you can not do manually .since you bring vendor from ECC it become r/3 nmber range (when you selected r/3 no range).
I it is internally also you an not.since it genrated automaticllytfrom te systm.

Hi Experts,
I have a question regarding the org. structure i SRM.
We are trying to take the SRM system from SRM server 4.0 to 7.0.
I have an understandig that SRM after 4.0 don't use the vendor org. unit, to allocate the vendors in anymore. I need a report/program/transaction to move the vendors from the org. unit.
Does anyone have any documentation for this issue?

Create and assign new user in SRM org struct when HR Distribution is active
Hello experts,
In SRM HR Distribution list is active.
Now requirement is we want to create new user in SRM and assign it with the SRM Org structure.
1.)Do i need to create a user in SRM and in ECC HR i mean in both the system or in ECC-HR only.?
2.)When user is there in ECC-HR system then how i can assign user to SRM Org structure. Is there any FM or Standarrd Program ?

As you mentioned HR distribution is active hence you need to create the user in ECC environment and assign it to the org. structure in ECC.
Again there would be few user which you would create in SRM evironment and those would be administator specific.
Activating pointers for HRMD_ABA message allows to replicate all changes made to the organizational structure in HR to SRM.
Changes in HR structure include modifications (add/modify/delete) in the following:
u2022 Organizations
u2022 Jobs
u2022 Positions
u2022 Employees
A change in the relationship of any of the elements above will also be replicated to SRM. For instance, an employee changing units will be reflected in SRM.
Pre-requisite: SU01D ID should exist prior to replicating the concerned user in SRM.

I am getting dump user attribute not maintained after deleting user assignment from org structure.
what can i do to retain old status. or atleas wants to avoid getting this dump ..while displaying this SC.

Nilesh,It is never a good idea to just delete a user assignment. What I find is that people just go on deleting assignments without considering the consequences. And later on it gives a lot of trouble to correct errors.
So never delete an assignment, but give it an end date (it's there for a reason!).
On to your problem: as said by someone else, get the user/business partner back into the organisational model (doesn't matter where actually) and there won't be an error. Try first with ppoma_bbp, if that doesn't work use pp01 - use pp01 with care and know exactly what you want to achieve else you'll end up creating a bigger mess than you started with.
If you have deleted the business partner completely you will have to update the database by hand hacking tables (a big reason never to delete a bp you are not entirely sure about).

Whenever we are trying to create the SC with source of supply with one user we are receiving the error message as "Vendor XYZ not intended for purch. org. XYZ Purchasing Department ".

I like to suggest the below to check once (as i found on web):
In SAP SRM 5.0 (SRM Server 5.5), the "shop with limit" functionality is a standard capability.
There is really no special configuration required for "shop with limit" as opposed to the "describe requirement". As long as u specify the vendor (if known), acct. assignment (if known), the corresponding cart is created.
Unfortunately, you have not provided the complete error on the Vendor, but I'm assuming it is: "Vendor not intended for purchasing organization". This is usually the case if the Vendor Organization does not have a purchasing organization assigned. Check the BUK attribute for the vendor org in PPOSV_BBP and also make sure the purchasing organization is assigned to the corresponding company code organization unit in PPOSA_BBP.

We want to use standard workflow WS 20001004 for releasing vendor invoices which are parked and complete for posting. We are using this with WS 20001003 which saves an invoice as complete. The problem we are facing is that we need 2 people to approve invoices over a particular value say USD 100,000. However, we are able to have only one approver for a value. we cannot use one of the 2 users to save an invoice as complete because it is a step executed by a person who cannot approve invoices. Please help.

In the Agent determination you have to code for send it to right person. How you determine the agent via rule or Expression or Org.struct... Can you tell

Proproblem in replicating vendor in MM-Sus schenario

I tried to replicate vendor from ECC to Sus system . My sus is a separate client in my SRM box . I have followed the procedure given in plan driven procurement process when i tried to run the transaction bd14 iam getting the idocs upto sus sytem before posting it to the vendor org group it is throwing me error wheni i debug the same iam getting the error message as region code is not maintained for the country . Is there any procedure for replicating the same from ecc system thanx in advance for your valuable input

In SRM SUS scenario, when the SUS Vendor Administrator creates a new SUS user or changes an existing SUS user in the SUS User Management screen, an error "The region is not defined for country" occurs during SUS user replication to SRM system. This error happens when the vendor's country is different from the user's country. This note rectifies the above mentioned error.
This issue already exist in EBP_SUS

Creation of Bidders / Vendors with BP
Hi all,
Some Basic questions. The creation of Bidders/Vendors in SRM will create a BP and links the Bidder/Vendor to the Vendor Org structure.
Can we create just a BP alone for a Bidder/Vendor in SRM, maintain him and make him participate in bidding, without any data as a Bidder/Vendor in Manager Business Partner data?? If so how??

