Hi Gurus,
In my requirement i want to set the data base field VSTAT as 1 in NAST table when the order is processed. I'm using UPDATE statement to update the database field but it does not work. i write the code like this

but it doesn't work fine sy-subrc set to 4. Is there any way to set the value of vstat as 1. Please help me.

same here, you need to write your issue clearly. Why are you trying to update NAST. it contains the output from the transaction, why not letting it processed instead of doing something stupid bu updating in in the code. if you dont weant output to be processed remove the condition record.
You would help yourself if you write the problem yiu are facing more clearly. eg you are writing the code but where? which program ? user exit? how can one imagin what your issue is

I have a sales order and I am generating billing document . for the same billing doument have a script form and conditional records
Please let me know how the NAST table is updated and also how the field nast-vsztp is updated with the conditonal records for the billing documents
if i have the conditional records How nast-vsztp is updated for a billing document .

Hi,
The billing document generated with refrence of credimemo( sales order ) .Unable to put the messages.
I maintained same customer grp3 . what conditional records contain . Still it is taking default value for the ouput type.
Please let me know why the conditional records is not considering at all and why it is not updating NAST-VSZTP.

Copy selected values from a table control into another table control

hi there,
as seen in the subject i need to copy selected values from a table control into another table control in the same screen. as i dont know much about table controls i made 2 table controls with the wizard and started to change the code... right now im totally messed up. nothing works anymore and i don't know where to start over.
i looked up the forums and google, but there is nothing to help me with this problem (or i suck in searching the internet for solutions)
i have 2 buttons. one to push the selected data from the top table control into the bottom tc and the other button is to push selected data from the bottom tc into the top tc. does somebody has a sample code to do this?

How to retrieve 2 values from a table in a LOV

Hi
I'm pretty new to APEX. I try to retrieve two values from a table using a LOV. I have a table named DEBIT with then columns SITE, NAME and KEY
I want to display NAME to the user in a list. When the user select an item from the list, I want to retrieve the data of the SITE and KEY column of this item in order to launch an SQL command based on this two values.
How to retrieve thes two values whant the user chooses an item from the list ?

From what I understood about your requirement, you want a 'select list with submit' which displays "NAME" and based on the value selected, you want to get the corresponding values for "SITE" and "KEY" from the table.
Step 1: Create a select list with submit, say P1_MYSELECT 
Use something like this in the dynamic list of values for the select list: 
SELECT NAME display_value, NAME return_value
FROM DEBIT 
Step 2: Create a page process of type PL/SQL block. Also create 2 hidden items P1_KEY and P1_SITE. 
In the PL/sQL, write something like:
DECLARE
v_key DEBIT.KEY%TYPE;
v_site DEBIT.SITE%TYPE;
CURSOR v_cur_myvals IS
 SELECT KEY, SITE
 FROM DEBIT
 WHERE NAME = :P1_MYSELECT;
BEGIN
OPEN v_cur_myvals;
LOOP
 FETCH v_cur_myvals
 INTO v_key,v_site;
 EXIT WHEN v_cur_myvals%NOTFOUND;
:P1_KEY := v_key;
:P1_SITE := v_site;

Then you can use these values for whatever purpose you need to.

Getting values from a table without any type

Hi,
I am having problem accessing the values of a table which does not have a type. When we go and check the type of the table, it is not mentioned.
While debugging we found that the type of this particular table is deep structure. I tried using ASSIGN COMPONENT using field symbols, but reference is not getting assigned. The sy-subrc becomes 4.
Is there any way to access the data in this table?

It is actually a function module which is having this table in the TABLE declaration.

Diese Tabelle kann mehr Felder beinhalten als letztlich für die Listausgabe (Anzeigefelder u. Feldvorrat) relevant sind.
Nur die im Feldkatalog und ggbf. in der Layoutstruktur genannten Felder werden für die Listausgabe herangezogen. Weitere Felder der internen Tabelle werden ignoriert.
Im Feldkatalog kann dann über die Ausprägung des Feldes FIELDCAT-NO_OUT entschieden werden, ob ein Feld direkt auf der Liste ausgegeben wird oder ob dieses Feld zunächst in den Feldvorrat gestellt wird.
Aus diesem Feldvorrat kann der Benutzer interaktiv die Anzeigefelder der Liste erweitern (und umgekehrt Anzeigefelder ausblenden).
Wird die interne Tabelle im aufrufenden Programm ohne Kopfzeile definiert, so ist auf dem Listenkörper keine F1-Unterstützung möglich.

POPUP FM to get values from a table control?

I know about the FM POPUP_GET_VALUES to get one or more values from a popup dialog box. I would like to find a similar FM that allows getting values from a table control or something that allows entry of multiple lines of values. Is there such a thing, or do I need to write my own?

it depends on what values you want to enter, better write your own to have a control on the function.

Yes i did try the same ..

When i checked the mtest table it shos me the row inserted...
inside foolter .. Now this means everything did get execute properly
But still the vallue of off_city is null or emtpy...
i check the filed and still its empty..
while mtest had those records..seems like some process is cleaining the values...but cant see such process...
a bit confused..here..I tried on Load after footer...
tried chaning the squence number of process ..but still it doesnt help
some how the session variables gets changed...and it is changed to empty

Table to store values from af:table

i have a requirement where in a customer enters data row by row. it is desired that the data should get stored in the database not row by row but only after the client has finished filling all the rows. once the client has pressed the commit or save button, all the rows must get disabled.He or she should not be further able to modify the order details. Could you please suggest a way?
and one more question
can we create a temporary table(or either buffer) which holds the values of another table.so that once the table is committed, the values will go to this temporary table and then go to database.

if you use ADF Business Components then this is handled for you automatically. The only remaining thing to do is
once the client has pressed the commit or save button, all the rows must get disabled
In this case set a EL expression on the readOnly property of the input text field and e.g. check if the primary key field is populated (in this case you return true). The EL can check e.g. #{row.pkAttr.inputValue != null}

How to get input text values from adf table - Urgent

This is my requirement. I designed customized master - detail - detail page. I customized the page in below format.
1. Master Data Field (Input text,etc) .
2. Detail in table format ( Rows are mapped to child table) and i given two buttons for to create row and delete row. I designed the table based on the example provided in forum for to create customized table. The input text component is mapped to the rows.
Now i want to retrieve all the data's entered in the rows. The table is mapped to child table. When i read the values from the table its showing null.
If any one faced this problem and fixed it, please send me the solution.

How to get edited row values from ADF table?

I have a table which is populated with data from Bean.
I need to save changes after user make changes in any table cell. InputText is defined for table column component.
I have defined ValueChangeListener for inputText field and AutoSubmit=true. So when user change value in inputText field, method is called:

This method should call getSelectedRow which take values from selected table row and save them into object:

Problem is that getSelectedRow method doesnt get new (edited) values, old values are still used.
I have tried to use ActiveButton with same method and it works fine in that case. New values are selected from active row and inserted into object.
