VDN Return Destination feature in UCCE ?

We have a requirement. Please find the scenario below and do let me know how feasible this requirement is in Cisco environment ?
1)     Call routed to Agent desktop.
2)     When Agent disconnects the call, that call has to be sent to IVR for survey?
3)     This has to happen only when Agent disconnects the call and not when Customer disconnects the call.

This has to happen without any manual intervention or customization at desktop level.
Above scenario is very much feasible Avaya environment thorough VDN return Destination.
About VDN Return Destination
The VDN Return Destination feature allows an incoming trunk call to be placed back in vector processing after all parties, except the originator, drop. This feature is activated through switch administration of the VDN form. This feature is included in the Avaya Contact Center Deluxe package and the Avaya Contact Center Elite package.
A field on the VDN form allows the user to enter a VDN extension as a Return Destination. In this section, the VDN which has the Return Destination field administered will be called the VDN with this feature active. The Return Destination VDN (the one specified in the new field) will be referred to as the Return Destination.
Every incoming trunk call that is processed through a VDN with this feature active will be placed back in vector processing when all parties on the call, except the originator, drop. For this feature, the originator is the incoming party that originated the call at the time the call entered the VDN with this feature active.

Does UCCE have any mechanism where this can be achieved ?
Thanking you in advance.

David - thanks for the reply, but that is exactly what I don't want to do.   I already have an outside system (been using since 2009) which has an extremely sophisticated post call survey + inbound survey + direct mail (they then dial into the inbound survey)  + email (w/ weblink) + texting + social media + api tool (to integrate into our website).   This allows our customer to respond to one centralized platform regardless of their preferred method of communication.
With the Avaya's "Return Destination", I can easily route calls to this outside solution by creating a vector.   I will be the first to admit I know little about the Cisco platform, but I don't see anything comparable which allows me the flexibility to transfer the caller after the Agent hangs up.   From what I read in the past, the CVP post call survey option doesn't allow me to transfer call to an outside system like Avaya.

    I L-O-V-E the "Next Destination" feature that occasionally pops up on my iPhone 4S pull-down screen. UNFORTUNATELY, it only comes up randomly and infrequently, and seldom when I really need it. I've been told that the feature "educates" itself based on my movements and location services settings, which I keep turned on in relation to the feature; this does not seem to be working for my situation.
    I have a VERY long commute through some of Los Angeles' worst traffic, AND I have a very RANDOM schedule. Here's the improvement I would like to see for "Next Destination": it should either be programmable so that one can set it for one's particular situation, OR, preferably, it should be a feature that one can call up AT ANY TIME, on demand.
    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE—make it so!

  • Raw Socket always drop packets and return Destination Unreachable

    Ho folks,
    I have an application program that opens a raw socket to expect for UDP message incoming from the network.
    However everytime I receive a package the Solaris 10 OS return a ICMP - Destination (port) unreachable, and no message
    is send to my application.
    I did test the same application in linux and it worked well, all that I have to do was disable ICMP responses using iptables.
    Just to make things clear:
    In linux the OS was sending the ICMP - Destionation (port) unreachable, however my program was
    receiving the packets anyway. So just to stop those messages I did use the iptables. However, in
    Solaris 10 the ICMP response is sending back and no message is forward to my application.
    Would your guys help me to solve that?
    Thanks in advance

    Folks, here I go again...:-)
    I have been spent some time, trying to figure out why it is not work. I read in books and internet, that BSD raw sockets DO NOT allow us to receive TCP/UDP packages. However the linux implementation DOES allow. That is because it work in linux but not in solaris.
    Given that, such information is 100% true (book: Unix NetworkProgramming, 3rd edition), I would like to ask your guys what I can do to solve my problem.
    Basically what I need is create an application that:
    1) Allows to bind thousand of sockets at the same time (it is a media server that handles thousand of RTP connections)
    This I believe I can do using socket multiplexing (e.g. select() )
    2) Read not only the packet data, I need to retrieve the whole packet address (including IP, UDP, Upper Layers...)
    When using SOCK_DGRAM with IPPROTO_UDP, I can get the messages but I can't get the IP header
    3) Uses something like raw socket to send messages, here I believe I can use raw socket with no problem, is just sending messages
    Thanks and Regards

  • Using destinations feature in word

    Love destinations and acrobat plus.  Is there a means to paste a destination link into a MS word document - and referencing a pdf already stored in acrobat.com (plus)?

