Hi,
I hope there is data in Delta Queue, do if it is not production system, then first delete the DataSource in RSA7 and Delete Data in Setup tables, Delete Queue in LBWQ (if you have any). You also run/execute Delta InfoPackage in BW, then check in RSA7 and then delete datasource if you find.
Then fill setup tables and check in RSA3.
Note: It is better to use Queued delta to track the errors.
Thanks

    Hi,
    ROCANCEL filed is one based on which you will come to know whether it is new record or change rec etc.... that is coming in the delta extraction.
    N  -- New record.
      X --- Changed
         ---  Deleted.
    This will be mapped to 0RECORDMODE infoobject in BW based upon which the data is updated to ODS.

  • SEM BSC - Exception while mapping value fiels to datasource

    Hi All,
    I am facing an Exception error while trying to get the value field mapped with Datasource by clicking the "Refresh Data Sources" in Value field tab of Measure definition of the Balance scorecard.
    The Exception is :
    An exception with the type
    CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_TYPE occurred, but was
    neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING
    clause
    The SEM used is in Netweaver 2004s.
    This exception is not allowing me to restrict values for perticular Characterstics values.

    Hi Marta,
    Your Answer gives some idea about the Exception.
    My SEM-BW release is 600 with no support package.
    Whereas the BW is 700 with SP 14.
    In SEM the Balance scorecard runs fine in SEM-BW release 400 but while dual coding the same in upgraded systemSEM-BW 600 this exceptions occures.
    This doesn't allow me to mapp the value field with the Datsource which is query, checked to act as datasource.
    Please help me out .

  • Rocancel shows wrong value

    Hi,
    I am currently working with  2lis_o4_P_arbpl extractor my problem is that after i delete an operation from Production order  and extract record in delta queue i get value for ROCANCEL for  that particular record as 'X' and i think it should be 'D' or
    'R' which is strange.
    Can any one let me know what can be possible problem and how can i go about it in this case please....

    Hi,
    The cancellation indicator will give value'X for the cancelled document and it is giving you the correct values.Basically it indicates whether the document is cancelled or not.

  • Link between 0RECORDMODE AND  ROCANCEL

    Hi, could you pls explaint the link between 0RECORDMODE and ROCANCEL
    I just dont understand why they are mapped in transferrules. and i dont have the field ROCANCEL field in my datasource. actually what scenario makes 0RECORDMODE and ROCANCEL go together could u pls explain
    Thanks in Advance,
    Pallavi.

    Hi,
    First: the recrodmode controls how data is posted into cubes or ODS (DSO) Objects.
    Different Chars have different meanings:
    N for new records
    B for Pre Imgages
    ' ' for after images
    R for Reverse Images
    X for Storno
    D for Deletion of a Key (only in ODS possible)
    What extractor delivers what different types pof values can be seen via to tables:
    ROOSOURCE in the source R/3 System.
    There point out th edelta mechanism. With this value, check within Table RODELTAM. There you see the different POSSIBLE Values for ROCANCEL delivered by a DataSource.
    The relevant objekt for the controlling of the mode in BW is the InfoObject 0RECORDMODE. Each ODS (DSO) has this Object. For Logistic-Extractors (except MaterialManagement) 0RECORDMODE should be mapped with ROCANCEL.
    0STORNO generally is an InfoObject for Reports. E.G. Material movements. Stornos are posted in R/3 with particular so called movement types. Each movement typer contains an information if it is of type "Storno". If this is so, the field storno contains an X.
    If you now map the storno field onto 0RECORDMODE, the record is interpreted as a storno record an will be wied blank ini the DataTarget.
    If you have monotone increasing document numbers (like in CO-PA, CO-OM, MM-INV ...) 0RECORDMODE should be left blank. 0STORNO can be used for Reporting then and be filled differently.
    If you can have changes to an already existing document number (like in sales orders or purchase orders) i'd strongly recommend to map 0RECORDMODE onto the delivered ROCALNCEL field.
    also Check
    Refer OSS Note 399739 and 333492
    Thanks..Assign points if helpful.

  • 0Recordmode and ROCANCEL

    Could you please explain me about  0Recordmode and ROCANCEL and how they are related if at all?

