Is there any practice how to update vendor changes from ERP to CRM 5.0?
(Business object: VENDOR_MAIN.)

Anzett,
There is no standard BDOC object that does ECC to CRM delta replication. Honestly I don't know why this wasn't provided as we built a custom BDOC to handle this on CRM 40.
The other programs you mentioned, probably will have to be "copied" and modified to suit your needs. However honestly they personally don't work that great and are slower than dirt due to the reading the change document tables on the ERP side.

Hello Experts,
we are planing to download customer master data from R/3 to CRM. It will be a completely one sided connectivity and we dont want to upload anything from CRM to R/3. And we are planing for Initial load as well as Delta load from only R/3 to CRM. How can I set this?
And the delta down load, we want to perform automatically once in day at a specified time..so is it possible?if yes how?

If You are using the Administration Console to deassign a site from a subscription or a subscription from a site, or to delete a subscription.
The type of the related publication is simple intelligent (sync), simple intelligent (msg) or simple bulk (msg). As a consequence, changes (insert, update, delete) of a BDoc instance are sent to a site only if the site has been assigned the corresponding subscription. The assignment or deassignment of such subscriptions will not trigger a synchronization of the site database.
Example:
Your site Back-End is of sitetype R/3. It has been assigned a subscription for a BDoc type. The type of the publication is simple bulk (msg). The creation of a business object (for example, business partner) with identifier 111111 ensures that this business object will be sent to site Back-End.
After deassigning the subscription in the Administration Console all changes in business object 111111 will not be sent to the site Back-End. In addition, a newly created business object with identifier 222222 will also not be sent to site Back-End.
As you reassign the subscription, the following inconsistencies occur:
Business object 111111 has not been synchronized in the R/3 back-end.
Business object 222222 is not available in the R/3 back-end.
And for scheduling background job for delta replication from R/3 to CRM, i am not sure about it.

Delta Replication for Customizing object from ECC- CRM

I need help on delta replication activate for customizing objects from ECC to CRM. I finished with initial load with product replication and everything worked weel. The problem is that product hierarchy continuely changing in ECC everyday, so the delta for the products error out due to incorrect product heirarchy in CRM becuase the delta is not working for DNL_CUST_PROD0, and DNL_CUST_PROD1. Please show me how to activate the delta for those DNL. What business transaction do I need for those so the delta will work for them too? Rewards points if helpful

I think you need to do Request downlaod for the Product Hirearchy when ever there is new one created in ECC.You can do request downlaod by creating the object using R3AR2. Exeute the object though R3AR4 and monitor the status using R3AR3.

Error when trying to replicate the Catalog( Delta Replication)

Dear All,
We are getting a problem after upgrade of Trex.
We have CRM 5.0 on SP8 along with ISA & TREX 7.0.
We upgraded TREX 7.0 from SP05 to SP30.
After upgrading the TREX to SP30, the developers are getting a dump
when they try to do
replicate the catalog (delta replication).
1. When they go to Catalog Maintainance.
2. Select a catalog.
3. Then after maintainance,they choose menu -- > goto --> Replication --> Delta Replication.
4. They get a dump here, Raise Exception(attached).
5. Even when they tried to select Catalog again --> Start Replication --> they are getting the same dump.
Please help us in getting this issue resolved.

Initial replication will replicate the full catalog
Delta replication - The replication will be based on teh change pointer that have been updated, so only the items that have been changed since the last initial replication will be replicated. This should result in a quicker replication time.

Delta replication of Sales Org, Sales Off and Sales Group (ECC to CRM)

I am struck with the delta of the Sales Area.
Sales org with 6 Sales Offices and 6 Sales Group were created in the ERP and all this were replicated in to CRM in Initial but now my client wants to add 3 more sales offices with 3 Sales Groups.
Sales Offices and sales group were maintained in the ERP system and i have created the Sales Offices in CRM but the problem is those sales offices and Sales groups were not reflecting in CRM.
Newly added Sales Offices and Sales Groups were not replicated in CRM?
I was trying to assign the ERP Sales Org,Offices, Sales Group with CRM Sales Org, Office, Sales Group in "Assign SAP CRM Sales Org. to SAP ECC Sales Org.""Assign SAP CRM Sales Offices to SAP ECC Sales Offices" , "Assign SAP CRM Sales Group to SAP ECC Sales Group" but i can not view the ERP Sales groups.
So what should i do inorder to replicate the newly added Sales off. and Sales Groups in CRM which were created in ERP?

