Vendor Standard Letters - F.66

Hi
Is there a way that I can send the Vendor Standard Letters (Transaction F.66) via fax or email.
At the moment we can only print these letters to the local printer.
Thanx in advance.

Utian Goliath

Hi
Thanx for your help so far.
I have made alot of progress. I am able to fax and email the Vendor Individual Letter by implementing EXIT_RFKORIEX_001.
The code to update the FINAA structure was added to include ZXFKOU01.
The problem i have now is that the title of the fax and email is defaulted to RFKORD40/20080825/134744 which is the print program name, the date and the time of execution. I know that the title can be updated by changing TDTITLE field in the ITCPO structure but this structure is not accessible from within the user exit.
Any idea on how I can update the email/fax title??
Kind Regards
Utian

    1) if you set the profile to NO, that mean you didn`t use the AME. the iEepense used the manager which setup in the employee form .
    2)Yes, I`m sure in 11i10 .
    3) I don`t know.

  • Vendor standard report.

    Hello everybody,
    Is there any standard report which include the name of the vendor, the total of the credit transaction figure and the final balance (ex. for the end of 2009)?
    Thanks,
    Regards
    Sorin

    hi
    kindly check s_alr_87012079, here you will get the balances with the vendor name and the total balance for the year e.g. 2009.
    you can also use f.42 and add the name and search term in the layout for the vendor name.
    thanks

    Standard InfoRec 1 for Nart A to Vendor 001 --Fixed Vendor
    Standard InfoRec 2 for Nart A to Vendor 002
    Subcontract InfoRec 1 for nart A to Vendor 003 - Fixed Vendor

    We have the problem here, how can we set the fixed vendor in Source List, for Standard PO using vendor 001 and Subcon using Vendor 003?
    Thank you very much,

    In source list only one vendor can be assigned.
    If u want to assign 2 or more vendor, try using Quota Arragement.

  • Hi, after a little help editing this lettering.

    Hi all, I've currently got some standard lettering opened in adobe illustrator in font 'copper'
    I'm looking to cut this out on my plotter and have tried this (length of vinyl is around 10cm.
    When weeding the material, it's pretty difficult and some lettering lifts up with the vinyl so what I'm looking to do is add block line at the bottom 10th of the lettering.
    This line will hold all the letters together.
    I know I could simply add a rectangle but I'll need the bottom 10th of the lettering removed so it is not cut on the plotter.
    Please help with what I can do
    Thanks,

    If I understand correctly, and I appologize if I don't, I think the following process will work.
    I'm assuming the vinyl cutter follows the paths of the font, and if you draw a rectangle over the font to "connect" the letters, the path of the font is still active, so the cutter still follows that path and defeats the purpose of adding the "connecting" rectangle.
    I would:
    1. Outline the text.
    2. Draw the rectangle "connecter" over the outlined text.
    3. Select the rectangle and text and use the Unite function in the Pathfiner menu.
    4. This will, well, unite the shapes so the paths around the text that crosses over the rectangle will be eliminated.
    Hope this is on the right track and is of assistance.

    Points assured. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Nivedita ,
    There are various letters available in recruitment at diff status of an applicant , invitation for interview, offer letter , rejection letter etc. There are standard letters available , you can also customize the letters.