    Hi,
    Infoobject 0recordmode maintains the images for delta's.it keep tracks the Delta changes.
    0recordmode is used when we go for delta
    0recordmode is the field added by the system, if the ds if delta capable.
    In ODS it is added at the time of creation of the ODS.The 0recordmode is most useful in the delta loads from the ODS to another ODS/Cube.
    Include the 0RECORDMODE in your ODS but assign ""(space) in the transfer rules. The 0RECORDMODE would get populated by the system itself.
    First: the recrodmode controls how data is posted into cubes or ODS (DSO) Objects.
    N for new records
    B for Pre Imgages
    ' ' for after images
    R for Reverse Images

    This attribute describes how a record in the delta process is updated. The various delta processes differ in that they each only support a subset of the seven possible characteristic values. If a Data Source implements a delta process that uses several characteristic values, the record mode must be a part of the extract structure and the name of the corresponding filed must be entered in the Data Source as a cancellation field (ROOSOURCE-INVFIELD).
    The seven characteristic values are as follows:

  • How to set a date value at netui:hidden/ tag bind to a RowSet item/property through a form bean?

    Hi,
    I have the following urgent problem.
    I created a pageflow which uses a form bean (created with a db control) to insert
    values in a table. I overcame the disability to insert date values in the table
    by converting this columns to string values in the table. But now I have to insert
    a sysdate in a column that holds the row sampled date. How is it possible? I used
    javascript without an success.
    Code in jsp:
    document[getNetuiTagName("myForm",this)][getNetuiTagName("date",this)].value=new
    Date();(have used string values too)
    <netui:hidden dataSource="{actionForm.sampled}" tagId="date"/>
    Code in .jcx file
    <xsd:element name="SAMPLED" type="xsd:dateTime" wld:JDBCType="DATE" minOccurs="0"
    wld:TableName="theTable" nillable="true">
    * </xsd:element>
    Code in .jpf file
    * <pageflow-object id="formbeanprop:portlets.Career.Submit_CV.Submit_CVController.DatabaseForm#sampled#java.sql.Timestamp"/>

    return sampled;
    public void setSampled(java.sql.Timestamp newOne)

    this.sampled = newOne;
    I have tried to use java.sql.Date too...
    Any help would be very appreciated.

    Hi,
    Hope You're using the template.fmb.
    If  your Custom Form is in INV module, use  'FND_ORG.CHOOSE_ORG;' in the pre-form.
    Else Set the org id dynamically,
    begin
        MO_GLOBAL.SET_POLICY_CONTEXT(ACCESS_MODE,ORG_ID);
    end;
    Example:
    begin
        MO_GLOBAL.SET_POLICY_CONTEXT('S',101);
    end;
    S - Denotes that the current session will work for Single Org_id (101)
    M - Denotes that the current session will work for Multiple Org_id
    Thanks

  • Registry-based discovery does not show non key property value

    Hi,
    Discovered Inventory shows instances of my new class correctly, but the non key property ServerType appears but has no value. I have confirmed each instance does have the registry value populated. What can I do?
    I see the following Event 31876 on one of the clients:
    Data item returned no information for parameter '$Data/Values/ServerType$'
     This usually indicates that the query is incorrect.
    Detailed Background:
    My custom application is made of 8 different computer roles.
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Vendor\Appname exists = true indicates an instance of my app.
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Vendor\Appname\ServerType indicates the actual server role.
    I want an initial hosted class (VendorServer) based on Microsoft.Windows.Computer base class to contain all server roles.
    Then I will create 8 hosted classes (VendorServerRoleA, VendorServerRoleB, etc) for each server role based on the initial hosted class (VendorServer).
    My discovery for VendorServer class created instances, and I see ServerType as a property in Discovered Inventory, but it is blank for all instances.  Should I expect to see ServerType populated where I mapped it as follows:
    Name =
    $MPElement[Name="MPName.VendorServer"]/ServerType$
    Value =
    $Data/Values/ServerType$
    Does $MPElement need to reference the discovery object instead of the class object (which it currently does)?
    I started with a blank MP and then create the new VendorServer class based on Microsoft.Windows.ComputerRole and added the new Property, ServerType as a non key property.
    The discovery targets Microsoft.Windows.Computers.  Is it ok to have the discover target one class and the VendorServer class have a different base class?
    My build event was simply if HKLM\SOFTWARE\Vendor\Appname exists
    I am hesitant to proceed to create my VendorServerRoleA class based on HKLM\SOFTWARE\Vendor\Appname\ServerType=AAA until what I have built so far works completely, unless it is not expected to do so.
    A related question.  Once I have classes for each server role, can I target monitorA at multiple classes, or do I need to create a new monitor for each class?
    This authoring learning curve is so steep as I am sure many of you already know.  MUCH thanks for help...