    The graphic is likely a pixel based/image format.
    Images are downsampled upon pdf creation to the anticipated need.
    If you chose Standard Quality for the pdf, the image graphic is at 72 pixels per inch, much less than suitable for anything other than images on screen.
    If the graphic incorporated type or sharp lines and edges, a minimum suggested pixel per inch setting would be 600.
    Choosing High Quality as the pdf preset may suffice.
    We would need to know the type of image used in the Word document. A screenshot would help.

  • Has Keynote 6.2 returned all features of 5.3?

    I have been holding off on upgrading to Keynote 6 for Mac because I am aware of the reduced feature set compared to v5. Does the latest update to 6.2 add enough features for me to run my 50+ Keynotes created in v5 or should I hold off longer?

    Most, if not all, of the builds and transitions are back. The only way to be sure is to download and find out for yourself. Installing Keynote 6 doesn't erase Keynote 5. They're installed side-by-side. Just look in the iWork 09 folder for the older Keynote.

    Hi Juan,
              Check out the jms performance whitepaper posted on dev2dev, or find
              attached to post:

              It contains a section on emulating 7.0 distributed queues in 6.1.
              Also check out the newsgroup thread on "Approximating Distributed Queues

              It extends the above whitepaper to cover topics...
              I think you may need 6.1, an easy upgrade from 6.0.

  • Having trouble getting named destinations to work

    I have been trying to add named destinations to a PDF so that I can navigate a viewer to a particular place in a document via a URL such as http://mysite.com/mypdf.pdf#nameddest=blah.
    This is not working at all. The URL simply brings them to the beginning of the document. The named destinations feature of Acrobat is really not very complicated. My named destination is clearly there in the document. What could be preventing this from working?
    Thanks

    The embed code looks right. It must be something wrong with your JS/CSS on the page. Almost seems like you have something transparent on top of the form or something. I'm not a JS/CSS/HTML expert so I can't help anymore than that...

  • Return Receipt of an email in Safari?

    Is there a return receipt feature in safari that allows for the sender to be notified when the recepient has opened an email?
    Imac   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Are you talking about the "mail" application?

  • Return Receipt (Mail 3.3)

    There are often times when I need to know if someone has at least received my email. Is there any way to get a return receipt for email that has been sent from Apple Mail 3.3? My work email allows me to check if I want a return receipt. I have looked in the help menu and may be searching the wrong terms because I can't find anything there.

    I agree that (1) a return receipt feature would be nice, (2) that receiving email with a "return receipt" demand is annoying, (3) a return receipt that the recipient can decline AND read the email is worthless.
    Thunderbird, which looks like a much smarter free client than Apple Mail, allows you to request a receipt on a case-by-case basis. I agree setting it globally makes one look rather overly anxious. Also, I'm not sure Apple Mail even honors incoming receipt requests!
    I want something that works like old-fashioned certified mail: the recipient can sign for and read or decline and NOT read the message. I get date-stamped notice either way. It might also send you a notice that an email has not been picked up after a certain interval and has presumably been lost. This addresses the lost-mail scenario and is useful in the situation where the recipient pretends not to receive emails and blamed the sender (as you might suppose, a phone call is not a good alternative with such a person). The who-said-what-when can be invaluable, not just in litiagtion contexts but in figuring out where communication broke down so that it doesn't happen again. The log should be created automatically.
    So, no email client can really fix this. (Apple mail should still have the option to request receipt!) The only way I can see for this to work is to go through a 3rd party. Ideas?
    For now, yes, request a reply when it's important!!!!
    One alternative I hate to mention is the "bug" the emails. Services such as didtheyreadit embed invisible images or html tricks in emails and report back every time the message is opened or forwarded, including time, date, IP address, and other details. Maybe this doesn't break the law in that it doesn't reveal private information about the person's computer etc. any more than their picking up the phone does, BUT I dislike it and think the recipient should, as with certified mail, have a chance to decline seeing the message altogether. Perhaps one could bug AND advise the recipient that you do so. At least it is automatic and provides a 3rd-person log that you can point to in a dispute and not be accused of fabricating. Not that I know personally, ahem, but it does work quite well provided the recipient doesn't know how to block it. Admissible in court? I'm not sure.

  • Why does user_pref("capability.policy.default.Location.href", "allAccess"); no longer work in FireFox 4? How can I re-enable this feature?

