Hi Raja,
I understood from your question that you need to create your own Exit routines for Rules/Substitution for Validation & Substitution.
I have created my own Exit routines for Financial Accounting.
The standard programs are available for Validation and Substitution for Financial Accounting.
1. RGGBR000 ( Validation )
2. RGGBS000 ( Substitution )
You need to copy this to Z - Program ( ZGGBR000 ) and add your own exits. You can understand the program logic by seeing the existing sample user exits in this program.
After that, configure your Z program in SPRO
SPRO --> Financial Accounting --> Special Purpose Ledger --> Basic Settings --> User Exits --> Maintain Client-Specific User Exits
GBLR - Validations
GBLS - Substitution
Now you can able to see your exits and use it in OB28/OBBH transaction codes.

Bootcamp Windows 7 Wireless Network Connection: No Valid IP Configuration

I just bought a new 13" MBP and have installed Windows 7 Ultimate via Bootcamp 5.0. I installed the Windows Support Software that I had previously downloaded via Bootcamp Assistant on Mac OS. Although the Wireless Network Connection asked for my network key and connects to the network, I cannot access the internet. The troubleshooter find this problem: "Wireless Network Connection" doesn't have valid IP configuration. I am using my old Dell computer and it is connecting to the wireless properly and my MBP can connect on Mac OS, so I don't think it's a router issue. Here are the things I have tried so far to resolve this issue, but none have worked:
Uninstalling the Broadcom Network Adapter driver, restarting the computer, and reinstalling
Repairing the Windows Support Software with the Bootcamp 5.0.5033 Support Software Update downloaded from www.apple.com
Uninstalling the Broadcom Network Adapter driver, restarting the computer, and reinstalling the driver from Bootcamp 5.0.5033
ipconfig /release gives an error about disconnected media.

Did you find a solution for this? I have exaclty the same problem.
But I could temporarily solve it by setting an IP, gateway, dns etc manually. But that will only work in my current wifi-network.

Problem With Removal of Validation/Substitution

Hi all,
We are currently adding a validation for Vendor Invoice Creation (FB60), however we are experiencing a runtime error.
When we investigated the cause of the runtime error, it seems that there is a previous validation/substitution that was deleted using transaction OBBH, but the corresponding ABAP code was not removed. Now, since the program and include where this code is located is standard, how can we remove that particular code please?
We tried re-generating the substitution/validation code using program RGUGBR00 and RGUGBR01, but it seems it is not working.

Even I have the same problem.
Even after deleting the substitution code is still exits .
system generated code in Include GBTAKAMB have an syntax error which is giving short dumps.
Any help is appreciated.
Anyone used any SAP NOTE on this.

Error validating PTO configuration invoice qty

When we run Receivable Interface from Order Entry to create the receivable invoice, we face the error which states that " Error validating PTO configuration invoice quantity".
Can any please suggest as how to fix this problem.

Invoice Verification is checking of incoming vendor invoices. The Invoice Management System (IMS) provides you with a central access point for all incoming invoices (with and without purchase order reference). If errors occur when an invoice is posted, one or more exceptions are generated and the invoice appears in the Invoice Monitor.

Customer Master Data - Validation / Substitution Rule

Is there a way to perform a validation / substitution rule in the customer master data?
Eg: In customer master, payment history checkbox is a required field so the user will always have to tick the checkbox when creating a customer master.
Question: how to make this payment history checkbox defaulted to tick so that user don't have to manually tick it themselves when creating customer master.
Is there a validation / substitution that can be performed in customer master because in accounting document, we will be able to perform the validation/substitution.

You could potentially use a BADI to substitute the data. IMG > Financial Accounting > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Customer Accounts > Master Data > Preparations for Creating Customer Master Data > Adoption of Customer's Own Master Data Fields > Business Add-In: Customer Subscreens
You'd need to get an ABAPer to code the change in the relevant Method.

