I think I have opened the sobig.f virus in my hotmail account and it keeps seding emails to my contacts. How do I stop it, and will it effect any of my other transactions like internet banking/shopping, is it safe To continue using my ipad ?

This isn't due to malware. There is no known malware capable of infecting an iPad that has not been jailbroken (ie, hacked to allow apps from outside the App Store).
As lizdance40 says, your Hotmail account has been hacked remotely. Change the password immediately. Hotmail accounts are popular targets, but as long as you choose a good password, and make sure that password is not the same as a password you use with any other account, you should be safe.
I disagree with lizdance40's statement that you have to abandon the account and create a new e-mail address. If a hacker is able to get back in even after changing the password, the problem is not with the account itself. There's another vulnerability of some kind somewhere. Perhaps the account allows hackers to leave a "back door" to get back in (such as with GMail's delegation feature), in which case any such feature needs to be reviewed and have settings changed. Perhaps you are checking mail in an insecure manner while on an insecure network (ie, a wireless network that requires no password). Perhaps you are using a password on multiple accounts, and a different account has been compromised. Perhaps a hacker has used knowledge gained by prior access to your account to achieve "social hacking" (ie, convincing a tech to give him access because he has "forgotten the password"). There are many scenarios, but there's no good reason to abandon the account entirely.

dec 1st 2010 opening balance was 100,000, in main and sub account, dec 31st closed balance is 50,000 there , that means some invoices was happen. where it will be the affected this sub accout and main bank account

    Hi
The key issue here is when Automatic Bank transfers take place, the salary transfers should be paid to the correct bank account for each employee. The unique identifier is the bank key + bank account number. Therefore, if you have  300000 employees and each employee has an account ina  a different bank, you have no option but to create 300000 bank keys in the database.
Conflicts may very well arise if you assign arbitrary bank keys and if employees dont get paid in time because the amount went into a wrong bank account, you may well run into industrial relations issues.
In the UK, US etc, there is a central database of bank keys which is available as a commercial product and most companies purchase this in DVD format and upload the whole thing in the bank tables in FI. on an ongoing basis, if new branches crop up, they are manually updated from time to time.
    Some posssible sources:-
    1) Check if you can get a similar product in India, There used to be websites like indiainfoline.com which could provide this information for a fee.
    2) Surely your FI department would have a list, as they must have been paying employees through Bank transfer before SAP was implemented.
    3) The existing HR system surely must have a list of employees bank accounts along with Bank keys.
Bottom line, don't assume what the bank keys can be - try and ensure the correct bank key is used for each employee.

  • ACH payment method US- Value date in DME

    Hi,
We are using ACH payment method. After the payment program is executed, through Environment>payment mediumDME administration, we download the txt file which is sent to the bank. In this file format, apart from the date in the header record, we find another date with record type 5 positioned at 70-75.
From which table and field this  value is being populated? Also, if we need to change this date to the next day ( i.e. payment program is executed today, but this date should be the next day).
I did configuration in FBZP - value date ( put the days as 1); and also in SPRO: Define value date rules for bank transactions and assigned the payment method to bank transaction.
Despite all this; I do not see that the date in the DME file is not getting changed (position 70-75). I see that value date in REGUH table is changed to the next day.
    So my questions are:
From which table this date is getting populated?
How to change this date to the next date?
Do we need to use any user exit? If so which one ?
Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.
    thanks

  • Asset Value Date Exit and Enhancement

    Hi,
We have a requirement from customer, that the asset value date in ANY asset posting transaction cannot be less than or equal to 30.06.2014 it should always be 01.07.2014 or higher.
So, please let me know if there is any User Exit which can be used to restrict the Asset Value Date. If yes, then will this User Exit work for all transaction codes, or we need to write different logic for every transaction code.
    Please advise.
    Regards,
    Devdatth

    Hi,
To transfer one asset to another asset within a company code can be done through ABUMN only.
While doing this transfer you have enter the document date, posting date, and value date for the transaction, but all these dates should be in same fiscal year only.
In your case you must have been entered the dates for asset value date and posting date , and these two dates are in diff financial years.
Please make sure that both the dates are in same FY.
Hope this will fix your issue.
    Thanks,
    Srinu

  • FA-retirement-Asset value date and posting date are not in same fisc year

    Hello,
I would like to post retirement in the new fiscal year but with asset value date in the previous year so that NBV is calculated correctly. It is not possible neither in ABAON nor in ABAVN with any transaction type.
I always get message 'Asset value date and posting date are not in same fiscal year'.
Is there any way how to handle this?
    Thank you,
    Jan

    Hi,
I have tried this but the settings of our Depr keys works in the way. That if you use asset value date in the new month it will calculate depreciation for the whole month.
This means if I retire with asset value date 31.12.2008 - NBV will be calculated as at 31.12.2008.
If I retire with asset value date 1.1.2008 - NBV will be calculated as at 31.1.2009.
    Thank you anyway!

