.vcf contains multiple contacts, but only first contact appears on nano?

Hi- love my nano, but am having trouble getting contact info into it.
I use Palm Desktop (not Outlook) for Windows (that won't get me shot here, I hope!) and exported multiple (about 30) of my Palm contacts in one .vcf file (version 2.1), but when I copy said .vcf file into my nano\contacts folder (treating it as a hard disk) and pull up Contacts on the nano, the device only displays the first contact in the file, not all contacts.
While I didn't find any threads here about this specific issue, I did see some old threads elsewhere about importing multiple-vs-single-contact .vcf files, but they seemed to pertain to the 3G/4G iPod, not the nano.
Is it possible that the nano can just handle single-contact .vcf files?
At the risk of repeating myself, the issue is not the exporting -- I can open the .vcf file in a text editor and see that all contacts are contained therein -- it's in getting the nano to display all of the contacts listed in the file, not just the first one.
I apologize in advance if I've breached any posting etiquette. I'm a quick learner, so a slap to the wrist should be sufficient.

Please check whether there are duplicate custom headers in your code.

If you want to connect and use an iPod on more than one computer you need to change the update preference in the iPod Summary tab to "Manually manage music and videos" and click Apply.

If your iPod is set to update automatically take care when connecting to a different computer if your current one is out of commission. You will get a message that your iPod is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all songs from your iPod. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it.

Multiple Content types only first 11 visible

We have set up Multiple content types (word templates) for our libraries.
But only the first eleven content types are shown when we click on new document.
I have searched the internet but cannot find a solution for this.
Is there a possibility to show all the content types ?
possible solution that I was thinking off but I can not seem to configure:
- changing the max number of content types that sharepoint displays from 11 to an higher value
- grouping some content types together and split them up this way
- creating an extra "new document" link with a dropdown with other content types
- enabling a scrollbar
The only possibility I see for the moment is to create multiple libraries each of them with a subset of the content types
but that is not really user friendly then they have to search in multiple libraries instead of 1

According to your description, my understanding is that it displayed only the first eleven content types after you set up multiple content type in your libraries.
I have created lots of content types and added them to library and it worked fine.
Please check the configuration of the content type order in library settings -> Change new button order and default content type, and provide the screen shot about is.
Please add multiple content types you created to other libraries and other libraries in other site collections and test whether this issue occurs.

[CS3 AS] Change text but only first instance

Hey there. So I'm trying to do a find / replace of a particular text string that I know appears multiple times within the document. Each instance of the string needs to be replaced by a slightly different string. The string being replaced is "Page #" and needs to be replaced by, for example, "Page 4" on first reference then "Page 6" on next reference.
So, I was trying to figure out a way to replace only the first reference and then iterate the same replacement command. Or if there's a more elegant solution like somehow being able to pass an array of replacements, that would be awesome.

Sure. This is what it looks like in Javascript.
I use a GREP find to locate all number signs that are preceded with "Page " -- in this particular case, you want to find "Page #" but only change the hash mark. (And I missed a perfectly good opportunity to call it by its proper name "octothorp" ...)
The number of found occurrences must exactly match the length of the Replacement list, otherwise you get the wrong numbers at the wrong places -- therefore I added a check before continuing.
Notice I do the actual changing of # to number in reverse order -- this will always work correctly if you are replacing a 'contents' type of thing. The 'logical' way around, from front-to-end, messes up the found items list, because this points to locations inside the text, and if you insert two characters where there was one when it searched, the locations of all next items are off by one -- and so on.
Javascript requires one more thing: the text that is replaced, list[f].contents, is of a type "String", and it does not accept a number, which is what the replacements array contains. Hence the explicit conversion to "String" -- it might not be necessary in AS.
You can translate this to AS, and you can also simply use this Javascript (JS scripts work the same on both Windows and Mac ID). Fill the replacements array with the numbers you have and run the script. If you forgot or added a number, the script will notice this and exit; if you inserted a wrong number it'll never know ... so do check before and after running either Javascript or Applescript!

It is a little tricky, but it can be done by using nested rules. The playlist pictured below will do what you want: all songs by the named artists, as long as the song has 4 or 5 stars.
Note: The ellipsis ("...") button is used to nest a rule. It appears automatically on Windows, but on the Mac you have to use the Option key.

Help - Trying to email 2 page PDF but only first page is attaching

I have been trying to email a two page pdf (resume) but each time in Mail, it only attaches the first page (actually, it doesn't attach it but paste the first page of the pdf into the document).
I've tried this three different ways, all with the same result:
1) First I created the document in Pages '09, then saved it as a PDF. When I open up the PDF itself, the entire two page document is there. When open on the PDF document, I click the share button, select mail, and when a mail window opens up, only the first page of my resume appears pasted into the body of the email.
2) I open a new window in Mail, I click on the paperclip to attach a document, I select the two page PDF I created, and once again, only the first page appears pasted into the body of the email.
3). When on the Pages version of my resume, I go to File, then Print, and select "Mail PDF" from the PDF drop down menu...once again only page 1 is pasted into the body of the email.
I also tried this with a different document and once again only the first page gets pasted.
I am running Mac OSX Version 10.9

Are you sure that it is only the first page? It is a file and usually only the first page shows, but the rest are there.
What happens when you double click on the pdf in the email?

