Vendor master "fixed-line telephone" and "standard fixed-line telephone"

Hi,
Can any one pls explain what is the difference between
1) The telephone number is a fixed-line telephone and
2) The telephone number is the standard fixed-line telephone
Vendor master record
I am not able to find both the fields.

As found...
This field indicates whether the phone number entered is a mobile phone number or standard phone.
Indicator: Telephone is a Mobile Telephone
This field specifies whether the telephone number is a mobile telephone number.
Input values
' ' : The telephone number is a fixed-line telephone
'1' : The telephone number is the standard fixed-line telephone
'2' : The telephone nubmer is a mobile telephone
'3' : The telephone number is the standard mobile telephone
Dependencies
Either the standard fixed-line telephone number or the standard mobile telephone number is also the standard telephone number .
In older data sets, this field may have also have the value ' ' for the standard fixed-line telephone.
Effects on Customizing
In Customizing, you can specify whether the SMS-compatible indicator is to be proposed for new mobile telephone numbers created in dialog by choosing General Settings -> Set countries -> Define Mobile Telephone Attributes for each country.
Preferred Telephone Type
For many SAP applications, you have to mark one telephone number as the standard telephone number. This can be either the standard fixed-line number or the standard mobile telephone number. This field indicates which of these numbers takes precedence.
Example
When you call a business partner, this field is used to determine whether the standard fixed-line telephone number or the standard mobile telephone number is used.
Use
Choose the value 'Telephone' if the standard fixed-line telephone number is to be the standard telephone number and 'Mobile Telephone' if the standard mobile telephone number is to be the standard telephone number.

    The reason being, each line item can have more than one schedule line. If the line item has only one schedule line, the block at item level or SchLine level gives the same result. If the line item has two schedule lines, and if you want to block only specific delivery(one among the two schedule lines) the block at item level blocks both the deliveries and if you use delivery block at schedule line level, you can block only the required scheduled delivery.

  • Additional Field in Vendor Master for PF Number and ESI Number

    Hi Experts,
    I have to maintain ESI Number and PF Number in Vendor Master, but no such field is available in vendor master or J1ID. Kindly suggest me the fields which I can use. We have to capture the ESI and PF Number of the vendor in case He is a subcontractor to us.

    You can looks for customer fields (ABAP developed fields). You have standard development available in SAP. See the below config path. It will help you and your abaper
    spro>logistics General->bussiness partner->vendors->control--->adoption of customer's own master data fields.
    With the help of help text available there you and your abaper can develop it with flow logic easily with minimum effort.

  • Vendor Master replication from EBP and MM to SUS

    We would be replicating Vendors from R/3 as well as from EBP to SUS. I believe that there is certain configuration to check duplication of Vendors and also to assign a single business partner ID even if a Vendor is replicated both from EBP as well as from MM. Can anyone thro some light on this & the procedure...

    For the Vedor Maste replication from EBP and MM to SUS,
    U need to maintain the proper RFC conncection between R/3, EBP SUS and XI as a middleware.
    U can transfer the Vendor by using the T.Code -  BBPGETVD.
    U can transfer vendor to SUS using
    transaction BD14 with message type Z_CREMAS_SUSMM as
    SAP suggested.
    Your error due to incorrect mapping in Integration
    Directory of XI.Kindly check the Interface
    determination for message type Z_CREMAS_SUSMM.

  • Vendor Master:  Name, Street Address and PO Address

    Hello SAP Gurus-
    I am working on a Vendor Master cleanup hopefully to streamline our Vendor Master Data.  We have data in all fields of the vendor master for address and in effort to decide on what to do with the SAPScript for checks, we would like to know what we have in what fields. 
    Is there a table I can use that shows all the fields with values for all Vendors?  LFA1 is not showing street address or PO Box Address.  I found S_ALR_87012086 but that doesn't show all fields either.

    Well, perhaps your installation is doing things a little differently, but I use ADRC for most stuff, except for email address...There are POBox specific fields, such as city, zip, etc., in ADRC.  Occasionally, I've used ADR2, 3 and 6; somewhat rarely, though, except for email retrievals.  But, no, there's not a single table, everything in one, for SAP business partners. 
    Perhaps there's a BAPI or Function Module that would be helpful to you, like BBP_VENDOR_GET_DATA2 or BAPI_VENDOR_GETDETAIL.

  • Reconfigure sales BOM deletes line item and creates new line item

    We are having issue with Sales BOM. Once sales BOM is reconfigure, line item is automatically deleted and creates new line item. These changes are not captured by reporting tool. Is it standard SAP behavior? if its not standard behavior, how to fix this issue?

    If i am not wrong, i assume you are using site instead of plant.   If it is plant , then "yes", we can have a order with same material being line item 10 and 20 with different plants.  Reg delivery, if the plants are configured to a same shipping point then you will have one delievery.  if the plants are configured for a different shipping point , then delivery will be split up.

