VBRP-VKGRP field needs to be changed

Hi all,
I've a requirement. Sales group (VBRP-VKGRP) needs to be changed in Billing document. Is that possible?

Hi,
It is not possible to change or enter the field while creating an invoice. If you want to enter it in the invoice, you can enable this by means of an User exit. Using the user exit, you can programatically provide the value during invoice creation.
You can try the user exit USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP in the program RV60AFZC

Hi,
Field BEWAR in Asset Accounting controls various system activities when any transaction is posted.. so it is not possible to change this field in a posted document.
Reverse the transaction (AB08) and Repost with the correct transaction type.

Delivery Date needs to be changed on Schedule lines

Hi All-
I am using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE, to update the delivery date on the schedule lines...If I have 2 lines of schedule, needs to be updated the second one ETENR '0002'...
Bapi returns message that successfully processed, when I go back and look at Sales order, I don't se any changes on schedule line..
I am pssing into BAPI, sales doc and schedule line with the delivery date and the flag 'U'..and also I am using BAPI commit...
But, let me know if I am missing something and also let me know is it possible to change schedule delivery date or not?

Only specify fields that should be changed
Select these fields by entering an X in the checkboxes
Enter a U in the UPDATEFLAG field
Always specify key fields when changing the data, including in the checkboxes
The configuration is an exception here. If this needs to be changed, you need to complete it again fully.
Maintain quantities and dates in the schedule line data.
1. Minimum entry:
You must enter the order number in the SALESDOCUMENT structure.
You must always enter key fields for changes.
You must always specify the update indicator in the ORDER_HEADER_INX.
2. Commit control:
The BAPI does not run a database Commit, which means that the application must trigger the Commit so that the changes are read to the database. To do this, use the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT BAPI.

I am not sure how ur business is running on. let me tell if u r doing the transaction in the webui are ic agent make sla date fields in display and edit mode based on the authorization or the business role. in case of gui not sure you need to debug and identify the authorization object for that one.

Infotype screen headers needs to be changed for all the infotypes

Hi Guys,
This would be for a global implementation question.
For the US for a particular region, the screen header needs to be changed for all the infotypes.
The existing field (in the infotype header) is Employee Group which needs to be replaced with employment status.
The know how to change the headers but my question is STAT2 exists in IT 0000 but does not exist in 0001, 0002 0007.........etc
When i go to Table T588J to add an entry , Screen Header 42......,
I get an error " No Field STAT2 exists for infotype 0001"
No field STAT2 exists for infotype 0001.

Correct me if I am wrong.
First you need to maintain the header in T588J.
Screen header of an infotype is defined in view V_582A_B. We can define one screen header for employee and another for applicant in view V_T588I. The header modifier selected from view V_T588I has a definition in table T588J, which finally gets shown on the screen.
Depending on the transaction class (A = Personnel Administration, B = Recruitment) and the country grouping, a header modifier is assigned to the infotype header in the u201CHeader Modificationu201D view V_T588I.
For example like
Screen Header / Tr. Class / Header modifier
00 / A / 60
In the view u201CHeader Structure per Infotypeu201D (V_582A_B), a header has been assigned to every infotype. It also determines whether the data is valid from the system date or the start date of the infotype record

Vendor Master Data, (FK02), Bank Details Fields Need to be Shown

Dear Gurus,
Now, in the payment transaction tab in FK02 (Modify Vendors), some bank fields need to be shown, which possibly would be suppressed.
How to activate or surface these fields?
Some fields would be like IBAN number, Bank Code, Bank Country, etc.

Goto IMG>> Fin A/c >> AR & AP >>> Vendor A/c >>> Master Data >>> Prepration of Creating vendor master data >> Define screen layout per activity (vendor)
click : Change Vendor (Accounting)
Goto General data : >> Payment transactions
Make Bank details as optional filed from supressed.

Need help to change line item text for 220 Line items

Hi Specialists,
The user has posted a reversal entry ( doc type : Manual Accrual) using TCODE FBS1.
It has 220 line items.
Is there a way in SAP he can change the text of All Line Items for a particular document number in one shot ( Mass Change).
Pls note : Header text remains same . Only the line item text needs to be changed in one shot .
For Eg :

This is possible, please follow as below:
If it is GL (FBL3N), Customer (FBL5N), Vendor (FBL1N) line item use the TCODE' mentioned.
In the selection screen, if possible give all the document numbers (it is possible with addition selection).
Once you get the output with the line item, select all line items and go to the menu options there you can see the mass change option, it will give one popup screen give the new value in the text field and proceed further.

