Valuation Class according to Material Master but not Plant wise

Hi,
Is there way to find out the Valuation Class according to Material Master but not Plant wise...
Plant wise, we can get into MBEW table, but I want to find valuation class directly...
Plz guide..

I need to change Valuation class against material number...
We have 18 plant in our company and more than 2,50,000 material's.
Which one easy task for change in material master, either 2,50,000 material's or 2,50,000 X 18 (45,00,000) material list.
If I go with plant wise, we need to change 18 times...also this is time consuming process... As I know in all Plant's, valuation class must be same...
please guide...

in daily practice user convert unrestricted stock to project stock with 412 Q mvt type before MRP RUN.
but for some when user try to convert stock following error occurs. I check stock available, it is available. but i do not understand why this error comes.

Diagnosis
The system found that you have defined your own valuation classes for sales order stock and project stock in Customizing. However, these valuation classes have not been maintained in the material master record for the materials concerned.
Procedure
So that the relevant accounts can be posted upon goods movements, you have to maintain the valuation classes for sales order and project stock in the accounting view of the material master record for the material concerned.
If you have authorization to do so, you can change the material master record.

The normal valuation stock refer to relevant table valuation class field MBEW/MBEWH-BKLAS
Special Sales Stock refert to MBEW/MBEWH-EKLAS
Projeck Stock refer to MBEW/MBEWH-QKLAS

generally 7920 - will be the valuation class for the finished goods.
Allows the stock values of materials of the same material type to be posted to different G/L accounts & vice versa.
this is an integration field which identifies the G/L accounts & goods movement types.

Split GR/IR accounts by Valuation Class (PO without material master)

Hi Experts,
I've an issue here, when I'm tried to do GR posting (PO without material master), system doesnt able to post GRIR account by valuation class.
Scenario: PO issue without masterial number, enter description and with material group.
In the configuration, I've configure "Entry aids for item without material master", assign material group "Asset" and material group "Services" into 2 different clearing account. However, when GR posting, system prompt error message and not able to do posting.
Kindly advice.

Yes , you can post to different GR/IR accounts based on the valuation class . In OBYC for WRX , you can choose your rules . In the Rules , select valuation class . Then the system will allow you to choose different GR/IR accounts for each valuation class .
During the GR , the system will pick the corresponding GR/IR account based on the material grp valuation class .

Please check if any open PO for this Material exist, if it is there, delete it and try to change VC.

Assigning valuation class when creating Material

I want assign "3100 -Trading Goods valuation class" to my material which i am creating. in Tr.code MMH1
In the accounting1 view, under the current valuation section, there are no options at all to select valuation class.
please help me figure out how to get the 3100 option into my valuation class.

u need to assign val classes to act cat ref.That act cat ref assign to mat type .
then syst automatically will give option of val class when ur creating mat of that mat type.
Log gen->mat master-> basic settings-> def att of mat type
here u assign act cat ref to mat type.
MM-> val & act assign ment -> act detr wth wizard-> def val class
here u assign val classes to act cat ref.

GR slip for PO created in Material document but not printed or in spool

Hello Inventory Management Gurus,
I have a problem printing GR slip onto the printer.
I am able to create the output and can see in the material document but not in the spool or printer.
I configured GR slip printing in OMJ4, created condition record in MN21 configured in NACE etc., for the output type.
What is preventing from printing or appearing in the spool if it created the output in material document?
I have the setting "print immediately" enabled and "release after output" unchecked in OMJ4.
What is missing?

Output for GR is Printed through T-code 'MB90".
Note - in GRN Individual /Collective Slip and Print indicator should be selected.
Enter the GRN No,Select the Output type and Execute.

Profit center in material master is not in MARC table

We have maintained profit center in Material master costing 1 screen but when I am checking it in MARC table I am not able to see profit center in MARC Table.
Please tell me in which table this profit center data will sit.

The field name of profit center in table MARC is MARC-PRCTR, maybe you should increase the width of output list in the selection screen when you use data browser of table; or from menu Settings>List Format>Choose Fields, then select field PRCTR to display, that will be okay!

Multiple class types for material master classification display default.

Hello,
We are running on R/3 4.7. We use several different class types for our material masters (001 and Z01). The problem this creates is the end user having to constantly tell the system which class type to use when going to the classification screen for different materials with different class types. If a user views one material's classification page with a particular class type (001) then looks at another material with a different class type (Z01) the system tries to pull in information from the last materials class type (001). The system tells the user there are no assignments for the class (001) in the material their viewing but there is one for class type (Z01). The user then has to select the class type that applies to the material master their trying to view. Is there a way for the system to automatically see when a material has only one class type assigned to it for it to automatically default it in without the user having to specify the class type?

Check the configuration, have you maintained default class type for material type.
Logistic General> Material Master> Basic Setting> Material Type> Define attributes of Material Types>Select the material type> Double click on material type--> Class type

Error when replicating material master - Value not permitted for PO Unit

I am having the following issue. I am trying to replicate material master from ECC 6.0 to CRM 5.0, but I am getting an error to which I am not being able to find the solution:
Value GFO is not permitted for attribute Purchase Order Unit
    Message no. COM_PRCAT020
Diagnosis
    You want to specify that the value GFO is allowed for the attribute Purchase Order Unit. However, in attribute maintenance or in the
    higher-level category ('parent category'), you specified that the value GFO is not allowed for this attribute.
I tried to find where to edit this attribute in Customizing, and also in tcode COMM_ATTRSET, but I have no idea if this was the right direction.
Has anyone faced this issue before? I would really appreciate any help, since this is preventing me from completing material replication.

I checked the attribute in COMM_ATTRSET, but there aren't any specific values for it. There is a value table T006, which I believe is standard, and it contains UoM GFO.
With this being the case, the error I'm getting makes even less sense to me...
Can you tell me if in there is any other place in CRM where we can set UoM?

Material master delta not getting activated

Hi all,
We are using "0material_attr" as data source.Till now we were loading data for material using full update mode.
Now we want to change the update mode from delta update mode.
So we initialized update for material in BW using " initialize without data transfer " update mode. Now for testing i have changed couple of material in R/3 ... but nothing is getting extracted in BW.
then i checked in R/3 in "rsa6" there is tick for delta update and then i checked in rsa3 there its not allowing me to change from "F" to "D".
So how to proceed if i want move from full to delta for my material master data ??

Hi,
Have you replicated the data source 0MATERIAL_ATTR to BW after making it delta enabled in R3 system? Try replicating the data source and activating the transfer structure. Remember to remove the delta initialization flag in your info package before doing this. After replication, try for a normal delta initialization.
