Vector symbols in plan view (top down)

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get vector symbols looking directly down on items? Plan view? This is for illustrating site plans and floor plans. Free would be great, but I'm willing to pay for them if necessary. I'm looking for household items, fridge, pool table, dining table, etc.

Hierarchy not getting displayed in BPS top down planning

HI
As per our business requirement we have enhanced planning levels 4MP70000 and 4MP80000 to make it as planning function for four quarters. This is working fine as expected but we are facing issues in hierarchy. When implemented from CRM side we are seeing them as indpendent structures and not as hierarchies. Also the constraint that the sum of child node amounts should not exceed the parent node is not getting implemented. We used the hierarchy variable 4MKTHI01.
Please guide us what could be the issue and any help on this is greatly appreciated.

We got the sloution for this:
We need to make the hierarchy setting and tick the check entry box in top down planning layout. Then this is automatically taken care of.

Not reflecting the sales offices for top down manual planning hierarchy

I hava an Hierarchy like from District to Offices
for eg: for district-                'ZBHDEL' I have salesoffice like 100, 101, 102, 103,105.
like wise for other district          'zbhyd' i have salesoffices like 200, 201, 202.
I have created the Mannual layout with Hierachy datamodel with BPS characteristics, TOP-DOWN, AND enabled check entry.
In the additional setting i have select All Possible combinations.
District at Headerlevl, along with Product and Division
and selected salesoffice at Leadcoloumn.
My Planning levell and package contains : for sales office slected Hierarchy at planning level.

*The Prolem is when i input some plan for a district ZBHDEL from the other layout, WHEN I RUN THE sALES OFFICE hIERARCHY
Mannual Layout its not reflecting the sales office where i have to plan for the salesoffices by seeing the values
of planned District.
where as for one district i can able to see the sales offices. even i have maintained the masterdata at Infoobject level.
Can anybody please help me out.

Create hierarchy for sales district info-object in following way.
Sales District         Text Node                          Level 1
Sales Distirct         Characteristics Node         Level 2
                              value 1 = ZBHDEL
                              value 2 = ZBHYD
sales Office          Characteristics Node         Level 3
                              values will be according to district (include diff sales offices for diff districts in level 2)
restrict district to this hierarchy in planning level and plan according by both approaches (create 2 seperate layouts):
Top down - to plan at main node i.e. sales district
bottom up - to plan at sub node i.e. sales office

How can I organize a 16 site broschure in landscape DIN lang format? You reed this broschure top-down!

I tried to create a broschure with 16 sites. Open format of one site is 210x210 Closed format is 210x99. I tried a lot but I beleave Indesign accept only to organise the printarea from left to right. But I need a top-down site oranisation.
I hope anyone know the answer.

You have to set up your brochure in portrait!
You can rotate the view on screen of your spreads in 90° steps during your work. Only one problem remains, the baseline grid is not rotated, but you can use a frame based baseline grid which can be rotated, you can save this baseline grid in object styles.
Your measures are wrong: Your pages have to have w x h 105mm x 210mm.
99mm x 210mm is the Zick-Zack-fold from a DIN A4 which is 297/3mm x 210mm, this would be wrong here.

Additional Columns in ECM - Compensation Planning view

Hello
We have a requirement to hide some columns in MSS Compensation Planning view.
I know that this column framework can be configured using OADP.
But my issue is that, we wanted to hide the specific columns (like Amount) only for one compensation plan and not other plans (all these plans are in the same category "Additional payments").
Can the column framework be made Compensation Plan specific?
Could anybody suggest me?

I have similar requirement for ECM implementation that for a specific comp plan I want to display two columns otherwise not. You mentioned that you could achieve it via OADP; however I can't find any linkage between the comp plan and data view.
I can see standard data views (following and more)
MSS_ECM_APR_BON     Approval: Bonus
MSS_ECM_PLA_BON     Planning: Bonus
MSS_ECM_REV_BON     Planning: Bonus (Review)
And I believe If I change the view for MSS_ECM_*_BON; it will affect all the views related to bonus plans. I was able to add 2 columns there too.
Now question is -- Is it possible to give drop-down values to one of these columns ? e.g. my column is Status and I want to allow only 5 statuses, can I bring the drop-down in the portal without any WDJ application change ? I'd like to achieve it via config if possible.
At the column definition/config level in SPRO, I can see following:
Convers. Rout.
FM for Column Contents
FM from Column Framework
Service Key
Can I use any of these to achieve such drop-down?
Please let me know if you have any clue.

