Valid serial number of CS6 not accepted online

Hi
CS6 is running on my PC with a valid Serial Number which I used during installation and which I still have in print. When I now try to register this product with said serial number, system always says 'enter valid serial number'. Very strange, as product is running smoothly already with that serial number. How come I cannot register it online? Is it because it's a few years old?

Found it... Adobe site states, that trial versions of CS6 are no longer available and instead I could download trial version of CC. But that's not much of a help, when I only have a licence for CS6....

Moving upgrade version of CS 5.5 Design Premium to new computer with valid serial number but cannot find original CS 4 Design Premium serial number so will not accept

I am trying to move a fully licensed/registered version of Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium to a new computer, but since it was an upgrade from CS 4 Design Premium the installer says that it cannot find the software that allows it to be an upgrade. I have the old computer and still see the CS 4 installed, but cannot locate the Design Premium serial number. I do not have the original DVD or box for the CS 4 but have all for the CS 5.5.

If you sign in to your Adobe account online you might be able to find the serial number for your CS4 installation.

Flex Builder 3 forgets valid serial number, constant prompt

Hi all,
I installed Flex Builder 3 on a Windows XP 32 bit machine under one user account. It came up and worked great for several days. Later on, I made another user account and tried to use Flex Builder 3. Each time it starts up it says my trial period is expired and I need to enter a serial number. At that point I re-enter my serial and it accepts it as valid. However, as soon as I move to build a project or do practically anything, the program re-prompts that my trial period is expired and I need to re-enter a valid serial.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Flex Builder a number of times, but that does not help this issue. I have deleted the file c:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flex\license.properties, but that does not fix the issue. Deleting this file gives me a new trial period and the same behavior of accepting and "forgetting"/"ignoring" my valid serial number. One note, this file does contain my serial number and the date and time that the program most recently accepted it as a valid serial number.
Are there registry keys that perhaps did not get unset or other "magic files" that I need to delete to completely reset the serialization process? It is very frustrating that it is not accepting and "remembering" the valid license key.

just purchased finally the upgrade for CS6 from CS5.5 Design Premium. I have a BIG problem. When I run the installation file, I put the serial for the upgrade => OK, then I have this message : "valid serial number but no eligible product has been detected", and asks me to put a serial of my actual version. I choose "Design Premium CS 5.5" with the good serial number and then I have this message : "the serial number did not match with a eligible product. Please enter an other serial"... Any ideas???

Adobe CS6 valid serial number downgraded to tryout

I have a valid serial number copy of Adobe CS6 Master Collection. I am the original owner of the software. I was given the copy from my university. Each student was given their own copy of the software and for the past 2 years. I haven't had any problems. Tonight when I logged into Adobe Illustrator. I was asked to enter my serial number and when I enter it. I was told that my serial number wasn't valid and all my Adobe Software was downgraded to Tryout.

Certain licenses supplied by universities expire after a certain period of time which appears to be the case here. You should contact your university to find out what options are available to you.
