I want to Know the Table and Field name where the Central Organizational Unit for Bidder is stored for a Supplier in SRM.

No Organizational Unit for Bidder on the 'Manage Business Partners Screen'
I replicated a vendor from R3 to SRM and there is no 'Organizational Unit for Bidder' listed. Because there is none, I cannot make any changes to the address of the Business Partner (Vendor) and there is no way to add the Organizational Unit for Bidder because it is all greyed out.
I also tried to fix it in the GUI bbmainint screen but it cannot be fixed there either.
Does anyone know how I can get that Org Unit for Bidder into the Vendor's Profile? I know what it should be, I just can't find a way to get it in there.

the 'Organizational Unit for Bidder' is not listed in the transaction. You need to know this code every time you create a contact / employee for a specific suppliers.
When you replicated vendors into SRM, the vendor records are assiged to a Org Unit. Depending on your SRM version (SRM 4.0 or SRM > 4.0), they are integrated into the Org Model. Enter exactly this root node for the supplier into the field 'Organizational Unit for Bidder'.
It is just about knowing where the information is - then it works

what does it mean? what data should be there?Hi,
First create the Vendor group through PPOCV_BBP . You can see this Vendor group through PPOSV_BBP . So here you can find out the ID with respect to Vendor group like VG 500* etc. so this is the Central Organizational Object for Bidder .

I am on SRM 7.01. I am trying to create a bidder manually in the SRM system. While creating the bidder, in the tab 'Company data' it requires to fill the value for central organization object mandatorily.
Where the central organization object for bidder is maintained?
I have filled up the field with value of the central root organization object for vendor group (maintained in PPOCV_BBP), the system is not accepting it.
Could you please let me know where it is maintained?

Determine the superior Org Unit for a given Organisation Unit.
Hi,
I am using the Sequential Access method of accessing the PCH Logical Database.
Is there any macro available to determine the superior Org Unit of the current Organisation Unit being looped at using the GET OBJEC statement.
I cannot access the STRUC internal table as I do not want to use structural access.
At the moment I am using the function module RH_ENTH_READ_STRUCTURE. Is this a good way of doing this or is there any PCH functionality for this?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I just was concerned if either way would cause a performance issue while i'm already in the GET OBJEC loop.
Anyway, for now I think I'll continue using the function module. I guess a direct SELECT on HRP1001 would require explicit authority check.
If someone else has a comment on this topic do post it in. I have time till next week to finalize on my approach.

Report to the employee list under an org unit for a specific PSA
Hello Experts,
Is there any standard report to see the list of employees belonging to a particular sub org unit under a particular personnel sub area?
For eg: There is a company X, and it has got 3 plants in blore, mumbai and chennai.
Blore , chennai amd mumbai represent the personnel sub area for the company X.
to see the list of employees working under operational sub org unit , under the org unit of company X in blore, is there any standard report in SAP??

By saying uploaded wrong organizational units, do you mean that organizational structure in PPOME is wrong or employee - position assignment is wrong?
If employee - position assignment is wrong then I suggest you to use batch input program or use LSMW as you have to change it via personnel action - PA40
If organizational structure is wrong, then do you have correct organizational structure in another system like test or qa?
If you have correct organizational structure then you can directly transport it from one system to other but if you don't then you first need to correct the organizational structure and then run LSMW or batch input.

Delimiting Position and Org unit for a deleted PERNR

We are facing this problem in Production. The PERNR was deleted , before deleting any relationships in OM. so when we try to delimit the Position we get an error: 'Personnel number xxxxxxxxx does not exist'. And we are not successfull in Delimit that Position. Please suggest the solution.
Your Help and inputs will be greatly Appreciated.Assign this position to other existing employee for temporarily from the same date for 100%. And Delimit the position before this date or delete it. If not possible use the Obsolete infotype to make it obsolete from here after.

I dont think you can associate a cost center with org unit, it is normally associated with position/person.
You can check table PA0001 to get the cost center and org unit for a personnel number.
Is this your requirement ?

Create description for org. unit in CATT

I'd like to mass create the descriptions of a organizational unit in PP01/PO10 with CATT.
But in CATT I just can't specify a parameter name for the text field of the descriptions.

But i have heard in EHP4 this option of Org. unit booking on WBT is possible but not directly but system will take care if you select an org unit for booking.

Course booking for org unit in LSO - ECC 6
Hi All,
can u pls share your inputs /solution
we are in the process of implementing LSO . The requirement right now is that we want to book courses for an Org unit. The idea is to book the courses directly to Org Unit so that all the employees have access to play the courses of their choice.
The problem is that when we go to (LSO_PV00 - Book: Participant for Course) & select a course the Org unit tab gets disappeared. The only options that we are left with is person, user, contact person, customer etc. except org unit.
Please let me know what we have to do so that we can assign courses to the Org unit directly & not to individual employees. Is there any other option of doing this.

Get the position of the employees for whom you are getting the error message and maintain infotype "Canada Groups for WCB" for those positions. This should solve your issue.

Text maintained for a Org Unit.
Hi,
In the transaction PPOMA_CRM which is to maintain Org Unit ,
for a specific Org Unit , in the Basic Data Tab u can find a text editor.
I need to get the text maintained in the text editor provided.
I have already got the text maintained using the func module
RHOM_READ_INFTY_BUFFERED.Now whats happening is
I maintained the text iniitaly in the text editor in the Basic Data tab as "hello".
Now I deleted the text " hello" and added a new Text "Hai".
But the func module is returning Hello and Hai ,infact i need only "Hai" which is the current text.
Kindly please check the same and help me.

I think you'll have to update the HR buffers after the change. Run report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE with SAP&EBP variant to achieve this (you can schedule a daily job too).