  • FI-CO:  0CO_OM_CCA_1 & 9 Values Types Plan & Actual

    Hello Experts,
    I am working with FI-CO data sources 0CO_OM_CCA_1 and 9. When I check values types from RSA3 extract checker for 0COOM_CCA_1, the values are...
    10 Actual
    20 Plan
    30 Target
    etc...
    But the finance user says the valid value types are
    1 plan
    4 actual
    5 target
    11 statiscal actual
    Why is the differance? And also I dont see Statistical Actual in RSA3 value types.
    Appreciate your help
    Thanks
    Ram

    0CO_OM_CCA_1 : Use this Infosource to load Plan...Check the update routine and you would see that it loads only Plan values
    0CO_OM_CCA_9 : Use this datasource to load Actual value...
    If you check the R/3 tables you would see 1 for plan..4 for actual..etc... When it comes into BW actual is 10, plan 20 etc..,
    Hope this helps you....
    Assign points if you find the info useful
    Thanks,

  • Dynamic datasource query in Content Presenter

    I have a Documents region with a custom Content Presenter template.
    I would like to use a dynamic datasource query with this, which makes use of the currently logged in user and the user's role.
    The task flow parameters look like this now:
    <parameters>
    <parameter id="taskFlowInstId"
    value="${'afd37bc3-bd2e-4e97-b838-74c975529633'}"/>
    <parameter id="datasourceType" value="${'dsTypeQueryExpression'}"/>
    <parameter id="datasource"
    value="${'SELECT * FROM ora:t:IDC:GlobalProfile WHERE ora:p:dDocType = \'Dagbericht\''}"/>
    <parameter id="templateCategory" value="${''}"/>
    <parameter id="templateView" value="${'dagberichten.list.template'}"/>
    <parameter id="maxResults" value="${'3'}"/>
    </parameters>
    What are my options to achieve this?

    Jaap,
    You can use expression language in that query to make it dynamic.
    You could either build the full query from a managed bean or just some parameters.
    here's how you can do it when building the query from a MB:
    This should be the method in your bean:

  • Creat generic datasource"customising undependent of mandant is inadmissibl"

    Hello,
    I am creating a generic datasource through for a SAP (MCSI) table:
    1. After entering the DS name and descriptions and table name, by saving i recieve the error message: "repository change: customising undependent of mandant is inadmissible". With this error, i cannot save the datasource.
    2. By clicking on the delta generic: How can i configure the fields (the table is for sales order):
      - Field: Which field can i choose: For example there are the fields "data analysis date, data analysis month, .. and ...
    - Do i have to choose "Stamp or kalender" radio button and for which reason
    - The intervalle (smaller and higher value)
    3. The datasource is to transfer data in BI.
    Thanks
    Ar.

    Hi
    I hope your first problem is solved ( because of server used QA not DEV)
    2. By clicking on the delta generic: How can i configure the fields (the table is for sales order):
    - Field: Which field can i choose: For example there are the fields "data analysis date, data analysis month, .. and ...
    Ans : Its depends upon which date you business want your delta shuld work, click the F4 help and choose from drop down table.
    - Do i have to choose "Stamp or kalender" radio button and for which reason
    Again for Transactional data we used TIMESTAMP and for Master data it should be CALENDERDAY.
    - The intervalle (smaller and higher value)
    For TIMESTAMP +/-30 mins and for CALENDERDAY +/- 2 Days.
    3. The datasource is to transfer data in BI.
    Yes, Many std. datasources are provided by SAP which also we can modify by doing enhancement.
    Also we can write our own DS as per need and requirement.
    Thank-You.
    Regards,
    Vinod.

