Validate Data Infocube "External Services - 0SRV_C01"

Hi all,
I've activated External Services Infocube and now i have to validate agains R3.
Does anybody know how can i validate it please ? i mean transaction code, report, etc ; because of i have loaded initial load, the i executed a delta load (0 records) but when i compared the data agains ESLL there area a lot of missing records in BW ; so i dont understand how its works.
Any comments about it will be a apprecite it.
I will assign point if useful.

As Michael pointed out, we are using Enrichment Framework for calling extenal Services.
Enrichement framework is based on Adapters written as EJB.

How to validate data in proxy service of OSB ?

Hi,
I am in a situation like I have a proxy service with Request data and I want to validate it. If like email fields is not having @ sign character the service doesn't call business service. If validated then call the business service .

How download data of me2s 'po order for external services: in cxcel'

THIS IS sandipan. I am very new in this field . My requirement is when i am going to me2s t.code. then i am giving purchasing group , plant , Service Number as input. then it showing purchase doc . , item , porg , matl... , plant , crcy . It's ok. but after that when i am clicking purchase order it displays Purchase order for external services : overview screen in a hiarirchical view and no download option is available here. I need to export the data of that screen to a excel sheet . how Is it possible ? please help me ...

Hi
T165A is used for 'Services Pricing'.
Please note that for Services PO, you will have two pricing schema.
1) At PO-Item Level : RM0000 (or whatever you define in schema determination in Purchasing ->Conditions IMG and assign in your vendor master)
2) At service line level : Based on settings in T165A.
If you check in Services level conditions screen and click on Analysis, you will find that ZS0001 is triggered.

External Service data

Dear Friends,
I am in the process of preparing a report which contains all the details pertaining to a workorder . It is just an ALV form of document flow for a maintenance order . I don't know how to retrieve the service related data from the table for a maintenance order with external service like Service number, Service Description, Quantity , Unit and Service Cost . Please advice .

You cannot get this data directly, you have to use several tables and fields.

Virtual InfoCube with Services - function module parameters documentation ?

I have been trying to use a Virtual Infocube with Services.
I have seen most of the posts in SDN, and read the documentation in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/8d/2b4e3cb7f4d83ee10000000a114084/frameset.htm
I did not manage to find a precise description of the import
parameters of the Variant 2.
In particular, what is the meaning of the
i_tx_rangetab TYPE rsdri_tx_rangetab parameter. I read in the code of RS_BCT_FIGL_DATA_GET that it has to do with query columns. In the tests I did this table is alway empty.
Also, i_th_sfc gives you the list of characteristics used in the query. But it does not inform you on wether these are in the 'rows' 'free characteristics' or 'filter'. Is there a way of knowing that?

Inspection lot for external service

Hi Gajesh/ Sujit/shyamal/ all
we are planning to use service master for external vendor's service, i have couple of questions
please share your experience, if anyone of you come across this kind of requirement
1. is it possible to create an inspection lot for external service?
2. we want to capture / validate the vendor's external service, weather it is accepted or not? sometime we need to enter quantitative value also
3. is there any setting or config for assign /create inspection lot for service master?
what I know is without material master we cannot create inspection lot but i don't know about service master.

2 business req. are as follows
1. vendror is performing periodic service, MM side external service order (service contract/PO)created, bsaed on thatPO vendors performing service.
service entry sheet they are capturing man hours and date of service.
business wants quality of service to be captured in QM inspectiion lot.
2. production order ---> routing -- operation ---> vendor & service PO number assigned external work --> now inspetion lot will be created for that material/production order.
how can we link service master, service entry sheet and inspection lot?
how to map for this req.?
again is't possible to create inspection lot for service master?(without material master)if your answer is yes, then where/how can we assign inspection type ? which inspection type?

View Hebrew characters via a virtual InfoCube with services?

Hi there!
Is it possible to view Hebrew characters via a virtual InfoCube with services from an external database?
Requirement
Data which is physically stored in an external database needs to be shown in a SAP BW report to the end users. The movement of data must be avoided.
Concept
We use a virtual InfoCube with services in connection with UDC in order to retrieve data from an external database.
System Architecture
We use BW 3.5 and Web AS 6.40 J2EE on the SAP side. The external database is a Teradata database. All systems communicate in Unicode UTF-8.
Problem
The access of the data using SAP queries in this architecture works fine with regular Latin characters and numeric values. When we try to transfer a field into an InfoObject of the virtual InfoCube, which contains Hebrew characters in the external database, we are getting the following error message:
Messages:
Value '' (hex. '') of characteristic contains invalid characters
System error in program SAPLRRK0 and form RSRDR;SRRK0F30-01-
Can anybody explain this?

Hi Klaus-Peter,
Execute transaction code RSKC. In the "Permitted Extra Characters" field, input all your Hebrew characters and save your entries by executing the "Execute" icon.
Then go back and re-run your upload program. You shouldn't have any invalid characters again, provided you have added them all.

Regarding Virtual InfoCube with Services

I have a general doubt regarding two Standard InfoCubes
We have two InfoCubes FIGL_C01, FIGL_C01, based on which we have two Virtual InfoCubes with services. FIGL_VC1, FIGL_VC2.
What is the necessity for maintaining these InfoProviders as we are already having the base InfoCubes on which we can derive the queries.
What is the basic use of Virutal InfoCube with Services.

