Vendor Total Block 99 , was unable to block against payment

Dear Friends,
Vendor was total block 99 on Dec 2012.
However, the system did not stop when payment was being made to the vendor on Jan, 13?
Please explain when this is happening even after vendor block was done.

do you want to say you entered a 99 in XK05 transaction?
Have you read the F1 field help? This block is material specific and only affects a business case for a material that has QM in procurement activated.
if you want to block a vendor from any business, then you have to use the boxes (block company code and block purchasing org) above that field.

Dear All,
I hv created new customer and extended credit limit through FD32, assigned Risk Categeory and set the limit to 10,000/-.
When i am posting Sale Order with 15,000 or more value, i am not getting any warning or error message while saving Sale Invoice. No block was set against delivery or billing in Sale Order.
Kindly guide me, which step i am missing. FYI, customer dont hv any open item or credit exposure as of now becoz he was new customer.

Option 1
If your requirement is to go ahead with warning message and allow saving the sales document, maintain A in VOV8 for credit limit check.
If you want to restrict creating sales order when credit limit exceeded maintain B in VOV8 for credit limit check.
Option 2
Now in OVA8 if you click on dynamic option. Make sure you satisfy these requirements
The customer's credit exposure is split into a static part - open items, open billing, and delivery values - and a dynamic part, the open order value. The open order value includes all not yet or only partially delivered orders. The value is calculated based on the shipping date and the credit horizon you specify in the adjacent field. For the purposes of evaluating credit, you want the system to ignore all open orders that are due for delivery after the horizon date. The sum of the static and dynamic parts of the check may not exceed the credit limit.
I would recommend with option 1, still if you want to go for option 2
Then click on Static and make sure you also select open orders and open deliveries.
This will happen if you select static
The customer's credit exposure may not exceed the established credit limit. The credit exposure is the total combined value of the following:
Open sales documents
Open delivery documents
Open billing documents
Open items (accounts receivable)
You can specify in the adjacent fields whether the system takes into account all open orders and all open deliveries.

Unable to Block Callers?

Previously I had no problem blocking specific callers, but now that option isn't clickable from my drop-down menu. I've been receiving URGENT ALERT Spam calls (4x today alone!) and I'd like to block the caller, but am unable to.
I found that I would also be unable to block anyone on my contacts list, however I had done so twice before in the last year... How can I fix this? Why is this option still in my drop-down menu but unaccessible?

Looks like this problem has been going on for quite some time. Starting to look like a bid by MS to remove an option that many of us need because of the high level of spam calls (hmmm.... kind of like hotmail!!!!). Maybe they want to start charging for this feature in the future ? In any case I guess its time to start looking for alternatives. Here is my list... Unable to block Non-Corprate machine access to CORP wireless network

I am facing this problem right now , I created rule 1 for host authentication and rule 2 for user authentication ,but seems I am unable to block non-corprate machine * IPAD or smart phone* to access CORP wireless network if people put vaild domain user name and password.
Here is deatils and please help.
Rule 1 --Host AUTH---
External Groupls : AD1
Protocol: Radius
Was Machine Authenticated: -ANY-
System name : start with host/
Results : Permit Access
Rule 2 --User AUTH---
External Groupls : AD1
Protocol: Radius

Now , If I connect personal smart phone with windows username and password , ACS is able to blocked , screenshot as follow
But ,If I connect same personal phone with "domain\username" and password , the phone is able to connact , and here is screenshot.
Question is why matched "host AUTH" rule when I use "domain\username " on personal phone ? However, I do check the system name in "host AUTH" and permit access until system name start with "host/ " , so how come , this person is able to passed the rule .

We don't have BYOD at this moment , so we don't want employee access CORP wireless network with their personal devices.
Back to question, I was able to authenticate the laptop by machine name and seems work if I only type the username without domain .
But if I type "domain\username " into phone, I am able to connect it , I don't know why this can be happened and how to fix.

Cisco SA520 - Unable to block all torrents and Poor Performance

Hi, I have installed a Cisco SA520W Appliance at a Client who has about 40-50 PC's, the device has the latest firmware 2.1.7 and latest IPS signature (17) installed, the client is quite disappointed about the performance of the device as he believes Internet browsing access has slowed down substantially.
The main problem the client is encountering is that, he is unable to block Utorrent P2P software and this is not allowing him to retain Internet control from the SA520 appliance.
He had also commented on the fact that there does not appear to be a status monitor on IP usage of Internet access to pinpoint who at that time would be hogging up the bandwidth.
Any feedback, same encounters scenarios and possible fixes to the above issues would be appreciated.

You might find this thread interesting regarding the router's performance with IPS turned on. An SA540, and an access point, would yield slightly better performance. That's what we use.

There are some older threads regarding the SA500 series router's ability to detect torrent activity. You might want to dig them up and respond to them. The Cisco folks were working diligently at optimizing the IPS engine's ability to detect different types of torrent activity.
There is no way to monitor Internet access usage at the individual IP level that I am aware of. I suggest turning on network logging (to a syslog server as there will be a lot of data to capture) and monitor traffic that way. Kiwi Syslog Server has a free version that your client could use.

Vendor Master- Mass change to set block function 02 for selected PurchOrg

We are using SAP 4.7.
We want to do Vendor Master- Mass change to set block function 02 (T code- MK05 in block for quality reasons) for selected Purchasing Organizations to approximately 2000 number of vendors. I tried this using mass maintenance (T code XK99), but in this case block function of all purchasing organisations gets changed. We want it for certain purchasing organisations only. Kindly suggest the solution.
In case I have to go for a development can you please suggest any functional module/ BAPI?
Can I achieve this using mass maintenance functionality (XK99)?

