Vendor Hierarchy  and purchase orders

Hi,
We have activated the vendor hierarchy and it's working in purchase order, but we want to control the same.  for Example, we have assigned  X  and Y as goods suppliers in Vendor Master of A in partner function.
and system shows the same when we create purchase order but we can skip it or change the name of goods supplier in purchase order which we don't want to do,
So pls help us how can we control the same,  we want in purchase order,  we can assign only a goods supplier which will be either X or Y not beyond that.
Pls advice.
Thanks
Sandeep

Go to IMG - Material management - Purchasing - Partner determination - Partner setting in Purchasing document - Define Partner schema..
Here make a partner schema with GS (Goods supplier) as No Change...
Then go to the next step i.e. Assign partner schema to Document type..
Here assign the schema created it the previous step to the document type u want (for eg. NB - standard PO... Assign the schema created)
This will not allow you to change supplier field in standard PO.

Mayank

  • Problem with services hierarchy and purchase order

Hi I'm in Srm 7 EHP8(classic scenario) and i have a problem with services hierarchies:
I create a Purchase requisition in ECC with the next structure:
    1.Hier
    1.1 Serv1
    1.2 Serv2
    1.3 Serv3
Then I upload this PR to SRM(I activated the BBP_EXTLOCALPO_BADI to change to the Extended-classic scenario to upload correctly the hierarchy)
and in the SOCO  I only choose the position 1.1 Serv1 and create a purchase order.
The problem is the purchase order created in ECC contain all the services of the purchase requisition, not only the service I choose(1.1 Serv1) to create the purchase order, in SRM the purchase order is correct with only one position(1.1 Serv1)
    Any Idea?.
    Thanks for the help.

  • Validate invoicing parties between invoice and purchase order

    Hello
I am trying to find a solution around how to validate invoicing party in invoice to invoicing party in purchase order.
i.e. PO vendor is 8700 and has invoing party as 8500 as a partner flowing through partner determination from vendor master, when i create invoice though MIRO or EDI, system should hard stop invoice if invoicing party is not 8500 (other than purchase order invoicing party)
i am trying to achive this through standard setting of partner detemination and setting M8-286/287 message as "E" in OMRM but system is not validating invocing parties and letting create invoice with any vendor.
Our system does not have BADI MRM_PARTNER_CHECK due to EHP is not latest.
This seems standard functionality to me but somehow not working through standard SAP settings.
has anyone came across such a requirement and have soultion ?

    Hi,
M8286 is triggered while you enter multiple PO's with different invoicing parties in MIRO. The system design is explained in the KBA:  1688253 - MIRO invoice is booked with different vendors from the Purchase Order . As of my knowledge, the same is not triggered if you change the invoicing party in MIRO header.
From EHP 4, M8 777 message can be used to control the vendor change in MIRO. If you are in lower version, either you may go for development or you may make the invoicing party field as "output only" using transaction variant in SHD0 (but I am not sure whether SHD0 will work for EDI).
If you are going for development, refer the note: 1156325 - BAdIs in the Logistics Invoice Verification environment

    Commitment
    Definition
Identifies costs that will be incurred in the future for materials and services that you have requested or ordered. Commitments reserve funds that will become costs at a future date.
    Use
On the account assignment objects, Commitments Management portrays the cost side of the procurement process for MM Purchasing. The costs incurred are assigned to business objects, such as orders, cost centers, or projects.
In Commitments Management, you can specify which object the costs are to be assigned to (for example, purchase order costs). In this case, this is known as an Initial Account Assignment.
Commitments Management distinguishes between three types of commitments, depending on the account assignment object:
    Order Commitment:
The commitment is initially assigned to an order.
    Cost Center Commitment:
The commitment is initially assigned to a cost center.
    Project Commitment:
The commitment is initially assigned to a project, or to a work breakdown structure element.

    Commitments occur
    In Purchasing, due to:
Purchase requisitions (purchase requisition commitment) define the internal requirement for a material or a service. Purchase requisitions have a control function and you change them at any time.
    Purchase orders (purchase order commitment):
Purchase orders are contractual requests to a vendor, to supply certain goods or services according to the agreed conditions. No short-term, unilateral changes can be made.
due to funds commitments (commitment for funds commitments):
    - You can use Funds Commitments to reserve funds for costs you are fairly certain to incur, but you cannot yet assign to a specific business transaction (such as, a purchase order or a purchase requisition).

  • Joining Requisition and Purchase Orders

Hi I need to join requisitions and purchase orders.
I know that the PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL has the REQ_DISTRIBUTION_ID column which joins with PO_REQ_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL column DISTRIBUTION_ID. But the REQ_DISTRIBUTION_ID is not null only in the first distribution line. In all other lines it is null. In this scenario only one shipment line( the first line ) is joined with requisitions. How can I join all the lines of the PO to the requisition ?
I will explain the exact scenario below:
A single line requisition which is auto-created into a Purchase order having one line and three shipment lines. Each shipment line has 1 distribution. Therefore there are 3 distribution lines.
However the distribution line which corresponds to the first shipment line has REQ_DISTRIBUTION_ID populated for the other 2 distribution lines it is NULL. In this case how can I join all the lines of the PO to the requisition ?

First Set the Message 076 into error..at
Go to SPRO - MM - Purchaisng -Environment -Define Attributes for System Messages
Then Go to ME21N trxn and there is a Purchase Requisition field at Item Level..( You can see at the Right side )
Enter the PR Number and Item No and Press Enter..
the PR data will be copied to PO & Select Vendor & SAVE the PO

ex:i have one item like ffp001 it is showing 100 order quantity.but i want only open purchase quantity.i checked (item master data-->righ click--->Avail to promise) its showing open production and purchase quantity.so i need only open purchase quantity.
Plz tell me the process of Bifurcation of open orders.
    thanks&Regards,

    Hi,
By default there is no option , as a workaround you can use below method,
Create 2 warehouse , for example Purchase , Production
When ever you create purchase order use "Purchase" warehouse, Use production warehouse in production
In the "Available to Promise" Report you have warehouse filter option.
Using this filter you achieve can achieve your requirement.
    OR
    Right click "Filter Table"
    Document -> Start with-> PO
Now you can see only PO

  • Standard program for unbilled  sales orders and purchase order items

Can anyone advice,  is there any standard program which gives the unbilled sales order and purchase order items.

    Hi,
Use the T.Code VA05/VA05n for list of all the sales order s which are open.
    Take T.Code:VA05N
Select the option "Open Sales Orders".
    Execute.
It will give you all the orders which are open.
The standard program for this is:"SD_SALES_ORDERS_VIEW".
The same you can also get by using the T.Code VF04.
In this if your scenario is "Order related",then select the option "Order related".
Else if it is "Delivery related",then select "Delivery-related".
    Execute.
The standatd program for this is:"SDBILLDL".
T.Code:VF05/VF05n is for list of billing documents.

  • Report with purchase requisitions and purchase orders: how?

    Hi,
I need to get a list of items bought with their purchase requisitions and purchase orders (when they exist). This can be done looking at each purchase order (ME23N), ou purchase requisition (ME53N), and writing it down. But in some cases, I have to do it on about 450 operations. I'd like to get this list without having to search for each requisition ou order. I can get a complete list of orders and requisitions, but without any relationship between them (they are mixed as if they were the same thing, but there´s a field telling it that row is an order or a requisition). Using some macros in excel, I can find this relationship in 40% of the cases (for example, if item 421351 was purchased only once, an order for item 421351 is related to a requisition for item 421351). Is there any way to get this list automatically? Or is there any field that tell me this relationship?

Sorry, I forgot to tell this: I don´t have access to SQ01/SQ02/SQ03.
I get the orders and requisition reports using ZGLPS020.

  • Transaction code for sales order totals and purchase order totals

Hi i am using alv grid report to display the sales order and purchase order totals by productline(profit center)
Now i have to call standard transactions from first list to display the totals of sales order and purchase order.I have to display these transctions for specfic orders and their specfic lineitems only.
in VA05n transaction it is allowing me to enter only the document numer but not item.
Can any one help to find the standard transaction to display the totals for only specific orders and line specific line items

    Hi Polite,
The transaction CRMD_ORDER is the superset for all the transactions mentioned by you. So it is better to remember just one transaction instead of remembring the subsets . Once you use the transaction CRMD_ORDER and then Follow the menu Business transaction -> Create (F5) you will get the list of transactions you can create this is nothing but the the transactions you have mentioned.
If you know the transaction no. you can directly open that in transaction CRMD_ORDER. The other opetion is to use the SAP Menu instead of transactions.
    <b>Reward points if it helps!!</b>
    Best regards,
    Vikash.

  • Linking document info record and purchase order

    Hi all,
I hope that someone can help me because I'm having a problem with creating links between document info records and purchase orders.
By default in SAP I can create links between document info record and purchase order ITEMS! When I create that link, I can see it in document info record under Object links tab, but when I double click on the number of purchase order nothing happens (I expected that this purchase order will open).
    Why is that so?
Why can't I access purchase order from document info record even though the link exists?
The other question is about creating object links to purchase orders, not purchase order items! Is it possible to link document info record with purchase order?
I would appreciate quick answer because we're in the middle of a project and we're stuck with that problem.
    Thanks!

    Hi Karlo,
As you mentioned, object links could be linked to Purchase order items. In customisation you maintain these entries under the node SPRO > Cross Application Components> Document Management--> Control Data --> Define Document Types --> Define Object Links.
There are many links in the standard system (possible entries).
The system automatically determines the screen number (dialog box) where the key data for the object is maintained for document maintenance.
You can check the screens when the screen entry is missing or contains errors by doing the following:
Start the Object Navigator and display the objects for the development class  CV.
Expand the function group 130. The structure nodescreens lista all screens that can be used for object links.
You can make an object link to SAP objects that are not shown in the possible entries list. To do this, proceed as follows:
In the standard system, there are already two special screens for the module pools SAPLCV130 and SAPLCV140 for the linked SAP object.
You must create two new screens with the same number for the module pools SAPLCV130 and SAPLCV140 .
The processing logic must follow that of screen 1204 in program SAPLVC130.
Create function module OBJECT_CHECK_XXXX (XXXX = object name)
If the object can be classified, this function module already exists .
Otherwise copy the function module for linking equipment DOCUMENT_CHECK_EQUI and change it as required for the new object.
Hope the above instruction helps in solving your problem,
    Sojan

  • How to map values between Contract and Purchase Order...

    Hi friends,
We are using SRM 5.0 (ECS). I am facing a problem with Purchase Order.
. I am creating Contract locally through Live Auction. After that I am creating Purchase Order through Live Auction. So in Purchase Order Quantity, Net Price, Gross Price, and Long Text etc. not coming which is defined in Contract.  PO capturing the values from Live Auction, means no relation between the Contract and Purchase Order. After making Contract again I have to changes in the Purchase Order.
So how to map the values from Contract to PO in SRM?  I want to map between contract and Purchase Order like R/3. At the time of creation of PO ( in R/3 )  we can adopt the Contract so all the relevant values comes from Contract to PO. In SRM how will I do?
    Please suggest me.

When you create PO and a contract from a Live Auciton, they will not be mapped.
While creating a PO (BBP_POC - Process Purchase Order); in the PO line item assign the contract and item reference. Only then they will be linked.
    Hope this helps.