Simple certificate expired - multiple webgates but only one down

We have OAM 10.1.4.2 and multiple webgates on different web servers. The certificate expired but only one webgate had problem. Users were able to login to other applications protected by the webgates. All webgates were using the same certificate. Once we updated the certificate in the access server and restarted the access server, other webgates start having problem? Shouldn't all webgates will have problem connecting to access server as soon as certificates expires.

I would expect all the WebGates to see the same problem, assuming they do use the same certs. It is possible that they are only checked when establishing the connections to the Access Servers - so they will only see problems when the connections are re-established.

Master pages are used a background for body pages (similar to a background image).
You should put all your contents on separate body pages instead master pages.

Multi mapping after container append operation gets only first message

XI environment with SP16
I have a simple integration process scenario with a container operation collecting two messages (identical).
The input to the interface mapping correctly has 0..outbounded and the map is just a java pass through. The process consists of just one receive step, two container operations, a transformation step and a async send step. The output received only contains the first
message in the collection.
Is there any obvious reason why this is happening? (I have checked and rechecked for proper types, attributes, and tested the transformation step individually.

I did have 0..unbounded in the source message settings. (I did see the <Messsages>.. wrapper in the Test tab and in fact it works ok if we use Message Mapping (in my case where multiple messages are of the same type). However, when I have multiple (different) type messages, I got a Mapping..BaseruntimeException even though it worked ok during unit test.
Now, if I have a Java mapping, it clearly does not pass multiple messages (with 0..unbounded in interface mapping for source). I only get the first in the collection.
I have a feeling that XI does not do any preprocessing in the case of Java mapping step (including the wrapping of multiple messages). If that is true, then it is a bug.
Another thing: when I have different type of messages as input - not a collection but distinct message types in the interface mapping - and if I have Java mapping, then I get an error "No Message interface defined for parameter 2" in the workflow log. But I am more concerned with why it does not wrap multiple messages and pass it to the java mapping transformation step.

Four pages of apps in iTunes, but only first two pages visible on iPhone!

If I connect my iPhone 4 to my notebook and launch iTunes, I can see four pages of apps on my phone - two pages, then a blank page, then a further two pages.
However, looking at the phone itself, only the first two pages are visible (and only two little dots at the bottom of the home page).
I can shuffle the apps around in iTunes without any difficulty, but when I press 'apply' the sync ends with everything back as it was in the first place.
iOS and iTunes both up-to-date, rebooting and soft reset doesn't fix.

Song downloaded from iTunes plays fine in iTunes, but only first 15 seconds will play on iPod then skips to next song?

Songs that I download from iTunes play ok in iTunes. On iPod classic though, SOME (but not ALL) of these downloaded songs will only play for 15 seconds or so before it skips to the next song. It is random in that some songs off the same album will do this, but others not. Any ideas?

Try this Hard Reset
After charging till full charge, at least 2 hours (preferably 4 hours)
Toggle the Hold switch, make sure you dont see the red mark when you do the next step
Reset the iPod -> Press Menu and Center button simultaneously for about 10 secs till the Apple Logo comes ON
Then release the buttons
Select your preferred language.
Test the sound again.

If these songs are in MP3 format, google and download MP3 Validator and run through songs in the library.

Multiple bugs in multiple apps but only for me and not my friends

I have a lot of problems with various apps that ONLY happen for me, none of my friends with the same apps get these problems.
I have tried the following:
Backup and restore - doesnt fix it
start over again redownloading the apps by syncing - Seems to fix things, a few days or a week later the problems reappear (might be after I did another sync)
started on my 3gs, also happens on my 4
So I think there is a problem in my account somewhere and no idea how to fix it at all.
So really what I would like to do is just transfer only my app purchases to a new account and start fresh from there, I wouldnt even mind if the old account was then deleted either but I dont mind either way
Oh and before someone asks its not and never has been jailbroken.

Stream multiple bitrates but only save one to file?

I have configured FMLE to stream 2 bitrates to Ustream.
For 'Save to File' the manual says add "%i" to name which saves both bitrates to disk.
Is their a way to choose one bitrate to save to disk?

Hi Kosta,
I think that the counts only get updated if you automatically sync your iPod. If the iPod is on manual update the count shouldn't change.
Shouldn't be too hard to test but I'm not near my iPod at the moment.
