Vendor's Lease Expiring

Hi ,
I've  a requirement of reporting to find out the Vendors whose Leases are getting expired in a certain Period of Time. Its related to Recurring Entries (Business Process Procedure).
Appreciating your efforts,
Jyoti Shankar

Vendor's QM system defines what is the current status of quality system they are using, like ISO 9001 for example. Suppose you are in a pharma industry and of course you need  very high quality raw materials, so you will surely demand for a vendor who is certified by a well known Body like ISO/BS.
In vendor master record you will store the vendor's QM system.
In QCC0> QM in Logistics> QM systems, you define your target and actual (Existing) QM systems. Then you make a comparison table for target vs actual. You define target QM system for the material in QM view of material master.
Quality comes in view when you maintain setting for existing vs vendor's QM system in Q-Info record. here comparison is done based on what target vs actual you maintained in SPRO. So if there is a mismatch, warning message is issued for raising quotation and error message comes for any procurement related activity.
Hope I have cleared your idea on this.

  • Lease expiring pre-maturely?

Hello all. I am having a problem with the lease expiring "early". What I mean by "early" is that in the log files, I can see, under normal runtime behavior, the leases are getting renewed on time (half of what I set java.rmi.dgc.leaseValue to , which is currently 60000). This means that approximately every 30000 ms, a lease renewal should be issued from the client. However, for some unexplained reason yet, on occassion, the client "pauses" in it's request for renewals (which I read as "dirty" DGCImpl requests), and when it does issue another renewal, it is beyond the lease time, and thus, the lease expires on the server, the dgc cleans up the object, and life sucks ;) I am including some of the relavent pieces from the RMI debug logs, to see if any of you RMI experts out there can help me out with this one. Perhaps I am doing something stupid, but it also happens if I use all the RMI default settings (leaseValue=300000).
    The sun.rmi.dgc log:
    Normall, it looks like this:
    May 6, 2005 8:27:35 AM sun.rmi.transport.DGCImpl dirty
    FINER: RMI TCP Connection(140)-10.1.1.118: vmid = dc272e433df044f5:-76cb1e61:103af2ee3f1:-7ffe
    May 6, 2005 8:28:05 AM sun.rmi.transport.DGCImpl dirty

(notice, that the renewal took exactly 30 seconds.. 1/2 of the 60 second lease value). However, after running for what seems to be about 12 minutes, the lease requests are screwed up:
    May 6, 2005 8:31:26 AM sun.rmi.transport.DGCImpl dirty
    FINER: RMI TCP Connection(210)-10.1.1.118: vmid = dc272e433df044f5:22d2d60a:103af2f381c:-7ffe

The lease request to renew took too long: 81 seconds (almost 3 times what it should have been). At this point, the lease is expired (between the above two messages):
    May 6, 2005 8:32:47 AM sun.rmi.transport.DGCImpl$LeaseInfo expired
    FINE: RMI LeaseChecker: dc272e433df044f5:22d2d60a:103af2f381c:-7ffe
At which point, my Remote object gets dereferenced:
    May 6, 2005 8:32:47 AM sun.rmi.transport.Target vmidDead
FINE: RMI LeaseChecker: removing endpoint dc272e433df044f5:22d2d60a:103af2f381c:-7ffe from reference set
    May 6, 2005 8:32:47 AM sun.rmi.transport.Target refSetRemove
FINER: RMI LeaseChecker: reference set is empty: target = sun.rmi.transport.Target@9f05b80
Any ideas on why this is happening? How can I make the client make it's requests in a more timely manner (the server and client are only two rooms away from each other, so they are not traversing the planet).
    Thanks!

I recommend you ask this on the RMI-USERS mailing list (which you would have to join - see the bottom of the RMI Guide to Features in your JDK). That way you will get the attention of Sun employees.

