Runtime v13.0.6.1027 causing Load Report Failed on Citrix Receiver v13.4.0.25

With the installation of SP6 runtime, our clients that connect via Citrix are getting the following Load Report Failed message:
In order to fix, they must change their Citrix Connection Session Security for Files to Full Access. And, apparently, even if this Files setting is correct, they still cannot create files on the root of their C: drive, so they must create a new folder on their C: dirve and save any files to that folder.

Prior to our upgrade to V13.0.6.1027, we we used the Crystal 2008 runtime components to run reports, and had no issue. Why, with this version of runtime does the access change? We have many citrix users, and this has become a critical issue.
Can you please point me to the specific forum that states the known issues with Citrix and CR?

I never checked myself but because it a Citrix issue you should ask Citrix for help. They are familiar with permission issues and configurations.

IE or Contract Management v13 thinks my DOCX file is a zip

When trying to open an attachment IE or Contract Management v13 thinks my DOCX file is a zip. This started last Thursday. Outta the blue. We’ve been searching for a days now for a solution. Nothing has helped. I have a few hundred users all with various combinations of applications on their boxes. XP PRO, Windows 7, Office; 2007, 2010, WordPerfect 5.1 files work just fine. :)

We are having the same problem and are wondering whether you found a solution. A workaround is to disable MIME handling in IE (this is what Oracle support will suggest), but this is far from ideal as it does compromise security slightly.
The problem arises when WebLogic (or JBoss, WebSphere....) sends the file to your browser. It marks the file as Content type "application/octet-stream" instead of identifying it as a MS Word 2010 document. This causes IE to try to identify the type itself. First it checks the extension of the file and looks in the registry to see what's there. If it finds an entry, it then reads the first part of the file to see if the content matches what the registry says. Something appears to be broken in the way IE identifies Word 2007+ files, causing it to identify them as .zip files. Users are then prompted to save the file to their desktop.
Word 2007+ files actually ARE zip files under the hood, but until recently we had no problem with them. There appear to be three possible routes to resolve this issue.
One, take Oracle's "pass the buck" advice and disable MIME handling in IE so that IE no longer tries to identify the file (registry hack set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_MIME_HANDLING\iexplore.exe to 0). This bypasses the problem and introduces security holes to your workstation configuration.
Two, configure your Java application server to send the files with the correct content-type header. I can't find a way to do this in WebLogic so far as you have to modify the web.xml file, which is created by the application installation/deployment. Oracle Primavera CM support has yet to respond to my request on this other than to say "consult WebLogic support". Oracle WebLogic's support will (as they have in the past) tell me it's application specific and to consult Oracle CM support. Neither support group seems to be able to support Oracle's products. (Dear Oracle, please get your act together. You own both products and should be embarrassed by the lack of customer service here.)
Three, figure out why IE is failing to match up the 2007+ file types with the file content. We're assuming a recent patch did this, but haven't identified which one. In any event, we will probably not be allowed to roll back a security patch to fix this.
Anyway, I hope this helps you. I have a case open currently, as well as another post in the forums.

In the documents screen - sorry, new to this so not sure if that's the right terminology... Basically the screen showing all documents, if you drag down, there should be two options at the of of the page: Date and Name. Select Name and your list should now be in alphabetic order.

Can't Export U3D files in photoshop v13.0.2

I have just updated Photoshop CS6 Extended to v13.0.2 (from v13.0.1) but when exporting 3D files now it no longer has the option to export U3D file type but v13.0.1 does. Does anyone else have this problem? or is there a way to export U3D file type in v13.0.2?

Cette sauvegarde est constituée de
- plus de 6000 fichiers JPG
- 1 fichier Backup.Tly
- 1 fichier Moncatalogue.psb
La fonctionnalité Restauration de Organizer (de Photoshop Elements V13) restaure correctement la base de photos. Mais lorsque je lance la conversion du catalogue à la fin de cette phase de restauration, après avoir vue la conversion de x fichier JPG, la conversion se bloque sur la conversion du fichier desktop.ini (d'où sort-il???) et se termine par un message d'anomalie qui n'explique rien...
Quelqu'un aurait-il une idée?