Hi,
You want to create a validation or substitution that is called at the callup point Complete document.
The usage can have different reasons.
Cause and prerequisites
1. You cannot choose all fields.
2. Your check of the document is too complex and cannot be carried out with the formula editor.
              You need ABAP in order to check the document or enhance the document for a substitution.
3. You want to create a validation or substitution which should be called line by line, however, at the callup point of the call per document line not all information is available.
              At callup point 3 (FI) the complete document is available. A line by line validation cannot be carried easily.
Solution
1. For callup point Complete document you can only use numeric fields, which you mainly use to carry out mathematical calculations.
              For this for example functions Total, Maximum, Minimum, Averageare available.
2. Create a user exit. For this refer to Note 48121.
3. Define the validation / substitution, that should work as follows (Example FI callup point 3):
              In the document, check whether at least one line of this prerequisite is fulfilled:
              1. Create rule that contains prerequisite and check (on line level), for example
                 BKPF BUKRS = '1000' AND BSEG-GSBER <> ' '
              2. Create validation/substitution:
                 Prerequisite: SUM (BSEG-BUZEI) WHERE rule > '0'
                 Check:       FALSE
              This way you make sure that in company code 1000 for each line a business area must be entered.
For substitutions refer to Notes 42615 and 386896.

"ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration"

Hi
I use an apple time capsule as a wifi router. It is wired to two other airport express routers to extend the range.
Everything has been working fine for months, but I shut down my PC (Windows 8.1) on Friday and started it up on Monday. On Friday I could connect to the internet in the normal way. On Monday it's not working.
I have told Windows to forget the network, then I connected to it again with the correct password. I get an error message "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration". I have also tried connecting using an ethernet cable but get the same result. I have checked my IPV4 and IPV6 settings to make sure that the IP address is obtained automatically, which they were and are.
There are many other devices currently connected to the wireless network and they are working fine (another windows PC, ipad, iphone). It is just this one PC that cannot connect.
To be clear, the PC was not turned on between Friday and Monday. This issue has just happened. It's possible that another device joined the network over the weekend so could the time capsule be "full" somehow?
I have tried turning the time capsule off and on, and also the internet router. And reset my PC's network adapter, and restarted twice already. Without any luck.
Would appreciate some help!

OK, have just "solved" this somehow. Having forgotten the network I was then entering the wrong wifi password. When I put the correct one in, I can connect to the network and use the internet.
The weird thing is that I never got an error message before telling me it was the wrong password. It appeared to be connecting. Also the ethernet connection should have worked surely, as that doesn't need any code.

Dear Muzamil,
you can download the complete document for creating validations & substitutions from SAP Help portal. But it is not available in PS. you have to go to FI/CO and get it. Still the logic is same. I too did all my validations based on the FI/CO help doc.

Font substitution configuration file

Good morning.
Looking for some information or guidance on the Font Substitution Configuration file that is optionally browsable in the Optimize node.
The documentation simply states the following:
Font Substitution Configuration File: Defines the pdfToolbox configuration file that will be used when embedding fonts. This configuration file controls font substitution behavior in Optimize. Fonts are embedded as subsets. Fonts are not embedded if they have a flag indicating that embedding is not allowed.
What does this function allow me to do, and is there a sample availabe that I can see how it is configured?
Is it necessary to use the "Embed Fonts if Needed" in the optimize setup?

FIDCC1 Validations / Substitutions and flat files?

I am investigating the potential for two different types of functionality from using the FIDCC1 IDOC for transferring financial postings between two separate SAP FICO systems. My understanding at this point in time is that this IDOC won't perform any of custom or standard substitutions or validations of the receiving system. Is this correct? can anyone confirm? Also, I understand that some IDOC will generate a flat file on the receiving system in addition to the posting of data there. Will FIDCC1 do this as well?
My apologies if this information is readily available elsewhere. I need to obtain these answer quickly and find that I can usually get rapid answers from the SAP Development Community.

Ok. That one is nice, especially in terms of defining header and trailer records. I also found this one http://sourceforge.net/projects/flatworm/ which allows for multi-line flat-files, which is also nice.
The problem is both only deal with parsing. Granted, writing a serializer even via reflection would not be all that tough. But a few Dukes for you!

Validation & Method configuration in UCWB

Hi,
I have a method with details like below :
- Type of data stream : Total Records
- Validation Type : Individual Data Rows
The method above is created via : Consolidation Functions --> Validation --> Method, in UCWB.
Under : Consolidation Functions --> Validation --> Task, I have also defined a task and I would like to assign the above method to this task.
My question is why I could not see the above method?
Any comment would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you try to force the assignment of your method to the task by simply entering the technical name and pressing enter and save, you'll have the following message (I did the test) :
Task DDD: Invalid validation type in validation method DDD
Message no. UCUS0026
Diagnosis
When assigning validation methods to validation tasks, you can only use validation methods with validation type data rows netted.
You assigned validation method DDD to validation task DDD; however, this method has a different validation type.
Procedure
Check the method assignments for task DDD.
