  • LMS Error(?)

    Hi,
    Viewing unto the Communication Log of our LMS, I see this following line of code:
    cmi.suspend_data = Z1Enone%24nP1Enone%24nP1Enone%24nP1Enone%.....
    Looking at it makes me think this is actually an error, anybody who could explain me anything about this?As well as the prefered solution or work around?
    Thanks.

    It's not an error. Captivate stores stuff (interaction data) in suspend_data when you run the course in an LMS.

  • Dell Inspiron 7537 - Resume from sleep causes various dmesg errors

    Hi,
    I'm getting various acpi and intel video driver errors upon resume from sleep. The system does come up and I haven't found any functional problems that this is causing. I think the acpi errors may just be causing some devices to drain more power than is necessary. I have tried various live CD's from Ubuntu, Sabayon, and Fedora and they all have these same symptoms. Can anyone help with this, particularly anyone with the same laptop model who may have fixed these issues?
    Thanks,
    D

    I also bought a Dell Inspiron 15 7537 and I had the same problem as OP, but on Fedora 21 64-bit with Gnome 3.14. I haven't tried any other distros or DEs. However, both Arch and Fedora run systemd, so I think my solution work the same on both systems. I fixed it by doing the following steps:
    1. Create a script that reloads the kernel module hid_multitouch.
    $ sudo mkdir /opt/touchscreen-fix
    $ cd /opt/touchscreen-fix
    $ echo '#!/bin/sh
    /sbin/rmmod hid_multitouch && /sbin/modprobe hid_multitouch' | sudo tee resume.sh
    $ sudo chmod +x resume.sh
    Executing this script after a resume will make the touchscreen work again. However, it will of course not run automatically after a resume.
    2. Schedule the script to run after resume.
    Create the systemd service file:
    $ echo '[Unit]
    Description=Fix touchscreen after resume
    After=suspend.target
    [Service]
    Type=simple
    ExecStart=/opt/touchscreen-fix/resume.sh
    [Install]
    WantedBy=suspend.target' | sudo tee /etc/systemd/system/touchscreen-fix.service
    Enable it:
    $ sudo systemctl daemon-reload
    $ sudo systemctl enable touchscreen-fix
    Done! And that's all! I'm not sure if you also might need to restart the computer for it to work.
    To accomplish this I used the following resources:

  • LMS - Error while booking Attendee for a Course

    Hi All,
    I am getting a strange error while trying to book employees to a Course (E). When I right click on Participation menu>Select Book> Select any Employee and then click on the 'Book' icon I get the following error  -
    "USER CANCELED MAINTENANCE;NO CHANGE EXECUTED'.
    I am getting this error for any course or any employee. What may be the reason ?
    Thanks
    Sanghamitra

    This is due to a missing number range.
    Check your configuration under SPRO :
    Learning Solution --> Training Management --> Basic Settings -->Number Range Maintenance --> Define Number Range for Course Participation Document
    hope it helps and let me know if it works:)

  • Quicktime/Various program errors?

    Hi all,
    we recently updated to Leapard and have run into various software conflicts.
    The main problem I need help solving is with Quicktime. We use Quicktime Pro to record video and audio from a live event. We have had the problem the last two weeks where we will open Quicktime and, for some unbeknownst reason, it will be unresponsive. Force Quitting does nothing, and it appears that the program stays open, but when you try to click on any of the menus they do not open. The only remedy is to restart the computer, to which we never know if the problem will reappear or even WHEN it will reappear. The computer we are using is actually a MacBook Pro with the Intel Processor (sorry, don't have the exact details in front of me).
    Our Leapard software has all of the updates, and we never had this problem on Tiger. Is this a software conflict, and how can we fix it?
    I've noticed other programs doing quirky things... IE, Photoshop CS3 won't allow me to scroll through my fonts box with the arrow keys, or I can type in the text size box to change my font size, but nothing will change.
    Any help?

    These software conflicts could be due to some inconsistency the Leopard upgrade caused in the System folder. Doing a clean "Archive & Install" of Leopard will probably fix your problems.

