I really hate to sound desperate, but I've hit hard financial times and I can't pay for the subscription when I don't need it. I know this is probably to be done on an individual basis, buuuuuut it DOES say you guys have people on here 24/7, so I figure I'll give it a shot. I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. Are you the administrative contact on your Creative Cloud team subscription? The admin user doesn't receive the same set of services as a full seat, so you will have a Typekit Trial plan instead of the Portfolio plan.
You have the option of upgrading to the Portfolio level, though. If you would like to do that:
1) sign in at https://typekit.com/login with your Adobe ID and password
2) visit typekit.com/plans, and select the "upgrade" option underneath Portfolio
Your Typekit plan upgrade will be billed separately from your Creative Cloud payments. The Portfolio plan is $49.99/year.

Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser.

Here's a test you can run:
1 - copy a set of photos from the disk to a folder on the desktop.
2 - download and unzip the Automator workflow Convert to JPG and Embed sRGB profile. You can download it from Toad's Cellar.
3 - select the files in the folder and drag and drop onto the workflow app.
4 - try to import the resulting files.

There are many forms of ‘Malware’ that can affect a computer system, of which ‘a virus’ is but one type, ‘trojans’ another. Using the strict definition of a computer virus, no viruses that can attack OS X have so far been detected 'in the wild', i.e. in anything other than laboratory conditions. The same is not true of other forms of malware, such as Trojans. Whilst it is a fairly safe bet that your Mac has NOT been infected by a virus, it may have another security-related problem, but more likely a technical problem unrelated to any malware threat.

The only other thing I can suggest is to use the Repair option for iTunes.
Download the iTunes programme (do not uninstall your current iTunes) and then "install" the new copy. At some stage you should see an option to "install" or "Repair". Take the Repair option.
Once you've done that, if you still have a problem, I don't know what else to suggest, except to search through the discussions to see if anyone else has had the problem and managed to fix it.
