Hi,
Vatable :- Means u are taking benefit of CVD
Use condition as
Condition For CVD in CIN :-
JCV1    - IN CVD e.g. 14%
JECV - IN CVD Prim Edu e.g. 2%
J1CV  - IN CVD Sec Edu e.g. 1 %
In general the amount BCD, CVD is submitted to Custom Office.
So in ur PO, You must have to assigned these conditions to different Vender i.e. custom office in your PO
in Miro, select the planned delivery cost with that PO Number and all ur values will appear.
but it will be different case when u want take benefit of CVD in CIN.
In addition to above Procedure, you have to uncheck GR base IV in PO and first Do the MIRO for Planned delivery cost and generate commercial Invoice Number
after that do the GR with MIGO.

I bought itunes match and none of my imported tunes got uploaded. It says there was error thats all. Any way to trouble shoot? or what maybe the problem

Best route is to use the Kind, iCloud Download and iCloud Status fields in your library to see exactly what is going on. Often it is worthwhile to turn iTunes Match off, convert suspect Songs to AAC using the iTunes capability, remove non-AAC version (post backup), turn iTunes Match on and allow the 3-Step process to run to completion.
There are restrictions on the type and nature of Song files that iTunes Match is able to work with - it may be that several of your Song files do not fall within the supported range but it is certainly worth trying the steps outlined above.

• I'm using Keynote '09 for Mac and none of my imported audio or video will play sound.

The sound in Inspector is turned up all the way as well as the volume on my Mac. Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

1 - test sound is enabled and working on your Mac by playing a sound file in iTunes, Finder or going to youtube and play a video
2 - if that works open a new presentation in Keynote containing one slide only, place the sound file on the slide then click the play button to play the presentation
3 - if that works, test the sound file in Keynote that was causing problems in edit mode:
double click the sound file if its on a slide
click play in Inspector > Sound track if its in the soundtrack well
4 - if that works, run Keynote in Play mode
5 - if that doesnt work, delete the sound file in Keynote then place it back again

• Difference between Deductible and Non Deductible tax

Hi All,
Could you please explain me the difference between deductible tax and non deductible tax and when to which type of tax. Also please kindly explain with an example.
I know that this would consume some valuable time of urs, but please kindly explain me this.
Thanks in advance
DSK.

Hi
In some countries, u can take credit for tax paid i.e. Tax vatable/deductible - in this case the tax amount is debited to a asset gl account and then later set off with ur tax payable
and for some taxes it might be non-vatable/non deductible - in which case the same would then be added to the inventory/expense
The settings for this would be done under tax conditions in MM
Thank You,

• How can I display special characters of NonEuropean languages (French, Italian, Spanish, German and Portuguese.) using import string mechanism

I would like to translate the User Interface of my application to French, Italian, Spanish, German and Portuguese.
When I put special characters in the import string file they showed up as ? (question mark)
The import strings file includes the following parameters for each string: font, text, size and style. (but no field for script)
In order to use a unicode font such as Arial I need to select a french script. But this option is not supported bu LabView (As far as I saw)
A) Is there a font which is directly German/ French etc and not regula font + script parameter?
B) Are there another required step
s for special characters support? (When I put speciual characters in the import string file the showed up as ? question mark)

This was discussed last week in this group- read the previous messages.
Look for the thread "Foreign Languages in Labview"
And recite the mantra
ActiveX is good
ActiveX is holy
All Hail Bill
Those who claim otherwise are heretics and not to be trusted
Actually, in this case the non-ActiveX suggestions may be good.

• I Dislike the Terms "Destructive" and "Non-Destructive" Editing

Some folks in the Photoshop realm use the terms "destructive" and "non-destructive" to describe ways of using Photoshop in which transforms are applied directly to pixel values vs. being applied via layers or smart filters or smart objects or other means.
Do you realize that the term "destructive" is actually mildly offensive to those who know what they're doing and choose to alter their pixel values on purpose?
I understand that teaching new people to use Photoshop in a way that doesn't "destroy" their original image data is generally a good thing, and I'm willing to overlook the use of the term as long as you don't confront me and tell me what I'm doing when I choose to alter pixel values is "wrong" (or when I choose to advise others on doing so).
For that people who claim editing pixel values is "destructive", I offer this one response, which is generally valuable advice, in return:
Never overwrite your original file.
There. The "destruction" has ceased utterly.
It's common sense, really. You might want to use that file for something else in the future.
If you shoot in raw mode with a digital camera, then you actually can't overwrite your raw files. That's a handy side effect, though some don't use raw mode or even start working with digital photographs.
In any case, when you open your image consider getting in the habit of immediately doing File - Save As and creating a .psd or .tif elsewhere, so that you can subsequently do File - Save to save your intermediate results.
There can actually be many advantages to altering pixel values, if you know what you're doing and choose to do so. But sometimes even the most adept Photoshop user might find that a given step created a monster; that's okay, there's a multi-step History palette for going back. I normally set mine to keep a deep history, to give me a safety net if I DO do something wrong, though I tend to use it rarely.
And for those who would tout the disadvantages to editing "destructively", there can be huge disadvantages to doing it "non-destructively" as well... Accumulating a large number of layers slows things down and can use a lot of RAM... With downsized zooms the mixing can yield posterization that isn't really there, or gee whiz, just TRY finding a computer fast enough to use smart filters in a meaningful way. Just the concept of layers, if one hasn't worked out how layer data is combined in one's own mind, can be daunting to a new person!
So I ask that you please stop saying that the "only" or "best" way to use Photoshop is to edit "non-destructively". There are folks who feel that is offensive and arrogant. I think the one thing everyone can agree upon is that THERE IS NO ONE OR BEST WAY TO USE PHOTOSHOP!
You go ahead and do your editing your way. I prefer to do "constructive" editing.
Thanks for listening to my rant.

