Values not changed in Report

Hi,
in BEx 7.0 Query out put is confusing.
when I loaded Data in the Cube 2nd time.
double Values are displayed in the Query .
When I loaded the Data, I deleted Data in PSA and cube too.
For Example : Plan activity Quantity 1st time value is 100 then
2nd time when i delted the PSA data & Cube data, then I loaded Cube
the value of Plan activity Quantity 2nd time value is 200 then
3rd time when I delted the PSA data & cube data then once again I loaded Cube
the value of Plan activity Quantiy 3rd time value is 300.
when I deleted the PSA data & Cube Data, I checked in the Query no data it is showing.
That clearly Indicates not the problem of Cube.
Problem with the Query.
I am wondering how it is displayed like this.
may be some property i need to concentrate.
Then I saveAs this Query then The New Query is showing the Right Result
But old is showing Wrong values like (double,triple)
can anybody encounted this type of Problem in BEx 7.0
I have 30 Queries , I don't won't to SaveAs All these Queries,
some Queries has in WorkBook.
that's why I am checking the Properties.
Please Help me to find the solution

Hi,
the exact explication why you have to do this, I don't know...
but, out of my experience, I've noticed that If your cube is right and your query is right, but you get wrong results, you have to regenerate the definition of the query. Not by saving the query, but by 'generate' in RSRT. And 9 out of 10, you get the right result :o)
I think that SAP remembers a version of the querydefinition, and uses that definition. If you do generate, you give SAP a new version...

Plan next yrs values not appearing in Report Painter

Hi,
In our one of Z report (developed thrugh SAP std Report Painter functionality), Plan next yrs column does not shows any value in output of report.
Basically this column should show next years plan values for WBS Element cost elementwise.
When I double click on any of the cell of this column, I am getting output with 0 records but selection criteria is appearing as Period 7 and Fiscal year as 2999 on output screen on the top. So I am thinking that output is not appearing because of wrong selection criteria field values/characteristics values.
Just wanted to know from you all guys, what things should I check in Report Painter to resolve this issue? Also what are the causes of this issue?
Could you please tell me the remedial procedure and transaction code to resolve this kind of issue?

I think it looks like wrong Period selection characteristics value.
Please suggest/guide what has to be done?

COPA Plan values not appearing in report

Hi
I posted COPA Plan values using KEPM and line items are appearing in KE25 but no values are not being appeared in COPA line item report we created using report painter. We used KE94 and KE91.
Actual values appearing correctly in report.
Any help??

Check if you have Plan/Act indicator maintained correctly with the plan value. If it shows up in other reports, I don't see any reason why it will not show up here. I would also check other parameters entered in the report and see if any other characteristic is preventing plan values from populating.

Why is button value not changing?

I have a fairly complex form with several input text fields and buttons that have their values changed during operation.
The components are created from a session bean and are updated by two different mechanisms.
The input text fields are updated by user input.
The button acts as a toggle. When the user pushed the button, a javascript function checks the value of the button.
The button contains a single character, either a "X" or "O".
When the button is pushed, the javascript checks the value and changes it to the other.
Visually, this all works fine. Both the text fields and buttons behave as expected.
Here is the problem.
When the user pushes the "Apply" button, a session bean looks for the text fields and buttons using 'findComponent' for a specified ID.
They attempt to fetch the values of the components and update an internal array of values.
The input text component works fine.
User changes value, it is identified correctly, and the new value is detected on the component.
The commandButton component does not work as expected.
Visually, the component value changes properly.
When I use findComponent() and getValue(),. I get the original value.
I have verified that the component ID is correct - I print it with an Alert() method in the javascript and check it with the debugger before the findComponent() method.
But, what is returned from getValue() of the found component is the original value, not the value that is visually displayed on the form.
Can anyone explain why this happens and what I can do to get the correct visually displayed value from the button component?

Value not displaying in report template

I am attempting to use a template for the first time and am having difficulty when using the following template to format the output of an ApEx 3 report.
All values in the template come from the main table but TRADE comes from a joined table. The output from the report correctly displays the TRADE when run on its own but the value of #TRADE# fails to display when I use the template. Is there something I am missing or should this work?

