Value Help in Interactive Adobe Form in Web Dynpro

I have to provide a value help for certain Fields in Interactive Adobe Form using Web Dynpro ABAP. I have managed to get the Value Help Popup for the fields using Java Script in Adobe, but the problem is that whenever I select the Value from the Value Help, the selected value in not getting populated in the field....
Please let me know the solution in case any one of you come across such kind of requirement.

Submit button from Interactive adobe form in Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi all,
We seem to be having a problem with the 'submit' button on the Interactive Form for the Web Dynpro ABAP. The submit button is from the Web Dynpro active X or web Dynpro Native in the form designer. The submit button doesn't trigger the action in Web Dynpro. we are currently running on support pack 9 for the ABAP stack. We have Internet Explorer browser version 6. Could someone tell me if there are requirements for the IE version that will work in conjunction with a particular ABAP stack version. And, are there specific IE security settings or administrative privilages required with this version of the ABAP stack. Or, any other ideas as to why this does not seem to work.

Can anybody tell me the example of Interactive ADOBE form usin web dynpro in ABAP? I am getting stucked at mapping between the two contexts. PLease guide me. And also the next step for Interactive form. After mapping betwwen form and web dynpro context.

Calling adobe form from Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi Friends,
This is the following error, which i got when i tested my application. Calling adobe form from Web Dynpro ABAP.
WebDynpro Exception: ADS: Request start time: Tue Nov 16 14:00:22 YEKT

Making selective fields editable in adobe form [using web dynpro]

Hi,
I have displayed an adobe form using web dynpro application. But I have to make certain fields (not all fields) on this adobe form editable. I dont want to make this adobe form interactive because I dont have to save any data in database. The data entered in the editable fields will be saved as a pdf.
What I did so far:
1) The fields which I want as editable, I have given there type as "User entered/ optional" & for rest of the fields I have given type as "Read only".
2) In web dynpro, I have enabled the adobe
3) This is not making the fields editable.
4) If I write the following code in my webdynpro method WDDOMODIFYVIEW, then my data coming from adobe is not getting displayed even though the fields get selectively editable.
*data: LR_INTERACTIVE_FORM type ref to CL_WD_INTERACTIVE_FORM,
*LR_METHOD_HANDLER type ref to IF_WD_IACTIVE_FORM_METHOD_HNDL.

*LR_INTERACTIVE_FORM ?= VIEW->GET_ELEMENT('adobe').
*LR_METHOD_HANDLER ?= LR_INTERACTIVE_FORM->_METHOD_HANDLER.
*LR_METHOD_HANDLER->SET_LEGACY_EDITING_ENABLED( abap_true ).
So I kept this code & I also kept the Interface type "ABAP Dictionary based".
Additionally in Webdynpro, I used adobe form generated FM to get the adobe content & passed it to the "content" parameter of my adobe component in webdynpro.

Error when using Adobe form in Web Dynpro..

I created an adobe form and gave the form name in template source property of interactive form in web dynpro component.The context node used in that form is automatically created. I pass value to that node using set_static_attributes. When I run the application I am getting an error msg 'Node <node name> does not contain any elements'.Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?

Data node mapped to Adobe Form empty - Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi,
I've created a web dynpro component in ABAP. One of the view contains an interactive Adobe form.
Form properties : Data source and pdf source are mapped
Enabled checked
Submit action mapped to a method. This method reads the node mapped to the form.
Form Layout: Used ZCI Layout and Inserted web dynpro script (XML interface)
Dragged attributes from data view to create text fields.
Submit button used from Web dynpro native group
I could not read data from the form.
When I submit the form, data is not captured in the context.
I have used the same context for view and could save the data from the view. But from the adobe form, I cannot read the data.
Is there anything I missed. I have been on this since 2 days with no solution. I dont see any mistake but the form doesnt work.
Version: Adobe Designer : 8.1 (from market place)
SAP Netweaver 2004s SP18
Any help on this is appreciated.
P.S. Used all possible help from SDN existing posts and SAP notes.

place a button on webdynpro view it self then try.
make sure your form is working in interactive mode.
else keep this conde in modifyview method.

Adobe forms are advanced to smartforms and scripts.
Adobe forms are much easier than smartforms they are online forms.
they can be developed online.
Adobe forms : This is another SAP tool designed to create your own forms. The transaction for this is SFP.
How to use them: You can create a sales order form in adobe form and send to the sales reps. Sales reps can fill this form when they are not connected to internet / SAP system. Once they connect to SAP just send an e-mail to a specific user id in outlook. You got to customize and code how do you want to process once you receive this form. This enables you to create orders even when you are not connected to the system. Hence no data loss. This is not how i used though :-). This is just my idea.
What is the difference between Adobe forms and smart forms / scripts.
Smart forms / scripts are used to show the data in SAP. Most likely you will use these to print / display some kind of reciepts / forms. Many companies must be using this for hard copies / ALE / EDI or to transfer data from SAP to others.
Adobe forms are used to post data into SAP from SAP too. So this has an additional feature compared to smartforms.