Top down approach in developmet of Web services

I am trying some initial development effort using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.1.0 version. I could successfully develop some samples using the bottom up method.
Now thinking to go the top down approach.are there any risks/pitfalls in this approach. One question is that the team has a set of XSDs representing the objects we plan to pass as parameters to the web services methods. Is there some way in which we can sync up from XSDs to the generated java classes and if there are any changes done on the java classes can it be transparently reflected to the XSDs (using any of the capabilities of JDev)
Also can we refer to the XSDs we generated, from the WSDL's so that both are separate and they are independently modifiable.
It would be great if there is any documentation of the best practices approach for similar use cases.

In NWDS 7.1 i used to create webservice.I followed the process given in sap help.
steps:
1.      In the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio, you create an EJB Project and an enterprise application project for the Web service.
2.      In the EJB Project, you create an EJB Session Bean 3.0 and implement the business logic of the Web service.
3.      You expose the EJB Session Bean 3.0 as a Web service, using the Web service wizard in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.
4.    You deploy the Web service endpoint on the application server.

Rescheduling bottom and top down

Hi friends,
we have around 25 levels of bom and every level has 8-10 items. when we execute either bottom up multi order or top down multi level heuristic, even though i select all the levels it scheduled only one level above we cannot reschedule one by one levels so is there any setting where it reschedules multiple levels simultaneously.

Hi,
In the seetings for the heuristics SAP_PP_009 (txn /SAPAPO/CDPSC11), there is a setting available under 'Basic Settings' called 'Component Check'. Please try the option 'Check Other Components'. Kindly read the help around that topic as well.
Also check the parameter 'Execute Single-Level Planning' in the heuristics SAP_PP_010.

Creating an interactive top down map of a floor of a building

Hi,
This is an extremely general high level question. I want to create a map of a building where the view is looking top down. I want to be able to add and remove different sized rooms and put a label on each room to say what it is. I don't even know what language would be best to use as I want to add it as a link to a website. If you could offer any advice as what to even look into it would be greatly appreciated.

I know that I could create an applet but is there a way to create "walls"? I know I could just draw lines but surely there is an easier way as I want to be easily able to change the layout without changing the code. I also want there to be text that appears when I go over a room but not a coridoor. Could you suggest any tools that could help me?

Year/Annual planning/view option in iCal

I would like to find a way to print a Year/Annual planning/view option in iCal, but I could not figure out a way to do it.
Does anybody knows how to do do it?
If it is not possible, can anyone recommend a script/plugin to achieve it? Or another software that can import iCal calendars and then print Year/Annual planning/view?

Me too! Please please someone reply to this request! This is a vital option that needs to be made available as a view AND print option.
Some small improvements to the print dialogo window would also be appreciated:
I think it would be more efficient if the calendars/subscriptions to print were all OFF by default: I would imagine it is more often the times you are printing a selected calendar, rather than all of them together.
The frame containing the calendars also needs to be expandable making them all visible at a glance. Scrolling through lists in a dialog is a no-no (or for Windoze).

In the view, I can see the productnumber, the key figure and the values.
Some users want to print it on paper.

CSV method of download is the SAP standard format for saving the
files.
You can either create your own custom logic for saving in excel or
use BW functionality for extracting the required fields and form a
report to save & print in excel

KE28 Top-down distribution for only part of the Value Field

Hi Experts,
We have a situation where we will make manual postings in CO-PA through KE21N. Part of this postings will be at the lowest detailed level and part will be for a more summarized level od characteristics. All the postings will flow to the same value field.
We need to make a top-down distribution only for the postings that were made in a summarized level, because the other postings already have the details that we need.
Is it possible?

Please note that :-
you can not distribute to a characteristic that already contains a
value. Please see note 77476. If you want to distribute to eg.
profit center, then the characteristic must be initial (in the data
to be distributed).
In the case where the log showed "number of receivers" but no line
written is a common problem in transaction KE28 logged by customers.
One example is that, if the amount of line items is 0.00 for all the
receivers, no line item will be written.
No values in reference data:
If there are no values in reference data for some segments (see the
log). No records are posted (segments which were distributed, but
their value is zero i.e. there is no value to be distributed, are not
posted).
No initial values in the distribution level (ie. # - non assigned)
in each of the characteristics in distribution level.

You could try increasing the java heap size, though sometimes an issue can occur if you are trying to delete a member when a workflow process has started, do you have one running?

Conversions in a planning View

Hello everyone,
In the SAP2 scenario there is a "conversion" tab available when designing a planning view (see picture). Could someone tell me how to make this Tab available?