Thanks for the quick response. My question was slightly different.
I am very well aware of the fact that the Bidder/Vendors created in SRM has to be linked to the Org structure, and also that we need to create Contact persons for them.
Basically when we can create Bidders/vendors and also their corresponding contact persons in 'Manage Business Partner' transaction, which would create a 'Bidder Master data' with a bidder number and a 'business partner master data' with a bp number( If I am right, CP creation and SU01 User linking will be automatically taken care of ).
Now my question was that, can I go and create a business partner with transaction BP, linking him to Org structure and also to a user id, and make the BP work fine in Bidding.
As Disha suggested, can I just create a BP, CP for the BP and a SU01 user for the BP alone? Will that alone be sufficient?
If yes, then after creating the BP, how do I create a CP for the BP and link the User to the BP?

The Org Unit field in IT 0001in PA is not capturing the ORG unit stored in OM.Integration is active between OM and PA currently.The Job and position fields are carrying over without any issues.

I got the same prob, and resolved with the following. Replied for general help purpose. As this post is from Dec, hopfully u hv already done.
please do the following steps.
**Go to Tcode SA38
1- Run report RHINTE10
program allows you to create object types in Personnel Administration (HR-PA) which have already been set up in Personnel Planning and Development (HR-PD) and which are needed for integration. dont forget to uncheck "Test" check box.
The following object types are relevant to integration:
PD PA
Work center (object type A) Tables T528B, T528T
Job (Object type C) Tables T513, T513S
Position (Object type S) Tables T528B, T528T
Organizational unit (Object type O) Table T527X
2) Run RHINTE20
This program can be used to check whether the relevant object types for integration have been created in both Personnel Administration (HR-PA) and Personnel Planning and Development (HR-PD).
The entries in the HR tables T513/T513S (job), T528B/T528T (position, work center) and T527X (organizational unit) are compared with the corresponding objects that have been created in the HRPnnnn file for PD in the integration plan version.
Objects that are missing either in PA or PD can be created immediately
3- Also check ur org struct in PPOME. Hope ur prob will b ok with 1st two task

I log on NEP and go to Transaction /nBBPGETVD...

Fill in the following table entries

Limit Vendor Selection:
Vendor From = xxx (See list Preferred Supplier Vendor List.xls)
Purchasing Organization From = xxx

Object ID = xxxx (see Vendor Org Group folder for ID)
Click on button to stage transmission.
Click on Display list button to view
New window will display results

To view application log .
I go to transaction SLG1

You can not assign contact person to org unit.
See the basic concept is org struct represents the company. And contact person is third party which is not the part of company. So it is not possible to assign contact person to org unit. Only BPs created in role Employee can be assigned to org units through positions.

Hello experts,
I have created an org struct. I have created org unit for marketing, sales and service. I have given required attributes to these org units.And i have checked "obj permitted for determination". Also in function tab I have checked sales scenario and sales organization option for these or units.
Now when I come to BP transaction and try to set a relation in relationship tab by clicking on "create" button. It ask me to select sales area. But in sales area it shows only Marketing org unit. But it does not show sales and service org unit.
I tried almost all possible steps..but couldn't make it. Pls help me here.

Some processes of CRM need to have the sales areas. The sales areas are represented in the organizational model that you can maintain with the transaction PPOMA_CRM, this means they are not physically stored, but they are the result of the different combinations of sales organizations, sales offices, sales groups, channels and divisions maintained in the organizational model.
Whenever a CRM transaction or a business partner needs the sales areas, they are calculated, and this is an expensive process. To speed up this process, the sales areas are buffered.
Report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE is used to buffer the attributes of organizational management objects. To enable buffering you have to maintain view T77OMATTR.
1. <b>Enable Buffering for Sales Scenario</b>

a)Select the structure node Scenarios
b)Check the checkbox in the column Buffering for the scenario SALE
c)Choose Save
2. <b>Update Buffers for Sales Scenario</b>

c)Select the checkboxes for Delete All Buffers and Restructure buffer on Date