  • Using integers/characters as bookmarks in rtf document

    first of all, i am self taught (ie i know practically nothing)
    i am trying to write an application which includes a database and produces standard letters with individual clients' details inserted. it is driving me insane.
    i am using rtf files and the code below (part of which i stole off the internet) copies everything just fine
    the code below works ok for a limited number of 'fields' - the integers in the 'switch' apply to characters such as # $ [ and they seem to be the integers the code uses.......(the code inserts my fields as it should)
    and this is where my ignorance kicks in big-time - i have tried everything, putting the character itself into the switch instead of the integer, using Unicode symbols - to expand the range so i can use more 'fields' - but i have to confess i am really out of my depth, i don't really understand Unicode........
    for example, i have tried using 'à' as an example, but no matter whether i use the integer (the default one recovered from the rtf document by this code), the character itself, or the Unicode value........the code just ignores it, does not insert the field i require, instead just re-types the à in the copy document.
    tall order, but is there any simple way for me to have a much wider range of 'bookmarks' so i can insert fields?
    void doLetter(String lettCode, Client client, Defendant defendant)
    FileReader in = null;
    out = null;
    currClient = client;
    currDefendant = defendant;
    lett = lettCode;
    try
    File inputFile = new File("C:\\testBill\\" + lett + ".rtf");
    in = new FileReader(inputFile);
    out = new FileWriter(createPath(lett));
    int c;
    while ((c = in.read()) != -1)
    System.out.print(" " + c);
    if (insertField(c)) continue;
    out.write(c);
    catch (Exception io)
    System.out.println(io.getMessage());
    finally
    try
    in.close();
    out.close();
    catch (Exception ex)
    System.out.println(ex.getMessage());
    private boolean insertField(int d) throws Exception
    int a = d;
    switch(a)
    case 35: doField(currClient.getTitle());
    return true;
    case 36: doField(currClient.getFirstName());
    return true;
    case 91: doField(currClient.getLastName());
    return true;
    case 93: doField(currClient.getFirstAddress());
    return true;
    case 126: doField(currClient.getSecondAddress());
    return true;
    case 95: doField(currClient.getThirdAddress());
    return true;
    case 94: doField(currClient.getFourthAddress());
    return true;
    case 124: doField(currClient.getPostCode());
    return true;
    case 33: doField(currDefendant.getPPI());
    return true;
    case 64: doField(currDefendant.getLastName());
    //System.out.println(currDefendant.getLastName());
    return true;
    return false;
    private void doField(String champ) throws Exception
    String whatever = champ;
    char cbuf[] = whatever.toCharArray();
    out.write(cbuf);
    }

    hi mel
    first of all thanks for taking the trouble to answer my query. i am rather embarrassed on two counts - first for the mistake in my code (i did admit to ignorance after all) and secondly that i seem to have found an answer to my problem - after about 3 months of tearing out what hair i have, perhaps posting here galvanised me, i don't know.
    re your solution, yes i could switch happily between the characters themselves, the integers the rtf document seemed to be using (cp1252 or something like that?) and unicode symbols, but the problem was the code was only recognising certain symbols, such as $ and [, but it steadfastly refused to recognise (and therefore act upon) the accented a character (and every other character which was not a letter or a number), which effectively left me with about 12 fields to play with in my standard letters.
    anyway, this seems to be working!:
    int c;
    while ((c = in.read()) != -1)
    System.out.print(" " + c);
    if (c == '%')
    char cbuf[] = new char[3];//in my rtf document i am using %001, %002 etc
    cbuf[0] = (char)in.read();
    cbuf[1] = (char)in.read();
    cbuf[2] = (char)in.read();
    if (insertField(Integer.parseInt(new String(cbuf)))) continue;
    out.write(c);
    catch (Exception io)
    System.out.println(io.getMessage());
    finally
    try
    in.close();
    out.close();
    catch (Exception ex)
    System.out.println(ex.getMessage());
    private boolean insertField(int d) throws Exception
    int a = d;
    switch(a)
    case 1: doField(currClient.getTitle());//35 - these are integers i was using previously
    return true;
    case 2: doField(currClient.getFirstName());//36
    return true;
    case 3: doField(currClient.getLastName());//91
    return true;
    case 4: doField(currClient.getFirstAddress());//93
    return true;
    etc
    i just have to make sure i have no %s in my standard letters, otherwise i should use some other symbol. i will now worry until i am sure you are not going to point out why this will not work long term, but it seems to have worked so far and has helped expand my armoury of fields..........
    thanks once again for your help

  • No access to BIOS on W530 after W7 64bit installation | W7 boots and works fine

