Validating Serial number on Adobe site.

Hello I was explaining that i uploaded Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional - serial number:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx3429 and it loaded correctly giving me an okay for the number provided as i followed through the start up process. When i went online to add it to my Adobe Account under the "My Products" screen > Register New Products, it states the number above is not valid. Could this be due to the product being outdated?

When prompted are you able to sign in with your Adobe ID to register?
Do you get any error while signing in?
Even though you enter the serial number, you have to sign in using the Adobe ID to register the software.

You cannot use your original files and serial number. See the following for the files you need and the associated serial number(s)....

If you had it on a laptop that crashed and you threw away, it is still considered as activated on that machine. YOu should contact Adobe by chat or by phone and have them deactivate for you.

I had Adobe 9 Standard on the old. But what downloads from the page http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-8-9-product-downloads.html is Adobe 9 Pro. Perhaps this Pro version is the problem.
Anyway, can you point me to a way to install Adobe on my new PC?

Invalid Serial number for Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Pro downloaded from your site

I understand that you no longer will activate Acrobat 7.0 Pro...so I went to adobe.com\go\activation and downloaned the file for Acrobat 7.0 pro...which is file 22020134.exe and noted the serial number provided which is <removed by mod - kglad>..however I am getting the Invalid serial number error whether i try to use the serial number you provided or the serial number on the cd.

that is the correct serial number. recheck your downloaded file and recheck the number you used.

I am talking about registering the product in MyAdobe not the application. The application accepts the serial number, however, online registration is not accepted. The myAdobe ID is [email protected] and the serial number is [serial number removed]. I have 2 adobe IDs how can I transfer the applications from one ID to my preferred ID and have the [email protected] ID removed? Sorry for the two questions.

Adobe CS6 valid serial number downgraded to tryout

I have a valid serial number copy of Adobe CS6 Master Collection. I am the original owner of the software. I was given the copy from my university. Each student was given their own copy of the software and for the past 2 years. I haven't had any problems. Tonight when I logged into Adobe Illustrator. I was asked to enter my serial number and when I enter it. I was told that my serial number wasn't valid and all my Adobe Software was downgraded to Tryout.

Certain licenses supplied by universities expire after a certain period of time which appears to be the case here. You should contact your university to find out what options are available to you.

Adobe Acrobat - "No valid serial number found. Acrobat will quit now" message

I moved some things around on my computer from the C drive to the D drive to make space, including Adobe Acrobat professional 6.0. Now, when I go to open it, I get the message "No valid serial number found. Acrobat will quit now". I have tried moving everything back to where it was, but that does not work. I do not have the CD to reinstall it, but I do have the serial number. Where do I go to enter the serial number? After the message pops up, Acrobat closes altogether and will not let me do anything.

I have exactly the same problem as Oxbay - but, I do have the CD & the serial number. When reinstalling the program, it just loads, never gives me the opportunity to save to a specific drive (which caused the problem in the first place), enter the serial number, or ask which type of installation (full or custom). I use the program erratically so no intention of upgrading to 8.0 Professional, but do need the program. You can't get into the "Help" section for a detect or repair issue. Any other suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you!

Valid serial number of CS6 not accepted online

CS6 is running on my PC with a valid Serial Number which I used during installation and which I still have in print. When I now try to register this product with said serial number, system always says 'enter valid serial number'. Very strange, as product is running smoothly already with that serial number. How come I cannot register it online? Is it because it's a few years old?

Found it... Adobe site states, that trial versions of CS6 are no longer available and instead I could download trial version of CC. But that's not much of a help, when I only have a licence for CS6....

Not accepting valid serial number after reinstalling Indesign CS4

If it's a CS5 number you need to install with your Creative Suite disks, NOT an Acrobat download.