  • DHCP server not reusing expired leases

    Hi,
I'm using DHCP server on SF300 switches for assigning IPs to guest clients.
DHCP lease expiration time is set to 1h, start address is 192.168.1.11 and end address is 192.168.1.20.
SF300 switch assigns all 10 IP addresses to different clients until pool gets exhausted. After 1 hour all DHCP leases become expired and I can verify this on address binding page.
Problem is new clients are connected after let's say 2 hours and they can't get IP address from SF300 switch because pool is exhausted and switch don't delete/reuse expired DHCP leases.
Is there any way to force switch to reuse or delete obsolete DHCP leases so new clients would be able to get valid IP address?

    Hello there,
You can use the command (in privileged EXEC) clear ip dhcp binding X.X.X.X or just an * (asterisk) but if you use just the asterisk instead of an specific ip addresses, ALL bindings will be cleared, including active ones.
    Hope this helps.

  • Windows 7 does not wake from sleep to renew DHCP Lease

I am having trouble with DHCP and sleeping Windows 7 systems.  My Windows 7 systems go to sleep after an hour or so.  The Intel and Broadcom NICs we have use ARP offloading so they continue to respond to ARP while the machine is sleeping.
The problem is that after the DHCP lease expires, the NIC continues to respond to the ARP requests and that causes IP conflicts on the network because the computer is responding to ARP requests for an IP address the computer has lost its lease on.  Any
time a computer is asleep for longer than the DHCP lease time then when a new computer gets the IP from the lost lease, an IP conflict is reported because the new leasee does an ARP to see if the IP is in use and the sleeping computers NIC responds to the
ARP and this results in an IP conflict for the new leasee.
I opened a ticket with the Hardware Vendor, which is Dell in this case, and they opened an engineering case with Intel - the NIC OEM.  The outcome of this case what that this is Windows fault.  Windows is supposed to wake up from sleep and renew
its DHCP lease at the lease half life and then go back to sleep.  My computers are not doing this.  They let the lease expire while they are sleeping.
Is there a problem with Windows 7 that prevents it from waking up and renewing its lease periodically?  It is supposed to maintain the lease according to Dell and Intel, but in my case it it not.

Extending the lease time is a bandage on the problem, and it is what we have done while I attempt to resolve the issue.
The network group would like the lease time set to 4 hours.
Extending the lease time doesn't resolve the issue because it only makes the problem occur less freqently.  With a 2 week lease, a machine needs to be asleep for 2 weeks before it causes a problem.  Machines are not likely to be asleep for 2 weeks
    very often.
The resolution would be to figure out why a sleeping Windows OS is not maintaining its IP address.  If it is not going to renew the DHCP lease while it is asleep, it is still responsible for updating the TCP stack (and the NIC) to let it know that it
no longer has a lease to that IP address.  The OS has offloaded ARP to the NIC, which continues to respond to ARP while the computer is asleep.  If the OS lets the lease expire, then it needs to notify the NIC to stop responding to ARP requests for
    that address.

  • User exit for creating/deleting vendor master

    Hello Gurus,
I have this task that to update this customized transaction we have for the certification list of the vendors. What they want is every time that there is new vendor master to be created or deleted in XK01, the customized transaction we have for the certification list of the vendors should be updated. I am thinking to suggest  link the table LFB1 and LFA1 to the custo tcode we have to satisfy the business needs. Or any other suggestions? What are the user exits that can be use and link the creation /deletion vendors to my customized program? Technical team is asking for the user exits but not aware of them
    Thanks!

We have this customized tcode where we input the vendor and materialu2019s expiration date manually. Then client wants to enhance that custo tcode with features when creating and deleting vendor in XK01 transaction, the new vendors data will also be automatically updated the custo tcode we have before. Its like everytime there is new vendor created, the custo tcode we have before will be updated with the new vendor data(not automatically input) then if the vendor is deleted, the vendor entry in the custo tcode we have before will also be deleted.
I found the user exit SAPMF02K but according to the technical team it is not applicable to our issue. Any suggestions or comments or other user exit that we can use to develop this new request wanted by the client?
    Thanks!

