  • Vanishing Point filter, export for After Effects (.vpe) is disabled

I am using Photoshop CS6 Extended (ver 13.0). I can apply the Vanishing Point filter to a jpeg still and set/apply the planes but the Export For After Effects (.vpe) command in the drop-down menu within the VP window is greyed out. I understood this filter is a feature of the Extended version. Can anyone help explain why this is disabled? Much appreciate any advice.

Hi, I'm having the same problem...all I want is to create perspective on this chinese temple I've masked out of a background. There are only two planes. Is the VP effect possible on this? Both planes are blue but the export button is still grayed out.

  • File Importer Problem

I am working with footage from a DVD converted by a program called "Handbrake" into MP4.The message: "File importer detected an inconsistency in the file structure of [file name]" appears in the events monitor (yellow triangle bottom right of workspace.) I have a yellow line that turns to red above the timeline. Jerky playback and poor video quality. What should I do from here? I tried re-interpreting and conforming the square pixel footage to DV/NTSC with no results. The aspect ratio is 698x466 but there is no way to adjust (that I could see).
May or may not be related but Premiere has been stalling regularly upon program start-up and closing. This with all my projects.
My system is 64-bit Vista 8 GB RAM, and includes a Matrox MX02 Mini
    File Path: F:\Premiere Projects\20090901 Marlon GC\Marlon Set 2.mp4
    Type: XDCAM-EX Movie
    File Size: 10.1 GB
    Image Size: 698 x 466
    Pixel Depth: 32
    Frame Rate: 29.97
Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - compressed - Stereo
Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Stereo
    Total Duration: 00:58:57:06
Average Data Rate: 2.9 MB / second
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 0.8901

The file improter error message came when I imported the files.
I don't have the original DVD or its folder, just the MP4 files that were converted by Handbrake sometime last year. No BPAV folder, although I did not know I could import a DVD folder. Anyway, that's all I have - the dimensions are 698x466 and it plays the same in the Adobe Media Player as in the Matrox Player. I suppose i can get with Matrox as well since it's their box (MX02 Mini).

  • Flash swf file import with sound effect

    I'm sorry for my english

    how can ı solve this

We have configured our BW sytem to extract data from CRM. Various reports are displayed in CRM UI  including queries using BEx WEb and Xcelsius dashboards. Xcelsius dashboards is pulling data from BW cube for CRM data. To present the dashboard in CRM UI we created a bEX web template as a copy of 0DASHBOARD_TEMPLATE. In the copied template specify the name of the xcelsius file. The copied web template can be configured using standard config options for CRM UI.

  • Vanishing point – Marquee tool – problems with pasting images

For some reason when I paste my selected image into the Vanishing Point tool it comes in with a marquee that is exactly 4 times the size of the image that I originally selected and copied. This completely throws the perspective off as for some reason it thinks my image is 4 times the size it actually is. If anyone could help it would be very appreciated.

You have to be quick...Very quick. Here is a video showing what should happen:

  • KMZ and 3d Google file import problems (Photoshop CS3 Extended)

I'm new to the forum, so, I hope I didn't miss any answers about this in the FAQs, etc.--I did look.
I have PSCS3 Extended and have downloaded and installed the Google 3D Warehouse plugin. I can access the plugin which takes me to the Google 3D website and I can navigate to and download 3D models. However, when the model is actually brought into Photoshop, it looks very strange. The model is only visible in fixed shape area that appears to be the shape of the initial 3d model. But when I rotate and move the model, it simply slides the view of the image inside the fixed shape area. Very strange. I've tried this with about 8 different downloaded KMZ (Google Earth 4) models and they all do this same strange behavior. Additionally, I downloaded Google's free SketchUp program. The models load and appear fine in that program. I've exported from that program, but the files still have the same problem when loaded up into Photoshop.
I'm really baffled by this. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

    Problem solved!
Prior to my posting here, I had checked Dell's Customer Care driver download site for the latest video card driver and had downloaded the most recent one they had posted for my video card. I also had let Windows Vista "check for updated driver" for the video card and it reported that I had the most recent video driver.
    WRONG!
Instead of relying on Dell's Customer Care driver download web site or Windows Vista's updated driver button, I decided in one last desperate attempt to go directly to nVidia's web site to check for the most recent driver (I know, I should have done this to begin with, but if Dell and Windows offer driver updating ease, I had the silly idea that it would actually work correctly!). The nVidia site had a driver that was one month newer. I downloaded it and installed it and now the KMZ file is appearing correctly in PSCS3, and, so are all the other 3d file formats (3DS, DAE, etc.)!
Hope this information helps anyone else out there who might be having this problem. And, the problem was NOT PhotoShop or Google or the plug-in, the problem was Dell and Microsoft's driver support not updating driver support in a timely manner.

  • File Import Error / distorted image CS3 3.2.0 - Blackmagic Uncompressed 10-bit YUV NTSC 4:3

    Hi All-
I have been capturing some old VHS tapes using Blackmagic Media Express via a Decklink HD Extreme 2 card (composite in, RCA audio in) and then subsequently editing the files in Premiere Pro CS3 ver. 3.2.0.  But I'm running into a strange problem with the image being very distorted upon import into Premiere.
The capture settings in Blackmagic Media Express are as follows: NTSC, Uncompressed 10-bit YUV, 29.97, drop frame.  After capture and before editing in Premiere, I watch the capture file in Windows media player and it looks and sounds fine.
When I create a new Premiere project to edit the clip, I use the following preset: Blackmagic Design, NTSC, 10-bit YUV, 4 x 3.
When I import the .avi file created during the media express capture into the new Premiere project, the image becomes extremely distorted.  However, if I choose any other preset in Premiere, the image looks OK, which seems strange because the other presets do not match the import file settings.  I should note that when I render the distorted looking file out using the Premiere media encoder, the file looks OK.
Any suggestions?  I cannot figure out why the video is not importing or showing correctly in Premiere. Help!
    Thanks a bunch,
    Rex

