Validation & Active Indicator in CXD1 (EC-CS related)

Dear Team,
My client has created a translation method under "Currency Translation Methods (CXD1 tcode) earlier. Subsequently he wants give an X under the column validations and an Active column check box to be tick marked. When I go in the change mode, I am unable to subsequently make changes as both the columns Validations & Active are greyed out. Please assist me on how to activate the same subsequently...

Hi,
you can perform check function in CXD1only.. in the bottom you will find Check, print and position Push buttons Select your currency tanslation method from the list and click on the check push button, it will perform check and update the status in Validation field. If check is successfull with no errors then Active field will be enabled.

I have Firefox 4.0.1 Just wanted to know if it's possible to add a second activity indicator or more.

You can't add a second AGP card (there is only one AGP slot on the motherboard). You could add a PCI graphics card, but you will get much better performance by replacing your current AGP card with one that supports two monitors. There are various options depending on whether you have a display using ADC, how much performance you want, and price.
If you need ADC and don't want to buy a DVI to ADC adapter, you can look for a used Macintosh NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX Twinview or NVIDIA GeForce 4 Titanium. These don't support Core Video, so will not be able to take advantage of some features and speed improvements in Tiger.
If you don't need ADC, or get a DVI to ADC adapter, you can get much better performance. The best (but expensive) is the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Mac Edition 256MB. It has a DVI and a VGA port.
A lot cheaper, and a bit slower, is the ATI Radeon 9600 Pro Power Mac G5 edition, modified to work in a G4 Quicksilver. See:

With this card you will need an ADC to VGA adapter to run your second monitor. The other port is DVI.
Beware of the ATI Radeon 9600 Pro PC & Mac Edition 256MB card. It will not work in some Quicksilver modes.

Problem with TFRM table active indicator in pricing routine RV80HGEN

Hi experts,
I have created few custom routines in VOFM tcode, and trasported to Q system.
In DEV in program RV61ANNN and in VOFM tcode, i can see the new includes and new routines.
But when i check in Q system in VOFM tcode the new routines are not available, nor in RV61ANNN program(new includes).
I have run the report RV80HGEN . But its not working.
I checked the table TFRM and the active field is blank for the group number and routine number.
But in DEV TFRM table has an X value in active field for that routine.
I dont know how to do it.
I can retransport the request again, but i dont know what all the objects needs to be created a new request. its risky.
Plz help me out on this.
I have checked OSS notes, even it says the same.nothing else.
Points are rewarded fully.

The problem is with the active field blank in the test system. From OSS note 327220:
(02) Question/problem:
Even though report RV80HGEN was executed, the VOFM object is not registered in the object carrier. Why?
(02) Answer:
During the setup of the object carriers via RV80HGEN the system includes only VOFM objects which have set the 'active indicator' (refer to section 2.3.2). If the active indicator for the corresponding object is not set, the RV80HGEN does not process the VOFM object. Solution: Set the active indicator for the respective object and start the RV80HGEN again.
So I might suggest deactivating the object in development, transporting, then reactivating the object in development, and transporting again.

Would RV80HGEN turn on the 'Active' indicator in VOFM

Hi Guru, does any body know if RV80HGEN will turn on the 'Active indicator' in VOFM? Or does it only generate the codes for all routines marked as 'ACTIVE' in VOFM?
When we do the transport from test to QA, newly created routines are "INACTIVE" in QA even the active flag is turned on in test client when the transport is created. All the help documents stated we need to use RV80HGEN to active/generate the new routine, but it does not turn on the 'ACTIVE' set in VOFM, table TFRM in our case.
Any advice is appreciated.

Can't find the activity indicator in ver 29.0

the activity indicator is gone, it's not on the toolbar or in the custom folder.
can't tell if firefox froze or if the web site just takes a long time to load with out it

Had this issue myself. I've got no solution for you and customer support has been weak and non-responsive to say the least. Had an online chat with support last Saturday, 12/27, and was assured someone would get back to me via email within 2-3 business days. It's been over a week and no contact. I'm going to start the whole process over again. I personally disabled all firewalls and virus scanners and even went so far as to perform a clean boot on my system with no results. I am having the same problem with a Nero product (different company). It's frustrating as all hell.

Internet activity indicator? (using AirPort)

Hi all, is there any little application that will show internet activity using my 17 powerbook (OSX panther + airport)?
problem is, sometimes if I click to view a quicktime/wmv movie etc, I am not sure if anything is actually downloading.
Normally i can see the light on the broadband modem blinking, indicating activity, but my modem is in another part of the building when I use my powerbook.
any ideas?

