And she is from Turkey. I talked to people from US, South Africa and other remote countries but I can't establish connection with Turkey! And i'm from Poland. Does Turkey block connection from Poland? She has the same problem. She can't connect only with me - she talks to people from all over the world expect me. Can you help me?

  • Help! Can't Connect, DHCP Not Issuing Correct IP Address

I get an vDSL connection and have a home LAN set up with both Ethernet and Airport. Usually, when a computer connects through DHCP, it gets an AP Address of 192.168.0.x, "x" being a number higher than 1, depending on when it connected to the network. My desktop iMac works fine in this regard, with an internal IP address of 192.168.0.5, and the router being 192.168.0.1.
The problem: My Powerbook also used to do this fine, but suddenly this morning it could not connect to the network via Airport or Ethernet, with one or the other turned off, or both turned on.
The key: via Ethernet, the DHCP automatically sets to 10.0.1.4, with the router as 10.0.1.1--which, if I am not mistaken, is the Airport address system. But this is not under "Airport" in the Network control panel, it's under "Ethernet," and thus my problem. I cannot get the danged IP Address to go back to the correct Ethernet address! I tried restarting, turning Airport off, renewing the DHCP license, and trying the assistant features--nothing worked. My Powerbook is completely offline--and I have to use this for my workj in just a few hours!
    Help! Thanks!

OK, never mind. It turns out that I had plugged in the ethernet cable to the wrong port on the Airport base station. Somehow that was mucking everything up. I switched the port, and now it works fine.

  • Error in connecting to maintenance page

Hello, I'm using Broadband-wireless router Model
    BEFW11S4 - v4.
I'm using VDSL connection with the router
(the VDSL modem can connect to ISP by itself)
so the router is operated like a switching HUB w/wireless capablity,
and the configuration is worked well, but someday It gone.
    so I tried to connect to maintenance page but It didn't work;
after sereval hours of struggling, I got some facts:
    1. ping test to host 192.168.1.1 didn't say "no such server"
                                      but "Req. time out"
    2. when connect the modem to Downstream 1, and all other clients
are connected to other downstream port, anyway, the net is shared.
(and the IP of computer is same as the modem is directly
       connected to client computer.)
    3. when connect the modem to upstream(internet), and all other clients
are connected to other downstream port, the router build its
inter-network, assigned internal IP address, and all the thing looks
no problem... but the net is not shared.
    I'm waiting your sincere help..
    thanks.

what ip add do u get with the computer directly connected to the modem ?? also , if u cannot ping 192.168.1.1 , ensure that the firewall on that computer is turned off...go to the LAN card's properties and reduce its Link Speed to 10 Mbps half mode ....
if nothing works , reset the router for a minute and do a power cycle....try to ping again ..

  • WRVS4400N Multicast / IPTV / T-Home Entertain / VDSL 50

    Hi!
There a two problems with my WRVS4400Nv2 (Firmware 2.0.0.7) - I use a VDSL 50 internet connection with IPTV (T-Home Entertain):
    1. Upload speed is very slow: 2048 kbit/s (should be 10000 kbit/s)
I deactivated "IPS", bacause the download speed was around 22000 kbit/s only - now I have 44000 kbit/s. But the upload speed still is very slow.
    2. I get no Live TV with my connected T-Home Receiver. ("Multicast" is enabled). But VOD (video on demand = T-Home call it "TV-Archiv") is possible.
Is there someone in Germany, have the same issues or a solution for me?
    Regards,
    Bernd

As far as I know T-Home separates their VDSL Connections into different Virtual Networks.
There is one VLAN for Data and another one for TV.
In my opinion you will need a Router which is able to handle multiple VLAN’s on the WAN Interface.

  • Can my Router work with ADSL2/ VDSL?

I have been using a Linksys Wireless-G ADSL  WAG200G, Annex-A  Gateway Router and it has been fine, now my ISP have told me that they are modernising the network and will need a router capable of managing ADSL2/ VDSL connections, so will my router be able to do that or will I have to buy a new one? It has firmware 1.01.09, any info would be much appreciated.
Edit: I see in the DSL Modulation menu which is set at present to "Multimode" I also have options to select ADSL2, ADSL2+, ADSL2 AnnexM, ADSL2+ AnnexM and ASDL2 AnnexL but I do not see any mention of "VDSL"
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

No. The router does not support VDSL. You'll need a new modem. This "problem" is the main reason why I generally recommend to get a separate, simple modem and an ethernet router. The ethernet router works independent from the access technology, i.e. you can switch the technology from ADSL to VDSL or to cable and all you have to change is the modem and you still can continue to use the router.
You would only have to upgrade the ethernet router if it's too old and slow to handle your new internet speed...

  • E-Mail in iOS 7.0.2 with massive problems sending big e-mails

    Dear all,
i have massive problems in sending e-mails with attachments using iOS 7.0.2 on an iPhone 5s using iCloud E-Mail services.
If i try to send more than one photo done with the iPhone, it is just sending and sending, but after an endless time nothing got sent. Even if i am connected via WLAN to a fast VDSL connection, sending of big e-mails (somewhat about 4 or 5 MB) does not work.
Additionally the push e-mail is not working correctly (located in Germany) and the time plan for receiving e-mails does not work sufficient either. I just have download e-mails manually.
Does anyone else have this problem with sending bigger e-Mails?