At query runtime, the service of the virtual InfoCubes uses the data from the basic InfoCubes to determine the balance-dependent location of the financial statement items (contra items), in the financial statement version and presents the result in the query. From the technical point of view, the service determines the item indicator in the key for the financial statement items depending on the balance in the respective node in the financial statement structure.

Note 673564 describes exactly why the virtual Infocubes 0FIGL_VC1 and 0FIGL_VC2 were developed. (because BW cannot handle the FI fin. statement hierarchies)

Virtual infocube with services - division of suppliers in categories

Hello,
Ive a problem and the idea to solve it with a virtual infocube with services. But unfortunately I dont know if its really possible to solve it like this.
The scenario is:
Ive suppliers, turnovers, goods (which have been delivered) and different quality deficiencies. In dependence of the turnover with each supplier, they will be ranked. For the position in the ranking they get points. From this start points one have to subtract points for the different quality deficiencies. In dependence of this end-sum, the suppliers will be divided into categories. And this division should be shown in the query.
But the suppliers can vary in each run of the query in dependence of the selection in the query. And the turnover of each supplier which depends on the selected goods can vary, too. So the division into the different categories depends on the selection and is dynamic. One doesnt know this before. And so it isnt possible to save the category of each supplier in an infoprovider.
Now I want to know, if its possible to solve this with a virtual infocube with services.

Hello Susanne,
first of all, yes, it can be solved with VirtualProviders. But I wouldn't expect it to have a good performance. It depends on the number of data records we are talking about.
When you create a VirtualProvider you should make sure that the RFC Packing switch is flagged on. You can then get the selections in the tables-parameter selection with the structure bapi6200sl. Now you need to read the raw data for your selection. Either use the function module RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ or write the data into an ODS to simplify the selection.
Based on the raw data you need to do you calculation and write the data back to the table data.
For details of the implementation of the VirtualProvider and the function module you can check the SDN. Limit PO Err Combination of GR/IR control not allowed for external services

Hi,
I am having a problem while replicating free text Limit PO's to R/3 in SRM 4.0 SP 13. The issue is while creating Free Text Limit SC with the "Confirmation and Invoice" option checked in, the PO's get created in SRM but fails while replicating to R/3 and in RZ20 errors as "Combination of GR/IR control not allowed for external services" although in vendor master i don't have check for the field "GR-Based Invoice Verification".
On the contrary while creating SC with the "Invoice Only" the PO is successfully replicated to R/3 with item category as B for limit orders.
Now i have noticed if i make changes in the vendor master data i.e. check the flag "GR-Based Invoice Verification" then the PO in my first scenario gets replicated successfully and also with respect to the second scenario but it gets replicated in both the scenarios as item category "D".
As far as SRM standard it should have ideally behave like the below:
Limit SC with GR AND Invoice -> item category D
Limit SC with invoice only -> item category B.
Now my question is why do my PO's fail in R/3 in the first scenario and also if i check the flag in vendor master for GR-Based Invoice verification then in the second scenario the item category is "D" instead of "B".

Please help with error message invoking external service from BPEL

Yes, I'm new to Oracle SOA Suite and BPEL Process manager. I've searched the forums, OTN, and Google and have not found any description of this error message:
"oracle.fabric.common.FabricException: Number of SOAP body elements and parts do not match in operation: <operation-name>"
Using JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 and WebLogic/SOA 10.3.2.0.
The BPEL process was built completely using JDeveloper's graphical tools... I haven't done any raw editing of the BPEL files yet. What types of things might I possibly be doing wrong that would cause this error to occur? Any idea what two things the server is comparing and deciding that there's a mismatch? It doesn't look like it is even attempting to invoke the external service, but bailing out before that, thinking that it's going to send bad data. Below is a bit more detail.
Also, I loaded up the WSDL (same one that I gave to JDeveloper) into SOAPUI. Then I took the payload that SOA was about to send (see below) and pasted it into SOAPUI. SOAPUI didn't complain and the target web service accepted the message and produced a "success" response. It looks like the payload is correct, so I don't know why SOA is complaining.

Welcome to BPEL. Take a moment, and write "it's a namespace issue" on a sheet of paper. Post it near your monitor. It won't always be a namespace issue, but it's usually a good thing to suspect first! Is the namespace prefix ns1: defined somewhere? Does your XML that is being sent really match what the WSDL has for input to the UpsertEmp operation? The namespaces for each element level in the XML need to match, not just the lowest level.
When problems like this get really sticky, you can use TCP tunneling (obtunnel shell?) to capture what is really being sent to the server, and compare that to what is sent from SOAPUI. That's more useful if it's a subtle header problem, but you may get better error messages if you catch the BPEL message and send it using SOAPUI.

re-create your configuration if possible and see whether that fixes it

Combination of GR/IR Control not allowed for External Services-SRM PO error

Hi All,
SRM 5.0 ECS R/3 4.6C
We have a service PO, for which an error Combination of GR/IR Control not allowed for External Services is being displayed.
The PO is in error in process at this moment. And is not in R/3
On SRM PO we have Confirm Performance of Service/Goods Receipt checked and Invoice Expected checked.
Confirmation-Related Invoice Verification is not checked. Any thoughts on this!!
