Values carried over from SDCR to SDMJ

Hi All,
does anyone know where we can control which values are carried over from a change request (SDCR) to a normal correction (SDMJ)? I know how where the partner functions are carried over but want to know where things like external reference number comes from. Thanks.

actually this no is normal the basis mesage no.
As we knw there are 2 part
1 CRM
2 Basis
External ref no belong to basis part
So if you can go your ticket and then use follow up button to your support desk ticket then again goto follow up preceding doc
here you can see the same no or basis part of ur message
For copying this no to subsequent doc you can goto spro .....change Transaction ->change Transaction type.->copy control for change req mgmt->define mapping rules
CHosse SDCR to SDMI ....Tick the field Ref....so it wil copied.
here you can chose the doc type and then wht you want to copy ( i mean field select it)

Any way color overlay could be carried over from psd to Reflow?

Hello,
We are really excited about Edge Reflow in the office, but one pain is that layer effects in the psd don't carry over to the Reflow file. A lot of times we designers use color overlay on things like copy in various parts of the layout to see different comps and make the best design solutions. It would be great if we didn't have to change the color of the type before running the generator... Am I missing a setting? If this isn't something we can change on our end, are you guys working on it?

okay I see that this is getting little more complicated.
So now I see it isn't anything with windows.
I do edit the picture in raw and it looks good and save it as psd then when I open it in photoshop it looks right and if I select view-proof colors then it comes out with that crazy color as it will look after I save it.
So going from raw where i edit it looks good then after I save it even if I save it there as jpg and open on photoshop it alway changes when it is checked on proof color.
Is anyone on here that know whay this is happening? how do I make the pictures stay the same after I edit them in raw?

Values carry over when copying pages!

Try as I might, I cannot figure out how to copy a blank page or create a duplicate page in a document without having the values that I type into fields in one page carry over to the copied pages.
Basically, I have a document with multiple pages. One of those pages, I need to have copied about 5 times in order to fill out different information. However, when I type in the first one, it duplicates what I typed into all of the pages! How can I make them separate entities and just have a blank page? I cannot figure it out for the life of me...Please please help!

In Acrobat Forms, AcroForms, all text fields with the same name are treated as the same field. In order to copy a page is through the use of templates that rename the field on spawning. But if the fields in the template already contain data, that data will be copied. The creation of templates can be done through the menu of Acrobat Professional or by using JavaScript, but the spawning of templates can only be done through JavaScript.

O2 (UK) - Minutes Carry Over From Previous Month?

If you've got an iPhone 3G in the UK, and you're on an O2 tarrif, do your remaining voice minutes and texts automatically get carried over to the next month?
I ask because a friend of mine has just completed her first month of owning an iPhone 3G. But, none of her remaining voice minutes or texts got carried over to the new month. So she's starting again with the basic 75 voice minutes, and 125 texts. Is this what should happen? Seems wrong to me.

On any o2 package the minutes and texts do not carry over. The £30 package is very poor value wise so if you are going over your minutes I would move up to the £35 package. To break what you get down to monetary values:
What the £30 package gives you.
75 mins is £15 of calls(20p per minute)
125 texts is £15 of texts(12p per text)
Unlimited wifi free(cloud and bt openzone, normally £7.50 per month)
Unlimited internet free(via network signal, normally £7.50 per month)
Total price would be £30 as well.
What the £35 package gives you.
600 mins is £120 of calls (20p per minute)
500 texts is £60 of texts (12p per text)
Unlimited Wifi is free(cloud and bt openzone, normally £7.50 per month)
Unlimited Internet is free(via network signal, normally £7.50 per month)
So £180 worth of calls for £35.
Worth it for a extra £5.

Categories carry over from Entourage to IPhone ?

Hello all.
We're all still waiting patiently in Australia for the IPhone (only a month or two we believe...).
My query revolves around syncing and what gets carried over.
At the moment I run a Palm Treo 680 (nice phone), using a plug in via ISync to sync the Entourage files via ICal, etc and back to the Treo. The only problem I have is that the categories I set in Entourage don't carry over in the sync process, it then becomes a "note" on the calender event/contact.
If I create an event, assign it a category (eg Holiday), will the ITunes sync process bring all of that over (and visa versa ?). This for me is critical, as I used to be able to do this same process seamlessly on the PC and Outlook 2007 (which I ain't going back to anytime soon !)

