Vendor and Material Replication from ECC6 Ehp7 to SRM7.0
Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue with replicating Material and Vendor Master from ECC to SRM system.
ECC system - ECC6.0 Ehp 7 & SRM system - SRM7.0
Middleware setting is done as per Note 720819 and performed the object like DNL_CUST_BASIS3 , DNL_CUST_PROD0, DNL_CUST_PROD1 and found Sucess in SRM R3AM1.
Errors :
1. Material Replication Error in SMW01
Mat. for Initial Download: Table not supported by function
Alternative units of measure are inconsistent; correct the values COM_PRODUCT_UNIT COMM_PR_UNIT
Alternative units of measure are inconsistent; correct the values
Validation error occurred: Module COM_PRODUCT_MAT_VALIDATE, BDoc type PRODUCT_MAT.
2. Vendor Replication Error in BBPGETVD
Backend systems with Release 740 are not supported
Message no. BBP_BUPA002
What are all the compatabilty issues will be faced connecting SAP ECC6 Ehp7 with SRM7.0? Can any one list down.
Please Suggest the valuable comments to resolve the problem as earliest.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Experts
How do we transfer the Vendor and material groups from ECC to SRM
RegardsHi SAP MAN,
We do replicate vendors from backend system to SRM via transaction code BBP_GETVD, and products are replicated through middle ware settings.
These middleware settings are maintained in both ECC and SRM systems.

Replication of Customer and Material master from R/3 to CRM
Hi
Recently in our quality server basis administrator has made a client copy from production server after that customer master and material master are not flowing from R/3 to CRM, even sales orders were not getting copied from CRM to R/3 , i went through C71 BB config document and fixed the sales orders updation from CRM to R/3 but not able to resolve the problem of customer master and material master from ECC to CRM.
I went to B09 BB document and all settings are fine.
Using R3AS I have loaded following objects DNL_CUST_PROD0, PROD1, PROD3, SPROD , DNL_PLANT. and Material.
I went to R3AM1 and checked the status as running or wait for each object.
There are no filters in R3AC1 .
Queue name withR3AD_MATERIA0000000001 has status SYSFAIL in SMQ2 .
What can i do to resolve this problem.
Please advice.
Thanks,
VaishnaviHello Vaishnavi,
After the client copy , have you run txn:BDLS in order to change the LOGSYS in all relevant tables?
You can run this txn in test mode as well to see the affected tables.
Are you getting any dump on these load ?Check it in txn:ST22.
Hope this helps!

Problem on Material Replication from R/3 to EBP
Hi friends,
I am having a problem on Material replication from R/3 to EBP. I had configured all the required settings in EBP as well as in R/3. Whenever we are starting initial loading R3AS I am getting outbound queues in EBP instead of R/3. I am getting the error like 'The current application triggered a termination'. I could able to replicate Vendor and Locations from R/3 to EBP. If anybody can solve this problem.
Thanx in advance.
RajHi Ahmed,
Could you please elaborate. I am getting runtime error as 'Message_Type_X' (The current application triggered as termination with a short dump).
Thanks

Vendor and material assignment
Hi all,
Is there any possibility to assign vendor to materials or material to vendor? our user wants that while taking drop down for vendor in ME21N screen, only vendors who sales materials, mentioned in purchase order, will be listed down.
Any idea to do this?
Best Regards,
AI.Hi Al,
Let me first clear that, vendor and material is possible through the Source List only in case of purchase requisitions i.e. ME51N and not in case of ME21N.
Still it can be achieved through minor ABAP developement. We can add IF statement in the BADI related to ME21N and give the selection criteria as you desired vendor and material combination, so that same material get copied to PO once you use the particular vendor. As its almost like hard coding, this is not very advisable, but if the requirement is stringent then this is one of the possible solution.
Moreover Vendor to material combintation is only possible and not material to vendor. As according to transaction flow one need to enter org data and vendor first before proceeding to the further data entry.
come back in case you need to know more.

Different Pricing Schema in PO and PIR for same vendor and material
Dear Experts,
I am facing an issue related to MM.
I have a vendor and a material under a plant, purchase Org, purchase group.
When we are creating a Purchase Info Record (PIR), it is picking one pricing schema, while when creating PO for same vendor and material, it is picking another different pricing schema.
As per my knowledge, pricing schema in PO is picked as per pricing schema group of Vendor and I believe same applies for PIR as well. I have only one vendor pricing schema group.
Because of this issue, I have to manually key-in condition values in PO for all condition types even though I have maintained a purchase info record.
Please suggest, what can be reason.
Regards,
PraveenHi,
Thanks for clearing my doubts.
However, I stuck-up in another issue.
Problem is that condition type- PB00 is linked with almost all pricing schemas.
Hence, I can't change pricing procedure in condition type- PB00.
Also, I can't include all J* related condition types in RM0002 as well.
Hence, if PB00 remains as RM0002 and I maintain my pricing procedure- ZJIMPO to all J* condition types, still I am not able to create PIR for all J* conditions. Error "Condition type J1CV is not in procedure A M RM0002".
How to handle this issue? Please suggest.
Thanks

Error: Vendor and Material Import tasks fail
Hi gurus.
Our CLM Vendor and Material imports tasks have been working fine until recently when we experienced the error:
Data Import Service: File: Material20150401-101647-817.xml is corrupt and cannot be imported
We have not done changes to either CLM/PI/ERP. Please can you shed some light what's causing this error? Thanking you in advance.HI
which version and service pack you are using ?
we are using V9-SP19.
In SP16 SAP has fix an issue with Vendor import.
check this :
Fix has been done to handle the processing of Payment Term field for Vendor import. Vendor XML import file should contain a field tag as
<PAY_TERM></PAY_TERM> with desired value specified within the tag.
this might be an issue.
Thanks

