Hello All,
1) Could you please help me to understand various processes available in Customs declaration from both Import / Export?

  • GTS7.2: EDI convertor / type of network in customs declaration

    Hi,
Could you give me a hint please...
    (1)
In the Master Guide of GTS 7.2, I found a EDI converter is necessary in declaration to customs offices.
Is it possible to use NetWeaver PI as EDI converter?
    (2)
If it is possible, what type of network do you use?
    - dialup (with dialup-router)
    - internet (HTTPS/SSL)
    - VPN
    - leased circuit
    - or etc
I think, using leased circuit only for customs declaration is a surplus investment.
But other types of network are not so stable to use.
    regards,
    Katsumi

    Katsumi,
I am not sure if additional options are available in GTS 7.2 but in GTS 7.1 and earlier you had to use the Seeburger converter tool to convert IDocs in the customs message format that is supported by the customs authorities in your country.
This format is typically not EDI.  However, you're putting the buggy before the horse here.
Your first steps in installing this interface must be to contact the customs authorities in your country to find out what preprequisites you must fulfill for filing declarations electronically out of GTS.  The person at Customs will be able to tell you how to apply for electronic filing and how the data must be transmitted.  If GTS supports interfacing with the Customs system in your country then the re-formatting of the messages will happen by implementing the Seeburger conversion tool and map.  However, in many countries you must also transfer the data to and from Customs in a safe and secure manner.  In the US, Customs mandates that you must use a secure method, like, eg a value-added-network to transfer the data securely.  This is not an SAP mandate but something the customs authorities require.
    Hope this helps.

  • Function Module to Retrieve License Masters Assigned to Customs Declarations

    Hi,
Is there a function module in GTS to determine which license masters have been created to release the blocked document?
My requirement is that I need to determine if there is a license master created to release a blocked document. If there is, I need to retrieve the text entered in the "External License Number" field.
    Thanks.

Thanks for the responses so far. I don't understand the linkage between maintaining "Default Document for SAP Customs Management" in "Define License Types" configuration activity and having the respective legal regulation / license master appear on the "Documents" tab of the Customs Declaration.
For instance, if I have a legal regulation / license master that was used to unblock the delivery prior to the invoice / customs declaration being created, it will appear on the "Control" tab of the "Customs Declaration"
    Legal Reg: LEGR1
    License Type: LIC
License Master: 100000External License Number: EXT123
... how can I get the External License Number from the license above to appear on the "Documents" tab of the Customs Declaration.
I need an entry on the "Documents" tab that contains the following:
    Category: CUII
    Type: X035
Number: <External License Number>This will be pulled from license master 100000 created above. There will only ever be 1 license master.
Thanks for your explanations and help so far.

  • Packaging data not populated in customs declaration

    Hi all,
I'm creating Pro-forma invoice in ECC and as a result Custom Declaration is getting created in GTS. In GTS the Packaging data in item level is coming as empty. So I implemented the BADI /SAPSLL/IF_EX_IFEX_SD0C_R3 and tried to pass the packaging data. But as a result the custom document stopped getting created in GTS.
I'm using the below code to populate the fields of the table cs_itm_cdoc-pge-
    LOOP AT lit_vepo ASSIGNING <lfs_vepo>.
            lwa_itmpge-item_number = <lfs_vepo>-posnr.
            lwa_itmpge-int_id = <lfs_vepo>-vepos.
            lwa_itmpge-quantity = <lfs_vepo>-vemng.
            lwa_itmpge-dim_uom = <lfs_vepo>-vemeh.
            APPEND lwa_itmpge TO cs_itm_cdoc-pge.
            CLEAR lwa_itmpge.
          ENDLOOP.
I'm taking the value of <lfs_vepo> from the standard table vepo. Can anybody please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Sarif

    Hi Dave,
I’m new to GTS. I’ll list the steps here which I’m following-
    1.       1. In ECC, In tcode VF01, put Billing Type = ‘F8’ and Document = Outbound Delivery ID
    2.       2. Click Save, the billing document in ECC will be saved
    3.       3. In GTS, go to tcode /sapsll/menu_legal
    4.       4. Go to Customs Management->Export->Display Customs Declarations.
    5.       5. You’ll see a new document has been created with reference to the billing document in ECC.
    6.       6. Open the document. Go to Item Details->Packaging Data.
    7.       7.  The packaging details is empty.
This is the current default behavior. Now my job as an ABAPer is to fetch the packaging data from VEPO table and fill it in the BADI /SAPSLL/IF_EX_IFEX_SD0C_R3 so that it gets reflected in GTS.
But when I’m trying to do it the custom document in GTS isn’t getting created at all. Note that it’s getting created properly when I’m removing the coding related to the packaging data. So obviously I’m doing something wrong here. Do I need to fill the packaging data for  header as well? Also the field for container is currently empty, do I need to fill it? If yes, where shall I get the data?
    Thanks,
    Sariful