  • Comparing data, different datasources, output results

    Hi All,
    I have two datasources, 1 contains "strHRimage","strImage"
    and 2nd contains "strHRimage".
    I want to be able to compare the 2nd datasource "strHRimage"
    values with the 1st datasource "strHRimage" values and output the
    compared "strImage" values from the 1st datasource
    strHRimage is a hi res image
    strImage is a low res image
    I'm afraid all my efforts have not worked, any examples would
    be greatfully received.
    Regards
    Trevor

    Yes, the key is "key"...sorry for the pun.
    The best way (that I know of) is to create 2 arrays--assuming
    that the keys are numeric--and comparing the 2 arrays. That way,
    it's only 2 SELECT queries to the DB and then CF processes
    comparision.
    For ex,
    Query #1:
    arrayfirst[1] = John
    arrayfirst[2] = Mary
    arrayfirst[3] = Larry
    ...where 1,2,3 are keys from 1st query
    Query #2:
    arraysecond[1] = Ken
    arraysecond[2] = Mary
    arraysecond[3] = Larry
    ...where 1,2,3 are keys from 2nd query
    Then compare...

  • Enhancing the Classification Datasources . Tcode - CTBW

    Hi Guys,
    we need to use customer exit for populating certaing classification field values in the Classification datasources ( tcode - CTBW).
    could you please provide any document or info that whether it is possible to use the customer exit using CMOD  for deriving the value for the calssification field.
    Thanks
    lnv.

    Thank you for the document KJ, it was veryhelpful.
    I just have one more question ?? When I generate the datasource in transaction CTBW it is only generating the text datasource, for example
    1CL_AMIL010
    1CL_AMIL011
    1CL_AMIL012 and so on, but the datasource for attributes 1CL_OMAT001 is not being genereted, and i don't know why.
    I'm using 0MATERIAL_ATTR as base datasource, cat class = 01, Table MARA.
    do you know why this attr datasource 1CL_OMAT001 is not being generated ? The system ask me for a password of developer user, but i don't have one.

  • How to populate class based on value of seed class attribute instead of doing reg/script discovery again?

    I have a seed class. I populate that seed class using script discovery and it has attribute 1,2 and 3. Those 3 attributes are all populated via the script discovery too.
    Now I created a new application class which use the seed class as target. The criteria is if attribute 1 equal to a certain value. Here comes the question, how to create this discovery? In authoring console the options are registry discovery, script discovery
    and custom discovery. Since attribute 1 is already populated in seed class using script, I think I can use that instead of doing another script discovery for the new application class.
    However I didn't find a way to do that. Any suggestions?

    I pasted the base seed MP as following.
    The base MP has two classes: "MyBaseMP.MyApps.Candidates" and "MyBaseMP.MyApps".
    "MyBaseMP.MyApps.Candidates" is created from "Windows.Computer" class. Then it is discovered by "MyBaseMP.MyApps.Candidates.RegDiscvoery".
     "MyBaseMP.MyApps" is created from "Windows.Local.Application" class. It is then discovered by "MyBaseMP.MyApps.ScriptDiscovery". This script discovery is targeting on "MyBaseMP.MyApps.Candidates" class. The script
    also populated 5 attribute for  "MyBaseMP.MyApps" and they are APPLICATION, LOB, GROUP, ENVIRONMENT and STATE.
    This base MP works as expected.
    Now I want to create a new custom MP. The new MP has a new class "MyFinanceApps" created from  "MyBaseMP.MyApps". The service model is very simple just like following
      <TypeDefinitions>
        <EntityTypes>
          <ClassTypes>
            <ClassType ID="MyFinanceApps" Accessibility="Internal" Abstract="false" Base="MyBaseMP!MyBaseMP.MyApps" Hosted="true" Singleton="false" />
          </ClassTypes>
        </EntityTypes>
      </TypeDefinitions>
    I want to populate this class if LOB attribute echos to "Finance". How to make this discovery then? Sure I can create another script discovery but since those values already discovered in the seed class, is there any way I can use them?
    The MyBaseMP is as following:
