VADO HD - When saving I am only able to get 2 minutes of recording.

Help! After I've previewed and click save I only get two minutes of saved material. I think it's just saving the preview. What am I doing wrong?!

I upgraded to Pro specifically to export stills from a video. I want to export the stills as .png files which is an option offered in the compression types dropdown. All I seem to get are .pict files. What am I doing wrong?
Nothing. PICT is the old Mac default system image file format. Unfortunately, QT 7 Pro was never updated to use the PNG file format which is now the default Mac system image type.
Not a Windows user, so I do not know if your options window is different that the one for the Mac. Basically, you are not being given the option of changing the file type, but rather how the PICT file type will be compressed as seen below:
Frankly, you may have been better off installing the free MPEG Streamclip app if not already on your system. It should allow you to export a video frame to JPEG, TIFF or PNG file types directly from the player—assuming the Windows version works the same as the Mac version.

While this won't help if you are having password problems, I did want to point out that you do not need to access old machines to de-authorize them. Once you are signed in at the iTunes store, access "my account" by clicking on your username in the top navigation bar. Then "manage devices". You can remove any old machines that way.

When saving library item, only OPEN pages updating (closed pages not updating)

When I save my library item it only updates the pages that are OPEN and not the ones that are closed. It starts the update process then stops after updating the open pages and never completes the process. I have to click "stop" after a minute or so. Then it prompts me to update the pages again.
How can I get it to update ALL pages associated with the library item?

When saving a bookmark, only three of my folders are shown, though I have many ... how can I save into a different folder?

I have several different bookmark folders, but when I want to save into one of them only three are shown ... always the same three, and no apparent reason for only these to be chosen. I cannot get the complete list by using the right-hand down arrow, and "choose" doesnt show any of my own folders, only Unsorted Bookmarks and Bookmarks Menu. HT1695 New iPhone 5 -only able to get wifi when sitting next to router. My old 3GS with iOS 5.1 works fine all over house. Any ideas on how I can get my new iPhone 5 to work as well as old 3GS?

I just got my new iPhone 5 yesterday. I'm having difficulty maintaining a wifi connection. I can get reception when I'm sitting next to router but I get a short distance away and I get the message 'unable to connect to network'. My old iPhone 3GS works fine at same places where new iPhone 5 won't connect. I still am using ios 5.1 on 3GS. I've turned off my old phone to make sure it isn't causing some type of interference and also switched off the cellular network to try to force it into wifi mode but without any success. I don't think it's my router since my old 3GS is working fine. Anybody have any further thoughts? Thanks

There are some low-profile slots though 1 of them are occupied by the firewire card: 1 low-profile PCI, 2 low-profile PCI Express x16, 1 low-profile PCI Express x1
We actually purchased 13 of these computers for video editing, so I really hope it is possible to fix this without buying 13 low-profile graphics adapters. What gets to me is the fact that it does work when I disable the driver. (!) Shold therefore be doable to make a driver/update that works :-(
Any ideas? Or, in worst case, anyone know about a low-profile graphics card that works?

Only able to get 260 songs on a 4G mini

I have read a lot of these posts and haven't found an answer to my question yet so I am hoping someone can help me.
I have a 4G mini and my husband has a 1G shuffle but I can only get about 260 songs on my mini when apple says it holds up to a 1000 songs and my husband shuffle can't hold more than 25 then apple says it should hold about 240 songs. Majority of the songs in our library are MP3's, ACC's and one or two WAV's. Also we have itunes at default transfer settings (128 kbps).
Can anyone please help?

It's probably because you have the import settings and bitrate set wrong. Look in iTunes under edit/preferences/importing. What does it say in settings and import using? You need to compress your music using either mp3 or aac. If you see AIFF, WAV or Apple Lossless then those formats are going to take way more space than mp3 or aac, especially the first 2 which are raw uncompressed formats. Bear in mind that Apple quotes the number of songs you are able to store on any iPod by using aac at 128kbps for a 4 minute song.

The WAV files you mention are huge in comparison to compressed formats and were not really meant to use on an iPod.

When saving for web in cs5, I get slices saved. How can I change this preset?

Since I started using photoshop cs5, every time I save for the web, I get slices saved, what's annoying about this is the fact that instead of getting the images or slices in this case, saved in the folder I select, it'll automatically create an image folder and then I have to go over the folder and rearange all the images again, it's really time consuming.
Is there a way to avoid this, so that when I select the slices I want to save, they'll go directly to the folder I want instead of having an extra images folder created within my folder...

HT201272 I downloaded Prep & Pantry Lite (free), then decided I wanted the full version ($4.99), downloaded to iPad but only able to get lite version on computer. Yes, read support page.

Followed the directions on the support page: at itunes store, logged into my account, clicked on "Purchased", clicked on icon next to "Prep & Pantry", it only down loaded the "lite" version. No full version noted anywhere under "Purchased", although my account does show I paid for the full version. Full version IS on my iPad but did not transfer during syncing either. I sync with my a laptop that has windows xp (older laptop, will not support windows 7). Any suggestions?

The PC does support 4Gb of ram, although it's the max it supports, it does support it. I have read quite a bit about other people having this issue with other systems and I've gone all through my bios looking for SOME sort of option that I can at least play around with, but there's nothing there. I've also upgraded the bios thinking that "maybe" it could be something with that. The video card I'm using is a Nvidia Quadro NVS 420 512 Mb. I've tried disabling IndirectMemoryAccess in my xorg.conf thinking that might be messing with it somehow, but it did nothing. I just tried removing the video card altogether and running w/ the onboard video and alas! I recovered 512Mb, which I would be pleased with, but when I add the card back, the available ram disappears again. So now my question is this... Why would the kernel be reserving 512Mb of system ram for a card that has 512Mb of ram built in (at the same time not visibly acknowledging the fact that it exists)? Is this maybe a kernel option that I can pass at boot to disable it from reserving the system ram?

Only able to get ipod movies in US ?

I'm from Canada and a little disappointed about the fact that I cant d/l movies from itunes.I just got an 80 gig vid ipod and went to download a movie or two, and found that there is no place to get them from once I log in to the Canadian site. Please tell me this is not true,I hope that its in the works, anyone else having this experience as well ?

Unfortunately, the US store is the only one that has movie content at this time. This is due to the wishes of the copyright holders for movie content. There have been discussions that movie content may be available in other country's store sometime in 2007, but no exact time frames have been given.

Blackberry Z10 not sending/receiving emails or able to browse when connected to WiFi only via mobile network?

I have today moved from Windows Mobile device to BB Z10 and am hvaing difficutlies as cannot send/receive emails or browse when connected to work WiFi and only works via mobile network. WiFi works absolutely fine with all other devices including my previous Windows mobile but am concerned that nothing works when I connect to work WiFi as trying to keep data usage to a minimum.
Emails are coming in via Exchange Activesync in case that makes a difference and was only able to get that working when turned WiFi off when setting up as well.
Please help as mobile signal poor at home and have to rely on WiFi connections to get emails and essential i get them as cover a security support queue.........

SINCE YOUR LATEST UPDATE, I AM NOW ONLY ABLE TO OPEN ONE FIREFOX WINDOW AT A TIME, I ALSO LOST MY YAHOO SEARCH BAR TOOL.

I have had Firefox for a few years and have been very satisfied with all of it's features and qualities. I work a great deal from home and have always enjoyed the convenience of being able to work off of 3 or 4 Firefox screens at one time. By pulling up one screen over the other and then go back and forth (as I still am able to do with Internet Explorer), saves a lot of time and NEEDLESS effort.
Since your latest update the other day, I am now only able to get that 1 screen and no matter how many times I click on the Firefox Icon on my icon screen, no other Firefox screens will come up. I am stuck with that 1 screen...
PLEASE HELP!!!! I have also lost my Yahoo search tool bar due to your upgrade, as well as several others which I cannot seem to retrieve.

Since I upgraded to Firefox 19 from 18.0.2, on my Windows XP (SP3) laptop, I, too, can no longer open a new window. File-->New Window does nothing; also can no longer tear off a tab and open it in a new window (it stays where it is). Also, if I right-click on a tab and select Move to New Window, nothing happens. All of these worked fine in FF 18.0.2. All of these work fine with FF 19 on Windows 7. Only an issue on my XP laptop.
After trying to open a new window, and not seeing the new window come up (and yes, I waited a long time), I decided to close my current window, which had multiple tabs open. Instead of just closing, it pops up the message reminding me that I'm about to close all those tabs. If I say close, and then go into the Task Manager, the Firefox application has disappeared (as expected), but the firefox (and plug-in container) processes are still running. So I have to manually kill the Firefox process to get it to quit. it's as if it thinks there is another Window open (the one I tried to open but never appeared). This happens every single time! I've restarted my laptop, and that does not resolve the problem.
Is there a way to downgrade back to v 18.0.2 until this is fixed?

Sir, your Apple ID can be used as an iCloud account as well. They are both the same thing.

After installing the newest update, when I try to open a saved page Firefox only opens the homepage. Reset didn't help.

I am a web designer. I have saved pages that I update and upload to websites all the time. Now, after the latest updates, when I try to open these saved pages it only opens Firefox and loads the homepage. The saved page does not open. If I'm to keep using Firefox, which I would prefer, I need this functionality back.

I had tried all the suggestions. None of they helped. I can open the files by browsing for they after Firefox is open. I was able to spend some more time troubleshooting the issue yesterday afternoon. The issue has to do with the 64-bit file system. When I right click and select open with and then point it to the installation folder in the Program Files (x86) folder, it still won't open the file just opens to my home page. I did notice that when I was browsing for Firefox.exe that it defaulted to the Program Files folder not the Program Files (x86) folder. So I renamed the exe to LittleFox.exe and browsed for that exe and Firefox would then open the files as expected. So my guess is that it is a registry setting that is all the headache. I don't have time to run that problem down but will just use my workaround by renaming a copy of the exe and use that with my file association.

How can I play all the videos I have saved to a playlist? I only am able to get one playing at a time then I have to select the next and play it.

I am not able to get all/any of my videos to play one after another like my music playlists. I thought it worked once but I am not able to recall how.
Your help is greatly appreciated. I am tired of having to go back after each video (be it a music video, tv show, movie...but music video in particular).

The Videos that do not play - Are they all Checked.
Right Mouse Click on a video, If at the bottom of the popup it has Check selection then that is what is missing. Suggest you select all your videos, Right clcik and mark all as checked in 1 go. Then your playlists will run through them.
I think they only play one at a time because when you double click on them to pl;ay for that 1 video it overides the checked/ Unchecked feature

I am able to get color images in the continues shot but when i try to snap a color image which i need for my processing i get only a monocrome image

I have been using lv_vfw.llb VI's for grabbing images from a CREATIVE WEB CAM ,i am able to get color images in the continues shot but when i try to snap a color image which i need for my processing i get only a monocrome image ,i have been trying to play around with the RGB weightings but i am unable to get a color iamge,it shall be of great help if you could help me in doing this as it is urgent for me.Thanks for your help.

I am unfamiliar with the lv_vfw.llb, and have not used it before. However, I noticed that you stated that you are able to grab in color, just not snap in color. If this is the case, why not just perform a grab and then extract a single buffer from this grabbed data, which would likely be in color? This seems like a possible solution to the issue that you are seeing.
Other than that, I really don't know enough about the lv_vfw.llb to be of much help on this issue. Hopefully another member of this forum will be able to assist you with this software.