Report item value carried over to Form page

Hi all
I have a dynamic LOV (form a table) on a report. To redirect to a new entry page, I want the selected LOV column (consultants name) to show as a default in the Dynamic LOV of the new page. The reason for the dynamic LOV on the new page is so that the name of the consultant will most likely be the same, but the option will be given for the user to change the consultants name on the new entry page.

You can pass parameters from one page to another.
Create a branch to go to the second page and register the link-details.

Kadav tags carry over from RH 6 to RH 7

kadov is gone, but not forgotten.
If you don't care about kadov, skip to the end.
RH 7 doesn't use the old kadov tags in source html, so they
don't appear in WebHelp output topics either.
However, RH 7 does not automatically clean up kadov coding
when you import a topic created in RH 6 into a new RH 7 project..
Nor does it clean up when you use RH 7 to open a project originally
built in RH 6 or earlier.
This bit is generated when you put two or more spaces
together:
 
In RH 7 it becomes
<spaces> </spaces>
but not automatically.
Note the regular space at the beginning. You can repair this
with the RH find and replace utility, changing the string to a
single space (unless you wanted the extra space. In that case just
leave them there and RH will insert
<spaces> </spaces>).
I traced most of the kadov carryover to a .css stylesheet
originally created in RH 5 (maybe earlier) and reused in RH 6 and
7. I had built custom bullet styles. Some used a standard disc or
square, while some used custom images. RH coded the style and
duplicated it in a slightly different form, with kadov tags. (This
presumably ensured the display would be same in RH WYSIWYG as in
WebHelp output. Hmmm .....)
Steps I took:
1. In each topic, deleted the meta string
<meta name=filetype content=kadov>
2. Outside RH, cleaned up the .css stylesheet. You can build
a new one in RH7, which may be less trouble than revising the old
.css file with a text editor. I removed everything kadov.
3. Launched the project in RH 7.
4. Selected all topics and in the properties dialog, applied
default .css to all, reapplied the custom stylesheet to all, and
closed the dialog with the X icon at upper right. If you click OK,
you need to check a few topics to see which .css file stuck.
5. Generate WebHelp to a test location and see whether any
kadov tags got through. Do this even if you don't see kadov tags in
the project source files' html code.
6. I hope the next won't be necessary.
If kadovs still show up in the output,
a. Delete the problem styles in RH and rebuild them.
b. Reapply the style sheet to each topic.
c. Repeat Step 5.
d. If kadov isn't dead yet, open each topic and reapply the
corrected style everywhere the original was used. Regenerate
WebHelp.
Alternatively, you could spend that time making some lemonade
and sitting back to reflect on whether it's worth the trouble.
Depends on how obsessive you are about kadov.

Thanks to Peter, whose messages late Friday and yesterday I
didn't see until this morning, I now retract nearly all of my
previous post.
It happened that kadov cleanup was coded late in the RH 7
development cycle. I was looking at topics in a project that I had
started in RH 6, then opened in a test version of RH 7 that was not
the final release. Even though I started fresh, with a new project
in the final RH 7 release, and imported those topics from the old
RH 7 project, they had been tainted, apparently. I apologize for
this false alarm.
I think my old .css stylesheet was an unnecessary
complication. I plan to create a new one in RH 7 to match those
styles.
Another oddity that still clouds the picture:
When you import topics from an RH 6 project, the RH 7 view of
html source shows no evidence of kadov tags.
However, even after you save and close the new RH 7 project,
Notepad and FAR find kadov tags lurking about until you make a
change and save the topic in RH 7.
I understand you can edit and restore text in RH 7 before
saving, and kadovs will be gone in Notepad and FAR, as well as from
RH html view.
RH 7 does better if you open the old project directly, rather
than importing individual topics. Yet, the old .css style sheets
(default, etc.) retain kadovs. Maybe they get cleaned up later if
you apply them, I haven't tried.

Animation not carried over from Motion to FCP

In my FCP project, I sent a clip to Motion. In Motion, I imported another motion file of a car with spinning wheels that I made earlier and used that in the new Motion clip, along with some additional animation. Now, when I go back to FCP the car is visible, the additional animation is also visible, but not the spinning wheels. Is it not possible to embed Motion files within Motion?
When I export the clip from Motion directly to a QuickTime movie, everything is fine. But I'd rather don't go that route because it's much easier to move between FCP and Motion automatically.
Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks!

I'm guessing Final Cut is not referring back to the Motion file correctly. If that is the case here's a fix.
Open your Motion file back up (recent projects if you aren't sure what it is) and resave it by a different name somewhere you can easily find it. Alternatively you can export is a ProRes4444 clip if you don't want to have to render it on your FCP timeline.
Return to the clip in Final Cut. Control-click on the clip that should be a Motion document and pick "Reconnect Media." Point Final Cut to the resaved/exported Motion file you created. You may have to uncheck the box about showing only media with the same reel name. Hit Connect.

