Value contract with multiple P.Rs

Dear Gurus
Please suggest
I need to create value contract for  1200 corode, with reference to P.R.  Here i am unable to create P.R for the same amount because system not allowing me to enter more than 10 digits,
i was trying to create multiple line items with same material code that also not allowing.
finally i decided to create multiple P.Rs, each P.R for 99 corode.
Is there any provision to adopt multiple P.Rs for Value contract, otherwise please suggest any other way.
Best regards

  • Service contract with multiple validity period

    Hi,
I am having a requirement where i need to create service contracts with multiple validities.
some contracts may have 1 year validity, some six months.
I already have a transaction type for contract which is having 1 year validity period assigned in its date profile.
can i use the same transaction to create contracts for 6 months???
    Regards,
    PePe

    Hi,
Yes you can use the same transaction type for the other validity period. What you can do is when you create a service contract, it will automatically pick up the 1 year duration since you have defined that way. But you can write some enhancement in ORDER_SAVE Badi.
First you create a Z table and maintain the different durations (say based on your item) in a Z table.
    For example,
    item    duration(months)
    100       6
    200       12
    300       18
    400       24
So at the time of saving the contract, your Badi implementation will be triggered and there you can pick up relevant duration (say 6 months) based on the item entered in your contract. And once you get the duration, you can change the Contract End date accordingly and then it will be saved. This way you can get the Contract duration as per your requirement.
    Hope it HELPS...

  • Error creating a contract with multiple account assignments

    Hallo,
I have created a PO agreement with a single account assignment on tr - ME31K.
If I open this agreement and open the account assignments for an item I'm able to press the "Change display" button. In the screen which is showed I'm able to set the distribution to set the distribution to 1 - Distribution on quantity basis. If I do so I get the following error message: " Enter Acc. ***. Block". The only thing I could do is set this indicator!. But when I set this indicator this indicator is resettled and the message appears again.
The thing I want to do is that it is possible to create a contract whit multiple account assignments.
Could any one say what is missing or what is wrong?
My SAP version is 47x110 SR1.
    Kind regards,

    Rahul,
The reason why I created a contract with a single Account Assignment is that it was not possible to save the document.
So I created a document for my example and want to change it to a multiple Account assignment. So I did the steps as described.
After adding a extra account line and pressing Enter I get the error message as described: "Enter Acc. ***. Block".
There must be a setting wring in the IMG but I don't know which one?
I have looked ad transaction "OME9" but couldn't see the cause.

  • Service Contract with Multiple Prices

    Dear Experts,
We are using a periodic billing plan for our  service contracts and have an issue regarding pricing. The billing docs are created directly from the contracts using the billing plan. The contracts are multi-year contracts where billing to the customer is done, say @ price1 for year 1, @ price2 for year 2, and so on.. Even though we have maintained price condition PPSV for each of the years,we are still getting only one price(the current price) in the billing plan in the contract. Is it possible to get a billing plan in the service contract to appear as follows:
    Year 1 - Price 1
    Year 2 - Price 2
    Year 3 - Price 3
We are  aware that the system will pick up the correct billing price/amount in the billing doc based on the validity of the pricing condition(PPSV) and using suitable copy controls between contract-->billing doc, but is there a way to get the billing plan appear with multiple billing prices/amounts for each year of the contract?
    We would appreciate your inputs.
    Many thanks.

    Shareeq

For example - I want to enter into a contract with a customer for amount £10000 for a period 1 year let's say for Any Electrical equipements.
and with reference to this contract I want to release 5-10 materails which I am not sure any material which will be required by customer.
The reference should be made with this contract and values from release order billed to customer needs to be updated to the contract
    - The requirement is that a dummy material is entered at contract with certain amount in place of actual consumable materials in release order.
    Kindly help
    Thanks & best regards
    Atree

    Hi Atree,
it is not necessary a dummy material
use assortment module WS01 for the list of materials you need in contract and add the assortment to the contract

  • Report for Qty Contract and Value Contract with PO release exceeding limits

    Hi All,
Is there a std report in SAP that the users can use to view Qty and Val Contracts that has exceed in Qty (in case of Qty Contracts) or Val (in case of Val Contracts) ?
    Thanks in advance!

    hi Duke,
If thinking logically, then there is no report for the same..this may be because you enter the qty or value limits in the contract doc itself....So, when you make the PO for the same, and if the qty or value exceeds the system automatically provides the message..stating that the qty or value has exceeded....
So, there is no report for the same...
    Hope it helps...