    Hello L'users
    My fancy problem with my W530 DOS machine 2441-B32. Age: 2 weeks.
    Bios was current (1.11) when I started installing W7 64bit. Before installation, I changed the BIOS setting to UEFI.
    OS Installation seems to be fine, no error messages from the OS or ThinkVantage so far.
    Funny is that I cannot access the BIOS any more.
    Here comes the plot.
    First message for about 5 seconds during boot procedure is:
    "To interrupt normal startup, press Enter"
    Problem: Pressing Enter does not interrupt the "normal" startup.
    Second message for about a second is:
    System BIOS shadowed
    Video BIOS shadowed
    BIOS Version: G5ET33W (1.11 )
    Press <F1> to BIOS Setup.
    Problems:
    Pressing F1 does not lead to setup.
    I did not manually shadow anything.
    BIOS was not secured from me with a pwd.
    Third message for about half a second is:
    ThinkVantage Active Protection sensor diagnostics start. /
    The fourth message is the start message from a booting W7.
    What I have tried:
    (1)
    BIOS Update Utility
    g5uj07us.exe
    Executed under W7 says
    BIOS image file is same as BIOS ROM
    An update is not necessary at this time.
    So it seems that the BIOS is accessible by this utility.
    (2)
    Starting from the DVD-ROM is not possible, I tried to boot from the DOS bootable BIOS FLASH CD, an OpenSuse DVD, DBAN.
    I was thinking about erasing the HDD in an external USB docking, booting the W530 from the DOS bootable BIOS FLASH CD without a HDD installed, restoring the BIOS and trying another W7 install.
    But: This is nearly the same what I did when I installed W7 the first time.
    Any ideas? Does anybody here had the same problem?
    Thanx!

  • How to preserve colours in converted files

    I want to convert a pdf file with colour graphics (headed paper) to a word file whilst preserving the colours. However, so far have only managed to convert to black and white in the word doc. Can it be done>

    Hi, I am using Adobe reader 11.0.7 and I have upgraded to Export PDF. I click the convert box on the right hand menu on my screen. I am a novice, so forgive if this is a stupid question - I can't even use the word file because the text I type comes out on a different page. I wanted to scan my headed paper to Word and save my standard letters on there to save having to print and scan them before emailing. Very few of my letters need to be personally signed, so it would save me a bunch of time to be able to create my word docs straight onto headed paper. Am I barking up the wrong tree??

  • Problem with Ligatures / OpenType features...

    Hi, I am writing a book using an OpenType font and encountering some problems.
    Note - if pics don't show up below, click and they'll "enlarge" and appear.
    This type of font has alternates, which can be edited using the "Typography Panel" as shown here:
    OpenType fonts, such as Zapfino, have alternate characters. Here's the default settings for this font:
    Here's what it looks like when you change the Typography settings...
    The changes look fine in iBooks Author, but when I sync them to iBooks on the iPad OR on the Mac, the fonts revert back to their original settings (with different character shapes). I believe this problem just started, and it is messing up my layout a great deal!
    When the book transfers to the iPad, it looks fine while the "loading..." screen is there. But as soon as the loading is done, the fonts jump from the chosen "Typography" setting to the default. This happens with downloaded OpenType fonts as well as pre-installed ones from Apple. It also occurs even when I am starting a fresh book from a template, so I don't think my file is corrupt. Any idea what I can do to help?
    Thank you,
    Stephen

    Tom, thank you for taking the time to check whether this works for you. I could have sworn it was working on my projects as recently as a few weeks ago, but perhaps I just didn't notice that when previewing the book on the iPad it was reverting to standard lettering.
    I'm not using Zapfino in the book, but I knew it would be a good example since it is a default font. I was under the impression that iBooks supported OpenType features because they allow selection of special typography features  in iBooks Author, those features display in iBooks Author, and there's some mention of turning on/off ligatures at this support site iBooks Author: Change text font, size, color, alignment, and spacing (see 2nd to last paragraph) ... ligatures being in the same panel as the other options.
    However, if it doesn't work for you and doesn't work for me... it probably just doesn't work!
    Thank you again for looking into this with me

  • DVD-ROM contents missing on DVD

    I have added about 500 MB of picture files to the DVD-ROM Contents of my DVD project. The Project Info screen shows the DVD Capacity at "2.2 GB of 4.2 GB" and all of the picture files (as far as I can tell) are listed in the Media list of contents.
    The problem I am having is that the burned DVD from this project only includes a single picture within the "DVD-ROM Contents" folder of the finished product. Is there a solution for this? All of my software is up to date as of today.
    MacBook   Mac OS X (10.4.10)

    Cool... I can do this.
    How long (in minutes) is the movie?
    14 min, 22 23/30 sec
    Did you use the movie in any motion menu drop zones?
    Nope. I only used two photos in a single drop zone (and neither is in the DVD-ROM contents.
    Did you use any unusual characters in the file names
    of your images? Can you give us an example name?
    They are all the default names from the camera (e.g. P6110006.JPG) and appear to only have standard letters and numbers.
    Are the images on the same hard drive as your iDVD
    project file?
    Yes, they all are.
    Thanks!

  • Freight costs per PO

    Hi gurus,
    is it possible to automatically determine freight costs on header level of a PO?
    I can enter freight costs on item level (condition types FRA1, FRB1 etc.) and create condition records for them in info records.
    But on header level, none of the condition types mentioned above is allowed. Am I missing something or do I have to create new condition types (similar to ZB00) to be able to enter freight costs on header level (e.g. 100$ per PO, regardless how many items it contains)?
    I would also like to create condition records for those freight costs for each vendor.
    Thank you
    Alicia

    Hi,
    You can mark the existing freight conditions as "Header condition" in M/06 and also active the "Group Condition" indicator to distribute it proportionately among the PO line items.
    Also you can assign the access sequence of Vendor (Standard is 0006) and maintain condition record in MEK1.
    All the above changes can be done in a new condition type also by copying the standard one if you don't want to hamper SAP standard settings.

  • J1IH -adjustment entry

    Hi, experts
    Here i m doing the return scenario to vendor
    (Normal process )ME21N - MIGO 103 & 105 (part1 - capture) - J1IEX (part2 -post) - MIRO
    (Return Process )MIGO (Return deleivery) with part1 entry -J1IS exise invoice with posting (not doing J1IV) here i m getting ED duty payable entry while saving the J1IS excise invoice.
    But now i want the adjustment entry in Modvat receivable account for that i m doing J1IH.In which which doc no to be entered please suggest.and why J1IV is not required here? i m get confused.so please suggest.

    Hi,
    Return to Vendor Standard Process followed in most of the companies is as follow :
    1. At the time of GR , you have captured Excise for whole Qty, for e.g. Qty - 50 , Excise - 120.00 ( BED2Edces%1HScess%),
    For e.g.
    Accountig entries are
    RG-23 A BED HiEdCe-1    Dr    - 80.00
    RG-23 A BED A/C -1         Dr   - 16.00
    RG-23 A BED EdCess-1    Dr   - 4.00
              CENVAT Clearing A/C            Cr   - 100.00
    Now you want to send the material to Vendor
    Create Return PO for 25 Qty --> Do MIGO - 161 Movement  -> Create Rerurn Excise Invoice thru J1IS, Accounting Entries will be
    BED Payable Govt           Cr. - 40
    CENVAT Clearing A/C      Dr. - 40
    BED Ecess Payable Go   Dr - 8
    CENVAT Clearing A/C      Dr. - 8
    BED Hi-Ecess Payable    Cr . - 2
    CENVAT Clearing A/C      Dr.  - 2
    So by J2IUN you will be paying the duty to Govt , so indirectly you are reversing the duty, since Cenvat Clearing will have now Rs.50 after this entry.
    Any how your requirement can be fulfilled by creating a Sub Transaction Type and assigning Account Determination, you will have to explore.
    Regards,
    Vikas