ARC rendering of DNG Files of photos shot with the new Canon Powershot G16 with "PSE V10 + CR 6.4.1" and with "PSE V13 + CR 8.6"

Because (for reasons which are not relevant to my questions): I can not reasonably migrate to the newest PSE Versions and I am more or less stuck for a couple of years to the use PSE V10. I am therefore looking for a relatively efficient solution to process/edit (a small percentage) of the RAW Files of my new/future camera(s) with the combination of PSE V10 and CR 6.4.1 (according to my understanding PSE V10 does not support CR 8.6 – PSE V10 does not even allow me to import RAW Files of new cameras into the PSE catalog).
I was hoping that the DNG Converter could be a good solution for me. I was intending
to convert the RAW Files of my new camera (and of my future new cameras) with an up-to-date version of the DNG converter,
import the .dng Files into PSE V10
and then look-at (and then for some few of them: edit) the DNG Files with the combination of PSE V10 and CR 6.4.1.
However, I got recently the impression, that the only Camera Profile of CR 6.4.1 that renders reasonably well the DNG Files of my new Canon Powershot G16 compact camera is the “Adobe Standard” Camera Profile. In my tests with the combination of PSE V10 and ACR 6.4.1, the rendering of these DNG Files with other CR 6.4.1 Profiles (e.g. the “Camera Faithful” Profile) is (regarding colors and brightness/contrast) really ugly and (for a non-expert like me) more or less unusable (while the rendering of the same DNG File with the “Camera Faithfull” Profile of the combination of CR 8.6 + PSE V13 is quite reasonable).
May I please ask the following questions to somebody who is familiar with DNG and CR?
Do my observations (i.e. ugly rendering of Canon Powershot G16 photos with the “Camera Faithful Profile” of ACR 6.4.1) correspond to what DNG experts should and are expecting?
What is the probable reason of the ugly rendering of the “Camera Faithful” Profile of CR 6.4.1? Does the DNG converter not include a G16-specific “Camera Faithful” profile in the DNG file?
Or do you think, that I made something wrong and that I am the one to blame for the ugly rendering with the “Camera Faithful” Profile used by CR 6.4.1? If that’s the case: what did I probably do wrong and what can I do better?
Do you think that with the combination of PSE V10 and CR 6.4.1, I will have similar problems with the DNG conversion of Raw files of future cameras like the follow-on to the Nikon D5300 or D7100 (which I will probably like to buy once available)? Or do you think that the problems that I encountered with the Powershot G16 photos are unlikely to happen with most other new camwras?A lot of thanks in advance for your answers.

Based on your answers I will first try the probably simplest solution: the download of ACR 6.7.
If that will not work for me, I will try/investigate something else, that, if I interpret your suggestions correctly is the following: create with the combination of PSE 13 and ACR 8.6 profiles that I will try to use with the combination of PSE 10 and ACR 6.7 or 6.4. That is an idea that I was not at all aware of and that I owe to you.
All that is quite new to me, and I can therefore imagine that I will come back to you and ask for detailed suggestions or directions.
A Detail: it is on the same machine / same Windows-occurence that I have installed the combination of "PSE V10 + ACR 6.4" and the combination of "PSE V13 and ACR 8.6".
1) The main reason why I can not use for my main real-life "productive" PSE Catalog the combination of "PSE V13 and ACR 8.6" is the lack of Support of/by the 32-bit mode "KODAK Digital ROC Professional" Filter/Plug-in in a PSE V13 Environment. I need and will need that filter for a couple of years for the retouching/restoration of thousands scanned Versions of my old slides that have a strong color-cast. I am also using the 32-bit mode "Kodak Digital GEM Professional" Filter for a strong noise reduction in the scanned Versions of my old slides (but I can imagine, that I could find good 64-bit mode alternatives to the GEM Filter).
2) In addition I have with the V12 and V13 PSE Editors, for a lot of my photos files, problems with the wrong Dates/Times assigned by the V12/V13 PSE Editors to new file containing a new/edited version of my Foto files.....
But these 2 previous items are other stories/problems that I would like and shoud keep separate.

To allow the J2EE role to be used inside the application, edit the orion-ejb-jar.xml file
present under <oc4j-instance-home>/application-deployments/admin_ejb directory.
e.g. /home/wsadmin/product/10.1.3.3/OracleAS_
6/j2ee/rib-rms-oc4j-instance/>/application-deployment/ admin_ejb
This completes the creation and mapping of the users and roles. Restart the oc4j
instance after these changes.
What exactly we are supposed to do in the orion-ejb-jar.xml?
Can anyone let me know with exact details and format in which the orion-ejb-jar.xml can be modified?

V13 Organizer refuses to open

I installed v13 yesterday. Opened PSE and it was fine - opened Organizer and it was fine - allowed it to update my catalog (from v9) and all was well. Closed out. This morning there was a large update for Camera Raw which I allowed. PSE opened fine after the update but Organizer won't open no matter what - I only get a notice that Organizer has encountered a problem and Windows will search for an answer and notify me if one is found. I even tried reinstalling v13 and still same problem..... What should I do now?????

Missing archive file v13 download

I am getting a "missing archive file v13 elements" download and have wasted all afternoon trying to find help info on adobe web site

I've been looking all night for the solution to this problem. I've also been looking for an actual link to Live chat with Adobe but I think that supposed option is BS. It seems they want the general public to do their customer service for them. Awful customer service.

Oracle Retail Point Of Service V13.1.1 Installation in OEL5u2

I am installing Oracle point of service v13.1.1 server in OEL5u2 OS followed by the the ORPOS installation guide, installation finished successfully, while trying to start the *./StoreServerConduit.sh* script from the POS installation directory *<Install directory>/pos/bin* to start the POS server am getting the following error, Kindly give some ideas to overcome this error

Hi Nagesh,
As per your suggestion,
1) we Cross checked POS and other schema user that can able to connect with sql tools like Toad & Sqlplus.
2) Here we Configured the ORPOS server and client only in Stimulated Mode (as per your advice).
3) Are you installing ORPOS with all devices support? --> No we installed only ORPOS not all remaning devices.
We Try to Start the POS client using ClientConduit.bat the batch file started but in the POS application we are getting an same error *"Geo Code Missing"*
Checked with log file, its showing errors shown below

Should I uninstall Elements v8 before installing Elements v13?

No, they are both stand alone applications and will work happily side bey side.

V13.1 freezes while downloading

Ever since I upgraded to v13 each time I start a download firefox keeps freezing(accepting no input whatsoever) until the download is completed or stoped.
Everything else works perfectly normal while this issue is going on.
I'm using Win7SP1

just purchased PSE v13 on mac, primarily using the organizer

How do I stop this from happening?

I enter misc. items in each metadata file, ie. document title, author, description, keywords, copyright notice, etc. Each image has it's own metadata file, with unique keywords, which are unique to that image. The keywords then show up on the right side of PSE organizer under 'imported keyword tags'. Then I can select a keyword, unique to that image and wa...la... that image only appears in organizer. I have been doing this for years (like probably 10). But this is the first time I have experienced the duplication issue.
Not adding any auto-adjustments in Organizer as far as I know.
The names are not duplicated in organizer, but appear as ie. scnr0122.jpg and scnr0122-1.jpg. But the '-1' is not found on my server. Apparently they are being added from another source. Is it possible they are being pulled from a cloud server, ie. creative cloud or revel?? I do have the same files on those cloud servers, but am not intentionally duplicating the import.

The wiki says "brcm80211
The brcm80211 driver is included in the kernel since 2.6.37. No further action is necessary on the part of the user."
...so I didn't installed anything besides wicd.