  • Assign Source of supply is not working for contract with material group

    Dear Experts,
I have searched all the threads and gone through before posting my query. So i would ask moderators to go through the thread properly before rejecting this.
We have value contracts with respect to a particular material group without material and with item category W in the contract item, Please note that for the materials with this material group, the source determination is not set and source list is also not maintained.
When we create PR for the material with this contract, and when we click on assign source of supply contracts used to get popped up, but recently from few days, when we click on assign source of supply we are getting an error " no source found for this item ".
    Can anybody help on this.
    Regards

    @ Biju,
As mentioned earlier, we are not creating PR with reference to contract.
first we are creating contract with item category W (material group), without material and plant details.
we create PR with or without material with account assignment K and with the material group in the transaction ME51N, and after inputting all the fields, we click on assign source of supply, it was proposing the existing contracts with respect to material group earlier, but it is not happening for particular material group(it is working for all other material groups)
    Hope it is clear.
    @ Dev Patra,
we are using DIEN-Service material types and we assign that particular material group to only service material type.
we have not ticked, source list in the material master, we donot have any source list for the materials under that material group.( please check the note 457110- question number 14.)

  • How to include the promotion and sales deal in the value contract ?

Question : Can a value contract contain other special pricing agreement ?
If yes, how to include the promotion and sales deal in the value contract ?
    Thanks for your input.
    Oscar

    Hi Oscar,
I have not worked on this aspect as such but once you create a value contract I think you as well create a promotion and sales deal for the customer with whom you have value contract with in the validity period of the contract and system should pick up data accordingly as the customer is same (Contract) and is within the validity period.
    Pl give feed back.

  • Value Contracts question

    Hello All,
We want to use Value Contracts in our organization. I was testing
release orders created with reference to the value contract.
If I create sales order 1 with reference to the value contract, the
system updates the 'value released' of the value contract with the sales
order 1 value. However, at times, we have a requirement to create sales
order 2 with reference to sales order 1. In this case, the 'value
released' amount in the value contract should be increased by the sales
    order 2 amount.
Also in certain cases (like consignments), the subsequent sales order
values might be a credit. In this case, the 'value released' in the
value contract should also be credited accordingly.
Currently, in both cases, when subsequent sales orders are created, the
'value released' in the value contract is unchanged.
Can someone please tell me if a value contract can be made to look at
all subsequent orders to update its 'value released'? If yes, could you
    please tell me how?
    Thanks,
    Rugmani

    Thank you for your response.
Such a  requirement arises in case of Consignments. We are using consignment orders (fillup, pickup, issue, return) for the customer. Hence, we create a consignment fillup order when we are sending out a material. If the customer returns the old material within a specified time, he should not be charged for it. Else, he would be charged and in this case, a consignment issue needs to be created. If, in special cases, we decide to accept the old material (beyond the warranty return period), a Consignment return will be created to credit the customer.
When the value contract comes in play, we need to deduct the value remaining for the customer when we create a pickup, increase the value remaining when the customer returns the material etc. The problem occurs when the amount needs to be put back. As the consignment orders need to be created with reference to one another, there is no link to the value contract and hence the value remaining does not get updated correctly.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions for this requirement.
    Thanks,
    Rugmani

  • How to create release order for value contract?