  • [SOLVED] Hostname not showing in DHCP lease list

This is a brand new installation using the new systemd base.
Installed openbox as window manager and Network Manager.
What did I miss that the hostname of this computer (opus) is not showing up in the DHCP Leases list?
When I connect to the network using Network Manger(DHCP), hostname is not sent to the DHCP server (DNSmasq). It shows up as a "*":
    DHCP leases
    Hostname      IP-address                MAC-address            Lease expires
    *                     192.168.10.100        XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX    Nov 28th, 19:34
    *                     192.168.10.59          XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX    Nov 28th, 19:23
    alarmpi           192.168.10.69          XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX    Nov 28th, 16:56
    RM696            192.168.10.97          XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX    Nov 28th, 18:23
    (I blanked out the MAC-addresses.)
The first entry is connecting through wireless. The second is wired.
    At the command line:
    hostname
    opus
    hostname -f
    localhost.localdomain
    /etc/hosts:
    # /etc/hosts: static lookup table for host names
    #<ip-address>    <hostname.domain.org>    <hostname>
    127.0.0.1    localhost.localdomain    localhost    opus
    ::1        localhost.localdomain    localhost    opus
    # End of file
What file do I need to change and how?
    Updated:
    1) I created a /etc/dhclient.conf file and added:
    send host-name "opus";
    request subnet-mask, broadcast-address, time-offset, routers,
    domain-search, domain-name, domain-name-servers, host-name;
    and rebooted.
    This had no effect.
    2) Just for kicks, I uninstalled Network Manager and installed Wicd.
This DID send the hostname and it displayed on the DHCP Leases List. But it also had the effect of turning off the WiFi radio.
I did try to turn it back on: Went to the BIOS, made sure it was on (it was). Read some posts about power savings and what to do (tried them, didn't work).
So I uninstalled Wicd, re-installed Network Manager and I am back to where I was.

  • SQL Server AlwaysOn Failover threshold and Lease Timeout

    Hi experts,
I found each time when I were building/restoring another log shipping(standby) server. It would cause ERR [RES] SQL Server Availability Group: [hadrag] Failure detected, diagnostics heartbeat is lost(in cluster log) and A connection timeout has occurred on a previously established connection to availability replica 'DL980-4' with id(in errorlog). I google and find a document (http://download.microsoft.com/download/0/F/B/0FBFAA46-2BFD-478F-8E56-7BF3C672DF9D/Troubleshooting%20SQL%20Server%20AlwaysOn.pdf ) indicated that “This may be a performance issue”.  I  run restore database and AlwaysOn synchronizing on the same 10GbE link at the same time.
      Should I increase
leaseTimeout from 20000 to 100000 and
    HealthCheckTimeout from 30000 to 300000?
Does it work to prevent unnecessary failover.

    Hi Denzil
we seem to see lease expires very frequently when the server is under very high cpu pressure .. our failure condition level is 1
is it possible to prevent this situation . the problem is when lease expires, all the current connections seem to be dropped . wondering if there is a way to prevent this ..
Also is it possible to affitinize the always on health check process to a particular core
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Dennis
      Should I increase
leaseTimeout from 20000 to 100000 and
    HealthCheckTimeout from 30000 to 300000?
Does it work to prevent unnecessary failover.
    1. you can increase the timeout parameter, but when the fail-over time slight delay will be there (its a work around solution)
    2. You may require to check the Network connections. (Cluster Heartbeat & public network)
    3. Have you update the latest patches of OS & DB?
    4.  If possible raise the ticket to Microsoft. they may give some update for Cluster resource update based on your issue

  • Why can't Windows 7 be forced to use DHCP broadcast lease renewal?