How to Make the fields Delta enabled or Change pointer enabled in R/3

I have a scenario, in which we are using the DS 0CUSTOMER_ATTR to load the master data.There are some fields added to this data source but this fields are not delta enabled i.e. when these fields change in R3 it does not write to Change Pointers ( and hence no delta ). For this reason every week we have to do a full load which takes very long.
Can any one suggest how to make this fileds delta enabled or how to know weather these fields are writing the Change pointers or not in R/3 when they change?

In your case you need to build the logic for your custom fields as you have enhanced the Business Content DS..
The way you can build the logic would be using the CDHDR and CDPOS tables if the changes are recorded in those tables.
The above tables contain any changes done to any documents..

Cost Center field in ME55 Report (Change Layout)

Hi all,
In ME55 (Collective Release for PReq) Cost Center is available as one of the "Selection fields", but it's (Cost Center field) NOT available in Change Layout Function (after you execute the report).
The requirement is the user want to see the Cost Center field in the ME55 report layout instead of having to drill down to each PR to see the Cost Center assigned to the PR Account Assignment.
Since Cost Center field in NOT available in the Change Layout function of ME55, How do I add it to the layout? Do I need enhancement? If so what do i need to do?

0asset_afab_attr, added new fields, need them to work with delta

Good day everyone,
I have searched the sdn forum and have not found anything on this subject specifically.
I have added two new fields to this extracter and in rsa3 it is pulling what i need. i have changed the bw side, including the bex query and all seems to be in working order.
but, now that i have added these two fields, i would like for the master data on the bw side to be updated with the new data in these new fields, but nothing is being sent over thru the delta.
is there a way to turn on these two new fields as delta specific? i would hate to have to delete all the cubes/dsos and master data and restart this process over again. it takes approx 7 hours to load the data to the cubes.

Go to B2B XCM application : http://host:port/zb2b/admin/index.jsp
select "Extended Configuration Management (XCM) Administration"
then select your application configuration from the "Customer" node.
Click on the "Display" button.
then maintain "ipcdata" parameter as what you have maintained in the IPC application.

Editable ALV- Quantity field value is getting changed while double clicking

U have displayed the ALV.In that grid u have quantity field.U have changed the value of that field to 45.
When u press enter the value has been changed to .045.Is this u r problem.
U can do onething anu.
Declare one varaible with the local field.
Pass u r quantity field value into that variable.
While displaying thriugh SET_TABLE_FIRST_DISPLAY in your internal table pass this variable.
It will solve u r problem.I think.

No Apple Store within 150 miles of me...what happens if I buy a Retina MBP and need the battery changed??

I have a vintage 2006 17" MBP that has been a steadfast and reliable companion for years. It's aging, and will probably need replacing this year. I'm a wildlife artist and need something that accompanies me into the field, AND allows me to do a lot of image editing (Lightroom) at home and in the studio...so portability, horsepower, and screen size all matter.
I'm deeply concerned about purchasing a Retina MBP, since there is no Apple Store closer than a 3 hour drive to me - if I need the battery changed, how the **** do I do that? I can't imagine living without a computer during the days it would take to ship something back to Apple galactic HQ for repair, and I also can't imagine how Apple can in good conscience design something so unserviceable. My current MBP went through the bulging-battery thing a year ago, so it's easy to conceive of something happening to a new machine.
It's probably obvious, but I purchase the most I can afford at one time and then keep it for years before upgrading. I have to say I'm rather depressed about the current choices right now.

All MacBook Pro's come with Apple only servicable batteries now.
However the newer batteries are much better than the older verisons and less likley to fail.
For instance my 2 year old 17" has a 99% charge with only 14 cycles, but I'm on power most of the time.
Problem for you is the life of the charge and not being able to put in a replacement charged battery on extended trips in the bush.
Also the Internet is required to reinstall the opearating system now, no disks.
Since there is no Apple laptop that can meet your requirements without dragging a portable gas generator with you...
I can only suggest you find a suitable PC laptop that can switch the charged batteries on location to keep on using it.
I highly suggest Windows 7, it's more closer to what your used to using on the Mac far as operating systems UI goes.
Windows 8 is a nightmare and it's adoption rate is very poor like Vista was.
Perhaps you may think about getting a wonderful iMac for your office.

Making FieldA required when user changes value of FieldB

Is this possible.
When the user is filling out the form, the required state of fields needs to change based on input gathered from the user.
FieldA - TextField
FieldB - DDList - Values Yes and No
FieldA should be required if the user sets FieldB to Yes, but it should be required if they set the value to No.

I figured out how to change this, however I have one obstacle yet. The highlighting does not automatically refresh? I have to manually uncheck the required fields checkbox and reselectit for the highlighting to update.