Problem with Table display in Adobe Form of Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi Team,
I'm trying to display a table in Adobe Print Form (not interactive). The table is bound to the context node in the Web Dynpro ABAP where the cardinality is 0:N. I get a short dump. Don't know what to do here. I'm able to display individual fields from my context successfully. Looks like something is missing when I try to display a table. Any pointers to display a data table in Adobe? Any step by step example you know of where I can find out what I did wrong? Many thanks for your time

We upgraded our system(2004S) to SP10 so that we can use the ADOBE form printing in Web Dynpro ABAP but could not apply note 1034425 because of the validity constraints in SNOTE. All the pre-requisite notes are already in the system apart from one note 1029721 which talks about supporting input helps. We don't want to use input helps in our system and cannot upgrade to SP11 because of problems with Business functionality.
Questions:
1) Is note 1034425 absolutely dependent on 1029721?
2) If NOT, can someone please correct the validity so that we can implement using SNOTE.
3) Would it be OK if we manually apply the changes specified in 1034425 without implementing 1029721?
4) If all of the above is not applicable, is there any other note which fixes the above mentioned short dump.
Your help in this matter will greatly help us in using the ADOBE services provided by SAP WDA.

Problem with table in Adobe Form in Web Dynpro JAVA??

Hello all,
I have an issue with the table displaying all the node values in the Adove Form. Right now it displays only the first element of the Node even if there are multiple entries.
Not sure what is going wrong here.
How is the table created in a interactive form? Any help is appreciated.

I referred to the website, but still having issues with generating tables in Adobe Form. I can get all the table rows in the adove form, but the pdf doee not add new pages to display all the table rows. It just createa one page with the table inside it, display few of the rows and truncates rest of the table data.
Here is the heirarchy of the page with the properties set
Master Pages ---
        ||--> Page 1
                 ||--> content area
                 ||--> subfrom (properties:: Content - Flowed / Flow direction - top to bottom...pagination tab is greayed out completly)
                            ||--> Table
                                      ||--> HeaderRows (Object: Row - Type: Header Row)
                                      ||--> Row1 (Object Tab/Binding: Repeat Row for each data item - checked)
Can't make it wor, not sure what's wrong here
I am using NDS 7.0 SP18 and Adobe LiveCycle 8.0. Does that could be a problem.

I have a req to create a time sheet in web dynpro thru ADOBE.
I created a view and in the view..i used INTERACTIVE FORM UI element and then crated an interface also.
now I am in adobe form.
when I searched the in ADOBE ,i found the TIME SHEET provided by sap.
now i want to make use of that adobe form in my web dynpro component.
my question i s:
how to map the exising ADOBE TIME SHEET fields to my web dynpro component.
do i need to create the nodes and attributes for all the elements in CONTEXT.
PLZ HELP ME.

Drop Downs in adobe forms using Web dynpro ABAP

Hi all,
Im new to this adobe forms using webdynpro abap.
In my requirement i have two drop downs on the form.
by selecting value in one drop down i have to fill corresponding values in the other drop down.
Using only WDA i know how to do this but with adobe i dnt know how and where i have
to catch the drop down value and write my code. please let me know how i can achieve this.
one more thing whatever action or events we are performing on the form where we have to place our code for this?

Language Conversion for Adobe form using Web Dynpro

Gudday.
You can very well view a single adobe form in different languages by maintaining the translations in the desired language using the path
tools->translation->select the language->translate pdf form
on selecting the language,the text will be displayed in source language ....using the menu tabs copy the source text and maintain the texts in the required language.

Validation of Adobe Form from Web Dynpro

Hi, can you please support me with the following problem:
I created an Adobe Form, which contains several mandatory fields. The Submit-button of the form is positioned in the WebDynpro-View, in which the Adobe Form is embedded, but not within the Adobe Form. I choce this way in order to avoid a useless submit button in the Adobe Form for the Offline Scenario.
(How) is it possible to do a validation check in the Adobe Form if all mandatory fields are filled by clicking the Submit button outside the Form?

Hi Thorsten,
That would be done exactly the same as checking mandatory text fields in a standard Web Dynpro application, the fact that you use an interactive form makes no difference. Whether you click on a submit button in the form or a button in the Web Dynpro, the end result is simply that the entered data is transferred to the Web Dynpro context and an action is triggered. In the action (Web Dynpro code) you can check if the data in the context is valid, e.g. mandatory fields or whatever validation you like. However, if you want to do validation in the form itself, so mandatory fields are also checked offline, you have to use scripting in the form itself.