I have been going to this coffee shop for 11 years. It still has the same ADSL-based wireless internet service (an old wireless access point connected to the internet through ADSL).
The ONLY way to communicate with the DHCP server in this wireless AP is via broadcast - lease renewal requests to the DHCP server via direct IP address are IGNORED. On top of that, the DHCP IP assignment pool is rather small, so to compensate the DHCP lease
time is set to expire every 10 minutes. This is no problem normally, because an active DHCP client will request a lease renewal at half the lease time, or 5 minutes before the lease expires.
Here is my problem: I had my registry setup to force DHCP broadcast and all was happy - UNTIL Microsoft decided to have an update ADD a "toggle broadcast" flag to the registry and make it impossible to override (so far, in spite of the kb928233
page that supposedly tells you how to do so). Ever since then, I lose my DHCP lease (and therefore my internet connection) EVERY 10 MINUTES.
BTW, the KB928233 page has manual registry editing instructions that are so poorly written that at least 2 or 3 different interpretations of those instructions exist. I tried at least 3 different interpretations of those instructions - none worked. A good
part of the problem is no examples were given of what the resulting key tree should look like in regedit.
I have invested at least 2 days in Google searches and various attempts to get these flags set the right way again - all to no avail. If I can't figure out how to solve this problem in 2 days of trying something is dreadfully wrong. Again, with emphasis,
this USED TO WORK until somebody decided to put in a windows update that broke it.
All I want to know is: for a particular wireless connection how to force broadcast DHCP lease renewal. Some update in the last several months seriously broke that, making it nearly impossible to force broadcast mode.  Oh yeah, it does a broadcast renewal
request EVENTUALLY - AFTER THE CONNECTION WAS TERMINATED! That is useless - I just lost my remote terminal session or file transfer. I need it to do the broadcast request BEFORE the lease terminates.

About 3 years ago (IIRC), when I first encountered this problem I used Wireshark to see what was going on. In the link you gave, the second bullet point under item 1 states that a broadcast DHCP renewal request would be given at 87.5 percent of the lease
time. Wireshark never indicated that such a broadcast renewal went out. It did show the directed request at the 50% point.
There is one other thing that may be relevant: at the time this problem re-appeared several months ago, a new registry flag also appeared: DhcpConnEnableBcastFlagToggle which was set to 1. I didn't put it there, so I surmise it came from a Microsoft update.
At this same time the DhcpConnForceBroadcastFlag that I had set to 1 to fix my problem had been reset to 0, thus re-creating my problem.
I have not looked at the traffic with Wireshark this time around, but I do know that I could use regedit to set the DhcpConnForceBroadcastFlag to 1, but 10 minutes later (at the exact second of the DHCP lease expiration) the connection was momentarily interrupted
and when I did a regedit refresh, DhcpConnForceBroadcastFlag was now reset to 0 with a new lease expiration and *start* time.
I suspect Windows rather than the access point for this reason: on a hunch last night, I tried stopping the DHCP client service, using regedit to set the DhcpConnForceBroadcastFlag to 1, then starting the DHCP client service. After this, at the DHCP lease
expiration time there was no interruption of the connection, the DhcpConnForceBroadcastFlag was still 1 afterwards, and the DHCP lease time had been extended another 10 minutes with no new DHCP lease start time.
So now my problem appears to be solved once again - and hopefully not temporarily this time.
The laptop I am using has Windows 7 Home Premium edition with SP1 on it with all the latest updates. It does not appear to me to behave in the manner given in your TechNet note on Lease Renewals. If it would behave that way, I would not have had this problem.
I am fully aware that the KB I list is for Vista - it was the only information I could find in what otherwise appears to be a void of information.

  • Reserve IP Address lease by HW Address

Need to configure router to reserve an IP address to a MAC address, so that a specific laptop gets the same IP address even after the lease expires. Do not want to set the wirless NIC, on the laptop, with a static IP, so it can acquire an IP when connecting to other networks.

It depends on your router. The cheaper routers don't support this. Only the more advanced one. Check the manual to find out if it is supported on your router.

