'Valid to' dates for both the Header & the components in the BOM report.
Hi Experts,
My Requirement:
Need to display the 'Valid to' dates for both the Header & the components in the BOM report.
Right now we are using the Functional modules 'GET_STKO' & 'GET_STPO' for the header
& the components respectively. The report gives the correct output for the all the BOM alternatives
which exist. But for the BOM alternatives which have been deleted(updated in STKO-LKENZ)
'Valid to' dates are displayed as'00/00/0000'.
(Note:ECM is used for BOMs)
Is there any Logical Database that I can fetch the 'Valid to' dates of both BOM Header & components
which are deleted?

Dear Mahesh,
In my understanding I dont think you cannot get the valid to date for BOM header,unless a ECN,(engineering change number) is
used to set the deletion flag.In otherwords none of the business sets for all these BOM's the valid to date(which means the
default valid to date 31.12.9999 is taken).
Check with this FM, CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 whether can you get the valid to date for the components(infact here also the
valid from date given in the input screen impacts the report output).
Check and revert back.

IF there's no setting for Date Check in OS54 - Engineering Change Management
Control Data,then you can create a change number with past dates,and also to
use the same one for changing BOM.
Tell me one thing you are saying you want to use ECM.Was the earlier one
created without BOM was created without an ECN?
See already if you have created your BOM with an ECN,then remove the date
check setting which I have mentioned in OS54.
Now goto T code CC02 ,enter the Change number and give the valid from date as
01.10.2007.
After that check in CS03 whether this date(01.10.2007)is getting reflected or not.
I'm sure this will solve your problem.

I have been searching for "valid-to" date for BOM header and Items since several days but no luck ..
I know we can see it using transactions cs11/cs03 etc. But i wish to know the table where they are stored. As I need to extract them to BW.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

In table STPO,the field AEDAT gets updated only when a change number is used,otherwise the valid to date will be shown nil here.

I designed a template in word with page setup orientation to Landscape, to get the Excel report output. Later when i preview the same in Excel with the Landscape page setup..the print preview is showing me with some of the data going out of the page set up.My font size for data in word I put is 8pt Times New Roman.
Basically..my requirement is to print the report in excel with the landscape page setup.
But some of the data for same records is going on to the next page in excel??
How do i prevent this from happening?

The blog suggested above is to set the output for a PDF document using RTF template. Whereas, my requirement is to get a excel output using RTF template, with data fitting directly with in the landscape orientation of EXCEL when printed.
Basically, the requirement is : When i run the report, the excel output should be sent to a printer with style 'Landscape' from apps?? But the problem is that i am not getting all the pagebreaks i put in the RTF template and also some of the data for the same records is not fitting in to the landscape orientation of the excel while it gets printed.
But when i run the same as a PDF everything is fine... ..But that's not my requirement...Please help!

Your question is almost too much a personal one, begging the question "do we (husband and wife) feel comfy sharing one account on the Mac" maybe thats why nobody answered you.
It doesnt complicate anything, but it adds steps for switching accounts on the Mac/ purchases etc. of course
since your question is mostly personal, ..I wont answer THAT part of it, but creating a new account is easy.....messing with switching back and forth is also a personal preference 'issue' as well. I prefer to keep things simple, but...........you and yours, I dont know.......

I was just wondering if I can use time capsule with my iphone for both back up and to access the hard drive on the capsule?
I don't think backup is supported but you may be able to access the TC's internal drive, from the iPhone, with an application like: NetPortal
Note: I haven't actually tried this app, so if someone else has and was successful in accessing the TC's drive they can certainly chime in.
Follow-up. Just downloaded and installed this app ... and I can now verify that it, indeed, can access both my TC's internal and externally attached USB HDD. -
I have the iphone 4s. Ive tried to update my phone & its stuck on the connect to itunes screen. Ive tried to even restore my phone then update & i still have a error for both of them. I have the latest version of itunes & went through all the other steps. Its still not working & stuck on the connect to itunes & im growing extremly fusterated.

