Variant issue of IP19 through Structure

Dear Experts,
There is an observation.
When I run the transaction IP19, the selection screen appears as the default variant has been set.
But when I go to this selection screen through IH01>Envoronment>Maintenance Planning-->Scheduling overview the default selection parameters change (Means the screen variant is different).
What is the setting by which I get same selection screen at both places ?

Whether I can preset the values in the General Object Selection screen area when gone through IH01 ?*
The FL will be automatically filled because our main aim is that.

Issues with Bex query structures and Crystal Reports/Webi

Hi experts,
I'm having an issue with Bex Query structures and nulls. I've built a Crystal Report against a Bex query that uses a Bex Query structure. The structure looks like the following
Budget $
Budget %
Actual $
Actual %
Budget YTD
etc
if I drag the structure into the Crystal Report detail section with a key figure it displays like this
Budget $     <null>
Budget %     <null>
Actual $     300
Actual %     85
Budget YTD     250
the null values are displayed (and this is what is required). However if I filter using a Record selection or group on a profit centre then the nulls along with the associated structure component are not displayed.
Actual $     300
Actual %     85
Budget YTD     250
Webi is also behaving similarly. Can anyone explain why the above is happening and suggest a solution either on the Bex side of things or on the Crystal Reports side of things? I'm confused as to why nulls are displayed in the first example and not the second.

Hi,
Crystal Reports and Web Intelligence will only show data which is in the cube. You could have an actual 0 or Null entry whithout grouping but by changing the selection / grouping in the report the data does not include such entry anymore.

i am facing issue in reservation through maintenance order.
i want that reservation is created after release of maintenance order.is it possible through SPRO or i have to use some user exit.

Hi Sid
First download the latest version of Jdeveloper (10.1.3.3).
Set up the BAM connectivity.
Create an Activity sensor from Structure pane (located in the Bottom/left corner of Jdev)
Create a Bam Sensor action and assign to the activity sensor.BAM sesnso action wizard will take you to a new window where you have to define your bam object and the activity you wanted to do (like INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE etc).
After that you will have to map your variable with the BAM object.
Then Press OK.
Please make sure the version of Jdevloper.It should be 10.1.3.3.

Having issues sending mail through mac mail on my imac .Have 4 accounts

I am having issues sending emails through mac mail. Have 4 accounts and they are all having same issues
Can receive mail ok
have tired rebuilding the mail box but no improvment.
i need to shut down system and restart to be able to send mail.

I tried something similar by adding a new mail account doing the apple id etc but it worked in that it would look for mail but no mail would come even though mail still goes to my phone I was loath to delete my original account just in case the new one did not work as well. So I guess I am a little stuck now.. I hope you can help me to sort it out.

This is not a correct way of using the varying addition. Your fields should belong to the same structure...
something like:

Issue in tranforming Idoc structure using XSLT mapping

I am working on the XSLT Mapping to transform the IDoc xml to the desired format.
Source structure single Idoc:
EDI_DC40 record
E1EDKxx records
E1EDPxx records
E1EDSxx records
suppose I have 4 E1EDP01 records, of which 2 are Original and next two are corresponding Correction E1EDP01 records.
I want the target Idoc to be:
EDI_DC40 record
E1EDKxx records and for (E1EDK14/ORGID = G2O)
E1EDPxx records (1st Original E1EDP01 segment)
E1EDSxx records
E1EDKxx records for (E1EDK14/ORGID = G2)
E1EDPxx records (1st corresponding correction E1EDP01 segment)
E1EDSxx records
E1EDKxx records for (E1EDK14/ORGID = G2O)
E1EDPxx records (2nd Original E1EDP01 segment)
E1EDSxx records

How to achieve the above scenario. I am finding issue in generating and correlating the E1EDP01 segments using <key> element. and changing the vales in E1EDK14
Also does XSLT supports Dynamic Configuration for File Name ?

Issues playing video through USB on 58M9363D 4k TV

Hi there,
I recently purchased the 4k 58M9363D and I am loving it so far. However I do have some serious issues with playing video from both USB and through my pc. They do ruin the experience at the moment and hopefully they can be fixed. So here goes!
Whenever I try to play a mp4 file through USB it says format is not supported, this is especially painful when all 4k content I could find seems to be in the mp4 format.
Another issue I get is with playing 3D movies from usb.
Sometimes they play perfectly fine but often I get strange long lines at the bottom of the screen, making is unwatchable.
It doesn't seem to be a format issue as I tried mostly mkv files that work half the time and the other half I get the same distorted screen.
Lastly, I can't seem to play 3D movies from my pc.
When I turn on a SBS video and press the 3d button on the remote I just get a double SBS screen that looks converted from 2D to 3D, instead of them merging into a single actual 3D image.
Can anyone tell me how to fix these issues?

In Toshiba M8365 user manual (page 94/95) you can find the details about the supported media format, video codec, file extension, etc

The MP4 media format is definitely supported.
The following video codecs in connection with mp4 file format should be used: H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC) or MPEG-4 part12,14
Regarding the 3D support (over HDMI):
Take a look on page 96. There you can find info about the supported 3D resolution, aspect ratio and 3D structure (Side by Side (Half), Side by Side (Full), Top and Bottom)
The possible 3D structure depends on the movie resolution.

Issue while posting through MIRO

I am posting through MIRO.
I am using two POs in MIRO from different contracts.
When I add them for one PO amount and QTY feild is filled up properly,
but for other the value of QYT is filled into amount and qty field.
Could any one help in solving this issue.

You ae trying to post two POs from different contracts (i assume for same vednor)
When you allocate the first PO, everythin is fine
when you subsequently allocate the second PO, the vale and qty fields are not populated properly.
Is this right?
What values are going to the qty and value fields of second PO?

IPod Nano 7G - Issue controlling music through Bluetooth

I recently bought a 7th gen iPod Nano for running, but I'm also using for music in my car through Bluetooth.
I have a problem where if I'm listening to music with shuffle on and I skip the track using the cars skip buttons shuffle is turned off and the iPod starts going through the album/playlist sequentially. I previously had my iPhone connected instead and didn't have this problem at all, so it can't be the car sending the wrong signals...
Anybody experience similar issues?

I am trying to create a PSA deletion variant for the datasource 80CUST_SALEST, It is a BW Export Datasource,
We are in BI EHP1 7.01 SP3, I am getting a error like "Object name 0CUST_SALEST after the prefix
start with ABC...XYZ". it is not allowing me to save the PSA variant.
I also had a similar type of issue when creation for 1_COPA Datasources which was resolved by the OSS 1309619.
Can you please suggest me or advice me of any OSS notes/remedies for this issue.

Issue in Preview through XML forms having TinyMCE editor

Hello Experts,
I have one issue in our client portal, which is really giving me hard time to resolve.
So I have come to you experts for helping me to resolve this issue.
So below are the details of the issue.
Actually it goes like that, we are using B.Texx Framework in our Client Portal Environment and most of the work is done by the users in the portal, who has author rights. Please note that Authors have the right to Edit and save the content.
Most of the things are made on XML forms, with the help of Java Scripts.
Now there is one XML form(Add General Content), through which users add the general contents and there is one template provided to the user for that content. The XML forms are integrated here with the Tiny MCE editor.
Now, there is one link (Insert/edit link) in the Tiny MCE editor, when we write some text in the body and select the text, the link in the editor gets activated and when we click on the link, a pop up comes up, in which there is a browse button, through which we select the Navigation Element Link , which takes us in the navigation of the portal content(the way it is viewed by user in the portal according to the roles ), showing us different content and we select an content and press finished. Now the selected text becomes as a link in the body of xml form, then we fill up the title and there is one preview button. When we click on the preview button, the link is displayed to us.But when we click on that link nothing happens.
Please note that if we save that form, the links appears on portal and we are able to navigate through the link.
For this I have checked the js file(xmlformpreview_redirect.js) responsible.I am sharing the code of the js file below.

Variant Issue in Abap Program

I came across this strange issue with Variants: Please let me know if anyone has come cross this issue.
Issue: I select a variant for a Zreport which has email address in the selection screen. Now i select another variant in which there is no email address but still i see the email address. basically the first variant value is being passed when i select the second variant.
Code:
SELECTION-SCREEN : BEGIN OF BLOCK em WITH FRAME TITLE text-307.
PARAMETERS: p_send TYPE char1 AS CHECKBOX DEFAULT ''.
SELECT-OPTIONS :s_emails FOR somlreci1-receiver NO INTERVALS.
SELECTION-SCREEN : END OF BLOCK em.

Try creating the variant again,
Step1: enter an email address and then save
Step2: name the variant as var1 and then save
Step3: now remove the email address and then save
Step4: name the variant as var2 and then save.
Step5: refresh by /n followed by the T code
Step6: try it out now with both the variants

Issue seeking & scrubbing through a very large FLV

BACKGROUND
I am working with a flash developer on a project where we
need to playback, scrub and seek through a 2 hour video. The
developer is controlling a locally stored 3.3 GB FLV file using the
netstream command. The FLV specs are: 640x480x29.97FPS encoded w/
key frames every 12 frames to support ½ second seek accuracy.
PROBLEMS
It feels like the there is some caching mechanism fighting
against our seek performance past the first few minutes of the
video.
1) The first time we seek to any point past the first few
minutes there is a long one-time delay. If we go to the 30 minute
mark, it takes 10-15 seconds to cue the video. However, after that
one delay, subsequent seeks from 0-30 minutes are immediate.
2) If we seek or scrub past ~5300 seconds, go back to the
start and then try to go past the 5300 mark the seek delay happens
again. So after "warming the movie up" we can quickly seek through
the first half until we attempt to pass the magic 5300 second mark.
I could live with problem #1 but #2 is a deal breaker. Here
are some more data points:
TESTS
1) SMALLER FLV: If I compress the movie to 2.75 GB I can seek
further in before running into the above problem (6300 seconds)
2) LARGER BUFFER: Setting a large pre-load buffer solved the
performance issues but there is no way we have enough RAM to
preload the entire video. (We tried and it crashed).
3) MEMORY OBSERVATIONS: When we seeked to 30 minutes, we did
NOT notice a jump in memory usage while waiting for the video to
cue.
Does anyone have any ideas on this one? My gut is telling me
that Flash is building some kind of time code lookup table on the
fly and it is arbitrarily limited in size.

That's a tough one. Acrobat is not designed for tiling PDF files to create another PDF. That's really what you're asking. There is the option to PRINT to a PDF, and turn on the Poster feature. If were in Windows where there is a real Adobe PDF printer driver, you could probably use that feature. But for various reasons (too complicated to describe here), that was withdrawn on the Macintosh.
If you have a copy of Adobe InDesign, and if you installed an Adobe PDF 9 PPD file (see description below), it could be done in a somewhat awkward way. InDesign allows you to place PDF files so you would need to make a page of the proper size and place your large PDF:
Then after installing the Adobe PDF 9 PPD file, you could choose File > Print. Then choose to print a PostScript file to the Adobe PDF 9.0 PPD file. In the Setup panel, you'd choose a Letter size page. Then you'd choose the Tile option at the bottom and set the Overlap amount:
Then you'd save the PostScript file and process through Distiller.
