Vendor Search for del or inactive vendors

Hi,
We have many vendors of the same name but with diff locations and some are deleted. But when we are creating a PO for a particular vendor and when we enter the part name it will show all the vendor even deleted vendor also. But is there a way to get the current vendor or active vendor list. Is there a feild where we can use it for our search???

I know where i can change the template.
I am working in transaction se11 with searchhelp: bbph_product --> bbph_product_general, here i can add fields to the search screen(vendor product number?).
This searchhelp is linked to the Function module: bbp_f41f_shlp_exit_product_gen.
In this function module is the logica maintaind how to search(ABAP code).
From here i don't know what to do further.
I want the system (searchhelp) to search for the vendor product number in the inforecords located in ECC.

Error in MIR7 - Different Material Vendor planned for del. costs item in PO

Dear All,
We getting error during MIR7.
We add two freight condtion ZFRO and ZFRT in purchase order as below :
ZFRO = we have add Rs. 350 against freight to Vendor(MATERIAL VENDOR)
ZFRT = We have add Rs. 100 for local freight which is paid to FREIGHT VENDOR directly (cash payment) i.e. paid for Transporter's Godown to our factory.
Now during MIGO, store department has enter as :
1. ZFRT (Freight Vendor - FREIGHT VENDOR)
2. ZFRO (Freight Vendor - MATERIAL VENDOR)
Now during MIR7 we are getting following error :
Different Material Vendor 300255 planned for del. costs item in PO 4500028018
(300255 is FREIGHT VENDOR which is at Number 1 in freight tab of MIGO)

For good and service,
In MIR7, select the option Goods/Service Item
First do only for Good/Service item...
After that, in MIR7 select only Planned Delivery cost and give the same PO number..
Then you will receive a pop-up message to choose vendor..
Here select one vendor and press continue..
Then save you invoice..
And again do the same and just select the other vendor..
You can see 3 invoice number in PO history..
One for goods charges and another two for freight charges..

Search scan program for Dell C1765NFW

Search scan program for Dell Laser printer C1765NFW compatible to OSX Mavericks 10.9.2. For Windows come special program with printer, but for OSX come nothing or just driver for minimal function. Who have any idea which scan program I can buy and use with this type of laser (all in one) printer?

Try using Image Capture. It's located in your Applications folder.
Launch Image Capture then connect the printer.
The printer/scanner should show up under Devices top left side of the Image Capture window.
Now look at the bottom left side of the window. Click the: Connecting this (device) opens: pop up menu and select an application to import your photos.
You can also select a folder to import photos from the Import To: pop up menu.
Selet the photos you want to import then click Import or Import All on the right.
More help is available from the Image Capture menu bar. Click Help > Image Capture Help

If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

I downloaded virus protection, adware protection and ran them all and got nothing. Then I got a phoney call from the "microsoft technicians, so called Applecare and they told me what files to search for if it was Safari and suggested I contact Firefox. Searching for links across multiple pdf files

We have thousands of pdf files that are being moved to a new website. Some of these pdf files have links within them (either as text or as a hyperlink). This number is unknown.
The issue is how to programmatically search across multiple pdf files (numbering in the thousands) looking for links using a regular expression or part of a path. This will have to be able to search behind the text and search for the link url.
We first need to identify the number of files with links and create a list of the files with links that need modifying. If the number is too great to modify manually, then we would need the ability to programmatically edit these links.
The pdf files are stored in a database. Also, the pdf files are different versions and some are password protected.
Is there an Adobe product that will perform this? If not, are there any 3rd party vendor products that will accomplish this?

I have no solution, but a thought: the database factor may seem to be
a killer. But you could look for a solution designed to read PDF files
from a web site (by spidering or from a list), which would presumably
load them.
Or could do a one off extraction of the files from the database into a
directory and use that for your process. Probably a very good idea,
since extracting all files from the database is likely to be costly
and hammer the server (but can be scheduled at a sensible pace), while
the search process will (if it is possible at all) doubtless need to
be run countless times.

