Value of Authorized User on credit card

Hi all. My credit card knowledge is years old. During my time there was a joint owner on credit cards. I understand that no longer exists and authorized user is the replacement to joint owner. How worthwhile is this? Is it truly a replacement for 'joint owner'? Are all authorized users' credit reports affected and how do they do it, without the authorized user's SSN.

Is there a way to have an AppleID for an end-user without credit card info attached to it?

I am in charge of managing the Macs in our department. We have purchased a volume license for Mountain Lion (can't jump to Mavericks yet until we upgrade other software). I have a code to redeem, but the end-user is supposed to have an AppleID. I went ahead and started creating one for her, but it asks for credit card information, and corporate does not wish to have this information attached to an end-user's ID - they just want to supply it at the time of purchase for any future purchases (fear of identity theft and/or unauthorized purchases, I guess).
Our Mountain Lion software is already purchased, so Apple shouldn't need the credit card info for us to be able to install it. I can't install Adobe's Creative Cloud software until she's at least up to Mountain Lion … I feel I am hitting a major roadblock here! Any suggestions? Is this a new requirement? My own AppleID (for work) that I've had for awhile has no credit card currently attached to it … must not have been required at the time.

User submitted Credit Card Historical Transactions Management Report by mis

A user has submitted the 'Credit Card Historical Transactions Management Report' by mistake. They have noticed that as a result of this, the concurrent request appears to have deactivated all iExpense unused transactions up to and including the date that they ran the program which results in a number of cardholders affected are unable to see or acquit their Visa transactions.
We believe this process can be reversed using the same report and choosing "activate transactions" however we just need confirmation that our
assumption is correct and that the request can be reversed. Can anyone please confirm if this can be reversed.

I created a SR with Oracle to confirm this and they said you can run this program. I just wanted to make sure program is safe to run for clearing out outstanding charges for termed employee.If Oracle support confirmed that you can run the program, then I would say go with what they said :)

Change user/ or credit card or service

Hi there,
I hop e you can help me. My main user name is [email protected] I am subscribed to the Photographers bundle of photoshop and lightroom. At my one ofice I am also sucscribed as [email protected] and there just a photoshop on its own.
So please I have a few questions:
1) first choice, can I plase transfer the prepix subscription also to my [email protected] account AND may I change it to another product rather than having a second photoshop?
2) If I ccant do above, how can I change the email from [email protected] to something else?
3) I also want to then rather upgrade to the photograpophers bundle. However since I already I have it on my other computer I would like to rather get another product like adopbe premier or something.
4) I also need to change the credit card that the prepix subscription goes off of.

For subscription the Emails can not be changed, how ever you can always cancel the present subscription without any cancellation fee & buy another subscription with the required E-mail.

The photography CC can not be clubbed together but yes you can always buy the complete Cc or single app CC as per your convenience.

Re-authorizing an expired credit card authorization

Hi,
I am trying to find out whether re-authorising an expired credit card authorisation taken at the point of an order being placed will duplicate the amount ring fenced on the customers card. The documentation I have seen suggests that the funds are released and a re-auth will not duplicate the amount. We have the scenario where the customers using CC are bad payers therefore at the point the web order is taken we would like to ring fence the money unfortunately the requested delivery date could 3 weeks away and VISA auths generally last for 7 days before expiring.
Any experience or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

You can maintain the authorisation validity periods in the customising to keep the authorisation for longer than 7 days (SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> Sales and Distribution -> Billing -> Payment Cards -> Authorization and Settlement -> Specify Authorization Validity Periods) but I think you might be referring to how long VISA will keep the authorisation for.
Perhaps your clearing house could provide you with more details on this.
Bear in mind that even if you request an authorisation in the sales order in 3 weeks time you can stop the delivery from being created if no valid credit card authorisation has been received. If no authorisation is received from the clearing house no goods will be delivered to the customer so there should be no problem.

Problem with App store! I want to create a user without credit card.

So i was going to download a free app for my iPhone 5 with iOS 8, and i already have an apple id from iTunes on my pc so i just wrote that in. After that it said that i have'nt used that Apple id in App store before, which was true. So i clicked look through infromation and wrote in the info i needed to. But then i came too a page that said i needed to put in Credit card info, and i dont have a credit card! What do i do? I dont want too make a new Apple ID, since i have my main e-mail connected to it.
Please help! Anything answer would be much appreciated!

Authorized Credit card orders going for Reauthorization

Hi All,
I have an issue pertaining to Third party Sales orders where Credit cards are being used for payment,Even though these Third party credit card orders have valid authorization. The system automatically goes for reauthorization through the Authorization batch program when the third party items were just updated with the supplier confirmation dates.
Is this sap standard behaviour?
Normally as per SAP standard system automatically would go for re- authorization run whenever
An item is added to the sales order
When the Sales order value is raised i.e when pricing is
A schedule line quantity is changed
what is the relevance of system going for reauthorization run when schedule line quantities are changed?
In this case the third party items were just updated with the supplier confirmation dates,why is this happening and is there any setting that will always exclude credit card orders when it has valid authorization?