Has this process EVER produced non-distorted video when imported into Premiere?
If this is a NEW problem, then what has changed since the process last worked properly?
If this is a FIRST TIME process and problem, my guess is a video driver that is not 100% compatible with what you are doing... you provide no other information, so it could be you need a newer (or, sometimes, older) video driver
Windows updates have been known to cause problems

  • Nikon D600 NEF file import problems

    Hi,
Lr won't import NEF files from my nikon d600 even though i've upgraded my software to Lr 4.41 and camera raw 7.4, which according to what i have read on the web, should be enough.
Has anybody got any ideas / encountered this problem themselves before?
    Thanks in advance!

It was my understanding as well, that the latest Lr4 would support those D600 files. I would consider trying with Lr5.2 trial as a test, or converting to DNG prior to import, as a test...
But maybe first: Copy (using OS, not Nikon Transfer) from card to hard disk, then try adding in place. - works?

  • Final Cut Express File Import Problem

Can anybody help me? I am doing a class project with final cut express and I imported some songs in AIFF encoding into final cut to work with them…I finished the project but realized I made a huge mistake for class. When I imported the music files I did it from my flash drive directly, instead of copying them to my hard drive first. So when I try to open the project without the flash drive I get an error message saying missing files and then there is a reconnect, ok, and another button. This means it is searching for my flash drive for those source music files, plus the sound edits I made don’t load without them. If I copy those files from my flash to the hard drive how can I have the software locate the files in the new location? I can’t have this project loading from the flash or my professor can’t grade it after the semester….I hope I don’t have to delete my edits and start over….PLEASE HELP!!!!
      Mac OS X (10.4.8)
      Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Copy the song files to a folder on your hard drive. Then disconnect the flash drive. Start FCE, open your project. When you get the Reconnect Media message, be sure to check "Select Files Manually" and then follow the dialog boxes to point to the files in the folder you just created. Once FCE reconnects to the song files, save your project and you should be fine.

  • File Import Problems

I just created a new project that was going to feature edited HD video clips taken from two different sources. The bulk of the footage consists of 1920 x 1080 clips (recorded at 29.97 fps) Logged and Transferred from my Canon Vixia HFS10. I wanted to add some additional clips that were shot on a Kodak Zi8 mini DV recorder at 1280 x 720 (frame rate unknown). The Zi8 belongs to a friend who used it along with the Canon on this particular shoot.
I've never attempted to mix clips from two different sources before, so I'm sure there are any number of nuances to this process I'm unfamiliar with. In short, though, when I attempt to import the Zi8 clips to the project individually I get the following message: *File Error: 1 file(s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown.* If I attempt to import the folder they reside in I get this message: *Unsupported Frame Rate. Final Cut Pro does not support this frame rate or the way it is represented.*
These Zi8 clips are Quick Time Movie (.mov) files, which, as I understand it, should be compatible with FCP. What am I missing here? Any thoughts or recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
    Doug

Apparently I spoke to soon in that last post, Patrick. I just got done performing a ProRes 422 file conversion in Compressor, and _this time_ it worked! Don't know why the same conversion when performed as a QuickTime export was unsuccessful, but apparently there's a difference between the two methods that results in one being acceptable while the other isn't. Strange indeed.
Even though that problem is solved, I'm going to piggyback on the original question and ask what (if any) kind of challenge am I going to have to deal with relating to working with two different dimensions and frame rates? My thought is that the finished edited clip will end up as a 720 rather than 1080 HD movie if that makes any difference. Thank again for any suggestions and input.

  • PAR file import problem in NWDS

    Hello All,
Some time back we had developed a custome masthead component for our portal (EP 6, SP 21).
It has been deployed into the portal and its running fine.
now, we need to change some thing in that and so we have downloaded the par file and imported in nwds for code modification.
once we do that we get the masthead.jsp file but unable to get the class files and the beans.
what we doubt is while deploying the par the code was not deployed in the portal.
do you have any idea how can we get the code base out of that ?
p.s we dont have any other code base.
    Thanks
    Anirban

    Hi Anirban,
If you uncheck and deploy the PAR file, later you can download it from portal. But the source code will not be available i.e src.api and scr.core will not be available.
1.unzip the jar file in portalINF/lib.
    2. Run the java decompiler tool on each unzipped folder.
    3. create another folder and move .java files and rename it.
    Hope this might be helpful.
    Thanks,
    Subashini.

  • Iphoto 08 "Unreadable File" importing problems

Problem: The iphoto library (with 16,000 photos already) will not import anymore.
    I have performed the following:
1)Created a new iphoto library and it imports without a problem.
2)Reloaded the OSX on the computer.
3)Rebuilt the iphoto library using "Command and Option" while clicking the iphoto program.
    4) Software update (quick time also).
The problem still persists. I did get the photos to the desktop using the other iphoto library.
One photo I am trying to import is a JPG that I took with an iphone. Another photo is a JPG from a Canon Digital Elph.
It appears to be a problem ONLY with that particular iphoto library.
    Please help!

    I hope this helps others.
I did NOT fix the problem but I did find a "work around".
    1) Copy the iphoto library that will not import anymore, to the desktop.
    2) Open the iphoto library copy.
    3) Now import......it works!
If anyone finds out how to fix the problem, I am still interested in the fix. It takes a lot of time to copy a 15GB library every time I have this problem.