UIM Installation in MS (VM 2) fails as it searches for files in AS (VM 1)

Dear Gurus,
Scenario:
For UIM installation, 2 Virtual Machines (VM 1 & VM 2) with no shared disk given.
VM 1 hosts Admin Server (AS) & Manage Server (MS).
After creation of domain, the directory structure is copied from VM 1 to VM 2.
Ran the UIM Installer on VM 2 with intentions to install UIM on MS running on VM 1.
Issue:
When UIM installer tries to deploy the application on MS (target server) it fails because it cannot find those files i.e. OracleCommunications and UIM folder in VM 1 which were created in VM 2 in the process of installing UIM. It still baffles me why it is not searching for the files which were created in the current VM (VM 2) but instead looking at VM 1 which were non-existent. With the same architecture, installation of OSM works perfectly with no similar issue. Basic intention behind this architecture is to segregate the Admin tasks related to Server & UIM app.

I"m sorry you're unhappy with Sun products. Many users will have different opinions.
Many of the issues we see often have had "technotes" published about them. However, many folk don't seem willing to look those up.
Many folk also don't seem interested in looking at the documentation, either.
Yes, our documentation can be confusing. Ours, and others, too.
You always have the option of moving to other vendors, anytime you wish.
In a direct comparison between Messaging Server and Exchange, however, our product looks pretty good. It's easier to maintain, handles far more users, at a lower cost per user, and is more stable.
How many Exchange servers would you need (and how many administrators) to handle 500,000 users? JES Messaging Server can do that all on one box, with very few admins.

Searching for USB Wireless for OS 9/X

I am in search of a wireless USB adapter which works for OS 9 and also OS X. Can someone provide me with the name of some vendors who still carry 802.11b usb adapters for Mac OS 9?

Bluetooth for Mac on an USB stick
I used this for many years for connecting to my old desktop G4, and i guess i might have used it on OS 9.2.x too. Used it with my "fancy" *Nokia 6230i* with the impressive 2G network (ref- http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_6230i-1087.php), mostly for photo transfers, but also with BluePhoneElite managing my SMS messages, backing them up to my Mac, the important ones. Worked like a dream, mostly.
Just to day i removed it from my USB HUB to day, where it was still connected to an active up and going G4, where it worked well also in OS X up to OS 10.4.11 (haven't updated the G4 further, since it only is in use besides my new iMac.)
Point is, this is a version 1 USB, but it also works with USB 2 devices, as is my experience with USB 1 and 2. I may run USB 1 on USB 2 devices, but only with the speed of the version standard.
The USB Bluetooth stick i used is: D-Link Model No: DBT-120. It got the MacUser (magazine) awards of 2002. I did a search at search.yippy.com (D-Link DBT-120) and found it here http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=34
...Since my early version it's updated to USB 2 standard, but it may well work still for older Macs running OS 9.x.
Further search for buying some to day showed Amazon on the top of th pirice list, at $ 79.95!!!

Is there a way to globally search for content?

As more types of video become available, my biggest bugaboo with the Apple TV is the lack of a global search for a movie or TV show title or actor. I now look on Netflix, then look on Hulu, then look at YouTube, then look in iTunes store every time I have an idea for something I wish to watch enters my head.
Other than a jailbreak, is there some way to do this that I am not getting? Is anyone else interested in this feature? Friends running home servers like Plex always bring this up as one of the reasons to use their solution.

Jailbreaking will not help you with that. It is a matter of what vendors are dealing wheat suppliers, they aggrements they have in place, and the content they can get, and where (geographically) they can provide it. Other than iTunes, Apple has no control over that (and limited control even then).
I've been using an app called CanIStream.It for a while. Not always 100% accuratre, but has helped to find some content. I think they have a corresponding website, but not sure.

Searching for sites not web pages

This is not really a Safari question, although I'm using Safari as my browser. If there is a more relevant forum, please let me know.
I want to search for sites, not pages, that contain certain keywords. I'm looking for a variety of items and I want to find a site that sells all of them, not just one or two. So I envisage typing in the name of items A, B, C, D, W, X and up come web sites that contain all of those words.
Is this possible?

Try the help pages for your favorite search engine. Quotation marks and logical operators might help you structure your query. You might also try entering your search terms into a TextEdit document before you past them into your search engine, so you can keep track of the queries that are more successful and build on those.

