Validate the format of an email address?

I've got a text field into which the user enters an email address. Does anybody have a validation template that will make sure the email address is formatted correctly? It doesn't have to tell if it's a valid email adress...

There is a built-in JavaScript method available for this. It called "eMailValidate" and can be used in a custom Validate script. If you'd like an example script, post again.

You can have a different receiving email in the Messages app on each device : Settings > Messages > Receive At . I'm not sure that there is a different way to have the message only go to one device.

Normally, I could just go in via iChat and control the other machine and troubleshoot, but I can't do it with Facetime only. My buddy list doesn't see the other computer even though we are connected on Facetime right now. My name is not highlighted for the other computer. What could have gone so wrong?

You can't tell by the email address since you can pretty much put whatever you want in there (especially if the SMTP server is not filtering anything).
The header may be able to tell you something. There is a Received header value which looks like it has the routing information although I am not sure if this is a complete trace or just the last hop the message took.

You used to be able to do this through leaving unchecked the box in preferences "when sending to a group show all member addresses". However, that feature failed some time ago (two or three years?) and the only way to hide the addresses now is to put the group in the BCC field.

You may be able to change or reset the password on this old iCloud/Apple ID account, even if you no longer have access to the email address associated with it. Once the password is changed/updated, you should be able to log your iPhone out of the old iCloud/Apple ID account and log in to the correct new account. That is only present if you have already updated to iOS 5 or later. If you're on iOS 4 you can only update while connected to your computer's iTunes.

You can't access iCloud from your iPhone unless you're on iOS 5 or later. Otherwise, refer to this article:

Determine the fax number or EMAIL address for pur docs

Hi,
I am trying to send pur doc via fax or EMAIL.
I have created specific message types for that purpose.
The fax is created and sent to the default fax number / EMAIL address.
I want the message to be sent to the same vendor but to other fax number or EMAIL address.
I do not want to create a spereate partner for that purpose. I want to add fax number or EMAIL number to the address detail of the vendor and I want to mark it as the fax number for the pur docs.
In the UE/BADI I want to be able to determine the fax number / EMAIL address.
Does any one know any BADI/UE enabeling me doing so?

This is a known issue. What I am looking for is the place in which I can decide which one of the EMAIL/FAX that exists in the vendor master data to use.
As you probably know A vendor can have more than one EMAIL/FAX but only one of them is signed as the default one. The EMAIL/FAX used as standard is the standard one.

PowerShell Exchange 2007 Question To count up the total number of email addresses (view/hidden) per GAL

I am very new to Power Shell and need some help:
I have 224 GAL's on our Exchange System (Ex 2007) where, I need to count the total number of email addresses/display names assigned to each GAL. I am not sure how to set up a for-next loop in PowerShell. I am not sure how to set a input
file/variable, with the names of each GAL. (GAL is Global Address List)
I think it's $GALLIST = 'NameofGal1, NameofGal2, etc thru to NameofGaln' where n is the last GAL in the list.
So I need to now a command which would get all the gal names (Get-AddressList(?) for all the GAL's in the Exchange System and then pipe them into a function to count the number of email addresses.
In making a start with the following code and got stuck:

PS - is there a way to access, read and display variable name and value which stores the number of email addresses/per GAL in exchange 2007 database so you don't have carry out a count exercise. Because this metadata will be in the Exchange DB?

How do I make a submit button that sends the form to an email address?

I can see how to link to an email which then opens up an email someone could attach the form to. But I do not see how to make a button that automatically sends the form to an email address. Can someone provide assistance? Thanks!

Is it coming through as a winmail.dat file ? If it is then you could try one of the winmail.dat apps from the store and see if that works with it.
Or is it coming through as a PDF but isn't downloading, opening or displaying correctly ? If so then is just the one PDF, all PDFs, from one sender ? Have you tried closing the Mail app via the taskbar and seeing if the PDF opens/displays when you re-open the app ? From the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.

If you mean your rescue email address, it's in the Passwords and Security section, after you answer the two security questions.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.