  • Static IP Subnet Network

I have a communications bundle, meaning my provider provides television and internet services across a single connection. While they also provide a telephone connection but I declined that service. The net result is the my provider forces me to use their equipment which includes a wireless router. Their router does not support 802.11n and its wireless has some performance issues because the router is trying to do too much.
Because I have Apple products on my wireless network I decided to purchase an AirPort Extreme for its 802.11n support as well as its synergy with Apple products. The Airport Extreme is connected to my provider's router via Ethernet.
All of my wireless devices are configured with static IP address which I would like to continue using with my AirPort Express. The static IP network is 192.168.128.240 with as mask of 255.255.255.240.
How can I set this up on an AirPort Extreme?

    edex67,
Basically what I am attempting to do is cascade routers with the AirPort Extreme being beneath the providers router (Cisco 3800HGV-B). A vDSL connection goes to the Cisco 3800HGV-B which has a four port hub and wireless (now turned off). On one of the ports is connected to a DVR (digital video recorder) which provides the HDMI to my television. The Cisco 3800HGV-B is required because it provides the multicast video to the DVR.
The DVR (another Cisco product) only accepts DHCP, no configuration option for static IP. So on the
Cisco 3800HGV-B I have a DHCP range of 1 just to support the DVR. All other devices that connect to the Cisco 3800HGV-B have static IP addresses, including the AirPort Extreme.
This all works only with the AirPort Extreme in bridge mode.
I am not certain if the limitations of the AirPort Extreme is due to the AirPort Utility or the AirPort Extreme. I am thinking both. My 10 year old Cisco router could do it but it had no 802.11n capability nor did it like anything but pure IP, no Bonjour kind of support.

  • Exciting! BT Infinity being rolled out - could I h...

    Hello,
I've been watching excitedly as the FTTC has been rolled all over our town (Ramsbottom) and the new Huawei cabs are being put in place. Hoorah. We are due to get Infinity in Q1 2011 and it's looking great. Our nearest cab is being installed today 30 metres away which is just brilliant news.
What I'm after is some photographic evidence of a typical installation inside the home. I've googled and googled and it's just not been done yet. This would be sooooo... useful for many of the peoples questions on this forum. As soon as Infinity is installed in my house, I will photograph it to help others. I'd like to see if possible:
    The Faceplate from the front.
The Wire connecting the Faceplate to the VDSL modem in situ.
The ports on the VDSL modem close enough to read the writing.
The VDSL connection to the homehub (I'm not too interested in this as it's just a CAT-5).
I'm interested as to what the cable connection is between the Faceplate and VDSL really as this isn't clear from any instructions/manuals/diagrams. The photos on BT's site are just too small to be able to read the detail.
If someone could help, you'd make me very happy and even more excited!

  • Multicast video on-demand

    Hi,
I have a problem with my ip-cameras(Bosh, Axis and Sony). They all work nicely with unicast, but with multicast there is trouble as it follows:
-Bosh: Takes up to five seconds to join and get image.
    - Axix: Up to 20 seconds.
    - Sony: Under demand it creates the group (*,G) but never the entrance (F,G). I never get any image under multicast.
Anyone with a similar experience? Please, share and/or help.
    All the best,
    Fernando

This is ridiculous, as with others just started getting disconnections every 30 minutes. Luckily for me I'm not using the HH5 for the VDSL connection

If Is this a connector that was soldered to the Logic Board, if you find an authorized Apple repair center that can resolder the old connector OR desolder/resolder a new purchased  replacement connector that would be best.
Otherwise, you are out of luck and will have to pay to get a new, replacement Logic board.
This is what happens when someone, like yourself, who maybe a newbie/novice with Macs and with iMacs that decides to break into a Mac that was never designed for the inexperienced users to tinker with and upgrade these style Macs.
This is a very difficult Mac model to work on for very experienced Mac upgraders!
I consider myself very experienced with upgrading Macs over the years, and even I won't break into these new, aluminum style iMacs.
Apple designers and engineers have made these iMacs pretty much a daunting and tedious task for an end user to upgrade anything or work on anything inside of these Macs.
As you have found out the hard way, there a lot of fiddly, finicky small parts and connectors that can be prone to breakage.
I have given you my best advice, but bottom line you are now completely on your own to fix this, now.
If you need a new Logic board replacement, Apple MAY ( or may not) decide to help you and order and install a new logic board. This will be expensive.
You will have better luck with an authorized Apple reseller/repair center for the Logic Board replacement if it comes to that, but you'll still pay for the expensive replacement.

I Plumped for the RT-N66U and have been quite pleased - Bear in mind you'll still need the modem
I believe the DSL-N66U that the OP is after, does not need the OR Modem:
True two-in-one modem router with Ethernet WAN and DSL WAN
Dual system design offers more performance and flexibility for wired and wireless connections
Gigabit Ethernet ports for the fastest, most reliable internet performance
File and printer sharing via two multi-functional USB ports
ASUSWRT dashboard UI for easy setup, signal monitoring, and network application control
    Auto-detecting ADSL/VDSL connection with CD/manual-free setup

No it looks like you are getting the best speed, your Noise Margin is near 6db which is the minumum the connection likes to be at, it appears that DLM is doing its job right.

If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked.  I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed.  eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money.  I sell phones for a living and this happens a lot