  • Error while editing PO - deleting service line item and creating material line item.

    In SAP SRM Extended classic scenario, PO is in 'ordered' status and contains a service line item. While editing this PO, I delete the service line item and create a new material line item. This gives me the following error.
    Back end error: Enter G/L account
    Back end error: LIne item still contains faulty items.
    This happens only with service- material comibination and no other combination(material-service, service-service, material-material).
    I need to know the reason for this issue and how it can be solved?

    PO Values (Inc Tax):
    Item 1: INR 228 L
    Item 2: INR 27.83 L   (Payment also done in 2008)
    GR for Item 1: INR 207.46 L
    Remaining Comm = INR 21.01 L
    Item 1 having 73 sub line items.... fo some of the sub-line items GR for some qty already done in last fiscals.
    User changing for remaining qty.
    Budget Report values:
    Previous Years:  Budget, Actual & Assigned = 304.85 L
                                Available = 0      (Carry Forward done for Budget & Commitments)
    2011:                   Budget = 75.15 L
                                Actual = 53.86 L
                                Comm = 21.01 L   (Same as Remaining Commitment)
                                Avai = 0.28 L

    There is an AR Invoic with 2 lines and SO with 2 lines. The line numbers on the Invoice and SO are not in Sync. SO line No 2 is Invoice line No1 and SO line No1 is Invoice Line No2. What determines the Invoice line numbering?

    Goto the T.Code "VOV7".
    Select your item category.
    Details.
    Maintain the Completion rule as "A(Item is completed with the first reference)".
    Save.
    If you do this after the follow on document is created,the item is completed and you cannot reject the item.
    For your second question,
    Goto the T.Code "VTLA".
    Select your valid combination.
    Click on item.Select your item category.Details.
    There is a check box called as "Update document flow".Tick that one.
    Save.

  • How to update PO Price only for a single line item and not other Line Item

    My requirement is not to update Price of PO from PIR if the Final Invoice Indiactor is not set and it is not a return PO. I am trying to do this using
    BAPI_PO_CHANGE to update price automatically from Pricing record using
    POITEM-PO_ITEM = '00001'
    POITEM-CALCTYPE = 'B'.
    POITEMX-PO_ITEM = '00001'
    POITEMX-CALCTYPE = 'X'.
    The price gets updated for the line item 1 as well as other line item which I do not want. Please can you tell how to restrict that.
    Is it possible to restrict through configuration if this indicator is set there should be no price update. I tried to check in ME22n and if I update the condition item by pressing the update button the other item price also gets updated.

    Timestamp is date and time together in one field..
    Search for data element TIMESTAMP.
    If you are getting this in your table.
    If you are getting time and date in different fields then you can use the function module
    given below....
    CALL FUNCTION 'DELTA_TIME_DAY_HOUR'
      EXPORTING
        t1            =
        t2            =
        d1            =
        d2            =
    IMPORTING
       MINUTES       =
    Then you can convert minutes into seconds..
    Function module credit to BrightSide it works....but only it will give difference in minutes

    For VC implementation,We are Creating a quotation with Dummy Material,and after Creating Material Masters we have to update the Newly created material back in Quotation for same quotation number and after this the dummy material i.e the previous line item should be rejected with reason as a duplicate(reason code 23)..
    So Pls help me in Rejecting the line item of quotation.how this is done.

    Hi,
    The requirement is also to Update the Quotation with the newly created material.
    So we need a Bapi or a function module which does 2 things:
    1. Reject the previous Line item with a reason code.
    2. Update the Quoation with the new material and insert a a new line item.

    There are four main deiffences (unfortunately don't have a reference link).
    L3 Interfaces:
    TR: 8k/LC, SE: 20k/LC
    L2 Interfaces:
    TR: 16k/LC, SE: 64k/LC
    QoS:
    TR: only 8 Queues per port, 8k policers per Network Processor
    SE: 256k Queues per port, 256k policers per NP
    ACL:
    TR: 24k ACE
    SE: 96k ACE
    Number of FIB/mFIB/MAC etries, L3 VRFs, PWs available per TR/SE linecard are the same.

    i donu2019t think u can map FI <-> SD line Items , as per my knowledge ,while create FI entry system will do consolidation based on the materials , so in such cases u wont get required data.

    I need to create a Flat file without column headers, no comma separated values but each column will have a fixed starting position and a fixed length in the text file. For example, below is the text file to be created with six columns

    Fixed starting position and a fixed lenth values for these columns as are below;

    BOL says that:
    The Fixed width with row delimiters option is not available in the Flat File Connection Manager Editor.
    If necessary, you can emulate this option in the editor. To emulate this option, on the General page of the Flat File Connection Manager
    Editor, for Format, select Ragged right. Then on the Advanced page
    of the editor, add a new dummy column as the final column of data.