    Assortment Module for Value Contracts
This function enables you to define a list of materials that can be released from a value contract. Materials can be assigned to more than one assortment module.
An assortment module is an entry tool and can be called up from the value contract. It is valid for a certain time period.
If you delete a material from the assortment module, to which a value contract refers, you will be unable to release that material.
In the value contract, only materials with the same sales organization and distribution channel as the value contract can be taken from the assortment module. All the other materials in the assortment module are not displayed in the value contract.
To fulfill both these requirements, two types of value contracts are offered in the standard system:
    Value contract type WK 1
You can specify a product hierarchy or a assortment module for value contracts with contract type WK 1. The system will always propose this type of contract, if you want to create a contract for several materials or a certain group of materials. All the materials in the relevant assortment, or belonging to the specified product hierarchy are then relevant for release.
Value contract type WK 2 (material-related)
You can create contracts for one material (usually configurable) with this type of value contract. A software company is an example of where this kind of contract is often used. There, a contract for the value of $500,000 is made with the customer for one specific software product.
You can also agree on the length of the contract for this type. The contract duration can be agreed at item level and can be different from the contract duration specified at header level.
You can store special price agreements for the value contract. These price agreements can then be used at any level. For example, a value contract can contain prices for individual materials, or discounts that are valid for every released material.
    Release Orders
The customer fulfills a contract by issuing orders against the contract. The contract does not contain any exact dates for deliveries, so you need to create a sales order to release against a value contract.
When a release order is created for the contract, the system automatically updates the released values in the contract. The release order value is calculated from the total of the open order and delivery values, plus the value that has already been billed to the value contract.
The system also updates the released value for subsequent changes (for example, overdelivery of contract release, price changes in the billing document, partial deliveries, returns, rejection of order items, cancellation or reversal of orders, deliveries or billing documents).
You can create a release order in any currency. The system automatically converts this currency into the one agreed upon in the value contract on the pricing date for the contract release order.
Creating Assortment Modules for Value Contracts
    Procedure
To create an assortment module, proceed as follows:
    1. From the initial screen choose Logistics >Sales and Distribution >Master data.
    2.Choose Products >Value contract - Assortment module > Create.
You will then be in the Create assortment module: Initial Screen.
Module type 6 is defined for the value contract.
    3. For external number assignment, enter a module number.
You can then use existing modules as a reference by entering the name of the module under reference.
    4. Choose Enter.
    5. Enter a short description for the module.
    6. Enter a validity period for the product proposal.
During a release, the system checks if the release date lies within the validity period.
    7. Create the materials that you wish to assign as items to a module.
You can display a list of materials as a product proposal, which you can then copy into the assortment module. To do this, choose Suggest material, enter the selection criteria in the subsequent screen and copy the selected materials to the items. Use Edit > Delete item to delete the materials that you do not want to copy to the assortment module.
    8.Save your entries.
Also Please check the copy control in VTAA

yes, that is the problem, while creating PO system is troughing the error. thats why user is asking why PR is picking a contract which is expired!
creating PR manually. and user is having a bunch to perform such job so he can't check each PR for correct contract. and even it is not logical for system front to copy an expired contract.
2ndly one more questin, incase thr are 2 valid conact avaliable in system then while creating PR which contract system must pick

  • DP90 from service order, and value contract (Resource related billling - DIP Profile)

    Hi all, I've this issue:
I have created a value contract with an only position, dummy service material (DIEN) via VA41. Then, I've created a service orden with IW31, related it with sales document (position 10 of mentioned value contract). I've did confirmations for several opertations from the order (an operation --> an activity type). In a zeta DIP profile I've link activity tipes with anothers DIEN material. This DIP profile is in orden.
I can create sales order with DP90, everything ok! But... value released has not been actualized in value contract...
I found this note, number 1176009, "Value contract FAQs", and say it:
Question: Does the value contract scenario support documents that were
created using resource-related billing (for example, DP90, DP91, DP..)?
Answer: No, this function is not supported in the standard system and
results in update terminations in the statistic.
    Which is the solution?
    Thanks on advance.

Well, I think I find the solution. I did it with BADI BADI_SD_V46H0001, method EXIT_SAPLV46H_001, and this code:
    METHOD if_ex_badi_sd_v46h0001~exit_saplv46h_001.
         c_vbapkom-wktnr = c_vbapkom-vgbel.
         c_vbapkom-wktps = c_vbapkom-vgpos.
    ENDMETHOD.
    I'm testing, but it's working.