    Hi Venkat,
Sorry for delay in reply and thanks for helping me out on this issue. We have worked out the ADS configuration issues, set up master data for printer, set up .xdc files for printer etc. and are now able to display the forms and able to 'print preview' the forms.
However, when I print preview the form, the print icon is grayed out. I am not able to print the form. Can you please advise what am I missing?
    Thanks

  • Transfer Duty Values from Customs Declaration to ECC

Does anyone have any experience in transferring duty values to a document in ECC  (i.e. a Purchase Order) after calculating it in a Customs Declaration?
I see in the IMG where you can assign duty types in the Customs Declaration to pricing condition types in the Purchase Order (Assign Duty Type to Pricing Condition Type at Feeder System Level) to be used in calculating customs duty in the GTS Customs Declaration. Is there a way to display the Duty Value that is calculated back in the Purchase Order (either before or after Goods Receipt) or in some other document?
Has anyone had any experience with this?

Did you find the code for this routine?
The SAP Help information (http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/EN/46/6d5cf006290ad5e10000000a11466f/content.htm) indicates that the following BAdIs must be implemented: BUFFER_PO_DATA and BUFFER_PO_DATA_CLEAR.
It then directs you to Sales and Distribution -> Foreign Trade/Customs -> SAP Global Trade Services u2013 Plug-In -> Customs: Retail: Retransfer of Calculation Results from SAP GTS or Customs: Retail: Delete Buffer for Retransfer of Calculation Results.
However, I do not see this in the IMG in the Feeder. Does anyone else see this? Has anyone had any experience with how this can be used?

  • Customs Declaration - Export

    Hi All,
    Which services can I check?
I am trying to create a Customs Declaration
    Steps I followed:
Step1 In Feeder System Created a sales order, VA01
Step1 In Feeder System Created outbound Delivery, VL01N
Step3 In Feeder System /SAPSLL/CUS_INV_R3, Shipment Consolidation: Generate Customs Declarations from Sales Order
Step4 In SAP GTS System > /SAPSLL/MENU_LEGAL> Customs Processing Import/Export --> Display Outbound Activity ^
^Display Outbound Activity: when I click this I do not see any document.
    Help appreciated.
    Thanks
    Jennifer

    Hi Jennifer,
Iam not sure why you using  tocode /n /SAPSLL/CUS_INV_R3 to create the billing document.
as this Shipping Consolidation is used to  group the desired number of outbound deliveries or shipment documents in  pro forma billing documents. This lets to keep the number of customs export declarations that are generated in SAP GTS to a minimum.
If you do not want to group Delivery to create a single F8 doc ( Proforma invoice ) you can use Tocode VF01 to create Billing Doc ( F8 doc type ).
Following check you can do to make sure that your custom declaration is getting created:
    1. On ECC/R/3 side
Check  whether you Sales order dod type ,Delivery  doc type and Billing Document F8 are activated going to got to GTS or not
By going the following configuration you can check what all document type has been activated for At different application level SD0A ( Sales order) , SD0B ( O/B Delivery) , SD0C ( Billing Doc ) ,
For  ECC go to SPRO :
Sales and distribution ->Foreign Trade/Customs>SAP Global Trade services-Plugin->Controldata for transfer to SAP GTS->Configure control settings for  transfer of document
For R/3 got to tcode /n/sapsll/menu_legalr3
Go to the Tab Customizing --- >Configure control settings for transfer.
Sales order doc type has to be atleast activated  for Compliance Servicee
Delivery doc has to be atleast activated  for Compliance Servicee
F8 Billing doc has to be activated for Custom management services.
    On GTS side:
Check al the following SPRO configuration :
    Under General Settings
    1) Define Legal regulation,Legal code 01
    2) Determination  Procedure for Active Legal Regualtion ( Det Strgy- LECUS- Cntry Level)
    3) Activate Legal regulation for Dest Cntry with combination of Dep cntry
    Under Customs- Document Str.
    1) Define Document type CULOEX (Number Range,Log control Access control,Partner group Action Profile,Text Det.Calculation Profile,Item Category)
    2) Activate Document Type
    3) Define Control Settings at Doc. Type Level and Legal Reg. Level ( If Access Control  slected in previous step 1 is  Leg Reg/Doc) Action Profile,Partner Group,Text Det Proc.,Calc Profile.
    4) Assign Document type from Feeder system at feeder system or feeder system group level. Application Level SD0C
    5) Define Item Category
6)Assign Item Category at feeder system or feeder system group level. Application Level SD0C
    Under Custom Service
1)Assign Det Proc for Active Legal Reg LECUS
2)Activate Legal Reg for Customs Proc for Dest and Dep country combination
    3)Control Settings for Cust Proc.
You can check Tocode  SM58 on ECC side to check for error of document transfer.
Simillarly on GTS side you can use Tcode SLG1 to check for any error .
Tocde /SAPSLL/APIINVC_TLOG  is specific  to check for any error for Bill doc if it is not transferred to GTS.
    Kind regards,
    Sameer

