Variant of program is not the current version

Hi
When the program started in CCS, it has been cancelled and giving the "Variant of program is not the current version" . how can i solve this and where ill get the soln for this type of error.

you did not give much details about your problem. where you got this error, which program ? what are you trying to do ??
If this is an ABAP Program,you can always create a new variant directly in QA & PRD
SE 38 > Progrma name > Execute (if you have selection screen) > enter your new selections > 'Goto' menu > Save as variant > give new name > Save
If you dont have selection screen in your program
SE 38 > Program Name > Change/ Display > Goto > Variants > Create

when User try to run SE16 - they are receiving messages similar to the one below, when they attempt to select a saved variant.
Variant VOUCHER LIST of program /1BCDWB/DBBKPF is not the current version

Diagnosis
You attempted to start report /1BCDWB/DBBKPF using variant VOUCHER LIST. Since thisvariant was generated, the report SELECT-OPTIONS or PARAMETERs havechanged considerably, i.e. the type or length no longer match andPARAMETERs have become SELECT-OPTIONS or vice versa. Many of thesechanges are so serious that even attempting to import the variantresults in runtime errors.
Procedure
Adjust or delete the variant.
Users are seeing a similar error when they try any table (BKFP is the one above, but have seen on table VBAK, VBAP, etc.).
Pls suggest the solution of this problem.

This would happen when the selection screen of the table got change. Like when users had saved the variant, there were 5 fields on the selection screen but eventually it got changed to more or less fields.
The only way, I can think of is to recreate all the variants.
To get rid of this problem, you can use transaction SE16N instead of the SE16.
Here You can save the variant by pressing the SAVE button.
To get the variant: Enter Table name, Go to > Variants > Get. Select your variant.

One more thing to add, if the variant is changed purposefully,
Go to
SE38
For the Program,
1. select the variant 'RADIO BUTTON'
2. Click 'Display'.
3. On the Menu, Click 'Variants'.
4. Click on 'Adjust'.
5. Now, Click the 'Execute' button.
Execute the Program with the Variant now.
This should resolve the isssue.

Need Shockwave 11, not the current version, which is 12.

...adobes web site has a link to old version of shockwave, however, when I click the link for version 11 it actually installs version 12. I have a few programs that will not run using version 12. Thus, I am in search of a working link to 11. help! Thx.

Does anyone have more info on what causes this?
We have a very old program written in Director which I updated and converted to Shockwave 11 web format several years ago. Now I find it does not play in the latest versions of Shockwave. When I opened, and converted, the .dir files in Director 12 and published again they still did not play,
On a (resurrected) Mac G5 running 10.5, Firefox3 and Shockwave 11 the program plays fine.
On an old Mac Pro OS 10.6, with curent Safari and Firefox and Shockwave 12.0.3 it mostly works but has some issues.
On current Mac, or windows box, with current browsers, latest Shockwave the basics mostly work but generally the animations don't work and a lot of 'click to next' items don't work, but this is very variable on different platforms.
Needs to be fixed. Where do I start?
( I know the basics of Director but havn't used it for years)

WorkFlow is not the current version

Hi everyone,
I created a workflow that runs in a library in SP 2013 when a item is created or changed. But, I need to do some changes in my workflow context, like change the approver.
After I published this workflow and try to create a new document in the library, the workflow sets the older approver to the task. I've aready deleted the old versions of my workflow, but did not work.
Does anyone have any idea about it

E-mailed File "The project is not compatible with the current version of Premiere Elements"

I have Version 12 on a PC.
My friend has Version 12 on a MAC.
E-mailed him a file.
He could not open, and a message box popped up: "The project is not compatible with the current version of Premiere Elements".
Could someone kindly asssit, this does not make sense as to why it is not opening, since both computers are using the same version.

As said, you cannot open a Premiere Elements 12 Windows project file (named project.prel) in Premiere Elements 12 Mac. And vice versa.
Details
Given that your source is imported into a Premiere Elements 12 Windows project and placed on its Timeline for edit. That Timeline content cannot get out of the program without export. Export choices are found in the Publish+Share section of the program.
In your case, you want to take the Timeline content of Premiere Elements 12 Windows and export it to a format with which Premiere Elements 12 Mac supports (look at .mov or .mp4). In this regard, in Premiere Elements 12 Windows look at Publish+Share/Computer/AVCHD and one of its .mp4 presets or Publish+Share/Computer/QuickTime and one of its .mov presets (suggested H.264 video codec).
Those exports will be saved to the computer hard drive of the Windows computer. Then email the .mov or .mp4 file (beforehand, check the
email carrier's specification for that). Depending on the circumstances, you could transfer the file to a USB Flash Drive for the sharing.
Remember, sharing the .mov and .mp4 involves "whole" video. Depending on the edits, the video may need to be cut by the receipent. You are not dealing with the project file. The story would be different if this sharing and editing is done from Premiere Elements Windows to Premiere Elements Windows. And, if that were the case, then you would have to assure that the source media of the project traveled with the project file. (See Project Archiver feature of the program.)
That is a rough sketch of the situation. I can fine tune the details further if necessary.

I have updated to Firefox 8.01, and confirmed that this is the current version. However, both Google and Firefox do not recognize my current verision -- these sites indicate my version is 3.5.7. Why?

I have updated (more than once) to Firefox Version 8.01. When I check Firefox Help:About, it confirms the version number and indicates that this is the current version. On Google, however, when I try to use G-Mail or +Google, gives me a message that my version of Firefox is no longer supported (and provides a link to download the current version). Additionally, Firefox itself, when I tried to use the Help:Submit Feedback menu option, indicates that I cannot use that option until I have first upgraded to the current version. Apparently, although I have upgraded, there is some marker or indicator that has not been updated from a previous version to indicate to websites which version of this browser is running on my machine. I would like to get this resolved, as it is keeping me from doing a few things I would like to do. By the way, I just looked at the dialog box below, following the comment "we've made some educated guesses about your current browser ..." it, too, indicates that my current version is 3.5.7.

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. My ipod touch 3rd gen will not update to 4.3. It says it is the current version

when i try to update my ipod touch 3rd gen to 4.3 on itunes it says "your ipod is up to date" and "this is the currnet version". But when i try to buy certain apps it says "you must have version 4.3 to download this app" what do i do? i have 4.2 and i have even clicked the "check for update" button and waited for the automatic update check but it always says its the current version even though its not! please help me!

You appear to have a second generation iPod touch, not a third, and those can't be updated past 4.2.1. Apple sold 8GB second generation models at the same time as the third generation ones.

We have installed FIM MA with an account that have all the sufficient rights.It got created successfully and worked for Full Import and Full Sync. But, due to some version incompatabilities, we have installed a patch.PFB link for the patch.

Now, we are trying to refresh the schema of FIM MA. While doing that we are facing an error "Failed to connect to database". The user account with which we are connecting has read and write permissions on DB.In the event viewer some errors are

seems to me that you maybe only updated the syncengine but not portal/webservice.
I had that error once after an recovery from scratch and forgot one of the hotfixes to apply to all services.

You need to uninstall the Community / Conduit toolbar add-on.
Locate the files in bold print and move them to the Trash. The first five are in your root /Library
/Library/Application Support/Conduit
/Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
/Library/ScriptingAddtions (anything CTLoader realted)
/Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg
/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle
The next one is in your Home folder.
~/Library/Application Support/Conduit
When you're done, try Safari.

I also managed to read a few other discussions about Pages and files not being able to open. I actually went to the last back-up and restored the computer from that and everything seemed to work ok again, which is great!...advice from another discussion I think you may have been involved in PeterB. Thanks for the advice...also this advice, as I will make a note of trying to open using the Shift key if it happens again and see what happens...might be an easier first option than restoring from a back-up. Thans heaps for the help!
I was interested to read some of the other discussions where it was stated that Pages '09 seems to be a better option to use. I have both installed, so I will lkeep this in mind. Thanks heaps!