Hello Arun,
You have already created 3 Sales Offices & 3 Sales Group in SAP ECC Enterprise Strurcture.Now you require these new sales offices & sales groups into CRM System.
For that you use Transaction CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE. Here in this transaction you can see your newly created sales offices & sales groups. You have to select these rows & click on "Generate Selected Lines".
Once you have done with this you can see new rows added with New Organization units for each unique sales Office & sales groups.After this dont forget to SAVE.
Now You can assign the ERP Sales Offices & Sales Groups to CRM Sales Office & CRM Sales Group.

Error in prod category delta replication

Hi, I'm using EBP 3.5 and when I created a new site with the SMOEAC in order to replicate the product categories, the system ask me for user/password in the R/3 backend system. I completed this information but when I try to start the replication with the R3AS, the EBP system ask me again for user/password and the queue has a SYSFAIL error: "It isn't possible enter the system with password; too many...." (the log text is truncated)
I checked the R/3 connection with SM59 and it is ok. In other landscape and systems I had a normal behavior.
Could you help me please?

RFC user should have SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profiles.
It should not be locked. Both the SRM and R/3 systems have same RFC userid/password and should not be in locked state in the system.

CRM 7.0 Leading zeros on material in sales documents delta replication

Hi
During initial load of sales documents from ECC to CRM the item is replicated with leading zeros.
The consequences is that CRM do not find the product and the crm order gets an error message that the product is not maintianed in product master.
So my question is; how to replicate the order without leading zeros for items?

Hello Johan,
You need to check txn:OMSL in ERP and you need to make sure that settings are in sync with CRM customizing path settings.
SPRO>IMG>Cross-Applicaiton Component>SAP Product>Basic Settings-->Define O/P Format..
Especially you need to check for the lexicographical flag.
If this flag is set, then 0123 is different from 123.

Product delta replication

Hi,
in the course CR100 (chapter 4) is written that products created in CRM are not automatically replicated to ERP. Someone knows why? It works automaticallty for business partners in our system so why not for products

Delta replication for equipments - CRM 5.0

Has anyone successfully replicated equipments to iObjects on a permanent basis (i.e. after initial download)? I've made the config setting in the IMG but it still doesn't work.

Deploy the business package using SDM . Run the remotegui.bat or remotegui.sh to start SDM from the path
Drive:usrsap<SID>JCXXSDMprogram . This will open the SDM . You can than deploy by first adding the SCA and choosing deploy. The navigation on the SDM screen is self explanatory.

Delta sales order replication, per change to billing block, how?

Issue: We want a change to sales order billing block field to trigger creation of a sales order delta replication IDoc, but having trouble getting that to work.
We added entry to table TBD62, for table VBAK, field FAKSK (billing block field), so change pointer would be created.
We have variant for delta replication set up on program ODTF_REPL_CO_SALESORDER_ITM.
A change to billing block field creates entry in table BDCP2, so change pointers are getting created successfully.
But running program RBDMIDOC for message type ODTF_COBJ_SALES_ORDER_ITEM, which should create the delta IDoc via the delta variant on program ODTF_REPL_CO_SALESORDER_ITM, does not create an IDoc.
If I change a partner on sales order, such as revenue manager or engagement manager, and then run RBDMIDOC for message type ODTF_COBJ_SALES_ORDER_ITEM, then the IDoc gets created.
So need help on how to set up so a change to billing block field, field VBAK-FAKSK, will trigger creation of sales order delta replication IDoc. There seems to be more to it than just having change pointers get created in table BDCP2.

I found out why IDoc not getting created for change to billing block on sales order.
SAP program ODTF_COBJ_SALES_ORDER_ITEM needs a fix.
Sales Order replication program ODTF_REPL_CO_SALESORDER_ITM has this piece of code:
    LOOP AT cp_so_it.
      ls_vbpos = cp_so_it-low.
      IF ls_vbpos-posnr IS INITIAL.
        APPEND ls_vbpos TO lt_vbeln.
      ELSE.
        APPEND ls_vbpos TO lt_vbpos.
      ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.
For changes to table vbpa, for example, since vbpa key has posnr, ls_vbpos-posnr will have a value, and this code works.
But for changes to vbak, which doesn't have posnr in table key, ls_vbpos-posnr here is blank, not initial, and this code doesn't work.
eg. CDPOS-TABKEY/BDCP2-TABKEY for vbpa change might be something like "1300040000560000000RM", but for vbak something like "1300040000560".
This data feeds this IF statement above, which fails for changes to vbak data in triggering IDoc replication correctly.
ODTF_REPL_CO_SALESORDER_ITM should be modified to handle vbak change pointer data without the posnr field.