Using the block function in XK05 will block the vendor for all purchasing organizations (as mentioned in the documentation of the field). What you can do is to use purchasing block for the selected purchasing organization.
The field is LFM1-SPERM, and this can be done via mass maintenance using XK99.

Ora-26040 : data block was loaded using the NOLOGGING option

i have restored full back up database using RMAN sucessfully from one server to another .Restoration process do not contain any error.
New Database contain job when it executes then it leaves mesaage in alert log.
"ORA-01578 oracle data block corrupted file # 6 block # 6888812"
"ORA-26040 data block was loaded using nologging option".
please let me know how it could recovered and prevented.

In short, your full backup has happened when a NOLOGGING transaction was on flight. Hence the recovery process should get the transaction's data out of archive logs. BUT the data doesn't exist in archivelog beause the transaction was NOLOGGING. For comprehensive detail read the documents above.
To prevent this situation, backup the database when no NOLOGGING transaction is running.

Natesh answer is perfectly correct.
But if you want to understand the number of cell in a block, open your application properties, in the dimension tab (not sure), your blocks are defined by the number of dense dimensions you have, and the number of stored members in those dimensions.
Number of cell in a block = Number of stored members in dense dimension 1 * Number of stored members in dimension 2 * ... * Number of... dimension n
Try to keep n very small of course ;). The more you have dense dimension, the bigger your blocks are. The more stored members they have, the bigger your blocks are.

Probably you will see the message “Starting database” associated with the message you posted above. This may occur when SQL Server Express Edition is installed on a computer and databases have the “Auto Close” option set “On” (by default is “On” on Express
Edition).
Set “Auto Close” off for all databases using the following article:

Vendor Open Item Was Not Offset After a Replacement Check

Hi FI Guru,
We have an issue with vendor replacement check. Our vendor open item still apears in FBL1N after a replacement check is paid. We initially issued a check against a vendor invoice and we had to void that check because due to check printing problem.   The check was cancelled in FCH8. We then issued a replacement check in F110. When I displayed open items for the vendor in FBL1N, the vendor invoice still showed up. The replacement check already sent to our vendor. So we have to apply the payment to the vendor's invoice. It seems the second transaction (for the replacement check) is incomplete because I dont't think it hits our bank account.
Here are my questions:
1) Is there another transaction our user needs to offset vendor invoice?
2) If we have to fix it manually, what is the best option to offset the open vendor invoice and still be able to hit our bank account.

In order to change the Open Item Management for a G/L account using
ZFSEPA02 the line item total(Total of open items)for this account
should match/tally with the account balance for this account (FS10),
otherwise the open item activation will not be possible.
Unfortunately as per note 175960 you find reports RFSEPA02/ RFSEPA03
are no longer supported as of release 4.5A.
ALTHOUGH you can find a possible solution on how to tally the line items
to the balance in the NOTE 403744.
1. Active New General Ledger
         This note applies ONLY WITH RESTRICTIONS to Release ERP 2004 or ERP
         2005 with activated New General Ledger and activated document
         splitting.
         In these releases, it is not currently possible to subsequently
         activate the open item management under the specified conditions.
         The only option currently available is to set up a new account with
         open item management and to use this instead of the original
         account.
         However, it is also possible to deactivate the open item management
         using report ZFSEPA03 under the prerequisites described below.
     2. Migration to the New GL:
         If you are planning to migrate to the new General Ledger using a
         migration type that enables the use of document splitting, ensure
         that in Phase 1 and Phase 2 NO changes are make to the open item
         management. Phases 1 and 2 indicate the period between the migration
         date and the end of the actual migration (the "Migration Completed"
         indicator is set)

HP Laserjet 2820 - print spooler was unable to connect

Working in Microsoft 2003 and printer is on a wireless network. In over a year - never had a problem until 5 days ago an error message appeared when I attempted printing which stated... print spooler was unable to connect to your printer. This can be caused by your printer being turned off, the cable being unplugges, or being connected to a VPN, which will block your access to your local network.
Also, when I attempted accessing the Print Settings from HP Director, it would not open and gave an error message...An unknown error occurred. Make certain that the device's power cord is plugged in, the power is turned on, and that all cables are properly connected. Check the Troubleshooting tab or product documentation for more information.
Next, I thought I would delete the software and re-install. However - I no longer have the installation disk for the printer.I then tried changing the printer port to a standard port. That did not work.

Whenever I try to open Word, it gives the error "Sorry, something went wrong and Word was unable to start.(6)". Other office applications either freeze or crash. Only Excel works fine. Running Win7 64 bit.
Tried all possible ways of installation/reinstallation. Did repair, uninstalled and reinstalled manually, uninstalled with FixIt from Microsoft, removed every leftover thing from registry. Also removed some other applications that I thought could cause this
problem for Office.
Uninstalled 64 bit Office, and installed 32 bit, same exact problems.
!!!Don't suggest me to run as administrator please!!!

According to your description, I suppose that Word 2013 was blocked by some other applications after you opening it.
Which operation system do you use? Have you installed the Office 2013 SP1?
Then, we try to do some tests to narrow down the issue:
1. Collect the Event log

2. Use the
Process Monitor to collect the detailed information.
Open process monitor, and reproduce this issue, if there is any files or keys were blocked during the process.Please let me know, and you could save as the file from process monitor, upload the file through One Drive and share the link to me. I'll
