Vendor Search List Incomplete in Portal.

Hi,
we are on SRM 3.0 / EBP 4.0 ECS.When Vendor starting with number range 5* viz 50000 to 50005 is given in BP tcode there are 6 hits,While in portal its giving 2 hits, 4 vendors are missing in the search criteria in portal.

Thanks for some input. But as already mentioned above, I have tried using all possible types of dialog box (hit list), but the search help on the portal remains the same. I was wondering if there are any settings in the system level or portal content management which would restrict the entries to 150.
Any clue????

These vendors should not be visible to the users for selection.
I tried in the BBP_F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_VENDOR_EXP of the search help BBP_BUPA_VENDOR, but its not working.

Hi,
1) Use tcode BP and enter the vendor number and in the last tab (control). Select central block.
2) Use program BUPA_TEST_DELETE for the vendors.

Display list for Vendor search in SC tcode in SRM 7

Hi all,
We are on SRM 7.1 ECS.
THe vendor search help display list in SRM 7 in the SHOP in 1 STEP tcode displays number of columns like VENDOR ID,name,street,city etc...IN SRM 5,there were only limited number of clumns(around 6) displayed like vendor ID,name,Porg,DUNS etc.
I know in SRM 7,we can right click and always chnage the USER settings for each individual session/user.BUt if I need to craete a default display list for the vendor serach in the SC transaction,is that possible?
Also if I modify the web dynpro application to limit the no of culmns,then changes will be displayed in all the trasnction sin which the vendor search help might be used.
Users in our org have problemw when scrollingtop to bottom in the result list which is displayed for the vednor seaqrch due to the new web dynpro UI in SRM 7 and hence the query.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

the below is for goa . try for BP too.. Why you require TREX search . std search dont enough. since
TREX helps only if you want to enable full text search for long texts and attachments in contracts.You need to instal the trex server and configure the settings:-
1.create RFC destination of type TCP/IP server using TCODE SM59
2.MAINTAIN ENTRY IN back end systems settings
3. Activate full text search y executing the program BBP_TREX_INDEX_ADMIN .
bUSINESS oBJECT : - bus2000113
subtype usiness object :- cc for GOA or blank for operational contracts
Action for SRM TREX index :- select the appropriate value from search help . for example , you would specify A for the initial index generation.
bundle size for indexing : enter "10." bundle size affects performance. The size indicates the number of docuemnts that will be updated in one pass.if there are a large number of documents, then the size may be reduced to improve performance

Portal User Profiles Search List

I've installed Portal successfully and everything seems to be working. One problem i do have is this.
When you click on the search button to list all available portal user profiles it brings up the list correctly but when i click on the hyperlink to select the user nothing happens.
The same thing is happening when selecting an extenal application in the add provider screen.
Has anyone had a similar problem before or knows why this is happening?

Hi,
Actually the number of users are too large. So it may take more time. Try doing the export from the machine which is very fast ,I mean in performance. That may help you save time. But if this happens because of some problem, then have a look at
<Drive:>/usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE>/j2ee/cluster/server<N>/log/defaultTrace.trc from the server. Check the latest trace file.

Sorting problem in standard vendor search help

Hi all,
I'm enhancing the vendor search help.
I found that there is a sorting problem in the original standard search help.
The 1st time to search vendor in the search help returns a correct list, then I just sort the vendor in ascending order. This time the column name of the hit list changes and mismatch the actual values.
Any one faced this problem before?
What's wrong are there ?

But even I don't enhance the vendor search help, I still found that the original standard version has this problem after sorting.
Is that the program bug?

Activity search page in BAM portal

Hi All,
How we can change the back ground color of the report in activity search page in BAM portal?
For example :
If i select ALL in Business Data drop down list or
items to show list box in activity search page of BAM portal (Like Started ,in progress,Completed and Exception of the messages in biz talk)
Each message information in report should generate with different colors .

Spotlight searches appear incomplete

I upgraded my operating system on my IPhone and tried the new search tool. I typed in "Dentist" and it pulled up my most recent dentist appointment. But it failed to list the upcoming appointments that I have in my calendar. Have others found the search results incomplete? Or is there some option that needs to be set for a global search?

I don't know.
When I search for "dentist", I get my dentist contact and my appointments for Jun 18 (past), Jul 3, and Jul 10, but not the one for Aug 7. What's that about?
When is search the recurring event I mentioned earlier, I get just the next event scheduled.
I expect we might see improvements down the road, or we might get smarter.

You can go to FBL1N, (i.e vendor line items) and click change layout button. in the change layout menu, you have "Terms of Payament" field which show the tems of payment you had in the invoice..
You can use "terms of payment" field to display payment terms in the vendor masster data.

Item level ststus not showing search list for agent inbox

while selecting item level ststus in agent inbox it is not showing records in search list.so many records existed in system based on item leval ststuses.

Delete button not enabled on Inbox Search List

We are using CRM 2007 sp4. In one of our Web Interaction Centers we want to allow certain end users the ability to delete certain transactions from the inbox search list. At present when an item in the result list on the inbox [Component ICCMP_INBOX (Inbox Items)] the delete button is not enabled whilst the Edit, Display and Interact are all enabled. how do we enable the delete button.

Security create-keychain does not add the keychain to search list

Hello guys,
It seems that since OS X Mavericks the security create-keychain does not add the keychain in the search list. I tried calling the SecKeychainCreate directly to verify that this is not a bug in the SecurityTool (the result is the same). Could you please help me verify if this is expected behavior or more like a bug that was not reported?
Is there other way to create a keychain and add it to the search list except modifying the whole search list (for ex. using the security list-keychain)? I would like to concurrently create more than one keychain and modifying the whole search list does not seem like a good practice, becuase it introduces a race condition.
P.S. I tested this in Yosemite and the behavior is the same.

Webpage not highlighted on google search list after being viewed

I am using an Acer Aspire One netbook running XP. I do a google search using Mozilla Firefox 3.6.22 and get the usual list of search results.
Now when I view a website from the search list and then go back to the search list there is nothing indicating that I have viewed that particular page.
In the past once you've viewed a page from the google search list the underlined link normally changes colour is is highlighted to show that the page from the list has already been viewed.
This enables the user to keep track on what webpages have been viewed and which ones haven't.
I'm sure there must be a solution. I have the remember history switched on in the browser, tools/privacy window.
Can you assist please.

Do you only have that problem on the Google site?
Google is using a visited color (#551a8b) that is hardly distinguishable from the unvisited color (#2200cc), so may not notice it.

Dump with calling Custom search help in SRM Portal

Hi,
We are calling a WBS search help from Shopping Cart Cost Assignment screen.
It works fine with ITS and get the results for WBS elements, but when we try to access the search help through the Portal, after clicking on the FIND button it Dumps "SYSTEM_CANNOT_WRITE_TABLE".
Any Ideas ??
