V570 No wake up, No video and now... no power

I've got a V570 that is about a month old or maybe a little less. It ran no sweat all yesterday. I let it be at night after checking my emails one last time and I assumed it would just go to sleep as it normally does but I can't really confirm that it did as I also went to sleep.
This morning I came in and attempted to wake it up and nothing happened. Power button LED was lit up along with some of the other standard lights... but no video, no fans coming on, nothing. So I assumed that maybe it crashed or locked up. I held the power button and it shut off. I waiting about 30 seconds and fired it back up. It whirred to life but still no video. So I waited... and waited... and still nothing. Again, I shut it down holding in the power button.
Unplugged everything from it (USB wireless KB and Mouse, External monitor, Wacom USB drawing tablet) including the power cord. Flipped it over, popped out the battery, all looked fine, set the battery back in place. Flipped it over and hit the power button and nothing. The LEDs weren't even lighting up this time. So, I thought maybe the battery is a dead unit... I plugged it back in and still nothing. No LEDs, no fans, no nothing. Popped the battery out and plugged it in to power and the LEDs flash but all that happens when I hit the power button is what I'm guessing is the CPU fan comes on at full speed. I'm not sure if this laptop can be run without the battery installed when the power is plugged in though... My old HP allowed that so I thought it was worth a try.
I'm on hold as I type this with Lenovo support but I thought I'd branch out and see if anyone else here is experiencing this or has a solution. I use this thing for work, it's been solid for the time I had it but **bleep** it's gonna make my week suck if I can't get it up and running again.
Edit - I forgot to mention, I tried the onekey recovery button when it was powered off and got no results doing so.

Whatever you read about iTunes is wrong unless you're actually referring to feature movies, not videos. Videos, apps, music and iBooks you can re-download:

Download to your computer and then sync to your iPod touch whatever will fit.
And no, I can't say with certainty that they won't give you a refund, but it's unlikely. The most probable outcome, if you do indeed mean movies, not TV shows or other videos, is that they would set up an additional download. For other content they'll probably just direct you to the same instructions on re-downloading I just posted.

160 GB iPod classic crashed when trying to view a video, and now just keeps rebooting. What can I do?

This is the third iPod classic this has happened to, so it's not a fluke.
I upoaded a video podcast from iTunes. The video name, etc. displayed properly in the iPod, but when I tried to open it, the iPod crashed and now just continuously reboots. My iMac does not recognize the iPod anymore.
Any suggestions?

I clicked to block ads before videos, and now I can't watch the videos

I wanted to avoid the commercials before viewing videos, but now all i get is a bland screen

The ads/video are part of the same element.
You'll need to re-enable the ads in order to see the video.
To re-enable something
- in Ad Block Plus: Click the ABP icon, select Open Blockable items. (blocked items will show up in red text) find the item you previously blocked, Right-Click and select "Add Exception rule for item"
- in NoScript: Click the S icon, select "Allow <whatever script runs the movie>"

I dropped my IPhone 6 plus in water and now the power button does not want to work

So i had the Iphone 6 Plus in my hand when it feel into a big puddle and it was in there for more than a minute so i come home and i find out that the power button (on the right hand side button) doesn't want to work like its on and im on the home page and then i press the button and nope nothing and the volume button somewhat works and sometimes the power button works so i turn it off and i put it in the rice next thing you know the phone turns on again without me touching it or anything. So I need help and the phone is new not even a month i have had it and i don't want to spend money on it. Please help! You can try leaving it in that bag of rice for 5-7 days to see if it will dry, however if it will not stay turned off, I would say that something is shorted out. You will need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service provider and be ready to pay for an out of warranty replacement. If you purchased Apple Care Plus there is only a deductible, but without it, you will have to pay the price of an out of warranty phone. User damage is not covered under warranty.

I connected my ipad to a mac computer to stream a video, and now it doesn't recognize my sim card! Help!

I had a movie in my ipad and wanted to see it on the tv. So i connected it to a friend's mac. Automatically when i connected it, itunes (his itunes) asked my for the name of the ipad and other stuff i don't remember. We were able to see the movie but when i disconected the ipad it says "No sim" even if the sim card is where it always is. Now i don't have any internet! (i'm using an ipad 2)

Download iTunes for your computer, by going to http://apple.com/iTunes Then connect it to iTunes and see what happens. If nothing happens try doing hard reset, by pressing the home and wake/sleep button, ignore the red slider, and continue pressing until it turns off and turns back on.

I moved my source videos and now I need to locate every single file...

Is there an easier way to just change the directory for example to where all my videos clips are now located?
Or do I really have to point to the exact file for each and every one?

The major thought is that, when you import media into a project, what you have in the project are just copies of the originals that were saved to the computer hard drive. In order for the project to work, it must trace back to its source media at the hard drive save location where they were imported from. If not, the horror stories of Media Offline.
Everything would be very easy for you if you can get your project from the laptop in a Copied Folder generated by the laptop's Premiere Elements File Menu/Project Archiver/Copy option. That Copied folder will contain the project file (project.prel) plus copies of the source media that were imported into the project (whether just into Projects Assets or actually used on the Timeline).

Matters can be complicated if the above does not exist. It can come to "Where is the file....?" for reconnecting links between project and source media at its new location on the main computer. In this scenario you just have to get lucky and hope that the program will reconnect more than one missing piece as you labor through one of these messages at a time. You could click Skip All on the first to get into the project. But then you still have to do the reconnects.
The Replace Footage is an interesting alternative to the "Where is the file....?" messages. But, best take your chances with the latter before testing out Replace Footage

I was making a iMovie video, and now it's gone!

All I did was try to upload it to YouTube, it gave an error, so I tried to go to the iMovie folder (projects) and copied the folder to my desktop (as I wanted to upload it from YouTube itself, and would be more convenient on the desktop). I renamed the file's name (I didn't rename the extension at the end). Now when I enter iMovie, I don't see it anywhere! It's just gone! At the beggining it gave an error: "Source clip missing". But now, it doesn't give that error. I kept trying to reopen iMovie to see if it was there, but nope! I could only see the file I had taken the original recording from, but not the edited completed one, meaning that I could only see my recording, but not all the edits, captopns, etc. Please help me get my video back!!!!
I AM NEW TO APPLE, SO PLEASE TRY TO MAKE IT UNDERSTANDABLE FOR ME! EXPLAIN IN AN EASY WAY, PLEASE!

Could be
1 - the restore disks that came with the computer
or
2 - the iLife DVD that you purchased
or
3 - the app store - log in under the Apple id used to purchase the software or to set up the computer - look under purchases - you might have to unhide or accept the Application first
and it is not at all ovvious that you did look in the Applications folder before posting and it certainly is obvious that you have not actually resolved the problem by reinstalling as suggested

I bought Quick Time Pro to help edit videos and now cannot SEE any video through my Quick Time Player

I can hear the audio for each video BUT the window for SEEING the videos does not open- it remains "closed" on top of the start/stop/pause controller. HOW can I fix this so I can also see the videos I want to edit?
It worked fine the day I uploaded and began using Quick Time Pro, but has not since that day....

If it is still slow after removing Symantec, you may need a RAM upgrade. Yosemite can run very poorly on older machines with only 4 GB RAM.

TV shows can currently only be re-downloaded for free in the US. Have you got a backup copy on, for example, an external drive or a CD/DVD ?

It seems that lately when I deleted the videos, they're not removed from the phone's memmory.
I check form setting/general/usage : all my apps add up to less than 2G. In itune, it shows all memmary is under the catagory "other". Is there any way I can access this "other" memmory to see what's in it and delete the things I don't want to regain the loss memmory?

You could always try restoring, although maybe someone else on here has a better idea.
Hopefully by posting this, it will bump up and someone with more iPhone troubleshooting experience might chime in.
As for the videos - interesting! Do you have the iPhone on one of those window holders, or do you hold it in your hand since that might ironically distract you, unless you've gotten very good at it!

I just installed iOS 6.1.5 and now my power button won't work

Your best bet is to call the Vodafone technical support helpline. Since each manufacturer writes custom software for each OS. They might be working on new drivers...

HELP!! - Brand New z87gd85 no display and now no power ?

I bought new PC 2 days back here's the config -
Processor - 4770k
Motherboard - MSI z87GD65 gamming
GPU - MSI TwinFrozer GTX 780 gamming
RAM - Corsair vengence 8gb x 2
PSU - Corsair TX 850
UPS - APC 1500va Model : BR1500
Cabinet - Corsair 400R
I assembled everything yesterday but when tried to switch it on there was no display. Motherboard powersup, fans are rotating but no display.
I tried twice and then i removed GPU but got same results with onboard also. I checked both via DVI and vga both on onboard. There was no error code on motherboard debug display it was showing : 00 all the time. There was no beeping or anything.
So I removed everything and tried again with only 1 ram but still same result. But this time I let it run like that for 1 minute and it shut down automatically and there was no sign of power on the motherboard. Since then i tried everything reconnecting cables, restarting PSU, UPS, tried minimal config with just motherboard and cpu only, tried it by pulling motherboard out of case also, etc
BUT SAME RESULTS MOTHERBOARD IS NOT SHOWING ANY SIGN OF POWER ON ANY LED , FAN OR ANYTHING.
I checked my new PSU on my old motherboard, it worked.
I checked my old PSU (corsair TX 650) on new motherboard (with only mobo and cpu) AGAIN NO SIGN OF POWER.
IS MY MOTHERBOARD DEAD ?
Any ideas what else I can test ????
This is brand new board didn't worked even once.
After spending fortune on new high end gamming pc it just doesnt work NOT EVEN ONCE. Its really frustrating :|

Its "backup pro" & suppose to be new series as told by customer care but yes 85% efficiency at full load but TX 850 also has 80% efficiency. Still I am not really sure about UPS that's why I called customer care in first place. I will check that again with tech support from APC and I will upgrade if required.
But I don't really think thats the problem since PC isnt working even when connected to the mains directly.
