Variable not resetting properly - IP/WAD

VARIABLE RESET
I am in the IP- WAD environment
Query A is passing binding values on multiple characteristics to Query B and Query C
The characteristic are received in query B (input query from designer ) and C (aggregation level - planning sequence simple) as variables through a Filter Button-Dropdown Single selection.
This where I set the info-provider parameters and set the variable parameters.
Every thing work well the first time, however when I change the parameters in the filters, the transfer of the variable values does not reset.

Hi Jean-Marc,
Is you web template shown in an iView?
If so you can put the string '&clear_variables=x' at the end of your bex string to reset the variables.

App Store update counter on dock icon does not reset properly

There's definitely a bug in the App Store for Mac. The update counter does not reset properly. I have purchased only one app so far, and this morning the dock icon indicated a (1) meaning an update was available. I downloaded the update and the ( 1 ) disappeared. When I quit the App Store, the (1) reappeared on the icon in the dock. Now whenever the App Store launches the (1) disappears and whenever the App Store quits it reappears so it always looks like an update is waiting.

Open a Finder window. Select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left. Now open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.
Move the com.apple.dock.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac.

System Variable not display properly

when i go sales>sales report> backorder report there is a feild for an example custoer name and i
need to fetch this feild on PLD report but when i want to see the varible name it is not showing
properly .
screen short is attached for ur reference ecen it is happing for all the feild on any document.
some document it shows but some document some data is hide .

i need to resolution on this and need system varible list.

i am going to explain in detail like if i need to see some table name then my
first step will be go to>view>system information-->then move the
mouse on value from which i want to see table name then the table name
display down area near by task bar.
i just wanted to say sometimes table name not display prpperly ,its hide so

I don't think there are table names on this back order form. All variables are calculated results by system.

Selection variable not working properly on portal

Hi,
We have a report in which Survey is a selection variable(Not a mandatory variable). If I select Two or more surveys simultaneosuly in the initial selection screen, then the Portal is not displaying the data. PFB screenshot of the selection.
If I select the same two surveys individually in the selection screen, then the portal outputs the result. If I execute without selecting any survey and then apply a filter (after the output is generated) for those two surveys together, then also the data is displayed properly.
Kindly note that this report is being used by German users and the problem exists only when the Language preferences of the portal is changed to German. With English Language Preferance, the selection variable works properly.
Please suggest if anybody has faced a similar issue

The texts are maintained for those survey values and even with German Language Key, still not getting the output.
If i select them individually, then I am getting the output.
For instance, I have selected the surveys "0000084001" and "0000090001" together in the selection screen(I have inserted the Pic in the original post, but i am sorry it is not clear in that) and not getting the output or it hungs up in the execution state.
If i select the same survey "0000084001" only, then I get the output.
This is the same case when I select only "0000090001".
This scenario is only with German Preferance.
If i change the preferance to English and select these two surveys together, then it outputs the result.

Evaluate variable Not working properly

Hi
When i used Evaluate variable , It is having list of Operator (=,<>,IN etc).
When is specified operator '=' and give one value its working properly.
eg. Select name from table ;
O/p = AA
In ODI , Operator =AA its working .
But when i specified Operator "IN" and giving value ('AA','AB') Or value (AA,AB) its not working propelry.
Any other operator or any other option to use IN operator.

I never saw that "IN" woks!
There is a workaround, use a at variable refresh tab a command like: (you can refresh the variable from itself)
select case when '#project_code.my_var' in ('ab','a','x')
then 'OK'
else 'KO'
end
from dual
put it as refresh step and add a new instance as evaluate "= OK"

Works on PreLoad but Not Resetting

I bought a Fla file from iStockPhoto.com
The file works fine however I made the 4 boxes larger by
holding down the Shift Button and using the transform tool. Now the
boxes are larger and still work.
However on their reset/exit they do not reset properly. They
go back to frame 1 however the ActionScript is not aligned for the
X & Y coordinates is my best educated guess.
Would anyone be interested in looking at the file? It should
be straight forward but I do not know Action Script very well.

Edit: I succeeded to solve it accidentally. I did the following: Sign the jar in Netbeans, clean and build, the jar didn't work, I wiped out the .ks from the jar and clean and build again. Now it worked.

Variable not expanding in command, unsure why

Hello, I have a relatively straightforward problem in a script I am making, it has to do with a variable not expanding properly but I am unsure why and not sure what else I can do to further debug the issue, any advise would be appreciated.
Basically I have a variable containing a pc name:
$pcName="myPC"
and I want to use that in a script to get the pc:
Get-ADComputer -Filter {Name -like "$pcName"} -Properties LastLogonDate
However, that command returns nothing but if I manually put in the name:
Get-ADComputer -Filter {Name -like "myPc"} -Properties LastLogonDate
it does work properly.
What am I doing wrong?
I have tried:
Get-ADComputer -Filter {Name -like "$($pcName)"} -Properties LastLogonDate
which also does not work, to me it looks like it is a problem with the shell not expanding the variable inside that filter block, but I'm not sure why this would happen.

I have found out that doing:
Get-ADComputer -Filter {Name -like $pcName} -Properties LastLogonDate
does work, but really it does not help me completely, as I would actually like to search for "$pcname*" which continues to fail, I realize that i can just append the * to the variable before this line, but I still would like to figure out whats
going on here with why it will not expand the string as i expected it to in the filter block.

This does work, it makes sense to me because it's using the string version of the -Filter parameter and backticking the quotes on the inner part for the name. Would be nice if this did work within the filterblock still but at least that gets me going
for now.

Time Capsule will not reset

I'm trying to delete old user devices from my access control list, but after I remove them, the Time Capsule will not reset properly. After I delete one of the devices, click on Update, the time capsule gets stuck during the update and never fully resets. If I pull the plug and restart the time capsule, it reverts back to it's previous state with the devices still in the access list. Is anyone having this trouble?

I have the same problem and I found this thread describing the same thing on another forum. Each time I try to change any setting this happens (i.e., TC won't reset and I have to unplug it before I can use it again).
When the postings in the mentioned thread are any indication no reset (hard or soft) will have any lasting effect. But of course, I will try to reconfigure and see what happens.
Any solution or localization of where the source of the problem (firm-/soft-/ or hardware) would be highly appreciated:)

When I update my iPhone 4S to iOS six Facebook does not work properly the newsfeed doesn't load properly and I can never see what's going on all I see is a picture of an antenna and a little thing underneath it says no new stories when I reset my phone back to iOS 5 then it works just fine and I don't have any issues so there must be something wrong with iOS six that isn't letting Facebook load properly

No I did not use any unauthorized methods for anything, I simply reset my phone back to factory.

Ranking is not working properly on measure variables

Dear All,
I am facing a strange issue in my report,i have created a cross tab report with vendor,month,qunatity i have applied rank(Top5) on this table this working fine.
I need to show quantity share% also in the report so to achieve this i have created two variable in webi:
Total Qty for share:
=Sum([Quantity] For All([Vendor Name])
%Qty share:
=[Quantity]*100/[Total Qty for share]
I have used %qty share in the table,now the table contains vendorname,month,%Qty share,i have applied rank(For Top5) in this table but after apply rank the values in the table is not showing properly .
For example before ranking i have 6 for the month of jan but after applying ranking it is becoming 14 in the table.
Why it is happening is there any problem in the variables.
I have tried rank in the both the ways ,the option in webi and the formula by using Rank function:
Rank([quantity[;Vendorname]) both is giving the wrong values.
Please suggest me it is very urgent where i need to deliver the report.

My iphone 3gs is not working properly, when switched on it says 'Update Completed' as though it has just been updated. On the next screen it says to 'Connect to iTunes'. It doesn't, however, connect to iTunes and more often than not just resets itself.

It doesn't, however, connect to iTunes and just resets itself over and over until power is gone. Occasionally after switching on and off a few times it functions normally for a few hours and some times even a couple of days but eventually always turns itself off and goes back to the 'Update Completed' screen. Does anyone know what might be causing this and/or a way of fixing it?