I would like to add to my query of reauthorization being performed for already authorized third party Credit card orders,when reauthorization run is carried out through the authorization batch program,These orders are rejected during reauthorization and the system sets an authorization block and in turn a credit block,I would also like to know as to why this is happening?

Payment Card field not required when terms Credit Card is selected

Hi all,
I am trying to make Payment Card fields required when the user selects Credit Card as Payment terms. Right now it allows to save the Sales Order even if there is no credit card number entered, even though the Payment Terms has been selected as Credit Card. I found a note 606494 but it has to do with a component we don't even have installed, so I could not implement it. Did not have any luck searching the forums. Please help!

DTW Incoming payment Credit Card

Hi everybody,
I try load by DTW the incoming payments, but can I not load successful the Credit card payment, I don't understand how match the Header Template with Detail Template.
I upload Template file that I use.
Please look up the "Header" file the column "H" show the payment form, the "Payment Credit Card" file show the payment with credit card "matching" whit the header.

1. ORCT - Remove values from Cash Sum for credit card incoming payment transactions
2. ORCT - Enter Series Code instead of series name
3.RCT3 - Give only last 4 digits of Credit card No.

Credit Card Processing without iPayment

We would like to set up Credit Card Processing without using iPayment. Has anyone done this before. Could please let us know the technical details on how to setup. We would like to use Cybercash for the credit card processing.

We're somewhat trying to do the same thing. Actually, we're just looking for all available options. As far as I can tell, from the A/R User Guide, credit cards can be processed with the basic functions. When you get into auto-loads, etc. it gets tricky. At that point, all I can see is either iPay or maybe a bank-provided equivalent.
Please let me know what you find.

Unrecognized charge to my credit card

What is the mechanism behind processing credit card payment on net?

Excuse my ignorance, i just completely dont have any knowledge about it. Here is what i thought: when a customer submit his/her credit card information on a e-commerce site, the site's server will make remote request to Bank's(?) server, which would verify the information user has provided, payment would be proceeded if those information is correct and sends message back to the e-commerce site's server. Or if the payment cant not be proceeded,the e-commerce site's server receives error message possibly saying the user's credit card info can not by verified. someone plz correct me if there are any mistake.
So, how can i simulate this mechanism on a single pc? What i thought was i need to set up a db on mysql which simulates the bank's db, stores people's credit card info. For the e-commerce site i run on Tomcat, i may set up db connection(JDBC) to this db and verify user's credit card info. But i dont think this is how it works in reality, isn it? It would be possibly using java RMI(i am just guessing, havent digged into this area yet) to complete the task. So, if this is the case, can i simulate it on a single pc? Or do i have to phycially have two PCs, have both of them connected to my house's LAN, one runs e-commerce website on tomcat, the other runs mysql db server, then i can start simulating it by using java RMI? This is just something i've been wondering these day. As the uni's long holiday getting closer, i am thinking of giving myself a project gotta be something like this, so i would not get bored during the holidays. I really wish someone would explain me some ideas. Many many thanks...

a real e-commerce site, that would be less secure than
having the database server behind a firewall.)
yes, i am runing both mysql db and Tomcat on my pc. So, i am wondering that i could possibly set up two separate databases, one holds data for whatever e-commerce site i am going to build, and the other simulates the bank's database that stores peope's credit card information, which can be accessed by the e-commerce site's JSP pages thru RMI for the purpose of validating credit card information. On the other hand, honestly, i am even asking myself what's the point or purpose of doing it in such a way? In fact, this is one of my subjects' project, that we've been given much flexibility about the way we simulate/implement the interaction between e-commerce site and bank's database. The goal is just trying to make it as close to what's happening in reality as possible. I was thinking of just creating a table that holds users' credit card information and put it with other e-commerce's site db tables altogether. But that just sounds like too far away from how it is done in reality, doesnt it? That's why i came up with the above ideas, what still not sure if it's proper way of doing it. Jesus, i am missed....

I'm trying to buy a gift card on itunes and it says i have to contact apple support to complete my transaction, but it doesn't say what the problem is. the computer is authorized, the credit card is authorized. i can log in with my password and user ID.

Can I switch my Apple ID on the same device and purchase software with my other ID that has a different credit card (or iTunes redeemed points) and then switch back to another user ID?

I have an iPad with an ID that is associated with 1 credit card but I don't wan't to use that credit card to make puchases. Can I switch to a different user ID and make puchases on a different credit card and/or iTunes redeemed points and then switch back to my original ID (before the 90 days wait period us up)?