I use MenuMeters available from http://www.ragingmenace.com/software/menumeters/ for this very purpose and it works great. It can also be configured to show disk activity. Very cool little program, released under the GPL for free (although the author does accept donations!).

Validation/Activation loop

I purchased, downloaded, installed and was approved for student/teacher Acrobat Pro XI. When I go to use the program I keep getting this Validation loop. It states it cannot connect to the internet. I followed the proxy wall suggestions and still. It keeps asking for a serial number, which I have, but never gives me a space to enter it. I've attempted to go for the offline activation to no avail.

Cross Plant Planning- MRP activation indicator turned after the creation of Material code

Dear Experts,
Working on Cross plant planning, where 1001 Production plant will stock transfer material to 8 different plants.
Right now, only 10001 plant had MRP and planning file entry ticked in customizing OMDU.
The other 8 plants have Materials codes created and MRP views extended but no MRP activation is ticked.
Now, to have Cross plant planning MRP set, I have done necessary configurations, Scope of Planning, Special Procurement 40, and parallel processing is configured. All master datas are set properly. Tested few scenarios in IDES, working fine.
If my understanding is clear, than I thin I need to run MDAB, activation of planning file and MDRE, Planning file Consistency Check, because MRP will run in background?
Is this correct or something more needs to be done ?? Please suggest
Please also tell what is the use of MDRE t code.

MDAB (RMMDVM20) is at plant level, you need to create different variants as per your plants
Create a variant for the new plants and then schedule a job for these variants.
Check customizing transaction OMDU -> set up planning file
entry and consistency check of planning file entries.

Hi,
The SDO_GEOM.RELATE function should be used when comparing a
small number of geometries geometries with an area-of-interest.
The SDO_RELATE operator should be used when comparing an
area-of-interest with a layer, and it will use the index on the
layer.
There are reasons why the SDO_GEOM.RELATE function exists. If
you have two geometries that were created as part of an
application, however they aren't stored in a table and neither
one is indexed, sdo_geom.relate is a convenient way of testing or
determining what the relationship is between the geometries.
Regarding the SDO_LEVEL you are using for indexing - 17 seems
pretty high, and it might take a long time to create an index at
level 17 using geometries the size of states - you might want to
try increasing the SDO_LEVEL from 8 to 10 and see if that makes a
difference before going higher.
One thing you can do is look at the geometries using Spatial
Index Advisor - you can also see the fixed size tiles and do some
queries to get a sense of the amount of work being done by the
index as well as the work being done in the relate portion of the
operator.

Not Valid Activation Key

Having gone through this issue several times with people from techical suuport I was sent here since it seems that have no idea of how to fix this issue.
The bottom line is I have tried repeatedly to activate my software and it will not work. They have repeatedly RESET my activation count but I would expect it ti be a one time effort. Is there an expert out therer who knows how to actually put a stop to this insanity???? I believe waht I need is a new Installation ID that will will then generate a new activation key. But with this serial number I keep getting the same ID -- which I would expect -- you know the old adage about the true sign of insanity and all....

Perhaps this information wil assist you to see why the message came up:-
Anytime you attempt to perform an action or run an application that has the ability to modify system files UAC requests permission to perform the action as a means of protection and security.
All programs are designated as Signed, Digitally signed, Certified or the provider (Publisher) meets Vista Logo standards.
"Uidentified Publisher" means the application/program does not meet any of the above critera and you install at your "own risk" and is why UAC is asking are you sure?
UAC can be "turned off" - not recommended to do so since it provides "protective mode" for IE - with protective mode IE creates "virtual" system/registry locations when you download and verifies no harm will be done by whatever it is you downloaded or install.
Majority of malware/virus/spyware infect a computer via the desktop - notice that when UAC prompt pops up that the desktop is "gray" UAC has locked the desktop pending your decision.
I normally keep mine turned on and just click allow when the system asks.
You can also do the falling before performing the install:-
Right click on executable,Click on properties ,click on compatiblity and Put a check in box run as administrator
Click ok to finish

XML file validation with XSD and loading to database relational table

I have some xml files coming to my unix directory. I will be having an XSD for those. My task is to validate those xml against given xsd and load the corresponding data into oracle relational tables with sqlloader only.
Please help me to accomplish. and let me know the contents of control file ( for SQLLOADER) if i want to load the xml directly to database.
Unix and/or PLSQL suggestions both are welcome.
