Variable description not appearing in variable screen

Hi Experts,
we have created a variable which is ready for input. While executing the query, the variable description is not appearing in the variable screen, instead variable technical name is only appearing in the variable screen.
The same variable is being used in two queries. In one query, it displays the technical name and in the other query it displays the description of that variable.
your solution would be greatly appreciated.

yeah......it is strange. As soon as the variable screen comes up, all the variables normally shown in description rather than a technical name, unless you select "Key & text" OR only "key" OR only "Text".
But, in this case this particular variable is showing in technical name, the description itself is disappearing from the variable screen.
No changes have been made to variable. The same variable displays with descriptions in other query. so difficult to analyze.

yes I did reset the PRAM, but no benefit, still the same problem
my usb devices are: keyboard, mouse, printer, SD-USB-M3, and LaCie d2 DVDRW:
the mouse and printed are plugged into the keyboard: i have tried to move, these around, and have even tried just the mouse, printer and SD-USB-M3, but still the same problem

Hi,
For GR, which movement type you are using...?
If it is 103, you will get the excise invoice tab only in 105 GR.
If it is 101 only, check the following configuration.
SPRO-Logistics General-Tax on goods movements-India-Business Transactions-Incoming Excise invoices-Specify which movement type involve excise invoices.
Please revert for further analysis.

Thanks for your reply, i have created report in Report Painter, after execution the report i tried in all the parameters under setting menu > report and section layout as well> lead column --> and kept the radio button on key and description, still its not showing the description of the GLs under lead column....

Thanks for the response diesel. I dont think I clarified my question very well. I'm trying to do home sharing between mine and my wifes computers. The intructions say:
Log in as the same user on each computer.
Ensure both are current version.
Choose the correct list in sharing ie Music
Then in the 'show menu' at the bottom of the screen, choose items not in my library.
I do not have the show menu to select any songs.
Any help appreciated.

The Firefox icon is the default feature for Windows Vista and 7 only, it does not apply to Windows XP users.
To have the Firefox icon instead of the Menu Bar:
View > Toolbars and UNCHECK the Menu Bar.
After that, click on the Firefox icon and you'll have the Menu Bar appear again.

You may need to verify that this functionality is enabled in Settings -> Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode).
Allow access to features when iPhone is locked. Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode (iPhone models with Touch ID) or Settings > Passcode (other models). Optional features include:

Siri (if enabled, see Siri settings)

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Since changing to OS 10.7.1. my touch ipod does not appear on the screen or in itunes

Since upgrading to OS 10.7.1, my touch Ipod (version 4.2.1, model PB528LL) does not appear on the iTunes as a device on the computer screen. It also seems that the ipod is no longer being charged via the USB connection.

Itunes artwork does not appear as a screen saver any longer

My itunes album artwork no longer appears as a screen saver on my Macbook when it goes into screen saver mode. The screen goes black and a message says that iTunes are work is not available. What can I do to correct this problem?

I found the answer immediatly after posting the question. My iphone messages were stored in itunes. When I deleated those messages, and restarted iTunes the album art work as a screen saver worked perfectly. Thanks to previous posters.

Contact list is not appearing in SMS screen

Dear All, i am facing two issues : 1) from the contact list, if i select any contact then i can either Call him, Email to him or write on his/ her facebook wall. why SMS option is not avaliable here. 2)from the SMS scree, i am not getting whole list of contacts here. what i am doing right now, i am writing down the contact number from the call list and then manully putting the number in SMS screen

Check that in contacts the numbers are listed as "mobile". If they are called anything else such as " work" "home" or "home 2", they will not appear in the SMS list nor be available in contacts to send an SMS even if the numbers are mobile numbers. If you have allocated any description other than"mobile" you will have to edit them.
The system won't allow a contact to have 2 "mobile" numbers even if in reality the contact does have 2.

Value category description not appearing in PM WO

Gurus,
On the cost overview tab of a PM work order, one of the value category description isn't appearing like the others. I thought it was a translation problem but am logged in EN and all descriptions are entered in this language (OIK1).
Any clues ?

There are actually 2 problems:
-> Value category DESCRIPTION linked to stock materials GL account does not appear in cost overview tab as mentioned before.
-> Value category line linked to internal maintenance GL account does not appear AT ALL in cost overview.
Although, when i launched the report planned/actual everything is there.
Matt -> Where can i check about the value category being assigned to a specific currency ?
Murray -> was actually a problem earlier with a one of the GL accounts assigned to a value category (the one for internal services). It wasn't created on the controlling area i work with. I created it, runned OIVC again and now all traffic lights are green but my value category doesn't appear AT ALL in the WO cost overview.

In iphoto, I click on events. In events I clilck on an event but it deos not appear as photos on the screen which remains blank. The photos are however available by clicking on the event under "RECENT" in the side bar.
How do I get them tp appear in the normal way?

Make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
