Hi,
To begin with:
We need atleast 4 Value categories:
1. Tcode: OPI1
Maintain 4 value categories e.g. 1300,1301,1302,400 and 410
For 1300, 1301, 1302 Select statistical key figure with total values.
For 400 select Costs.
For 410 Select Revenues.
2. Tcode KAH2: Create Cost element Groups.
e.g PSCost: assigne all the cost relvent cost elements to this group
PSREV: Assign all the revenue relevent cost elements to this group (Cost element category:11)
Step:3 Tcode:OPI2.
Assign PScost to 400
Assigne PSRev to 410
3. Tcode CJVC, Check consistency for the value categoy assignments
4.Tcode KK01: Create statistical Key figure. e.g 10, 20,30 for the Controlling area.
5. Tcode OPI5:
Assign these 10,20,30 to 1300,1301,1302 respectively.

Value category wise budget and actuals display in S_ALR_87013558 report

Hello PS consultants,
There is a requirement in my project, where the business users want to see the report on hard budgeted cost element group , soft budgeted cost element group and total in different rows. In my project, there is one value category which has been made exempt from availabilty control(for repairable spares) and there are others which are under availability control. Also, the business wants to see all the columns as per S_ALR_87013558 report in the new report per the 2 categories of cost element group and total (but the budgeting here is done as per the WBS level, so how to satisfy this need also). The S_ALR_87013558 report gives the various value categories, but only assigned values against it(as budget is not against cost element). Also, in this report , it is not possibel to exclude one value category to see only the hard budgeted cost element group.

But my requirement is to exclude one particular value category, as it is not possible to include all the value categories in the report as there are large number of value categories. Is there any way to exclude one value category?

But if I suppress the value category , then it will be suppressed from the central level in PS and hence, it will not be included in any calculations in any of the standard report. Is there any way to suppress one value category from only one report, without affecting other reports?

I have an urgent requirement where I have to pass values to custom headers of HTTP url through HTTP bindings in bPEL.
Is it possible? Say I have a http url http://localhost:80/test.
I need to post xml over the above HTTP url as well pass some values to the Custom Headers Variables.
Can I achieve this functionality thorugh BPEL or not?

Setting default property value in custom componenty

I'm a Flash newbie trying to build a custom component using
Flash MX 2004. basically it's an enhanced version of the standard
label component. Everything seems to work fine except when trying
to set default text or assigning a text value in the "properties"
window (the field displays in the properties window, but any value
typed into it does not appear during movie playback). Currently,
the text can be seen only in authoring mode, not when the movie
plays. The only way for the text to displayed during playback is to
set it up through code. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? .as

Negative values on customer consignment stock

Hello,
Is it possible to have negative values on customer consignment stock?
i.e. the same material is sent to a customer, as consignment stock
(special stock W), from different plants. If the material is not used
by the customer (then it has not been billed, as it is on consignment),
the customer can return all that stock to only one plant. This means
that the overall stock for that material on customer consignment will
be cero, but the standard SAP does not allow to return to one plant
more quantity than what it was originally sent from that plant.
Is there a possible workaround to this situation?

maybe that you sold more pieces than you had, and the material master allows negative stock on the plant/storage location.

Read TPIK3 in an internal table, then search COEP-KSTAR in this table, with KSTAR between TPIK3-KSTRF and TPIK3-KSTRT, and other keys like Controlling Area and application/component (eg "PS" in project-system as in CJVC or "PM" in Maintenance as in IW33, multiple application use this table). You can also use a FM like PS_FIND_ACPOS_FOR_KSTAR.

Retrieve a list of different values of custom metadata field of an UCM connection

I am planning to create a custom search document functionality for my UCM and Portal integration. Basically, I am planing to create CMIS queries dynamically. In order to create the CMIS query, I need the possible values of custom metadata for the user to select from and through a backing bean construct the cmis query based on this selection.
I have created a custom metadata field (lets say, 'KindOf'). So I want to show the user a list of all possible 'KindOf' values, so user selects the values he wants and I use those values to build the cmis query and show the results.
What is the easiest, best practices, how would you do it, way of achieving this?
I have little experience with UCM.

As rightly pointed out by jiri machotka, you want that option list .
if you create a option list metadata, you have to publish schema to get the values. You can do it by two ways:
1) Wait for the event which publish the schema automatically.
2)Select "Publish schema" in the options menu of the Configuration Manager.

Otherwise if you want faceted search or something near to enterprise searching capabilities, then go for enterprise search engines.

SDK: adding new value in custom fields

I wanted to add new value in custom field of the resource table... I used this code (taken from SDK example) :

But get a validation error, complaining about no ModifiedDateTime providen... How can I initialize this date or avoid the validation ?

I'm using ME 5.2.2.2, sdk 5.0.1.8, for the moment locally on my laptop for development.
There is no stack trace, I can just see the error when debugging :
com.sap.me.frame.domain.RequiredValueValidationException: class com.sap.me.domain.model.CustomFieldDOmodifiedDateTime
The resource exist, I do a read request before to check if the custom field has value or not. Anyway, it's a collaboration plug-in, executed when we change the resource status, so I got the resource handle as input ;o)
I can confirm there are some resource with custom value in other fields with date = null. It occurs when I'm saving the data in the GUI (so entering data's manually in custom field, do a save => fields are not initialized)

If you use 'Z' HR Report category for Payroll cluster , Just edit the report category and select the fileds which are the things you need...Please find pasted the screen shot
Please check the check box which are the fields you want in the selection screen.... or copy a standard report category into 'Z' and do the changes...

How To dynamically change values in custom form

Hi,
Requirement is to change values in custom form dynamically that are passed by Global variables through standard form .
I have used forms personalization to call custom form and passing some parameters to custom form using global variables.
Now i have to change values displayed in custom form(already opened) when user moves from one record to another record.
I cannot change the standard form.Only i have write logic in custom form that dynamically changes values as user moves from one record to another in standard form.
Global variables values will be different for each record.
Pls let me know how i can achieve this.