Material replication from R/3 to SRM - Issue with Material group
Hello All,
I am working on BADI PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2 and method MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIALMaterial replication part from R/3 to SRM.
I am using a Ztable to map r/3 material group to SRM material group(Product category).
For example Material M1 with material group 100 is transferred to SRM. Material group(Product category) 100 exist in SRM, but I am changing the material group to 200 in the product_customer2 badi. its working fine.
In another scenario, Material with material M1 with material group 300. Material group(product category) 300 does not exist in SRM,
I am changing the material group to 200 in the bdoc, in the product_customer2 badi. It is not working. The LUW is failing in SMQ2 transaction with the error "Error in Mapping (Details: transaction SMW01)". The BDOC is failing with error "Category for material group 300 does not exist"
I tried to deactivate the badi PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2, even then the FM MAP_BAPIMTCS_AND_PROCESS is validating the material group from R/3.
I tried to change the material group 300 to the existing material group 200 at initial stage in debugging in function module MAP_BAPIMTCS_AND_PROCESS but still the bdoc is failing with error "No storage form defined for product type 01 / logical system".
I am doing my testing using the following steps.
1. change the material descriptioni in MM02 in R/3.
2. An item is displayed in the queue in SMQ2 in SRM.
3. I have debugged the LUW and analyzed my badi by setting breakpoint at method MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIAL, its changing the material group in the bdoc properly.
that didnt work.
also i tried to change the material group in the function module MAP_BAPIMTCS_AND_PROCESS before the badi is called.
4. I am checking the BDOc status using tcode SMW01 and checking the material using tcode COMMPR01.
can someone tell me how I can change the R/3 material group to SRM material group at the time of mapping in SRM?
Thanks
Sathish PMHi find below for the product cat
Steps to create the product category in SRM:
1) Create MM material groups in ECC client. This will create a transport. Go to SRM Tcode R3AS and select the object u201CDNL_CUST_PROD1u201D from the list and run it. You can monitor the job using R3AM1 in SRM. This will bring the material group into SRM. This can be seen in TCode u201CCOMM_HIERARCHYu201D in SRM.
2) Once it is done. Go to IMG in SRM and go to path SRM> SRM server> Cross app biz settings> Account aassigmnet> Define GL code for Acc *** Cat and Prod Cat. Maintain the GL code against this prod cat for all the account assignment codes. This is client specific setting and need to be done in every client by opening it. This GL code is given in the form in ticket.
3) Do a test and check if the product category is available for procurement in SC.

Overwriting Conditions data during Material Replication from R/3 to SRM.
Hi,
When creating a new info record and then running the material replication program everything looks OK. However, if for the same material you create a new info record or change the existing info record and then run the material replication, some of the previous data is removed.
We implemented BADI(PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2) to read info records from R/3. When i debug BADI all the info record and condition info is populated. Once the control leaves the BADI standard SAP code is not inserting/updating delta condition records. It is only populating latest info record.

Material Replication from ECC to SRM 7.0
Hi Experts,

Material replication from ECC to SRM
Dear SRM 7.0 Experts,
We are implementimg SRM 7.0 and we are trying to execute the Initial Load of materials into SRM 7 from ECC. We have completed all the Middleware settings and all the customising required for material replication. Whe we run the initial load (tcode R3AS) and select the first object DNL_CUST_BASIS3, it runs but the status remains "Running" in R3AM1. There is no errors in SMQ1as the entry runs and completes and therefore disappears. There is no errors recorded in SMW0 or SLG1 either. What could be the problem?
I checked in SMQ1 & SMQ2 as well, but there is no entries here for the object DNL_CUST_BASIS3. what we can do to resolve the issue ?
Regds,
CbHave you checked the outbound queue in backend R/3 system ?
Have you defined the additional user in CRMCONSUM table apart from the CRM user?
Verify and, if necessary, change or insert entries in tables CRMCONSUM and CRMRFCPAR as
described in SAP Note 430980. See also SAP Note 720819.
Hope this helps you.

Material Replication from ERP to MDM (SRM-MDM Catalog)

1. Does ERP provide any transactions to achieve this ( like MECCM / MDM_CLNT_EXTR) ?
2. Is there a necessity to use the PI system in these communications? If so, what Integration Scenario I need to use in PI Enterprise Repository?
3. Any further changes to Materials in the ERP system should automatically replicate into the MDM system.
From SRM, I create SC with items from Materials in MDM.
Please let me know if you require more information.
Thanks
KaseeDear Krupa,
Thank you for your quick reply.
So we should consider the scenario where SRM is the central repository for the contracts, and all the changes done in SRM should be replicated to ERP.
In this scenario, do you know which steps should be done to allow contract replication from SRM to ERP? I already created a central contract in SRM but there is no message sent to PI.
Thanks in advance.

MPN, block PO for a vendor and material (not MPN material)
Hello everyone,
I have a doubt regarding MPN process I created a MPN material referencing an internal material. I have a vendor and a manufacturer.
If I create a purchase order with the MPN material (in the line the internal material comes automatically) and vendor and the manufacture is blocked by QM status (MP01). When I try to save the PO I receive a warning message and I am not able to save the PO. No Issues till now.
The thing is, if I create a PO with the internal material and the vendor I am able to save it, and the MPN material never comes up. And I want to be blocked also in this escenario.
thanks in advance
SebasHi,
If you want that system should not allow user to create PO for the internal material and should only allow the MPN material then you can use Manufacturer's Part Profile in Internal material and MPN material and maintain Approved Manufacturer Part List (AMPL) in MP01.
You have to configure MPN Profile in SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Material Master > Define Manufacturer Part Profile
Here activate "MPN Mandatory" and rest all as per your requirement.