Of course there are many generalized and specialized search engines available, so if one doesn't do the trick, keep trying others!
Just from practical experience, if you are looking for mass-produced brand new items normally distributed through retail channels and cannot find all of them on Amazon.com, you are probably looking for such specialized or costly items, that one vendor probably won't carry them all.
Some manufacturers still try to sell items through "authorized dealers only": computers, cameras, electronic components, jewelry, exotic cars, weapons, and 'collectibles', so you might not have much success if your search involves any or all of them.

Need help showing singles and albums after searching for them In I Tunes 11 Win 7

Just got I tunes 11 iusing Win 7 and when I add songs and search for them in the upper right hand corner the album or the song appears. NowI need to view the single so I can add info. But I cannot figure out where to click to jump to that single shown in the main display or the album shown in the main display window. Can somebody please help me? What to you click on? I wanted to bring closure to this unanswered thread. I came to realize that I put way too much into that post (information overload) and couldn't possibly expect for anyone to take on such a compilation of driver issues all at once. I later put each issue into separate threads and then got the help I needed. I learned how to find out what the Hardware ID was for each one and got the appropriate software driver to match.
Kudos go to Jerry_Lippey who helped me out in so many ways plus gave me the link to a page where I learned how do do this myself.

I look after a company where I installed a new DELL server last year, The server is running Windows Small Business Server 2011 which we installed. Exchange 2010 was installed as part of the Windows Small Business Server 2011 installation. At the time we
did not configure Exchange because they use external POP accounts for email. Eventually they wanted to move over to Exchange
When we created the user accounts using Windows SBS Console, it created a local mailbox for each user

Since late last year every time I create a new user within SBS Console, it errors creating the mailbox

Getting "Unexpected error occurred" when Setting up an e-mail account for user
Looking at the error "Unexpected error occurred" & MessagingManagement "Unexpected error occured"
The user account is created ok just no e-mail address is created for the user
I never thought much about this at the time as we weren't using Exchange email accounts. I decided to have a look at this issue over weekend
When I try to open Microsoft Exchange Management Console I'm getting "Initialization failed"
The following error occurred when searching for the On-Premises Exchange server
When I try to open Microsoft Exchange Management Shell, I get a similar error
I've download & run EMTShooter which just identifies there is an error & gives me the same error
I've installed & re-installed WinRM IIS Extensions
I've checked all the settings in IIS, Default Web Site, PowerShell, Modules & Paths...
Still cannot connect to Exchange
I've trawled through the internet for two days checking & testing every solution but no luck
I've checked every setting against another Windows SBS 2011 Server we've installed & works
I cannot find a difference
Can someone help me or point me in the right direction?

I've download & run EMTShooter which just identifies there is an error & gives me the same error
I've installed & re-installed WinRM IIS Extensions
I've checked all the settings in IIS, Default Web Site, PowerShell, Modules & Paths...
Still cannot connect to Exchange
I've trawled through the internet for two days checking & testing every solution but no luck
I've checked every setting against another Windows SBS 2011 Server we've installed & works
I cannot find a difference
Can someone help me or point me in the right direction?

I've added more detail about the error, this server is exactly how I initially installed it. This was a clean install not a migration so Exchange was a new installation. I have not applied any service packs as I did not want to confuse matters
or compound the issue. I was wondering whether to install Server 2008 Service Pack 1 & the Exchange Service Packs. I will check the event logs & report back with what I find.
Here's the original error I was getting when opening Exchange Management Console

The following error ocurred while searching for the on-premises Exchange server:
[server.myd.local] Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : The WinRM client cannot process the request. It cannot determine the content type of the HTTP response from the destination computer. The content type is absent or invalid.
For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic. It was running the command 'Discover-ExchangeServer -UseWIA $true -SuppressError $true -CurrentVersion 'Version 14.1 (Build 218.15)
I got similar error when trying to access the Exchange Management Shell

I could only run Exbpa from a command prompt (obviously no access from Exchange Management Console)

One thing I've noticed from the start is that the error occurs when it is "searching" for the Exchange Server, it then goes on to name the server [server.myd.local] it knows it's there but cannot access it ?
Another thing I've noticed is that it always refers to the "remote server" this server is Windows SBS 2011, it's the Domain Controller, DHCP Server, DNS Server & Exchange Server all in the same box
I also noticed that the Health Check stated that "The default public folder database is remote"
Has this something to do with it ?