Aegis Kleais wrote:
When you alter image data in a manner that cannot be reverted, you have destroyed it.
Really?
That's one of those things that one is not supposed to question. It just sounds so right!
Problem is, it's insufficient in and of itself, and misleading... It's a rule of thumb that's way too general.
What IS "data" anyway? Arrangement of magnetic spots on a disk? My disk is still whole, so we're not talking about physical destruction here.
One could argue that all the data is all still there in many cases of pixel-value-change editing (e.g., where there has been no resizing). The image file is the same size! Same amount of data.
Upsampling, or making a copy of an image is actually creating more data, not destroying data. Thus there is no general "destruction", but the terms "construction" or "creation" could be used.
But wait, perhaps you're really talking about destroying information, not data... Well...
As it turns out the term "destructive" is still off base. I have altered the information, possibly even adding important information. If I make a copy this is a no brainer. Even if I don't, depending on a person's skill in editing, the altered result could still carry all the original information that was important plus information added by editing, and be quite possibly better for its intended purpose (human consumption) than the image before the edit. That's the goal!
So now we're talking about important information vs. unimportant information. And of course we're talking about fitness for a future purpose.
As with anything, there are multiple ways to get there and multiple ways to interpret the words.
The term "destructive" in my opinion was invented to further someone's agenda.

• JAX-RPC And Non-Java Web Service

Hi,
This is a total shot in the dark. I'm attempting to consume an RPC web service developed in Delphi. I've created a JAX-RPC client in NetBeans from the published WSDL, attached below. I've created calls to several of the procedures available. What's bizarre, at least to me, is that half of them work fine and half of them don't. In all cases where they don't I'm getting a returns SOAP envelope indicated an access violation, attached below. There are no errors in any of the server logs and the developer assures me that the procedures do, in fact, work from his client (also developed conveniently enough in Delphi).
I'm willing to take him at face value for the moment and assume that the problem is in my client implementation, although I have no idea where it would lie. The only difference I've been able to gather between the features which work and those that don't is the size of the return package...it would most likely be much larger than the ones that don't work.
The service is an ISAPI dll running under IIS on Windows Server 2003. Any clues or guidance anyone would be willing to provide would be most welcome. On to the files:
There wasn't enough room to post the entire thing so I've included one working (CheckStock) and non-working (GetLibTrace) function.

• Unable to see raw files in Finder and therefor can't import in aperture

I have loaded my raw files from the CF card (Canon 4DII) into a directory on the Mac. I go into Aperture, select import and select the directory where the files are and none of the raw files appear.
I go into iPhoto and they appear and I am able to import them into iPhoto.
I need to import the files into Aperture. How can I get Aperture to "see" the files in the finder directory?

Hi New
It doesn't look like your camera is supported, which is why your raw files don't show up to import.
(Check the list here, for sure
http://www.apple.com/aperture/specs/raw.html)
Mine isn't either.
I use DNG Converter from Adobe (Free) to convert my RAW files to DNG. The .DNG files ( not '.dng') are then readable by Aperture.
You can get the app here: (or just go to Adobe's website)
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/16064
What I do:
Open DNG converter
Select the folder with the raw files
Save in new location:
Select folder: and create a DNG folder inside the original folder with the RAW images)
File Extension .DNG
Convert.
When i import into Aperture, I choose the option to 'Store files in their original location' (which is an external drive foe me) ... this way i'm not getting duplicates and taking up more space.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful

• Inserting strings of printable and non printable characters

I would very much appreciate some help with the following
To handle an interface with a legacy system I need to create strings containing both printable and non-printabel ascii characters. And with non printable characters I mean in particular those in the range of ASCII 128 to 159.
It seems it is not possible to insert a string containting both printable and not printable characters from the afore mentioned range into a VARCHAR2 table column as the following demonstrates:
insert into test values(chr(156)); -- this inserts the 'œ' symbol.
SQL> select test, ascii(test), length(test), substr(test,1,1), ascii(substr(test,1,1))from test;
TEST       ASCII(TEST) LENGTH(TEST) SUBSTR(TEST,1,1) ASCII(SUBSTR(TEST,1,1))
┐ 156 1That the the character mapped is shown as '┐' and not 'œ' is not really issue for my application, what is important is that the ASCII value is shown as 156, which is the ASCII code of the character I inserted.
What is however strange (actually probably not strange but has to do with the lack of understanding of the issue at hand) is that substr returns an empty string...
Now I try to insert a concatenated string, first the "non printable" character then a printable character
insert into test values(chr(156)||chr(65));
SQL> select test, ascii(test), length(test), substr(test,1,1), ascii(substr(test,1,1))from test;
TEST       ASCII(TEST) LENGTH(TEST) SUBSTR(TEST,1,1) ASCII(SUBSTR(TEST,1,1))
A 65 1 A 65For some reason the not printable character (chr(156)) is now not inserted or at least does not appear when I selected the data from the table, this effect seems to apply to all characters in the range of ASCII 128 to 159 (tried some but not all) However for instance CHR(13) can be inserted as part of a string as shown above .
For our application I really don't care much what character is shown or not show, what is important is that I can retrieve the ASCII value and that this value matches the one I inserted which for some reason does not seem to work.
This seems to be, at least to some extent a character set issue. I have also tested this on a database with character sets set as follows
NLS_CHARACTERSET
WE8MSWIN1252
NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET
AL16UTF16
With WE8MSWIN1252 the described issue does NOT occur, however unfortunately I must use NLS_CHARACTERSET AL32UTF8 which produces the results as described above!
As said any insights would be much appreciated as I am slowly but surely starting to despair.
For completions sake, character sets are set as follows (changing it is NOT an option):
NLS_CHARACTERSET
AL32UTF8
NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET
AL16UTF16
The test table is created as follows
CREATE TABLE TEST
TEST VARCHAR2(1000 BYTE)
Database Version 11.2.0.3.0
Edited by: helios.taraba on Dec 2, 2012 10:18 AM --Added database version
Edited by: helios.taraba on Dec 2, 2012 10:24 AM Added description of test results using NLS_CHARACTERSET WE8MSWIN1252

Hello Orafad,
Thanks for your reply, at least I understand the effects I'm seeing i.e.
+"For multibyte character sets, n must resolve to one entire code point. Invalid code points are not validated, and the result of specifying invalid code points is indeterminate."+
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e26088/functions026.htm
You are absolutely right I could use chr(50579) to get the ligature symbol. However as what we are trying to achieve is to implement a legacy interface to a 20+ years old subsystem we are actually not so much interested in the symbol itself but rather in the ascii value of that symbol (156 as you so rightly point out in the win-1252 characterset), this particular field represents the lenght of the message being sent to the subsystem and can vary from decimal 68 to 164 and is also considered in a checksum calculation which is part of the message.
As changing the nls_characterset of the database is not an option I guess I only have one reasonable avenue to resolve this namely to push the functionality to added the "encoded" length of the message (and the calculation of the checksum) to the java driver which is responsible for sending the message (tcp/ip) to the subsystem. Here we should not have any issues adding a byte with the value 156 (or any other for that matter) to the datastream.
Thankfully all other fields have characters with ascii values below 128 and above 31.
I'm going to leave my question as un-answered for a bit longer in the hopes of someone coming up with a golden bullet, although not getting my hopes up.
Thanks, Helios

Working alternating with iPhoto and FCE tgrying to import pictures from iPhoto into FCE suddenly all my 22300 pictures disappeared leaving empty frames. Does somebody know where the pictures could have gone and how can I get them back into iPhoto? Lothar

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

• How do you toggle a microphone directly between enhanced and non-enhanced?

Apparently mixing calls between Microphone.getMicrophone() and Microphone.getEnhancedMicrophone() on the same device doesn't work very well. Take the following code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<s:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx" minWidth="955" minHeight="600" creationComplete="onCreationComplete()" click="Microphone.getMicrophone().setLoopBack(true);">
<fx:Script>
<![CDATA[
import mx.controls.Alert;
private function onCreationComplete():void
Microphone.getEnhancedMicrophone().setLoopBack(true);
]]>
</fx:Script>
</s:Application>
You will be able to hear yourself speak at first, but as soon as you click the app, you will no longer be able to hear your voice. I have also seen this sort of thing in other scenarios.
To make a long story short, if you call getEnhancedMicrophone() for one device, then try to call getMicrophone() for that same device, the device will stop providing any audio input. The same is true vice versa. However if you call getEnhancedMicrophone() for one device, then getMicrophone() for a different device, then come back to the first and call getMicrophone() for it, the device will work just fine.
Why? Is there any way to just toggle between enhanced and non-enhanced settings for the same device, without reaching out to an unrelated device? Thanks!

On your Microphone reference you have these constants you can set your options to:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/media/MicrophoneE nhancedMode.html
As you can see there, MicrophoneEnhancedMode.OFF disables enhanced mode. You would set your Microphone references .mode property to equal that to disable enhanced, or use one of the other relevant options to enable it. Thus, you should always use enhanced so you can toggle it.

Since a FF8 update, all bookmarks were lost and none of the recommended restore methods work, even though I have been able to find the backup ".json" files; I continually get "Unable to process the backup file" for all methods of importing or restoring the bookmarks from the .json files. As others note, I can also no longer add any new bookmarks to my now empty bookmarks tab. My profile has not changed, so that's not the problem. This is really a pain.