  • Propose item packaging data for customs declaration

    Hi All,
My requirement is to update packaging data information as mentioned below in the item level of Customs declaration
    1. CNTNO  (Container Number)
    2. PGETY   (Package Type)
    3. PGESU   (Number of Packages)
    4. PGEX1    (External Package Number)
I am using BAdI for Default Data in Customs Shipment and Customs Declaration. I have checked all the methods in this BAdI, and the method which fits more close to my requirement is ITEM_LEGPGE_PROPOSE. But this method allows me to update
    a. Package Tye
    b. Number of Packages
How should I take care of updating other two fields : Container Number and External Package Number?
Is there any other BAdI in GTS which takes care of it?
I would really appreciate your inputs on this.
    Note:
I am transfering this Packaging Data information from Packaging data tab present at item level in Transit document (Type: TRLOIM) to Packaging data tab present at item level Customs declaration (Type: CULOIM).
The transit document is extended with items and packaging information through the receipt of an EDI message from Customs.
    Thanks & regards,
    Yogesh A Sharma

When transfering the DATA to GTS the Program fills the API for the transfer, you can go and change the information there. For this you can use the BADI's that are found in the feeder System under
SPRO / Sales & Distribution / Foreign Trade/Customs / SAP GTS Plugin / BADI for SAP Global Trade Services / Edit control for document transfer.
As mentionned above you may replace the GU number by your container Number (Field EXT_ID) or you can try by filling EXT_ID2 / or use any of the additionnal Fields of the Declaration, or in GTS you have the possibility to add supplementary fields in to the declaration (but I never tried it up to now) in the API which is called at  "Perform api6800_csd_Synchronize" during the document transfer.

    Marc

  • Updating Customs Declaration with CUS_INBOUND message

We are attempting to update a Customs Declaration with a CUS_INBOUND message.  We can successfully update the ITN number from the header but cannot update anything from the lower level segments such as container #, seal #, BOL #, dates, etc.  These values are in the HDOC and TRAR segments. Any ideas on what is causing this?

    Hi Patty,
Field CUMES in the iDoc holds the Technical Message Type.  The corresponding field in GTS is EMESS, and table /SAPSLL/TLEACM holds the Message definitions.  If you have 'CSFR' in the CUMES field, then we're probably talking about the I1560 Message Type - the US "Commodity Shipment Filing response".  Does that sound right?
Provided the "Document Update" flag is set in that /SAPSLL/TLEACM entry, Form US_CSFR_DATA_MAP should run in program /SAPSLL/LCUHD_PPF_INTACTF12 during the iDoc processing.  But as you can see, only the LEGCOM entry gets created there - there is no code to deal with the Container Number.
If you think that's a serious omission, then perhaps you need to create an OSS incident?
    Regards,
    Dave

  • How can I cancel a Customs Declaration?

    Hi all,
How can I cancel a Customs Declaration?
Is this a special message type or how can I do this?
    Thanks
    Regards

    Gunther,
In the GTS IMG, under SAP Customs Management >> General Settings >> Communications Processes >> Define Messages for Communications Processes there are seveal message types with "Cancellation" in the description.  For example:  I1011, I1050.  These depend upon the country for which you are configuring electronic communications.  Don't forget to enable email communication with the authorities for these messages (transctions SUGR and SCOT).  And don't forget to enable the message via message determination.  After you receive authorization to cancel the declaration, remember to "close" the transaction which marks it for archive.
Perhaps Sameer or Satya can offer more advice regarding if it is possible to "do over" the transaction after cancelling it.  I have never tried that.  I believe once the initial message has been sent to customs, you cannot "complete" the billing document using VF02 (which releases the delivery back to be available for processing on a different billing document).  At that point, you can only "cancel" it in GTS.  I do not know how you would restore inventory in the feeder system for that transaction.
Finally, if I have stated something wrong or in a confusing way, I apologize.  I'm confident the other SDN members will correct or clarify.
    Regards,
    -Greg

  • Transit declaration vs custom declaration

    Hi,
in Custom Mgmt I assigned the GTS doc Type CULOEX to my SAP pro forma invoice,
but when I transfer the billing doc, GTS create a transit document instead of an Export Custom Declaration.
My question is the following: where I should declare that my FTO is not an Authorized Consignor but just a simple Exporter?
    Thanks
    A.

    Dear Marc,
thanks for your answer, it was very helpful.
Now I'm just wondering where I should entry the Authorization if my Swiss customer it is not an Authorized Consignor but just an exporter.

    Hi Kevin,
What DataSource does your testalias refer to?
    - If it is a custom DataSource, you must have created this custom DataSource also.
    - If it is the default DataSource, you shouldn't have this problem in general...
In either case, you can try deploying your DataSource and/or DataSource alias together with your application:
