Vendor Name not appearing in NWDS

Hi,
We have successfully installed and made necessary post-installation steps, configurations in our NWDI system. Product, software unit, Software component were created in the SLD and Name Prefixes were also defined. I have also created users for developers in NWDI and SLD, and assigned them with role NWDI.Developer. But when the developers login they could successfully login with an error message login failed and import configuration. when we import this configuration into Developers NWDS and try to create a new DC only sap.com vendor appears and no other vendor is displayed.
What could be the issue and where i have lost? Kindly suggest on this

Hi Anand,
1.Click on Home link to enter SLD Home. Click on Technical Landscape link under Landscape.
2.Select Web AS Java and click on New Technical Landscape button.
3.Technical System Wizard will appear. Select Web AS Java and click on Next button
4.Enter the following configuration for Technical System and click on Finish.
5.Web AS ABAP: None (Standalone J2EE)
System Name (SID): J2E
System Home: <Machine Name>
6.Choose System Landscape Directory as the Technical System Type and click on New Technical System.
7. Select System Landscape Directory as the Technical System Type and click on Next.
8. Enter the following configuration for Technical System and click on Finish.
Web AS Java: <instance name> on <machine name>
Roles: Landscape Server & Name Server both selected.
CIM Server URL: http://<Machine Name>:<port>/sld/cimom
Object Server: <Machine Name>
after that go sld home page
--> select name Reservation
Choose Define Namespace Prefix
Define following prefix:
Name Category = Development Component Name
Namespace Prefix = example.org/tech
Purpose = Used By Developer (default)
Owner = <user currently logged in>
Description = can be empty
Choose button create.
Define second prefix:
Name Category = Development Component Name
Namespace Prefix = example.org/appl
Purpose = Used By Developer (default)
Owner = <user currently logged in>
Description = can be empty
Choose button create.
After this Go devinf page and select systemLandscape and select the updateCMS page.
Now go to the IDE and check that Sap name server appear on the IDE.
Now its has been solved 100%.

Vendor name not displayed in RFIDESM340

Hello,
I have a problem with RFIDESM340 program.
When "Reference" field has 15 characters then, the name of the vendor is not displayed in the report.
If I change "Reference" field and enter 1 more character or delete 1 character, then the name appears correctly
Which could be the problem?

Vendor name not showing correctly in TDS GL line item display fbl3n

Hi Gurus,
I am facing an issue in regards to TDS. As you know that normally we make a cheque payment to a vendor, we issue one cheque for one vendor.
But my client follows a slightly different practice. Suppose they have to pay an amount of 30000 to three vendor A B C equally 10000 each. They right a self cheque to the SBI bank and also send them the list of these 3 vendors who are also having their account in the same bank. They instruct the bank to take money from their account and then credit in the respective vendors account.
Now the transaction goes like this:
Vendor A   10000
Vendor B    10000
Vendor C   10000
    To Bank                 29700
    To TDS on A              100
    To TDS on B              100
    To TDS on C              100
Now when the user will go to FBL3N and check the TDS GL 100020196 and see the line items it should show like as per the client:
Vendor A       100
Vendor B       100
Vendor C       100
But it shows the below result:
Vendor A   100
Vendor A   100   ( should be vendor B)
Vendor A   100   (should be vendor C)
I believe that is the standard behavior of the system to show the vendor line. They do not want to change the way of their posting and their concern is if it shows like the same at the time of return filing how will know vendor wise tds.
Now either I need to resolve this situation in FBL3N or give them a report which should give them Vendor wise TDS information for the TDS filing.
J1INMIS report is there but it shows only the TDS and the vendor number, it does not give the vendor name. I either want a solution of this issue in FBL3N or a report which shows vendor wise TDS with vendor number and name. Please let me know if there is a solution to this issue.
Kindly consider this very urgent. I am attaching the relevant screenshots.

Unfortunately there is no report in SAP other than J1INMIS which caters to Indian reporting requirements. You can think of enhancing the same.
Also check your enhancement for FBL3N as to why it is not working as it should with the help of your ABAP Colleagues. It is not displaying the name correctly.

Vendor address not appearing in PO

Hi All,
For particular vendor address is not appearing in PO preview and printout.
Partner function (VN,OA,PI & CR) also maintained in vendor master against this vendor code.
Also checked the SPRO(partner determination) settings ,found everything is maintained correctly.
I anaysed, if you put manually the vendor code and particular purchase organisation in PO and hit enter, maintained partner functions are appearing in partners tab in PO.
When vendor code and purchase organisation are automatically picked up from purchase requisition, partner functions are not appearing in partners tab in PO. (default only VN is appearing.Other functions OA,PI & CR are not appearing)
I did not understand,why these functions are not coming.
*The same vendor code with other purchase organisation is working correctly.
Kindly help me on this issue.

