Validation Key

I bought a pc while on holidays. (my old pc was stolen)
It came with Office 2010 professional. Now it needs to be activated, but I do not have a key, the pc seller did not have one.
Can I buy a key to activate the s/w without having to download the entire suite again? I use a very slow internet provider due to my location and it will take hours to download the entire package.
If I can, can anyone give me an address?

Just maintain the Overhead group in FG material master.. It will be done.. This too is required, if you want to charge diff overhead for diff FG.... If your overhead rate is same across, you dont even need Overhead group
Assign a costing sheet to your Valuation Variant....
If you want to apply diff OH to diff RM based on FG, then
1. Then assign Origin Group in RM Master In the Costing sheet BASE, use Cost Ele & Origin Group
2. Maintain Org Group X in RM A, Org Grp Y in RM B
And
Ovh Grp 10 in FGA & Ovh Grp 20 in FG B
you can maintain 10% Ovh on RM A and 7% on RM B for FG A & 20% Ovh on RM A and 17% on RM B for FG B

Error code "A valid key code to use the Business View Manager is not found"

Hello.
I am trying to resolve this message in the Business View Manager. The message of " A valid key code to use the Business View Manager is not found" appears when accessing a folder in the Repositiry Explorer. I have admin rights for View, Edit and Set Security.
What am I doing wrong?

Try running this query in the CMS Query Builder tool:
Select * from CI_SystemObjects where si_id = 4
When the query returns, look for the attribute "SI_CAN_USE_METADATA" and see if its set to false. Or see if something else in there is set to false that looks more suitable. Your keycode might have the BusinessView manager locked out. The error sounds more like a keycode restriction than a permissions issue with security.

The reason is you press a key that cannot be used, e.g. duplicate record cannot be used in enter query mode.
You cannot suppress this message, even with message_level 25. If you code this for key-duprec, you will still get the message:

Crystal 11 Install message - 'Cannot get a valid key code'

On install of Crystal 11 get the message above, although the valid key code is filled in automatically on the install process. On launch, the app always asks for a key code, and when one is entered it proceeds as usual - but always asks again next time. Then, when the code is entered, I get the 'invalid or expired' message that others have noted.
The product is registered - it notes the product has already been registered when I try again but I get the following message back, always with same number: Thank you for registering Crystal Reports Developer XI.. Your Registration number is 8414648993
Following various clues on this forum I uninstalled/reinstalled the software. Version 10 is also on this machine, as well as 8.5, though I think this is not unique (we have certain apps that require one or another, so developers use several versions). I did not delete the registry keys for Crystal 11 because they weren't there, just generically Crystal ones, but otherwise uninstall and folder deletions went OK. Reinstall had the exact same problems.
Can anyone help? No sense venting on people who are trying to be helpful, but I would naturally just like the stuff to install OK if I have a valid code on the install sleeve, as certainly seems to be the case. That, or a place where I can plug in the error message and get a nice well-documented procedure to try, rather than a thread with clues - or where the solution is taken offline.

Hi Larry,
This type of issue normally occurs when the rights on the following regirty keys are insufficient: -
HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Specifically, the rights on the software folder must be full control. (Right click on the folder and select permissions).
Once you have provided full control, re-install the product once and everything should work fine.

The HOST ID is actually the serial number of the chassis minus all the preceeding zeros. To find Host ID, Validation Key and Current licenses, go to the SYSTEM TAB, LICENCE MANAGEMENT - all are displayed on this page.

Schema Validation Key/Keyref and substitutionGroup Problem

First, thank you for fixing the schemaLocation problem.
My next question is about key/keyref and substitution. If I define a key/keyref relationship inside one element, then use another element to substitute that element, I found that the key/keyref relationship is not preserved in the new element using oracle schema validation. I am not clear whether this is the correct behavior.
For example:

How to know if My product key is a valid key

I have read some threads about people buying Windows 7 product keys on ebay and they are prob no good. I bought 2 product keys for Windows Ultimate 7, but didn't buy them off ebay. But how can I find out if my keys are good keys? After I bought the keys I was given a link to what I think was msdn site to choose my language, and my product That I bought the keys for and I used easymule to download the Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit iso.
Before I go through the trouble of formatting my drive and installing Windows Ultimate 7 I was wondering how to tell if these keys are valid and make Windows 7 Ultimate a good copy and get updates. But I dont want to post the keys here if they are good because I paid for them to use and dont want someone to use them before I could activate them.