    On upgrading to FireFox 4 from 3.6.15, I noticed that my capability.policy.default items in the prefs.js file were no longer working (the custom site that I run locally needs access to this attribute, amongst others) - how can I go about returning this feature back on?
    Example CAPS entry:
    user_pref("capability.policy.default.Location.href", "allAccess");
    I've had to downgrade again to 3.6.15 until I can get this to work.
    Tested on Windows XP (SP3), and using existing/new profiles in FF 4.0 and using prefs.js and user.js - nothing can get the Javascript code to read the location.href and getting an error generated in the error console.
    Also tested on Mac OS X 10.6.7 with FF 4.0 - still no luck getting capability.policies to work.
    Please help...

    I've been beating my head against this problem for a few hours, and I finally solved it. I'd been trying to set a capability policy using the "magic" default policy, and nothing would work - I could disable properties and functions of the Window object, but not the Location object.
    It turns out that if I set a custom policy name, and named the specific sites I wanted the policy to apply to, it works! The only hitch is that you'll have to build a whitelist of sites that are allowed to have this kind of access, instead of allowing any site to access it by default. I think this is prudent security policy, in order to prevent XSS attacks.
    So, for your case, instead of this:
    user_pref("capability.policy.default.Location.href", "allAccess");
    use this instead:
    user_pref("capability.policy.policynames", "hrefaccess");
    user_pref("capability.policy.hrefaccess.sites", "http://example.com http://www.example.com");
    user_pref("capability.policy.hrefaccess.Location.href", "allAccess");
    I haven't tested this code, but a similar implementation for my problem did the trick. I hope this helps!

  • S60 v3 fp2 destinations not working in all applica...

    hi all
    I have an n79 and i have noticed that the new access point prioritization using the destinations feature  in s60 v3fp2 does not work in all the device applications. e.g. the share online app does not see the internet destination but my access points (3G, WLAn...) so I need to manually select the access point. Is this an n79 bug?
    rrgards

    I too am frustrated by this.
    It works great with new apps (such as the internal Web Browser).
    *some* other apps seem to show a "default" access point, which actually uses the "destination" group you "mark as default" in the connectivity menu
    both these are great.
    Then there's other apps which only show individual APs and no "default".
    I struggle to see why the implementation couldn't have made a virtual AP available via the "old" interface (for old apps). There are already 3rd party apps that do this, including many VPN clients as well as "psiloc connect" (see http://connect.psiloc.com/ ) -- but sadly that isn't available on FP2.
    There's so much about the N96 that's "nearly there" but so frequently is let down by a lack of consideration of the end user experience. Examples include
     - battery life (could have been 30-40% more for the sake of ~1mm)
     - Access points (as above)
     - removal of wifi client
     - sluggishness of response

  • Wich feature anyinteract with more than 1 other feature

    Hi,
    I have a simple spatial query that show information from other layer
    SELECT A.NAME, B.NAME
    FROM LAYERA A, LAYERB B
    WHERE SDO_ANYINTERACT(A.SHAPE, B.SHAPE) = 'TRUE';
    My question is: I need to show the name of features of the layer LAYERA that have an interaction "ANYINTERACT" with MORE than 1 feature of LAYERB.
    Thank you very much.

    I have founded the answer in this page: http://www.stanford.edu/dept/itss/docs/oracle/10g/appdev.101/b10826/sdo_operat.htm#BGEDACIF
    Using the SDO_OVERLAPS function, the query return the features that touch more than 1 object in relation.
    SELECT
         A.NAME, B.NAME
    FROM
         LAYERA A, LAYERB B
    WHERE
         SDO_OVERLAPS(B.SHAPE,A.SHAPE) = 'TRUE';

  • E75 Mail and Destinations

    Hello,
    Does anyone know how to set up Mail to use Destinations? Can't see it anywhere, I have to keep selecting WIFI at home and 3G out. I don't get any signal in my house.
    Cheers, Keiran.

    You need to install Birdstep Smartconnect. Its a free download and works perfectly. I have it set to 2 wireless connections (home & work) as 1st and 2nd priority and 3G as 3rd priority. It works well changing between connections seamlessly for MfE. It can confuse connections to browse. I'm experimenting with a Smartconnect destination for that also.
    Once you have installed SC you will find it in your applications folder. You can set up a group of connections that you have already configured using the native destinations feature. You give the group a name, I used MAIL. Then you go to mailbox settings in MfE and in advanced settings you can set your access point to your new SC group. Perfect.

    Hi -
    We have a CS-MARS just installed and in the Dashboard under "Activity - All Events and NewFlow - Top Destination Ports", it lists the top port as "0". What is this and why is it doing it?