Full qualified host name not appearing in url within WSDL generated from PI

We are on PI711 ( AIX OS ) and are stuck with an issue of the fully qualifed hostname not appearing within WSDL file generated in PI71 for a webservice it exposes using the Integration builder
We changed the host name in exchange profile ( all locations ) from hostname to hostname.companyname.intra and also in the ABAP stack as recommended in all OSS notes.
We use the Integration Directory --> Sender Agreement --> Display WSDL option to generate the WSDL.
Its to be noted that all locations ( including url for WSDL ) have the fully qualified hostname except the url within the WSDL.
Dioes anyone come across this issue/ know which parameters to be updated on the PI server to make the url within the WSDL for the PI webservice to have the fully qualified host name ?

As Mentioned by Baskar donu2019t use proposed URL .. while creating WSDL in Id.. but instead provide URL in following format and use it in that place and create WSDL.. details about URL format..
the URL format is fix. and it is simple.
http://host:HTTPPort/XISOAPAdapter/MessagingServlet?channel=party:sendersystem:CC_sender
in above URL provide your sender service component name instead of sender system.
and provide SOAP sender communication channel name in place of CC_sender
provide your PI system host and http name in place of host and https and use this..

(Continuity) Caller Id name not appearing in mac

Hi every body
I face problem with some calls, the Caller Id name sometimes not appearing in incoming call for mac (Continuity) only numbers.
Please note that all the calls i get it has name in my contacts and it's already in iPhone and mac contacts app.
Any ideas how to fix it.

I found that we have Avaya Definity System with S8700 & found configuration documentation :

What I found that Avaya side is configured for Qsig ; Basic Supplementary Services is not enabled (System Parameter & Customer options) .
I also found this document ( http://www.svcc.cc.il.us/UserMenu/employees/telephone/images/buttons.pdf Page 362) about Supplementary Service protocol value which most likely change which Qsig Avaya side use.

Event name not appearing in calendar

We currently have Novell Groupwise 8 as our email system and we are syncing with the iPad by using the Microsoft Exchange, when creating a new event, the event name does not appear on the calendar?? Event names for previously created events are showing but not a newly created event. On the calendar, the start time of the event shows but not the event name, it appears as a "New Event" not what has been listed in the subject line when the event is created. It is not consistent and I can't figure out what is causing the problem...

this is even weirder - when I backed out of the forum page and re-entered the discussion via the pulldown menu on the left hand side of the support homepage (iCal/then discussion forums link next to the iCal icon), the post message link appears. Coming into the discussions via the support link on the apple homepage, then discussions link under the Mac graphic, doesn't allow me to post....

Artist name not appearing in list

I received a new Ipod Classic 160GB for Christmas. I have transferred some CD's to it and some of the names of the artists are not appearing in the list of names. The albums are there - is there any way to get these to display? Thanks!

... and as well as the helpful answers provided by planb77 and Jeff there is another little trick you could try.
Remove the Compilations heading from the *Main Menu* of your iPod. This will then cause all the artists who only appear on compilation albums to appear on the iPod/music/Artists* list.
To remove the Compilations heading, go to *Settings/Main Menu* and make sure Compilations does not have a tick next to it.

When I insert a dynamic stamp, such as reviewed,approved etc, into a pdf my name does not appear as the reviewer/approver.
I am using Adobe pro9 and Windows 7.

Is your copy of Acrobat up to date with version updates?
The current version is 9.5.1.
Have you turned off JavaScript in Acrobat?
Did you create the dynamic stamp?
Have you completed "Identity" category in Acrobat's Preferences?
Do the Dynamic stamps supplied by Adobe work?
What is the code you are using to insert your name?
The code supplied by Adobe for their Dynamic stamps:

Vendor Name to appear in Payment document.

Is is possible to copy vendor name automatically in Payment document in TEXT field ??. Any User Exit or substitution available in the system.

Domain Names Not Appearing In Drop Down of Data Cleansing Task

For some reason, in several of my DQS data cleansing tasks, the domain names of the knowledge base I choose are not appearing. This is turn leads to an error message stating that "No domain field has been mapped to the input column...".
The task can see the DQS server and it can see the various knowledge bases on that server, but the domains are not appearing.
Has anyone else run into this issue?

I have just found the same issue.
For me, I believe it is because the domains are only used in matching rules, which the SSIS task does not support. Therefore they are not in the drop down as the SSIS DQS task cannot use them. Only map domains for data correction and you should be ok.

Contact names not appearing in texts or when calls recieved

I got off a plane from the UK to the US (this was a return trip, i'm from the US on Verizon) and when I turned my iPhone 4S back on, all of the contact names (who are in my Contacts) disppeared from emails, texts and my phone log. A friend told me to "Import SIM Contacts" but that didn't do anything. I deleted all of my texts hoping that when I sent new texts and recieved calls names would appear, however they still are not. Is there anything I can do other than take it to the Genius Bar?

I have other issues with my phone, but at least this one seems cleared up for now.

Names not appearing

when I receive calls on my Q10 the names do not appear even though they are in my contact list. This happens with calls from within my country (Kenya). I have saved my numbers with +254 being the country international dialling code. Any suggestions? This was not an issue on my previous device BB Bold

When sending a group text the contact names do not appear but the phone numbers do, is there a way to change this? Phone is a Z30 STA100-5