I think there are a number of companies selling key with links to a Microsoft download site.
We were scammed once, so I developed a few guidelines to prevent another scam:
Before you buy ask:
Is the site you are purchasing from a Microsoft Partner? They will be listed with Microsoft.
Are they based in the US (or the country you are purchasing in)?
Do they have a number you can contact?
Do they pick up the phone quickly?
Do they have an acceptable degree of knowledge about the product?
How many bad reviews do they have? (it is easy to create fake good reviews, but harder to erase bad ones.)
After you buy:
Open chat with Microsoft to verify that the key is what you were told it was.
While phone calls may take a long time, the chat que is usually a minute or less.
If it is valid, go ahead and use the key with your product as soon as possible.
At the time I purchased Office 2010 Professional, legitimate single copy retail prices ranged from $119 to over $500 on the internet. So, it is still
worth shopping around. The above guidelines should help (had I followed them the first time, I would have easily avoided the scam and still have found an excellent price).
Also, if you are purchasing multiple products, you might purchase just one at first, to verify the company is legit, before you risk a lot of money.

The Creative Cloud Version of Lightroom does not need a key. Is it possible you have a Trial or previous version of Lightroom installed and that is what you are seeing? If so, uninstall the Lightroom version you have and install it via the Creative Cloud Application.

Crystal Reports XI - Registration Wizard - Cannot get a valid key code

I'm not sure if this is the right forum or not and, if not, my apologies. I had this installed on PC before (CR XI Professional Edition) but my PC crashed and I had to do a reinstall on Windows, etc.
Now, when installing CR, I am getting the above error and CR will not start. Help!

For a new key code:
Request key codes for new orders via SAP Marketplace (SMP), will receive a download letter on new purchases providing them with their SMP login credentials. Using these credentials you can login and click in the "Keys & Requests" tab > Request a License key.
If your Key code does not work
You need create a customer message [https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/message] using component XX-SER-LIKEY-BOJ.

Validating keys using triggers

I have a primary key item in a detail block, I want to validate the uniqueness of the item before I move on to the next item (instead of on commit). What trigger should I use? Will I have to loop through the block checking to see if anything matches the current entry?
This is what I am attempting right now but finding it tricky .

I am assuming that you have a unique system generated id on the table, which you will have in your form as well.
Using a WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM, you could have a pseudo-code like this -
Save current cursor record in a variable (called var1).
Save :blk.fld in a variable (called var2).
select from the table where ID <> :block.ID and fld = :blk.fld.
if record found then
error message and raise error.
end if.
go to record 1;
loop
if cursor record <> var1 then
if :block.fld = var2 then
error message and raise error.
end if.
if cursor record = last record in block then
exit loop.
end if.
NEXT record.

I tried to reinstall Photoshop Elements 8 on my computer but I did not have the CD so I used the online installer. This turned out to be a mistake and the installer didn't recognize my valid key!
I confirmed it was valid with customer support and they told me that my key was only valid up to windows 7! Crazy! Is there anyway I can get an elements 8 key that is valid for windows 8?

If customer support couldn't provide you with a valid key for your system there isn't much else you can do. No one here has any ability to provide one.
Personally, I never heard that serial numbers are OS-specific. I know that older software versions are less likely to install/run on newer systems, but never heard of a key not being valid only up to a certain OS version.

But please note several cautions:
1. The product key is intended for one machine only. You would have to be the sole user.
2. Office 2008 is now very close to being obsolete. Office 2011 has been out for years, and Office 365 is available for your Mac as well.

FB4 Eclipse plugin referencing to trial key and not to valid license key

After uninstalling trial version, I installed Flash Builder 4 Standalone version with new serial key and that works fine, but after that I installed Flash Builder 4 Eclipse plugin and that didnt work. I checked the asm3.log file and it had message "SLCoreService: Query license: type = 1, duration = 60 days, remaining = expired.".

Why it work for Flash Builder 4 Standalone version and not for Flash Builder 4 Eclipse plugin?

The same license key will work for both FB4 Standalone and FB4 Plug-in.
In order to get out of trial mode for FB4 Plug-in, launch the bundled copy of eclipse, and switch to the Flash perspective. This should trigger the Activation dialog, where you can enter your SN.