IDOC BOMMAT: Wrong validity-from dates for components
Hi all,
I am currently loading BOMs via IDOC BOMMAT for a data migration project. Unfortunately I am having problems to load the BOMs with the correct validity-from date for components. The data is correct when I check in LSMW, but after the load of the IDOCs the validity-from date of each component is the same as the validity date of the BOM header!
System Version is SAP 4.7.

Please put a cost object with valid JV data for GL accoutnt (line 001)
Dear All,
When the user is trying to post ASKBN, They are getting an error saying "Please put a cost object with valid JV data for GL accoutnt (line 001)"
So we tried to look up the error, and the WBS, Cost center, profit center and JVA details are all available in place. Still cant understand why this error comes. And why the system is asking to put JV details when they are available.
On checking, WBS has an AUC and AUC has the cost center which has the JV details and PC details. So I think everything is in place.
Can someone help please and let us know if we are missing anything else that needs to be checked ?

How to change the header and footer in the Section Breaks Next Page using OpenXML?
I have a word document file in which I added a Section Break of Next Page, now I want to change the header and footer of that page.
Scenario of example, I have a doc file which has four pages with headers and footers and added fifth page in the section break next page, I want to change the header and footer of the fifth page only. This is achievable manually by deselecting the Link to Previous
button in the Word Application but I don't know how to change it using XML?

I have requirement to charge the surcharge at the header level only to the customer in the sales document, the condition type as well as the value should not be distributed to item level
I have marked the condition as header. But still the value is copied to the item as well,
If I mark the condition as Group condition, then it distributes the total value to each item in the document according to Qty
Is there any other way, I could set up through config,

In T.Code VTFL, check what is maintained for field Pricing Type. If it is B then change it to G or depending on your business select a suitable value.

How can we transfer the header fiedl value to the item
we have add the "storage location" field to the sales order head and item, now we need to batch change the item's storage location when we change the head's storage fields ,
we have use the function module in 'crmc_map' transcation, but with some problems, when we change the head's field, we can't triger the item's 'SET' event, so we can't change's the item's fields(through the screen is changed, but when we use 'CRM_ORDERADM_I_READ_OW' to get the value, it stand still);
we also tried to when we change the head's field, we use head's set event to change to item's value, but we can't get item's guid, so Now I have no idea to deal with it.
Any body can help me?

Using the set method in this scenario is not reliable. The set methods are triggered only for displayed items, whereas you need to change the value for, I presume, all the items. In the code where you change the header field value, write the code to change values for items as well. The approach will differ depending on whether you are using the BOL method or directly call the maintain APIs.

I have written a web application in .net that runs on a shared server using Sql Server 2012. My program is only useful if I partner with certain data owners. I need to protect my program; they need to protect their data. I am assuming they at least run Sql
Server 2008 R2. I need to interface with their database using a couple of stored procedures. I want these procedures to only be available to my application, and I want the processes and output of the stored procedures to be apparent to me and to my application
alone. I assume they want their data to only be available to my application, not to me generally. This application needs to be available from my website, as well as from their website. I realize this question touches on areas outside of Sql Server Security
as it reaches into basic architecture as well. Any help or pointers to help would be greatly appreciated.

There is one thing you can do with certificate, that possibly may be appliable to your situation. Say that you develop the stored procedures at your site, and then deploy them at the other site. You want to make sure that the procedures are not modified
locally. To this end yon can sign the stored procedure with a certificate locally. When you ship the procedures, you also ship the public key of the certificate, and in the install script you use ADD SIGNATURE WITH BLOB to sign them. You take that blob from
your home system.
Your web application can then repeatedly check that the procedures are signed with the correct signature. It the procedure is changed locally, the signature is lost. They can re-sign it locally, but not with the certificate you shipped.
This does not prevent other users from calling the stored procedures or look at the code. For that you need trust and contracts between humans.