It's the first time I have used apex.oracle.com as well so I hope I've done this right.
You did a superb job, thanks a lot. It allowed us to debug the problem, a rather difficult one to isolate as it turned out.
The problem occurs when your report columns' "query column ID" attributes don't match the "column display sequence" attributes. This is apt to happen in queries that use joins and is not a problem in itself. But if you have this situation and also use a named column row template in which you reference column aliases in #ALIAS# format, the wrong value can get substituted. That's what happened in your case.
The workaround until we can fix this is to replace the problem alias reference, e.g., #TRADE# with #13# in the template. I got the value 13 by exporting the page and finding this:wwv_flow_api.create_report_columns (
p_id=> 7496949738101935544 + wwv_flow_api.g_id_offset,
p_region_id=> 7496823660512873188 + wwv_flow_api.g_id_offset,
p_flow_id=> wwv_flow.g_flow_id,

...You'll need to keep track of this template change in case you rearrange the order of the report columns. We expect to fix this bug in the 3.1 release (no announced date yet).

PO Price Value not coming in report

Dear Gurus,
I have problem that when i run report mb51 for a plant and movt. type 101.In purchase order no of line items there.from all line items some of line items not showing po. price value they are showing 0 amt. but this amount exist in GRN doc or Posting Doc. What is the problem that standard report not showing amt for particular line item .Pl help to solve this problem.

Check once PO item value has been decreased (once GR and IV has been completed on PO you can alter the PO value which will have no effect) and also check deletion indicator/ blocking has been set for PO item.

Base Value not changing in MIGO Excise Tab

We are using MIGO to capture & Post Excise Invoice for our Import PO (PO type ZIMP). the problem is, when we change the qty in MIGO Qty tab, corresponding base value is not getting update in Excise tab. Please suggest a solution.

If you are doing a MIGO for Import consignment, duties are flow from Invoice booked thru MIRO, so doutful if you can change corresponding base value in MIGO.

Why are my parameter values not setting in report?

G'day,
Like many others I am a developer who is new to crystal reports. I have researched a lot for setting report parameters and although my code seem to be working when I open the report through code I'm always asked to re-enter the parameter values.
Here is my code:

Value not populating in report of MB5T ALV report

I had written a logic in implicit of this standard report and iam trying to populate the value in the ALV fieldcatalog.
Iam unable see the value on output screen though the value gets calculated correctly in debug mode.
Any suggestions

use COMMIT WORK.....maybe it's too fast and it is unable to store the value...
and try to set a break.point before the call of ALV..and check if the table is correctly calculated.

WRITE: CHKBOX AS CHECKBOX INPUT ON.
it will be displayd on output list if click on it It will be ticked or unticked it is fine.
but the value of chkbox is not changed.
but I need to change the value of chkbox regarding to clicking on it(check, uncheck).

Values are not showing in report

Hi,
I have created a report with EVDRE containing several columns. When I use MemberSet: "SELF" for all columns, it shows me the data I have uploaded correctly.
However, if I choose "MEMBERS" for any of the columns, the value field is empty. This is totally incorrect as I get several rows with the "MEMBERS" option, and one of the rows contains exactly the same filtering as when I use "SELF" for all columns. So that row should show a value, but it is empty.
If I choose SUPRESS:Y, it returns 0 rows.
Example ("SELF" chosen):
NAMEID, ADDRESS, TIME, SALARY
A, X1, 2009, 10000
Example ("MEMBERS" chosen for NAMEID):
NAMEID, ADDRESS, TIME, SALARY
A, X1, 2009, (blank)
B, X2, 2009, (blank)
C, X3, 2009, (blank)
Has anyone encountered this before?

Hey Sam,
I have some additional questions to help me understand what is going on.
What other dimensions exist in the application this report is running in, besides NAMEID, ADDRESS, TIME, SALARY?
What dimensions are in the COLKEYRANGE, besides SALARY?
What are your expansions set as (SELF, MEMBERS, etc) for the other row/column key dimensions?
Are you sure that all the other dimensions are not changing when you go from SELF to MEMBERS? I know this is probably not the case but I thought I would ask anyways.
