Variance analysis with InfoSource 2LIS_04_ARBPL - Target fields empty

Hi Experts,
I want to run a variance analysis for production orders in BW.
The Confirmed activites (ISM01-3) are filled in the DataSource 2LIS_04_ARBPL , but all the fields "Target qty/act.typ (ZMNG1-3)" are empty.
Do anyone know, how to these fields are filled?
Thanks.
A. Morhardt

Check the following things:
1.  Go to tcode: OPL5 and select the Order type for which you want to load data and Select the Details button.Ensure that the four indicators (Update, Header, Item and Operation) are chosen.
2.  Have you filled the Set up table ??

    Hi Experts,
In CRM 2007, interactive reporteing the Closing Date Analysis report does not show the targets entered in Quota Planning.

The expected sales volumn is calculated and shown in the report. But the target from the quota plannign is not reflected.
Can anybody give me an advise, what to do / what could be missing?

  • COPA Derivation based with target field as non-copa field

    Hello experts,
There is a requirement to derive the Characteristic maintained in Classification view(AUSP table) in Material master based on material number. The target field into which the characteristic value needs to be populated is not in COPA(it is a non-copa field).
I tried to use table look up with AUSP table, but it is asking for values of certain key fields like
    ATZHL(Characteristic value counter)  MAFID(Indicator: Object/Class) and
KLART(Class Type), which are not there in COPA.
With the Enhancement in KEDR transaction, EXIT_SAPlKEDRCOPA_001 and Include ZXKKEU11, I  created an enhancement step by giving  the material as the key in the source fields. With that material number I can do a select on the AUSP table inside the include ZXKKEU11 and get the characteristic value. The problem i am facing is that the target field which stores the internal characteristic value is not there in COPA?And while creating a derivation rule, I can only select the COPA fields as target fields.
It's urgent....any suggestions  please? Points will be rewarded for any useful answer.
    Thanks,
    Anky

    Hi,
As far as I know the derivation functionality in COPA is meant for derivation of characteristic values to store them in a characteristic field.
If you splitt up the derivation in two steps it might be possible to use the USERTEMP fields, to store the information needed and to pass it on to an other lookup step as a key-reference.

  • Source selection derived from target field Cons Chart of Accts is empty

    Dear,
When I run the LDS, The system issues this error message :
"Source selection derived from target field Cons Chart of Accts is empty"
Although, mapping of Cons Chart of Accts   in LDS for this method is defined as constant value.
I can't load data from raw data cube. What can be the reason ?
    Thanks,

Source selection derived from target field Cons Chart of Accts is empty
    Message no. UCT8257
    Diagnosis
The system derives the source selection from the selection for target field Cons Chart of Accts. The resulting source selection is empty.
    System Response
The system cannot read any source data.
    Procedure
Examine the mapping rule for field Cons Chart of Accts. Make sure that the inversion of the mapping rule does not produce an empty selection or lead to conflicting values.

  • Replace the empty field with below data content field in xml pub report

    Hi Gurus,
Please give me the solution for the Replacement of empty field with below data content field in XML PUBLISHER REPORT.
    ex:
    Name:Philips.M
    Address 1:XP APPTS,
    Address 2:S:R ROAD
    Address 3:
    COUNTRY:INDIA
Here i have to get only address 1,address 2 and the COUNTRY data.I dont want to display Address 3 field here.
    Thanks,
    David

I'm not sure if this answers your question but you could try putting out the address all in one item in the SQL eg somthing like:
    address1 || DECODE(address1, NULL, NULL, 'newline character') ||
    address2 || DECODE(address2, NULL, NULL, 'newline character') ||
    address3 || DECODE(address3, NULL, NULL, 'newline character')
where 'newline character' is somthing like CHR(12)

  • How to read the Variance Analysis report S_ALR_87013139,  Pdt cost by Order

    Hi,
Could someone tell me how to read the variance analysis report, S_ALR_87013139 - Cumulative for product cost by order. The report has the following fields, Target (Debits),     Actual (Debits),     Scrap,     Var. Without Scrap,     Work in Process(WIP),     Control Costs.
I am looking to find how the numbers add up.
    Thanks for your help.

    Thanks Sridhar,
When I analyse the report S_ALR_87013139 - Cumulative , for a product for a period (with no scrap), I get the following
    Target (Deb) -   46,855.55
    Act (Deb) - 58,315.87
    Scrap - 0.00
    Var W/O- Scrap -  11,269
    WIP- 0
    Control Cost - 0
Here Actual - Target is not equal to Variance. What could be the issue?
Could you please tell me how SAP would update this report  with target & actual costs with respect to open production orders, carried over from previous periods.
    Thanks,
    Ram

  • Forcing Creation of Target Field

  • File content conversion: Target Field is optional

I am using FCC in receiver file adapter.
    My file is getting generated.
In target structure one field is optional and hence target xml element doesnt have value. hence that field is not there in txt file. with this what happens next subsequent field gets shifted to my optional field place and then i get error field length is not correct.
I want to put 2 spaces if that optional field length is 2 char and then there should be field separator(space) and the subsequent column.
I am already giving fixedfieldlegnth of all the fields.
Pl can anyone suggest how to do this.
    thanks,
    sharada

    Hi Sharada,
Do your normal mapping to the target field that is optional.
Use a If function before mapping the field.
Check if the node is created in usual mapping, else map a constant with 2 spaces.
    DO something like this:
    Mapping ---------------->
                               equalsS ----> if
    constant(empty Value)--->
                      constant(2 spaces)--> then -> tgtField
                       Mapping -----------> else

  • Variance Analysis Help

    Dear All
I have created a Scenario to tackle variance analysis and called ActualvsBudget
    Example is
    Revenue
    Actual - Budget = Variance.
The problem I have is that the Favourable or Adverse variance works at accounte level however is distorted when consolidated.
    Example
    For Revenue
    Actual Revenue £20
    Budget Revenue £30
Variance = minus £10 (Adverse Variance) Because Revenue was less than expected.
    For Costs
    Actual Cost £30
    Budget Cost £50
Variance = plus £20 (Favourable Variance) - Because Costs are lower than expected.
    Gross Margin should Therefor be
    Actual (Revenue - Cost) = Minus £10
    Budget (Revenue - Cost) = Minus £20
Variance = plus £10 (Favourable Variance) As Gross Margin better than predicted.
So the Gross Margin Variance should be plus £10 as a favourable variance.
However when HFM consolidates it will calculate as follows.
minus 10 (revenue variance) minus +10 the cost variance analysis giving -20 variance on Gross Margin which is correct.
The only way I can see around this is to be able to calculate the parent just for that scenario but it will not let me do that.
Probably because not an input level account.
    Can anyone help.

    Hi,
Now for the finished good  create material cost estimate with quantity structure
Create standard cost estimate (marking and release to be carried out)
now for the same old process order in the cost analysis u can see different value for  total target cost
carry out confirmation  and u will get the total actual costs based on the activity types u have assigned
-Variance=(difference between  total target cost and total actual cost)
Variance related settings are done in consultation with Controlling people.

  • Couldn't assign target field for characteristics in PI sheet config

    Dear All,
I'm trying to configure PI sheet, i have created Process message categories as well as characteristics. Everything is working fine except the inputted value (for example weight, density) in PI sheet not getting transferred into process order. When i try to assign the destination message to the message characteristics, i couldn't find any value for the message categories which i created. System shows the below  error:
No entries found that match selection criteria
    Message no. SV004
Even if i try to assign manually, system shows with error
Corresponding entry in "Destinations/Message categories" missing
    Message no. SV534
    Steps i did :
    1. Created new Control Recipe destination(ZCR) ( by copying sap provided CRD "05")
    2. Created new characteristics group(ZMCG) for process message ( by copying sap provided group "PPPI_01") and released
    3. Created Characteristics (ex. weight, density) with chars. group as ZMCG
    4. Didn't create any new message destination (Trying to use defaut "PI01")
    5. Create New Process Message Category(ZTEST) and assign the characteristics (weight, density along with PPPI_PROCESS_ORDER)
The problem is i couldn't assign target field as "process order" to update the inputted values for the characteristics (weight, density) in O13C
I gone through all the node in "Process Management" but unfortunately i don't know where we have to assign this destination. I hope if i assign the destination message as "PI01"  with characteristics "PPPI_PROCESS_ORDER" along with target field as "PROCESS_ORDER" for the characteristics it may update into process order. How to assign the destination message for the message category?
    Thanks

    Hi Kumar,
Thanks. When i try to assign the destination message for the characteristics through O13C, i got the error message that "No entries found that match selection criteria". It means there is no characteristics with the combination of Process message category "ZTEST" with Destination as "PI01". If i trying to assign manually through "New entries" option, systems shows with the error "Corresponding entry in "Destinations/Message categories" missing.
    Thanks

  • End Routine - populating Target Field based on Master Data

    Hi,
I have an issue with my End Routine in BI 7.0. The scenario is as follows....
The Target-Fields ZSALES_OFFICE , 0SALES_CHANNEL etc. are being mapped 1:1 from their respective source fields. In addition to these target fields I have a target field 0SALESORG which I need to populate based on the values from 0COMP_CODE which is an attribute of ZSALES_OFFICE. The values of 0COMP_CODE are 9000, 9001, 9002 and 9003 respectively. The end routine condition needs to be implemented as follows...
For every 0COMP_CODE which has value 9000, 0SALESORG should be populated with the value "EAST". Similarly for every 0COMP_CODE which has value 9001, 0SALESORG should be populated with the value "WEST",  for every 0COMP_CODE which has value 9002, 0SALESORG should be populated with the value "NORTH" and  for every 0COMP_CODE which has value 9003, 0SALESORG should be populated with the value "SOUTH". I tried the following code but it doesnt seem to work. Could you pls help!!

  • Currency Translation in Planning sequence with variable for target currency

    Hello ,
i have a requirement, the cube contains multiple data in the Group Currency for multiple company codes. & I want to convert these amounts to another KF as local currency using planning sequence only (not using transformation, as the users want to do this when they require.)
For this, i defined a Aggr level , filter & Planning function with Currency translation selecting the source field as AMOUNT_GC & target field as AMOUNT_LC using the Currency Translation type ZCTGCLC.
The target currency is not know beforehand, as it depends on the company code of each records that comes in.
Hence, Currency translation type uses  a Customer exit variable 'Z_R_0026' for target currency.
This is customer exit variable which searches the Master data table of the Company code & replies back with the local currency of that particular company code (derived value from the company code variable also in teh filter).
However, when i execute this planning sequence, it gives me an error saying, "no value found for variable 'Z_R_0026'
    1. when edit the CMOD code, to return only say "EUR" the planning sequence runs fine. However when i use this select statement to fetch the corresponding value of the currency using the company code reference from the company code master data table, it gives the above error. it seems to be a problem with the select statement.
below is the code for that exit
    when 'Z_R_0026'.
         data: l_curr type /BI0/OICURRENCY.
         IF i_step = 2.
           LOOP AT i_t_var_range INTO loc_var_range
WHERE vnam = 'Z_S_0003'. " Company Code Single
             CLEAR l_s_range.
Filling Currency Key from Company Code
             select single currency
             from /bi0/pcomp_code
             into l_curr
             where comp_code = loc_var_range-low
             and objvers = 'A'.
             if sy-subrc = 0.
               l_s_range-low = l_curr.
             else.
               l_s_range-low      = 'ABC'.
             endif.
             l_s_range-opt      = 'EQ'.
             l_s_range-sign     = 'I'.
             APPEND l_s_range TO e_t_range.
             clear l_s_range.
             EXIT.
           ENDLOOP.
         ENDIF.
    2. there is a option of using infoobject for target currency in the RSCUR itself, however, when i try to input the 0COMP_CODE for finding the attribute currency from this infoobject, it doesnt accept.
has anyone tried this earlier ?
    Any help/suggestions , guys, pls?
    Thanks
    John

    Hi Praveen ,
    Thanks for that.
    I have a Question.
If RSCUR were to only accept a Date InfoObject , it would be placed under a differnt heading.
The Tab is "Currrency"  & the sub-Tab is "Target Currency"
so i guess, it should accept other infoObjects as well.
Moreover, the help on that InfoObject buttons says
"Specification of an InfoObject (Characteristic) in which a currency
attribute is stored in InfoObject maintenance. At runtime, the
associated currency attribute is determined using the characteristic
value and this is interpreted as source or target currency."
& i have already defined 0currency as a attribute of 0comp_code. so this should work ideally.
almost similiar CMOD code i have used for other too, but i dont know why only this one is getting struck.
    any help, pls.
    Thanks
    John

            USAGE:
            stampinf -f filename [-s section] [-d <xx/yy/zzzz> | *]
                     -a architecture -n [-c catalogfile]
                                 [-v <w.x.y.z> | *]
                                 [-k nnnnn] [-u nnnnn]
                                 [-i path]
-f  specifies the INF file to process
-s  specifies the INF section to place the DriverVer= directive.  By
default this directive is placed in the [Version] section.
-d  specifies the date written in the DriverVer= directive.  Note that
a '*' given for a date value means for stampinf to write the
current date. If the date is not specified, the date is taken
                from the STAMPINF_DATE environment variable.
-v  specifies the version written in the DriverVer= directive. Note
that a '*' given for a version value means for stampinf to write
the current time (h.m.s.ms).  This is useful during development
in order to get increasing version numbers. If the version is not
specified, its value is taken from the STAMPINF_VERSION
                environment variable.
-a  specifies the architecture string to replace the $ARCH$ keyword.
The $ARCH$ keyword is used to tailor a TargetOSVersion decoration
in a [Manufacturer] section, as well as its respective section
name, to a specific platform. If no value is specified, stampinf
takes its value from the _BuildArch environment variable.
-c  specifies the value to be written in the CatalogFile= directive
in the [Version] section. By default, this directive is not
                written.
-k  specifies the version of KMDF that this driver depends on.  This
is used to tailor the KmdfLibraryVersion & KMDF co-installer name
in the INF. This will replace the $KMDFVERSION$ and
$KMDFCOINSTALLERVERSION$ keywords in the INF.  The string is of
                the format:
                    <major_version>.<minor_version>
As an example, supplying 1.5 as the version string will result in
values of 1.5 and 01005 for the two keywords (respectively).
-u  specifies the version of UMDF that this driver depends on.  This
is used to tailor the UmdfLibraryVersion & UMDF co-installer name
in the INF. This will replace the $UMDFVERSION$ and
$UMDFCOINSTALLERVERSION$ keywords in the INF.  The string is of
                the format:
                    <major_version>.<minor_version>.<service_version>
                (where service_version is generally zero)
As an example, supplying 1.5.0 as the version string will result
in values of 1.5.0 and 01005 for the two keywords (respectively).
-i  specifies the location of ntverp.h file.
                path represent the fully qualified
location of the directory containing ntverp.h.
-n  noisy mode shows verbose stampinf output
-x  removes the coinstaller tag from the file and replaces the line w
      ith a ";"
            NOTES:
The environment variable PRIVATE_DRIVER_PACKAGE can be set to
enable stampinf's 'developer mode' behavior. When this is
set, the date and version used for DriverVer is set to the
current date and time, regardless of the command line
settings. Also, 'CatalogFile=delta.cat' is written to the
version section, unless a catalog was already specified
            with '-c'.

      Updates common INF file directives
            USAGE:
            stampinf -f filename [-s section] [-d <xx/yy/zzzz> | *]
                     -a architecture -n [-c catalogfile]
                                 [-v <w.x.y.z> | *]
                                 [-k nnnnn] [-u nnnnn]
                                 [-i path]
-f  specifies the INF file to process
-s  specifies the INF section to place the DriverVer= directive.  By
default this directive is placed in the [Version] section.
-d  specifies the date written in the DriverVer= directive.  Note that
a '*' given for a date value means for stampinf to write the
current date. If the date is not specified, the date is taken
                from the STAMPINF_DATE environment variable.
-v  specifies the version written in the DriverVer= directive. Note
that a '*' given for a version value means for stampinf to write
the current time (h.m.s.ms).  This is useful during development
in order to get increasing version numbers. If the version is not
specified, its value is taken from the STAMPINF_VERSION
                environment variable.
-a  specifies the architecture string to replace the $ARCH$ keyword.
The $ARCH$ keyword is used to tailor a TargetOSVersion decoration
in a [Manufacturer] section, as well as its respective section
name, to a specific platform. If no value is specified, stampinf
takes its value from the _BuildArch environment variable.
-c  specifies the value to be written in the CatalogFile= directive
in the [Version] section. By default, this directive is not
                written.
-k  specifies the version of KMDF that this driver depends on.  This
is used to tailor the KmdfLibraryVersion & KMDF co-installer name
in the INF. This will replace the $KMDFVERSION$ and
$KMDFCOINSTALLERVERSION$ keywords in the INF.  The string is of
                the format:
                    <major_version>.<minor_version>
As an example, supplying 1.5 as the version string will result in
values of 1.5 and 01005 for the two keywords (respectively).
-u  specifies the version of UMDF that this driver depends on.  This
is used to tailor the UmdfLibraryVersion & UMDF co-installer name
in the INF. This will replace the $UMDFVERSION$ and
$UMDFCOINSTALLERVERSION$ keywords in the INF.  The string is of
                the format:
                    <major_version>.<minor_version>.<service_version>
                (where service_version is generally zero)
As an example, supplying 1.5.0 as the version string will result
in values of 1.5.0 and 01005 for the two keywords (respectively).
-i  specifies the location of ntverp.h file.
                path represent the fully qualified
location of the directory containing ntverp.h.
-n  noisy mode shows verbose stampinf output
-x  removes the coinstaller tag from the file and replaces the line w
      ith a ";"
            NOTES:
The environment variable PRIVATE_DRIVER_PACKAGE can be set to
enable stampinf's 'developer mode' behavior. When this is
set, the date and version used for DriverVer is set to the
current date and time, regardless of the command line
settings. Also, 'CatalogFile=delta.cat' is written to the
version section, unless a catalog was already specified
            with '-c'.

  • Problem with flow of expandable fields

    Hi everyone,
I have important problem with flow of expandable fields in table in dynamic PDF form. The issue I am talking about you can see at the top of column 3 on page 2 in PDF in link below.
Here is uploaded PDF form and sample XML data (form has import button and is ReaderExtended that you can easily test it and see my problem):
    http://www.speedyshare.com/718224676.html
Generally I have created table with 3 columns using Table object (each field has allow multiple lines selected and expand to fit).  It is closed in FormBody subform which is flowed subform.
Row in table is repeatable and has “is allow to break page” setting set on.
Sometimes when there is a lot of text and row page break there is problem with flow.
For example text from one rows overlaps on text from next row.
I tried to solve this problem by changing row height, indents, font size, line spacing but always when I thought that I have fixed it  I got another data which generated the same flow problem.
Did anyone met this problem earlier and found solution to this issue? This is really important for me and I am really in dead end so any hints would be really helpful.
I am using Adobe Livecycle Designer 8.1 and PDF form target is 8.
I really appreciate any help in this problem.
    Thanks,
    Kamil Dłutowski

I posted link to my form in my first post.

  • Runtime error in Dynamic internal table with AMOUNT and Quantity Fields..

    Dear friends,
I am attempting write a dymanic Select Statement (with joins).
And the sleect query looks like this..
      SELECT (LT_SEL_LIST)
      INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF
      TABLE <DYN_TABLE>
      FROM (LT_FROM_LIST)
      WHERE (LT_WHERE3).
Here the into table is a dynamically created internal table..
    which is created by ...this
    CALL METHOD CL_ALV_TABLE_CREATE=>CREATE_DYNAMIC_TABLE
        EXPORTING
          IT_FIELDCATALOG = IT_OUTPUT2[]
        IMPORTING
          EP_TABLE        = DY_TABLE.
the it_output2 contains the the fieldcatlog information of dynamically given fields :-
    like:-
           TABNAME
           FIELDNAME
           DATATYPE
           LENG
           INTTYPE
           ROLLNAME
           DECIMALS
           REFTABLE
           REFFIELD
i mean the internal table is constructed with reference to all the bove metadata.
Problem:- This query run fine with all the fields Except AMOUNT AND QUANTITY fields....
When the selection list contain VBAK-NETWR or MSEG-MENGE..It throws a runtime error.
"The data read during a SLECT access couldnt be inserted into the target field, either conversion is not supported for
the target field's type or the target field is too short."
after this I even tried to construct the dynamic table with CFILEDNAME and QFIELDNAME in the Fieldcatalog.
so now my fieldcatlog looks like this:---
    LOOP AT IT_DD03L..
      IF IT_DD03L-DATATYPE = 'CURR'.
           TABLEFIELD-CFIELDNAME = IT_DD03L-FIELDNAME .
           ENDIF.
       IF IT_FIELDCAT3-DATATYPE = 'QUAN'.
           TABLEFIELD-QFIELDNAME = IT_DD03L-FIELDNAME .
      ENDIF.
           TABLEFIELD-TABNAME     = IT_DD03L-TABNAME.
           TABLEFIELD-FIELDNAME   = IT_DD03L-FIELDNAME.
           TABLEFIELD-DATATYPE    = IT_DD03L-DATATYPE.
           TABLEFIELD-INTLEN      = IT_DD03L-LENG.
           TABLEFIELD-INTTYPE     = IT_DD03L-INTTYPE .
           TABLEFIELD-ROLLNAME    = IT_DD03L-ROLLNAME.
           TABLEFIELD-DECIMALS    = IT_DD03L-DECIMALS.
           TABLEFIELD-REF_TABLE   = IT_DD03L-REFTABLE.
           TABLEFIELD-REF_FIELD   = IT_DD03L-REFFIELD.
    APPEND TABLEFIELD.
    CLEAR TABLEFIELD.
    ENDLOOP.
Note:- this is a test code so ignore performance issues...
Please help me with some code ...to avoid the Runtime erorr.
    Thanks,
    jeevan.

    Hi Jeevan,
Why are moving only few fields from DD03L table to your field catalog? Why don't you use move-corresponding? The following code works for me in ECC6.0.
data: it_dd03l type table of dd03l initial size 0,
          ls_dd03l type dd03l,
          lt_fldcat TYPE lvc_t_fcat,
          ls_fldcat TYPE lvc_s_fcat,
          ls_where(72) TYPE c,
          lt_where LIKE TABLE OF ls_where,
          lt_fld LIKE TABLE OF ls_where,
          lt_data_dy TYPE REF TO data.
    field-symbols: <ft_data> TYPE STANDARD TABLE.
    select * into table it_dd03l from dd03l
        where tabname = 'VBAK'
and ( fieldname = 'VBELN' or fieldname = 'NETWR' ).
    check sy-subrc eq 0.
    loop at it_dd03l into ls_dd03l.
      move-corresponding ls_dd03l to ls_fldcat.
      append ls_fldcat to lt_fldcat.
      move ls_dd03l-fieldname to ls_where.
      append ls_where to lt_fld.
      if ls_dd03l-fieldname = 'VBELN'.
        clear ls_where.
        concatenate ls_dd03l-fieldname ' <> ''''' into ls_where.
        append ls_where to lt_where.
      endif.
    endloop.
    check not lt_fldcat is initial.
    CALL METHOD cl_alv_table_create=>create_dynamic_table
          EXPORTING
            it_fieldcatalog           = lt_fldcat
          IMPORTING
            ep_table                  = lt_data_dy
          EXCEPTIONS
            generate_subpool_dir_full = 1
            OTHERS                    = 2.
        IF sy-subrc <> 0.
          RAISE no_configuration_data.
        ENDIF.
        ASSIGN lt_data_dy->*  TO <ft_data>.
    check sy-subrc eq 0.
select (lt_fld) from VBAK into corresponding fields of table
        <ft_data>
        where (lt_where).
    Thanks
    Bala
