VDI 3 Final version, SSGD in array??

Hi there
in a production environment, the installation script (vda-config) recommends three Sun Ray servers for FOG and VDI! I got that one, but what about SSGD. Do I create an array of servers? Is that in the license as well?

Lars,
There are no limitations in the way how you setup SGD or the SGD array. This is all covered by the VDI 3 license. The limitation is around what you can access through SGD. This is a desktop per concurrent user. Application publishing requires a full SGD license.

No one who knows can say, because Mavericks is not released yet.
To get a Free copy that can be updated, you need to have a paid developer membership, at a minimum cost of at least US$100/ annually. (This may also include one Developer Tech Support incident and other benefits.)
Apple has lowered the cost of new versions of Mac OS X to about US$20. If Mavericks is released at about that price, buying a legitimate copy instead of depending on a quirky developer version that cannot be updated should not be a difficult decision.

First of all I was not one of iTues users till by chance discovered its amazing features of downloading all kinds of items that help in education in particular. I set up iTunes version 8 I gusse and it was working properly either by using direct connect to the material or downloading it. Then, I made I mistake when I tried version 11 and everything stopped working. No downloading or even connecting the web. I'm a student and I'm in a bad need to this wonderful programme. I must not forget that I tried many steps to solve this problem by uninstalling iTunes with its contents from its roots till registry files, and I set up the old version once and then the newer version 11 and finally version 9 and all my trials were in vain. Please I need your help and advise. I'm looking forward for your reply and thanks in advance for your care.

I downloaded the beta version of ACR 6.7 to have a driver for the new Nikon D800. I installed it and got the message that this version espires some time soon.
When will there be the final version out? Is there already a date for it?

There is no publically announced release date....Adobe doesn't do that. But rest assured the beta will run and the GM release will happen before the end of the beta date.

Best way to archive the final version of Aperture?

I'm not going to migrate to Photos, and I'm still running 3.4.5 on 10.7.5. I don't want to upgrade now, but I won't have a choice when I buy a new computer.
I want to have the final version of Aperture available to me when that happens. I'm moving to LR, but I still want access to my Aperture library.

You first have to install it, then copy the installed version from the Applications folder to a backup drive. Applications from the App Store are stand-alone versions. You can restore them by copying them back from a backup. And if you upgraded to Aperture 3.6, the App Store should show it in your Purchases for downloading again, even if it will no longer be sold at the AppStore.
But before you can back it up, you need to install the upgrade. The update is only available from the AppStore, not from the downloads page, and the App Store will only show you the update, if you have a compatible MacOS X version installed. You can only update to Aperture 3.6 from a Mac that is running Aperture 3.6.
Both Photos and iPhoto will be able to open your Aperture Library for browsing. But you would need iPhoto 9.6.1 and this update also requires a Mac running Yosemite.
There's no way to archive the app to disk? What happens if someone has a hard drive failure after they pull it from the App Store? Are they just out of luck?
I'm bot sure, if I understood your question correctly, DLS, but you an always restore Aperture from your Time Machine backup or bootable clone.
Only, you cannot download a version of Aperture, if your installed MacOS X is not compatible with that version. To be able to archive Aperture 3.6 now, you need first a compatible system.

Mobileme does not upload final version of my imovie

I am publishing my imovie project in my Mobileme gallery and for some reason, Mobileme does not use the version that I see in my project area (the final version). Any idea how I can fix this? I only have one version of my project so I am not sure what is happening...

What I notice is that the version of the movie on the mobileme site does not incorporate some of the very last changes I made to the film-re organizing the text in various titles.

Apple has a rainbow of working arrangements with various 3rd parties.
From the onsite testing labs in the Bay Area to coders/studios that have far reaching needs, there are any number of efforts going on that are well ahead of the consumer-level products seen by the masses. This is what drives what eventually arrives on computers of both garden variety devs and consumers.
Don't expect too much detail, however, as the NDAs are very strict at that level.

On my computer, the installation replaced the Lightroom 5 beta. Lightroom 5 (final version) opened with the beta catalog. Then I went to File/Open Catalog and chose my Lightroom 4 catalog. A copy of that catalog was created and converted. Nothing very difficult, in my opinion.

Finally. The CS3 SDK is now available on http://www.adobe.com/devnet/photoshop You might have to make a new request for the CS3 SDK. Remember you DO NOT need to purchase anything. To expand on Rudegar's comment, often, updating a jailbroken or hacked phone will permanently brick the phone.
If your phone was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it, it is now most likely completely useless.

You can drag and drop a file from TM to the desktop.
Let's say your newsletter is on the desktop. First thing to do is to add something to the file name, say Newsletter_1.
Next open TM as if it is just another external drive by double clicking the icon. (This is not the same as "Enter Time Machine" which you do when you want to restore.) The file hierachy in TM follows the same logic as on your hard drive. Navigate to the date you want, find the file you want, and drag and drop it where you want it to be. Because you changed the name of the most recent version you can both files in the same space.
I do this often.
But remember if you make a back up now you will end up with both versions in TM.

Just to re-iterate the issue: You uploaded an image from Elements to Revel. Later you edited the image in Elements (creating a version set). Now both (the original as well as edited) images are shown in Revel. You want only to have the latest version.
There can be two solutions to this problem depending upon your expected outcome as:
-- You want latest image on Revel but want all versions available in Elements - For this case refer to this post: Revel: How can I only show the last version in Revel and keep the different versions in Elements?
- You want only latest image on both Revel and Elements: For this workflow there no one time setting. To do that, you can simply delete the older versions from either Elements or Revel. This will automatically result into only final versions of photos into both Revel and Elements.
Please let me know if I missed something here.
