Valid serial number

I just bougtht Adobe Photoshop CS5 extended. A friend of mine looked at it and declared it be a counterfeit copy. The packaging and everything appears to be genuine. I have installed it and was able to register it with Adobe and get updates. Having said that, is there still any chance that it is not legitimate software?

If it's a CS5 number you need to install with your Creative Suite disks, NOT an Acrobat download.

If you had it on a laptop that crashed and you threw away, it is still considered as activated on that machine. YOu should contact Adobe by chat or by phone and have them deactivate for you.

Flex Builder 3 forgets valid serial number, constant prompt

Hi all,
I installed Flex Builder 3 on a Windows XP 32 bit machine under one user account. It came up and worked great for several days. Later on, I made another user account and tried to use Flex Builder 3. Each time it starts up it says my trial period is expired and I need to enter a serial number. At that point I re-enter my serial and it accepts it as valid. However, as soon as I move to build a project or do practically anything, the program re-prompts that my trial period is expired and I need to re-enter a valid serial.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Flex Builder a number of times, but that does not help this issue. I have deleted the file c:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flex\license.properties, but that does not fix the issue. Deleting this file gives me a new trial period and the same behavior of accepting and "forgetting"/"ignoring" my valid serial number. One note, this file does contain my serial number and the date and time that the program most recently accepted it as a valid serial number.
Are there registry keys that perhaps did not get unset or other "magic files" that I need to delete to completely reset the serialization process? It is very frustrating that it is not accepting and "remembering" the valid license key.

Valid Serial Number, but Wrong Product?

After an hour long chat with a technical support person yesterday I am still not any closer to fixing this problem. Can someone here please point me in the right direction?
I have a valid serial number for Design and Web Premium Pro CS6. Because of a hard drive problem I had to download and reinstall, which I did without any problem, but when I was prompted for my serial number I got this error:
The pull down menu you see here does not include Design and Web Premium Pro, so the activation stalls at that point. I double checked my account page to make sure I had the right product name and serial number, and I do.
The technical support person told me to download CS6 again, and I did that -- I downloaded the Design and Web Premium Pro package, and then the same problem popped up. Any thoughts on how to resolve this would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Valid serial number of CS6 not accepted online

CS6 is running on my PC with a valid Serial Number which I used during installation and which I still have in print. When I now try to register this product with said serial number, system always says 'enter valid serial number'. Very strange, as product is running smoothly already with that serial number. How come I cannot register it online? Is it because it's a few years old?

Found it... Adobe site states, that trial versions of CS6 are no longer available and instead I could download trial version of CC. But that's not much of a help, when I only have a licence for CS6....

I am talking about registering the product in MyAdobe not the application. The application accepts the serial number, however, online registration is not accepted. The myAdobe ID is [email protected] and the serial number is [serial number removed]. I have 2 adobe IDs how can I transfer the applications from one ID to my preferred ID and have the [email protected] ID removed? Sorry for the two questions.

just purchased finally the upgrade for CS6 from CS5.5 Design Premium. I have a BIG problem. When I run the installation file, I put the serial for the upgrade => OK, then I have this message : "valid serial number but no eligible product has been detected", and asks me to put a serial of my actual version. I choose "Design Premium CS 5.5" with the good serial number and then I have this message : "the serial number did not match with a eligible product. Please enter an other serial"... Any ideas???

I contacted Adobe support Chat and they confirmed the serial number and gave me a response code number to enter. Once that was entered the product downloaded immediately. The whole process took 10 minutes. Thank you for your response. I'm all good now.

I have a valid serial number copy of Adobe CS6 Master Collection. I am the original owner of the software. I was given the copy from my university. Each student was given their own copy of the software and for the past 2 years. I haven't had any problems. Tonight when I logged into Adobe Illustrator. Certain licenses supplied by universities expire after a certain period of time which appears to be the case here. You should contact your university to find out what options are available to you.