Behavior of Folder shortcuts (right end of Dock) carried over from Tiger

I recently migrated from Tiger 10.4.11.
Migration Assistant brought my account settings, including my Dock (thank you very much).
I noticed that if I add a new Folder shortcut to my Dock, it behaves in std Leopard fashion, Fan/Grid/the works. If I click on a shortcut which came from my Tiger days, it simply opens up a window in Finder. No Options if I right-click to set it up to Fan/Grid/List.
What's more, I dragged one of those old shortcuts out of the Dock, then replaced it by dragging the Folder icon from a Finder window, and it behaves Leopard-like. No way I can make it behave Tiger-like.
Is this is behavior normal? Is it a bug? Or even... a feature?

I have a similar setup and have the same problem, which is very annoying as I have to move most of my windows when I plug in the external monitor. Some applications behave the way they used to in Tiger such as Photoshop, but Apple applications including Safari, Mail and iPhoto have changed. I am hoping there is some setting to undo this change in behavior.

Can iTunes playcount carry over from old computer to next

Is there any possible way to save play counts from an old computer's iTunes and to use those same ones on a new computer, which will have its own new version of iTunes of course...?

Yes, you must backup the 2 iTunes associated metadata files, the .itl & .xml files which contain your playcount & playlist information. Transfer those files to the new computer via your backups.

i have upgraded to iphone6 but no photos are in the iCloud.

Function module called within a loop seems to carry over global data

Hello all,
I am calling FM "RS_COVERPAGE_SELECTIONS" inside of a loop of all variants for a program and then writing the variant values to spool. If only one variant is entered on the selection screen, all the values are correct. If nothing is entered, some of the variant values are carried over from a previous variant. I am emptying the internal table returned by the FM every time before the FM executes.
Would some one be willing to run the following code for a program with many screen fields and many variants and tell me if they get the same behavior?

Try using the function module PRINT_SELECTIONS, within this FM, the FM RS_COVERPAGE_SELECTIONS is being called. So it will not copy the previous values.
Pass Mode as 'A' , report name and variant name, then it will display the same output.

Negative carry over sholud not be allowed in fast formula

I have coded like this so that it will not allow negative carry over (note: no expiry for carry over )
but this will not work since line 8 will bring just carry over from the previous year.
To get absence i can use get_absence function.so if i get no of absence ,total carry over and total accrual pto i can calculte net entilement.
but to get Total accrual PTO in carry over formula , I am not able to use the procedure

Accrual Balance not getting carried over

For one of my client's employees, the mid-year accrual balance is not getting carried over.
08-JUL-2008 is the hire date of the employee. The client has end-dated the accrual plan element entry for this employee on 23-NOV-2009 and created a new one (for the same accrual plan) from 24-NOV-2009. The balance is getting carried over from 2008 to 23-NOV-2009, but NOT from 24-NOV-2009 to 31-DEC-2009.
08-JUL-2008 TO 31-DEC-2008 - Accrual Balance is 19.828 days.
01-JAN-2009 TO 23-NOV-2009 - Accrual Balance carried over from 2008 is 19.828 days.
24-NOV-2009 TO 31-DEC-2009 - Zero Accrual Balance is getting carried over.
Also, the client has run the PTO Carry Over process thru’ out for all the years. But no help there.
I just noticed that the accrual plan 'Annual Leave Plan 41 Days' and the respective balances, elements, links etc., were created in the system on 19-DEC-2009. Could this be the reason why the net entitlement balance is not getting carried over to 2009?
Would appreciate any pointers in this regard.

Hi,
Are you running the carryover process for both the plans. Can you share the accrual carry over for the new plan. As you have said the elements and links are created as on 19-DEC-2009, the balance should be carried over for the days between 19-DEC-2009 to 31-DEC-2009 if you are doing the partial accrual.

MM:Price Change did not Carry forward from previous to current period

Client has Reported that the Weighted Average Cost (WAC) was automatically reset to Zero in a particular Period and didn’t carry over from the previous period , The initial analysis was done and it was found that there is a configuration for “Price Change in Previous Period and not in current Period” which has to be maintained for the company code
The question is whether this configuration (“Price Change in Previous Period and not in current Period”) impacts both the Standard Price and
WAC or does this impacts only Standard price
Any pointers will be helpful, Will also Award Points