  • Capturing various standard errors using openscript

    Hi , we have automized a scenario using openscript where in the steps are like starting from creating requistion --> Req approval --> PO creation and approval --> Receipt Creation --> Invoice Creation and then quick payment.
    when we playback the script it works fine with valid data inputs from databank. But we want to capture all the standard errors if any occurs in between when script playback. For eg : if Invoice batch name entered already exists in system it throws a warning like name already exists. At this step scripts fails but it capturing some error which end user wont understand. By anyway we can capture all the standard errors that can occur during functional testing. I mean we cannot write custom exception for each situation and may not what kind of errors we may face. So is there any way we can capture all the standard errors during functional testing using openscript/OTM. The platform we are using is Oracle Applicaitions ERP R12, open script 12.2

  • Various BSOD Errors

    Hi all, I have noticed a recent issue that came with my last update of Skype.  Whenever I end calls, I get a Blue Screen of Death with varying errors, including irql_not_less_or_equal and others (that I cannot remember right now).  If other people end calls, I'm alright.  It only happens when I end a call.
    I have tried reinstalling several times, updating my drivers (uninstalling and reinstalling drivers), and I don't know what else I can possibly do.  Anyone got any advice?
    By the way, my OS is Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium

    Please,  run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit mode).
    Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
    Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

  • Various installation errors

    These don't appear to be serious, but several programs (notably photoshop, illustrator) installed with similar errors.
    1) are these a big deal/something to worry about?
    2) what can I do to fix these types of errors?

  • Various Certification Errors

    We are managing a cluster of servers for a client (2008 R2). An Exchange certificate expired recently. Tried to renew this using the Certification Authority console on the Domain Controller/CA after generating a request on the Exchange server, but received
    the error "Error Parsing Request. A required certificate is not within its validity period when verifying against the current system clock or the timestamp in the signed file. 0x800b0101 (-2146762495).
    Checking the certificates on the DC, it would appear these also expired at around the same time. I believe these were imported from the previous DC/CA which was a 2003 R2 server.
    I haven't had much dealings with Certification Authority in the past, so could do with a bit of assistance. What is the best way to get these certificates renewed/replaced so that the DC/CA can do its job properly again?

    By definition you cannot renew an expired certificate. You will need to
    request new ones to replace the old one.

  • Various Runtime errors

    When viewing webpages that contain Java (I think) I seem to get a huge variety of runtime errors. Sometimes I get several at a time with just one page and the page won't load. It says "cannot execute".
    There are so many runtime errors I can't list them here and I can't find a new version of Java Virtual Machine on the Microsoft website anywhere.
    Does anyone know why it would start doing this with nearly every webpage and so suddenly? It wasn't happening at all and then one day it just started doing it and never stops.
    What do I need to do?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Various TED errors

    We've got our lab setup and are experiencing further errors after
    rebuilding the entire lab from scratch.
    Setup:
    NW6.5 running eDirectory
    OES SP2 acting as the subscriber
    We got to a point yesterday where we were creating MSI apps which were
    being pulled in from a non NSS volume on the OES server. We had created
    the MSI application objects and gone through the process of creating the
    distribution and channel objects and saw this error in the log:
    2006.09.06 15:32:25 [TED:Event Processing] Gather
    test-distro.ZFS.ZFS-LAB stopped with unknown error.
    So we recreated the app with no MSI and the application object was
    successfully distributed.
    We thought it was something to do with where the MSI application was
    being pulled in from.
    So we created an NSS volume on the OES server, moved the apps to that
    location and recreated the application object witn an MSI.
    We then re-created the distribution object and channel, referenced the
    application from the newly created NSS volume and refreshed the distributor.
    We then saw these errors in the log files:
    2006.09.07 10:17:20 [TED:Event Processing] Gather
    Distro.DISTRIBUTIONS.ZFS.ZFS-LAB stopped with unknown error.
    2006.09.07 10:22:19 [TED:Event Processing] Distribution
    BlankApp.DISTRIBUTIONS.ZFS.ZFS-LAB not available to distribute.
    2006.09.07 10:22:19 [TED:Event Processing] DEV-NW-001.rspcaint.net
    refused connection.
    Can anyone advise us on what we might be doing wrong or where to look
    for further instruction?
    Thanks

  • I am getting a error -1 when I try to restore my iPad 1 to firmware 5.1.1. Is there any method to fix this problem. I have tried several methods on YouTube for various others errors but doesn't seem to work.

    Pls help me to fix this restore error -1

    Hi there,
    Do you have icloud account? You need firstly turn off find my iphone (by go to icloud.com -->sign in --> go to "Find my iphone" and erase your iphone in it). And then you restore your iphone with DFU mode.
    When you erase your Find my iphone and if you can not restore, your iphone has a problem with hardware.
    Some infos can help you.
    Kind regards,

  • IPod Classic not complete syncing various errors

    Preface: I have two iPod classics.  Wanted to get rid of of about 8000 songs and narrow it down to about 3000 which is what I currently have in iTunes.  So I restored the first iPod (160GB), and synced it with iTunes no problem.  Got all songs on there and should be working fine.  Go to do the second one (120GB) and have nothing but problems.  Been working on it for 24 hours on and off with no luck.
    The main issue I am seeing is the "could not copy *song name* to the iPod because of an unknown error (-50)."  This happens with various random songs.  And it seems to usually lock up around song 360-380 when doing a transfer.  Though I have seen it lock up on song one or two.  With help from various recommendations online here is what I have tried (usually several times on each) with no luck:
    Replaced the iPod cable
    Restarted iTunes
    Restarted the computer
    Tried different USB ports (front, back, top) on the computer
    Restored the ipod various times
    Windows repair disk various times
    Reformatted iPod via Windows
    As I said before the first iPod synced fine so not sure why this one is giving me such a hard time.  Have seen various other errors like "disk is not available", (-53), and other ones.  This is driving me nuts!  Any input on something else I should try would be appreciated.

    Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time.  It will recognize the iTunes library on the Mac as a new library.  If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library.  So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your Mac first.
    See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

  • Validation Errors with new Install of W7 x64 Ent Debug Checker On New Equipment

    I am receiving multiple Errors. I am trying to use the Windows 7 x64 Enterprise which happens to be the Debug Checker version OS as the host machine.  I have only built the machine, and tried to load the Drivers.
    I say this due to the starting issue that upon the loading of the entire driver set, (for the MB, Seagate Harddrive, and Vid Card), I would get the BSOD.  I identified that the Bluetooth driver was the issue.  I then did not load the Bluetooth
    drivers for the MB on the 5th or so install of the 7 Ent os.  (Tried Server 2k8 r2. Which is not compatible with the MB Drivers.)
    I have not received a single Update either.  The Auto update feature claims that I am up to date.  I do not believe this due to the fact that any fresh Install of any OS has about several decades of updates and reboots to go through.
    Upon trying the suggestions on the forum about turning off the IE Addons, the errors remain.  Also the results of the sfc /scannow are copied below.
    My Questions
    I am seeking assistance on solving the Errors that have refused to leave me alone , to put it humorously and am asking for your insight and wisdom.  Will you take a look??
    Do I need to go to Win 7 Ent or Ult x64 that is not a Debug Checker version.
    Are there other Microsoft download Registery file checkers besides the MGA Diag tool that are freeware that I can use to check, for corrupted registry files.
    Or do I just need to take it to the stores (Fry’s and Microcenter) that recommended the equipment and have them just reload the software and allow them the headache of solving the error issue, by paying them to install the drivers and have ALL of the
    drivers work. (including the blue tooth)
    The Goal is to turn it into a Active Directory Server using Virtual Box with Server 2k8 R2 running in the virtual box environment.
    Errors and Results.
    There are also a number of logs that show various Crit, Error, and Warning logs.  I will include those if need be.
    This is the majority of the error messages, and I have missed the opportunity to capture others.

    Maintain the current CRM release (table CRMPAROLTP)
    Diagnosis    Various transfer errors occur when transferring SAP sales orders to    CRM or there is no status update or the status update has errors  when transferring from CRM to the SAP system. This is caused by an incorrect entry for the CRM release in the SAP table CRMPAROLTP, or  no entry is maintained at all.    system   To avoid data inconsistencies, this message causes a short dump.      Maintain table CRMPAROLTP in your SAP system as is described in SAP    Note 691710 and then repeat the process again.

    Hi,
    This type of error does occur when your programm is not updated with relevant notes.
    So first check with your ABAP guy, whether there is a genuine problem in the prog.
    If not, then consult your BASIS guy and tell him to download the relevant notes related to your error, so that the prog can be run successfully.
    Regards,
    Siddharth.