Issue in Material Master data replication in SRM 7.13

Hi All,
We have implemented SRM 7.13 and facing an issue in material mater data delta replication.When we create a new material in ECC it does not get replicated to SRM and gives the ERROR 'Specify the relevant unit of length' and 'Validation error occurred: Module COM_PRODUCT_MAT_VALIDATE, BDoc type PRODUCT_MAT.' in SMW01.
But when changes are done to the same material in ECC it gets repicated without any issues.
Please provide your help to reolve this issue.

Check your settings in CUNI transaction which UOM is this happening for or for all ?
You should go to that and check what are the conversion values maintained As seen below
In CUNI transaction go to utlilties > Adjustment select your R/3 system and click on Check mark
Also replicate the UOM from backend . By going to R3AS and fill DNL_CUST_BASIS3 and execute
Lastly go to Table T006 and T006A and click on Check table ...
Doing this would sync your UOM with that of ECC and ideally the error should vanish if not

Employee Delta data xchange between CRM and HR system-ALE

Hi SDN team,
We have integrated SAP R/3 HR 4.6c with SAP CRM 5.2 using ALE integration layer .
Background : We have downloaded few Employees and Positions from SAP HR system into SAP CRM system using ALE . We observe that the delta changes made the Employees data in SAP HR is flowing into SAP CRM system after running the Report RBDMIDOC ( with message type HRMD_ABA) .
Problem
After the Employees are downloaded from SAP HR into CRM system , we want to make some small changes like address , Gender , etc to the BP data . We observe that the delta changes made in CRM do not flow back to SAP HR system .
What is the reason ? Is there workaround for the backward delta replication to work ?

Delta Down Load for Materials- R/3 to CRM

Hi CRM Gurus
I have set up MW to do intial load for material masters and have been able to download products after maintaining all pre-reqs (config etc)...
Now I want to turn on delta download from R/3 to CRM for materials...I have tried CRM request R3AR2, R3AR4 to set up the request and also execute the request...
In the montitor tcode, it says its complete but if I execute the SMW01, I do not see any incomming Bdocs for R/3 materials...I have checked SMQ1 and SMQ2 and do not see any entries there either..
On the same note, if I re-run the intial load, my new material numbers appear in CRM..
Please adivse on what might be wrong with delta replication...

Hi Jai,
First thing is that you do not need to do any extra settings for the delta load, the momenet you initiate the initial load R/3 maintains the event in table TBE31 for that perticular object and delta automatecally gets activated. So to get the new material in CRM you need not run the request load rather it should come automatically. If not the you should have some stuck queue in CRM inbound with the queue name R3AD*. Also you should get the corresponding BDocs in SMW01.
If this is not the case then explain exactly what is happening in your system. Do you have any filter for the object MATERIAL?

HR Replication - only part of org structure needed in SRM - excess IDOC's

Dear peers,
we are running HR-ALE to replicate HR master data from a separate HR system (ECC 6) into the ERP system (ECC 6, with SRM as add-on).
Only a part of the organizational structure is needed in SRM, this O-unit is specified in PFAL for initial replication. Delta replication is setup through change pointers - as recommended by SAP.
Unfortunately change pointers are generated for the complete org structure, not just for the org part we are replicating into SRM. This results in a lot of IDOC's that go into error because of missing and irrelevant data.
What can we do to avoid generating IDOC's that are not needed?
> continue with the change pointers, and filter out non-relevant data via user exit on outbound side
> switch off change pointers, and schedule PFAL in update mode instead
> perhaps the root org structure can be specified in the ALE distribution model filter as well so IDOC's generated from change pointers take this into account

In our project SAP is the single point of truth. So we are not stopping any replication pertaining to postion and organization unit in SRM as well as CRM from SAP.
Having said that user is assgined to postion and user has role. As a results if any user doesn't have any role related to SRM and CRM , user will not be replicated. In that case those user deosn't have any authorization to access the SRM systems though their postion and organization unit may be avaialble in SRM.
otherwise : switch off change pointers, and schedule PFAL in update mode instead
This will be simplest methods