  • Material with PPM allow the date change

    Hi Experts,
I have a issue regarding the date change in process order which is effected by the APO scheduling dates.
Now i have observed that materials having PPM are not allowing me to change the dates even if i try manually.
But Materials without it are easyily taking the dates in changed mode.
My requirement is to change the date manually and APO should not effect the dates later on.
Any timely suggestion will be rewarded .

  • Value Date

In FBZP, I can see value date defined (by days) by paying company code, payment method and house bank. But if the value date is not define in FBZP's Value Date, where else (configuration from other places?)  the system determine the value date from? Because some paying company code in our system the value date in not defined in FBZP, but the payment run still can proceed. Please advice.

    Hi,
You are correct. There are different nodes in SPRO where you can define Value dates for the Payment run.
    1. First is FBZP
    2. SPRO>Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable>Business Transactions>Outgoing Payments>Automatic Outgoing Payments>Payment Method/Bank Selection for Payment Program>Define Value Date Rules
    Table T012A & Table T012C
    3. Bank Accounting>Business Transactions>Payment Transactions>Payment Handling>Value date>Define Diff. in Days Betw. Value Date of House/Partner Bank>Define Number of Days Between Payment Run Date and Value Date at House Bank> Table TBKPV & TBKFK
    Hope this helps..

  • Thin & Thick Client - Update UI on a data change in server.

    Hello friends -
I need to develop a application. It has both Thin(Web) & Thick client(Swing/SWT). Both clients display some table information. Table information is collected from many different datasources.
Problem: How to update both Thin & Thick clients on a data updation. There might be 10K+ users accessing the server for this table information, either through Web browser or Java thick client (Swing/SWT). And every sec, data is updated in the database (there will be atleast 100 messages /sec updating the datasources). Web clients need to poll to get the update. And Thick clients need to be notified of data change by the server.
Is there any (open source) framework available to achieve this. I have some thoughts for this, but would like to know is there is any proven architecture available for this kind of problem.
    Thanks.

Those update rates are pretty low for a typical JMS system, so you should be fine with most decent JMS providers.
For the thing clients you could consider using Ajax to avoid unnecessary database polling by large numbers of clients...

There is a checkbox in the FP-Explorer but I cant find a configuration menu in FP-Explorer to set the threshold value at which the data will be send. The FP-1600 modules automatically send data on-change only. The change threshold is by default 0%. Any change, even a single least significant bit change, is sent back to the computer. If the FP-1600 firmware revision supports deadbanding (firmware revision 3.0.x and later, can be downloaded from ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/fieldpoint/Update/FPEthernet0320.zip ). Then on each analog channel or count channel you can specify a percentage change for deadbanding in FieldPoint Explorer. This is done on a channel by channel basis, by right-clicking on the particular IO module and choosing Edit this Device, then choosing Channel Configuration. Each channel (if it supports deadbanding) will have a deadband entry box on the middle right side of the screen).

  • If i change value date what is the implications, (urgent)

normallye bank entry needs a 'Value Date'. Can this value date be defaulted to the posting date? Could another option be to make it non-mandatory - if this is the case, are there any implications of not entering a value date?
thanks in advance and value points are assigned
    regards
    Sunitha Reddy

    Hi,
Value date is the date on which bank will make the payment. This is used in liquidity forecasting.
generally the posting date will be the value date unless otherwise specified.
for check deposits you can set the value dates by defining rules ( goto spro>bankactng>business tran>check deposit)
For APP we set the valude dates in T.code OBVCU
we can make it non-mandaoty by changing the field status group of the respective GL account.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to change value date from posting date to net due date

    Hi Gurus,
My client wants to change value date from posting date to net due date. currently posting date is considered as value date but in future client wants to change value date to net due date of documents.
    1. what configurations need to be maintained to change value date from posting date to net due date.
    2. Will these changes effect automatic payment run.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Suresh

    Hi Suresh,
    In Future
While posting the documents you can mention the value date as due date of the documents.
    For already posted documents
You can change the value date to net due date.
If the value date is display mode i.e. if you are not able to change the value date in FB02 (Document Change Mode), use OB32 transaction and make value date field as eidtable (BSEG-VALUT).
In OB32 transaction enter all the required fields like Account type, transaction type, company code and finally activate the Field can be changed check box.
But not sure, whether we can change the value date to previous date or not?
    This would help you..