  • How to check the DHCP lease remaining time

    Hello Community,
I am troubleshooting a connectivity issue on my Macbook pro which APPARENTLY ignores the DHCP ACK messages sent in reply to Unicast DHCP Requests (the ones sent when T1 timer expires at 50% of the lease time) from a particular DHCP server.
Do you happen to know the command which shows the current remaining lease time for the assigned DHCP IP address? I need that to confirm my assumptiom.
By checking in the /leases folder you may only see the original lease Start date, which is the time the initial DHCP DORA process took place. When the 'refresh' DHCP requests are sent after 50% of the lease, and consequently the DHCP ACKs from the server are received the value in that file does not change. That means that this command is not good to check what I need.
    I.e.:
    xxxxxxx-mac:db xxxxxxi$ sudo cat /private/var/db/dhcpclient/leases/en1-1,<omitted-MAC>

Even when a subsequent DHCP ACK message is received that value remains unchanged.
I need a command or application which shows instead the actual lease timer.
    thanks,
    Riccardo

apparently I am not getting lucky by putting the question this way.. let me try another approach giving more background details.
    PROBLEM:
When I am in a particular location my mac get disconnected from the network every 30 minutes when my DHCP IP address expires. The DHCP server grants 30 minutes IP leases only.
I took some capture (I sniffed DHCP transactions) and I could see that when 50% of the lease time is reached (T1) my mac sends a new unicast DHCP request to the DHCP server which replies immediately with a DHCP ACK confirming 30 more minutes.
Unfortunately I did not find any command to see if the lease gets actually extended.
What I see is that after few minutes (matching the 87.5% T2 timer) my match fires a new DHCP request, which is also answered immediately with a ACK. Then in the last minutes before the 30 minutes threshold I see many other requests which are also all answered. Nevertheless when the origianal 30 minutes lease expires my MAC releases the IP and start a new Discovery process (sending a bcast request). After few seconds the DORA process completes and usually the mac gets the same IP address. The issue for me is that in the meantime my VPN session to my corporate network goes down and all the services associated with that go down too (softphone, presence, chat, email etc).
I did some test in my place and I configured my DHCP server to assign IP addresses with a 30 minutes lease time too. Strangely the issue does not happen. On my place every 15 minutes (again the famous T1 timer = 50% of the lease) my mac sends a request and the DHCP replies with an ACK. This time apparently the lease gets extended as I don't see all the other requests. Needless to say that the IP does not get released at any time.
I compared the wireshark capture to spot any difference between that DHCP ACK I got in that given location and the one I got in my place but they look the same to me.
So the question is, how would you troubleshoot this issue? Which kinds of logs, outputs or debugs should I take?
    thanks,
    Riccardo

  • Dhcp client lease, nat translation statistics

I am using my 3620 instead of a netgear cable router connected to cablevision.
    1) How can I see when the router dhcp lease ends so I can see if it gets another address? I have seen on past posts that there were problems with this issue. I am using 12.3(13) ios.
    2) How can I see how much memory has been used by nat translations? I have 64Meg of memory.
    Thanks

    Hi csross,
If I understand you correct this will resolve your issue.
    1) show ip dhcp binding [ip-address]
It will show you the lease expiration like the output below
Router# show ip dhcp binding 172.16.1.11
IP add Hard add Lease expiration Type
    172.16.1.11 00a0.9802.32de Feb 01 1998 12:00 AM Automatic

I am still not sure of the command.

Hey I just got the monitor for my computer back (its the same one, it was taken away for about a week or so) and when I go to the Music store, I basically cant do anything BUT browse around the store. I cant buy anything, and if I try to, it says unknown error, (-9808). The same thing happens if i try to create a new account and i get error 9808. I signed out during a troubleshoot, and I cant sign back in. If i do, I again get error 9808. I also cant access most of the quick links. i cant access "Redeem", "Buy iTunes Gifts", "Account", or "Support". if i try, i get unknown error (-1202). i can however click on "Power Search", "Browse", and "iTunes News". can some one please tell me how to fix this? Everything was fine until I plugged in my monitor and turned on my computer for the first time in more then 2 weeks.

The Fix (& It's NOT Your Firewall)
    A. Symptoms
When you try to connect to the iTunes Store you may receive the alert message "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (-9808). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later."
    B. Resolution
Check your computer's date, time, and time zone. Set the correct date, time, and time zone if needed. If your computer's date, time, and time zone are all correct and you still see this alert message, this issue can be resolved by modifying certain settings in the Internet Options control panel:
    1) Go to the Start menu and choose Control Panel.
    2) Select Internet Options.
Note: If you are using Windows Vista you may need to select Classic View on the left before you can see Internet Options.
Note: If you are using WIndows 7 you may need to change "View by" to either Large icons or Small icons before you can see Internet Options.
    3) Click the Advanced tab.
    4) In the Settings box, scroll down to the Security section.
    5) Deselect the option to "Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)."
    6) Select the options for "SSL 3.0" and "TLS 1.0."
    7) Apply the changes and restart your computer.

  • [SOLVED] How do I disable enp0s3?

I am trying to remove unwanted services from boot, specifically enp0s3 which I don't use as I don't have a ethernet card.
This is my start up time analysis:
    $ systemd-analyze blame

    1.580s alsa-restore.service

    375ms systemd-journal-flush.service
    62ms systemd-journald.service

As I don't have ethernet can I turn it off?  I saw this https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=158885 which is almost the opposite of my issue so I tried
    systemctl disable dhcpcd
(I'm unsure if that is wise or even relevant) but still the device is trying to start and I don't know why
    $ systemctl status dhcpcd

lsmod | grep tg shows nothing at all (why tg btw?  did you mean th for ethernet?).
$ sudo lsmod | grep th
    bluetooth 403639 2 btusb

lspci-vv doesn't show kernel modules either for ethernet.

I don't have a bios  (have a macbook) - I am booting EFI.  I could pass a kernel parameter but it is same issue - I need to know what module to disable.  Or how to disable the driver.

  • Poor fps rates in tera online and dell pc checkup graphics test

I am trying to play a online game called tera online but poor fps is making it impossible the game support techs say my comp should have no problem with it I have a diagnostic report from them (I don't know what ip addresses might put me at risk so I removed
them all) they do mention some data lose could that be the problem? also I get poor fps from the dell pc checkup graphics test but it says pass(also included)

It is the Intel onboard GPU that is letting you down. Most games require a graphics device with some grunt. With a desktop computer you can usually add/upgrade your graphics card but this could be a problem for a laptop.
To increase fps you should try changing the graphics options ingame to use the lowest resolution possible and set all graphics options to their lowest levels.
Minimum system requirements for a game (or any program) are those which just allow the game to run.
Recommended system requirements on the other hand are those which allow the game to run as it was intended.
The recommended minimum for a gpu is either an nVidia 8800GT or an AMD Radeon HD 3870
Below are the results of your system specs plugged into this page :

  • Secure link to iTunes Store failed: HELP!

I'm new to iTunes and purchased my first iPod yesterday night. The first time I plugged in my iPod to sync it, I wasn't able to. At first I had version 10 then it updated. On the previous version I was able to access the iTunes store but wasn't able to sync my iPod. I had downloaded the most recent version of iTunes (10.1) and then this problem occured.
"iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. The network connection timed out. Please make sure that the network settings are correct and that your netowrk is connected, then try again."
I've read several different manuals and emailed Apple about it. I've tried a lot of different things to fix it.
    +-change firewall settings+
    +-redownloaded iTunes+
    +-contacted Apple Tech Support+
    +-changed proxy settings+
    +-changed permissions+
    +-disabled firewall+
    +-restarting iTunes+
    +-restarting router+
And several others. Nothing seems to work. I ran a diagnostic review and this is what came up.
    *Network interfaces verified*
    *Internet connection verified*
*Secure link to iTunes Store failed*
I'm not sure how to fix it now. These are what I copied from the diagnostic review.

What do I do? Any information and suggestions would be very helpful.

i found a solution that worked in my case..i found it in this thread: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2284692?start=0&tstart=0 in texlark's post..i copied and pasted it here:
